Dean is dragged down as he lets out a grunt. This is not good and he knows it as the hold encompasses his upper body. Dean attempts to fight it, angling them to the side, and attempting to bring a knee up so he can get a little leverage on the situation.

this is one of Drako's favorite submission holds, one his brother had used on him so much in training that he'd taken it from a source of PTSD to a tool he could utilize. So he attempts to really cinch the hold in while making sure to keep his right shoulder off the canvas, attempting to press down a bit more on Dean's head to either get him to fade out or tap out

Things being to set in even quicker that this was now panic mode. The audience didn’t matter. Rosario didn’t matter. Hell at the rater he could feel his breathing go the rules didn’t matter. He had respect for the champion but that only meant so much. Dean stretched his arm at, aiming to gouge the eyes of Drako with his fingers. He couldn't really perform a strike and the ropes seemed far away, but maybe just maybe he could get the hold to release.

an eyepoke certainly wasn't legal, but that didn't matter here, as it successfully forces Drako to release the hold. The champion rolls away, one hand over his eye, but begins to get back to his feet

Dean gasped for air as the hold was released. He was able to get out, no one was happy about it though. The referee immediately began to chastise the young man but it fell on deaf ears as he rose to his feet as well. A bull s**t chant mustering through out from the crowd was hitting his ears.

Drako is up and rubbing his eye to clear his vision again. But the match can't stop just because one eye is blurry. the referee checks on him first, and he assures the ref that he's fine to continue

Dean now fully up and relieved that he was out of the triangle choke looked at Drako. Dean would move toward his opponent cautiously and once close enough throw a forearm as hard as he could to Drako.

Drako is clocked with a forearm and stumbles back a few steps. The champion scowls. He'd just been poked in the eye and now caught a forearm to the head. If it's a fight Dean wants, it's a fight he'll get, as the Soaring Dragon comes back and throws a right at the side of Dean's head with what he hoped with equal or greater force

Dean felt the right hand and knew it was on for Drako. Nothing technical, nothing show off. Just a brawl. Dean would move forward again aiming an even harder forearm to Drako, and if it connected he would try to follow up with an uppercut!

Drako is clocked with a second forearm and just when he wanted to retaliate an uppercut cuts him off. Again he stumbles back a few steps and this time he would come back harder, aiming to clock the challenger with a superkick

Dean was ready for the fight so he was ready for the super kick, especially after seeing Rosario eat one. But he wasn't quick enough for it as it connected whilst Dean was in movement. This caused Dean to spin as he stumbled into the ropes. It was cleeeeeaaaan.

Drako got a result he could live with there. He advances forward and looks to grab Dean by the head to pull him away from the ropes, aiming to plant him with the Dragon Shot, his version of the snap DDT

Dean laid on the ropes before being dragged away. He was aware enough to know that his head underneath Drako's arm was about to be very bad. He had never faced this man before but Rosario had made him watch tapes upon tapes, and once this hit, it was over. Dean, responded by planting his feet, attempting to grab Drako by the waste and delivering a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex to catch the Champion off guard.

Drako was certain he was about to put the challenger away. He was ready to kick and drop him.....that is until Dean grabs him by the waist and lifts him up and over, the impact jarring as the northern lights suplex lands, with Dean widely bridging right into a pin
One....two...thr....
The champion once again lifts his right shoulder off the mst to break the pin just before the three count

Dean slides off, the pin breaking. Dumbfounded is his look but he's learned his lesson on wasting time, that's how he and his mentor got kicked in the face. Dean stumbled to his feet, attempting to bring Drako to his feet. He would now try to put Drako underneath his arm's and once again attempt his Anchor Slam, trying to throw the champion once again.
