The crowd cheered and screamed for Nuke to roll over and get the pinfall here and now, this must be a win.
But.. no.
Nuke didn't move for a moment - he must have been out of it.
A good five seconds or so passed until Fusion rolled over groggily, laying a single limp arm over Damone.

Drako rolls his shoulder off the mat at the very last possible moment, moving purely out of instinct because he certainly wasn't fully aware of what he was doing at the moment

Half the fans cheered, happy that the match was continuing.
The other half stood with mouths open, hands on their heads, unsure of just what it would take for either of these men to take the victory.
Either way, the entire arena were on their feet.
Nuke turned a little and planted his forehead into the mat, his eyes rolling slightly. A moonsault, a headbutt and a superkick.. that was some serious cranial damage there.
The ref checked on both men, and Nuke gave a weak squeeze of the hand. Game on, time to go.

The Soaring Dragon certainly isn't living his nickname right now. He's laying on his side on the mat after that kickout. Once again, he rolls to lay flat on his stomach, looking around through his hair. That's enough to signal the ref that he's still able to continue at this point, but now the fight to get vertical begins again

Almost like these two have been here before, they were both trying to get to their feet once more.
This time, however, Nuke was a little quicker getting up. Whether from sheer grit, or from the fact he could be concussed, the match was really getting interesting.
The ref didn't have to start a count as Fusion got to one knee, eyes wide, staring out at the crowd. In a show of aggression he slapped his own peck hard, twice, and then powered his way to his feet.

Drako spotted Nuke rising as he looked out from under his dreadlocks. Screw getting them out of the way. He can see well enough as he pushes himself up to a vertical base. Shaky, but he's up. It's been a long night at the office, so to speak, and the evidence is there between the sweat and the red marks on the chest from chops. Not to mention the heavy breathing

This was truly becoming a war, as both men got back to their feet.
The pace has slowed down, but the strikes were hard, and the moves performed were powerful and impactful.
Fusion stepped forward, eyes fixed on his opponent and reached out to grip the back of his head.

Drako doesn't have as much in him to resist at this point. Truth be told, Nuke might actually be somewhat holding him up by grabbing the back of his head. What he has in mind is anyone's guess, but at least both men are vertical

Nuke nodded his head and pulled Drako's head under his arm. He looked out around the crowd, lifting the index finger on his left hand into the air, and readying himself and the fans.
Fusion then attempted to lift Damone up into the air!

Drako is mostly dead weight here, and finds himself hoisted high in the air with no idea of what kind of landing is in store. Held up, he occasionally moves his legs, perhaps trying to throw Nuke off balance or in some way counter

Nuke keeps Drako up in the air, legs waving around, and has a smile on his face.
He teetered back and forth with the weight he was holding up.. and meanwhile, knew that all the blood would be rushing to Damone's head.

Oh a stalling suplex maybe? Lovely, at least for the fans. Drako, meanwhile, is getting a headache up here. Being held upside down is never fun, and gives him flashbacks to living with his elder brothers. Traumatizing

"What's the weather like up there, old friend?"", Nuke called out in a friendly but sarcastic manner to Drako.
He was just keeping him up there for what must have felt like minutes at a time.

Drako seems to be trapped, but he'd spent his early existence and especially wrestling training get ragdolled by two 6'10 300+ pound monsters. Eventually, instinct has to kick in and he attempts to to shift his weight backwards to come down on his feet behind Nuke, but while aiming to keep an arm around his head, and drop him with a falling neckbreaker

Drako shifted his weight well, and knocked Nuke's balance briefly. Gravity then did it's job, bringing both men crashing down.
What the crowd didn't expect, was for Drako to be able to reverse that into a stunning neckbreaker!
