1.) My most recent experience with critical thinking was analyzing themes in the novel Of Mice and Men for a school project. I had to examine the characters' relationships, the impact of loneliness, and how Steinbeck used symbolism to highlight the struggles of the Great Depression. It required a lot of attention to detail and connecting ideas.

2.) I feel fairly comfortable writing essays about literature, but I know there’s always room to grow. I enjoy exploring themes, characters, and symbols, but sometimes I struggle with organizing my ideas or making my thesis as strong as it could be.

3.) Right now, I’m reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It’s an enchanting story about a magical competition between two illusionists set in a mysterious traveling circus. I’m enjoying how beautifully the author describes the world and how the characters develop.

4.) My favorite creative text is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I love it because of how it combines a powerful story with beautiful writing. The way Death narrates the book is so unique, and it made me think deeply about humanity, war, and kindness.

I analyzed texts last semester. I prefer writing and try to talk the way I write, so I end up writing quite a bit. I'm reading nothing so far. My favorite poem is "If you aspire to attain a lofty honor" by Al-Mutanabbi.

My most recent experience with critical analysis and critical thinking was when I was writing my final research paper for my College Writing 1 class, where I argued against the use of AI art on a ethical and technical level.

I would say my comfort level with writing essays about literature can vary depending on what I'm reading, but generally I'm confident in both analyzing stories and writing about them.

Currently I am reading (binging) Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (Webtoons).

My favorite creative text would have to be FMAB, I love how the plot slowly unravels and how each character develops as it progresses, the elements of foreshadowing that I didn't even pick up when watching the show, only noticing it when I've actually read it, and loved how the conclusion gave a very satisfying ending. It's obviously a little dated but it's still my favorite.

My most recent experience with critical analysis and critical thinking was yesterday. I am currently enrolled in Criminal Justice and the discussion forum is a wonderful place to think critically about very relevant issues.

I am very comfortable writing essays, however my comfort level writing essays about literature is average. I prefer writing about things with a historical context.

I am currently reading: Animal Farm by George Orwell. I have a 13 year old daughter who is an avid reader and I try to read books that she finds very interesting so that we can discuss them.

My favorite creative texts are typically fiction novels. I prefer easy reading novels with plenty of plot twists and turns.

My recent experience with critical thinking was during my last writing class with our final essay. I am not very comfortable writing about literature, since I haven't done much of it. I am not reading anything but I am in search of a series to read. My favorite creative text is Macbeth by Shakespeare. I read it twice in high school and I enjoyed it.
