The last play I read was Macbeth and that was back in my junior year of high school. 2 years ago, I didn't enjoy reading it that much since Shakespeare writing was on another level. It's insane of how talented he was in writing.

I struggled to read Shakespeare as well in high school. I remember it took a while to decode the language, which is why I also didn't enjoy the reading Macbeth or Romeo and Juliet to o much either.

I think it was Hamlet, I was actually surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did.

Welcome to the Drama Unit. In this module, we will cover the Elements of Drama and we will review some plays and performances. Dramas can be very detailed with staging instructions, characterisation, setting details, and sometimes dramatists (playwrights) also leave flexibility. Review the materials in the course module, then get ready to share your thoughts in the forum threads below.

I've seen tv shows or movies, but not in person. I find myself enjoying musicals when I understand the storyline.

Yes, I enjoyed both, but the film was better to me with the knowledge of the play.

I have never been to a drama perfomance but I would love to see one in person. It's interesting how well the actors convey their emotion through singing and speaking.

I love musicals, especially mamma mia, Which was filmed in Greece. There was a lot of emotion throughout the play and I enjoyed it very much.

I've never seen an opera and I'm not really fond of watching them. Although I know some are very entertaining to watch.

The last play that I read before this class was Romeo and Juliet. This was my first play that I read from William Shakespear and that was when I was introduced to his wordplay. To this day that is my favorite play that I have read.

I have watched Hamilton live. My whole life I heard about how famous this play was and what all the hype was about. But when I saw I simply could not take my eyes off the performance. That was the single greatest musical that anyone could probably ever see.
