The former world heavyweight champion would show his resilience, making the kick out. Trent would rally back to his feet. Following behind Bobby Roode. Looking a few months back, its hard to imagine things would have gone the way they have between these two.

Trent looked to go in for another big move. Wrapping his arms around the waist of Roode and looking to nail a big german suplex!

Roode would attempt to hold his weight down and elbow Trent repeatedly until he let's him go!

Roode would push his weight down and would luckily not go to Suplex city, instead he would be throwing haymaker elbows. Two catching Trent and causing the Champ to back off while holding his head.

Roode would then attempt to turn and grab Trent with both hands and throw him shoulder first into the ring post of an unoccupied corner.

As Trent was still recovering from those sharp elbows, luckily not getting cut, he would get interrupted and thrown into the nearest unoccupied corners ringpost into his dominant side's shoulder. Upon making contact, Trent would begin to slip out from the space between the pads, holding the shoulder that made contact with his non dominant arm.

After doing so, Roode would favor where he was hurting. After getting the opening he needed, Roode pulls Trent out of the corner towards his team, as with Trent damaged a bit from hitting the ring post, Roode gets close enough to his team to tag in TRIPLE H!

Trent would be led into the wolf den as the alpha was making his way out. For the first time in quite some time, it would be World Champion vs World Champion. But what a terrible time for this to happen as Trent would be favoring his shoulder.

Triple H would receive the tag by Authority mate Bobby Roode, where he would come in through the middle rope and send a huge knee to Trent's gut!

Trent would once again get struck in the gut, dropping to a knee before collapsing into Triple H from the might of the kick.

Roode would exit the ring after tagging in Triple H and he delivered the knee to Trent, and would get on his teams apron.

Triple H would take his time picking apart Trent, lifting him to his feet and winding back a big chop to his chest!

Trent would get picked back to a vertical stance, just to get his chest chopped. Sending Trent stumbling away while holding the exact spot that was struck by Triple H.

Triple H would then look to deliver a suplex to Trent towards the center of the ring for good measure!
