((welps, it seems that Humbra and Tomasu are in the middle of a training spar...with Oni watching...you may as well come in, shouting your apology for being late as you just saw the team rosters and introduce yourself to whoever's not about to be hit by a jutsu))

Kat Takahashi had just graduated from the academy. She was notified that her new genin team would be at the training grounds. Or at least she was told. She saw two of the genins sparing with each other. She instantly recognized Humbra and she smiled. "Oi!" She said with a flick of her wrist announcing her presence. "Sorry I'm late." she announced as she rubbed the back of her neck nervously.

((Its not 2 genins sparring, its me vs humbra, Oni is off to the side after having been punished lol. Sorry I havent been on, big anime convention just finished and then ive worked everyday as well..))
Tomasu clapped his hands together and formed a large amount of water
above the poison, allowing it to then pour down over the poison and thus
dissipating it from the air and Tomasu from harm's way.
"Hmm be careful with that jutsu, Humbra-chan, without the proper caution it can be dangerous"
As he said this, Tomasu noticed a young girl walk onto the grounds and halted Humbra momentarily, leaving the fight to introduce himself..

The Gennin sighed. He waved at Kat, remembering her from the short few days he stayed at the academy. Humbra remained quiet, though, and restrained in his welcome. He still wanted to test his jutsus on Tomasu.

Kat flicked her wrist casually at Humbra. Kat also smirked but then she became emotionless as what seemed to be their sensei approached her.

((Its called Avcon, Its in Adelaide, Australia, so I dont think you would have heard of it, unless your Australian blaugh ))
Tomasu made his way over and smiled. "Kat I presume? We've been expecting you" he said as he took out a small scroll from one of the pockets inside his vest and read from it.
"Well, if you want to, feel free to join in our small sparring round, Oni-chan over there isnt participating right now for punishment, but you can join us, Id like to see what the newest addition to the team is capable of"
With that he grinned, and in a flash was back over next to Humbra, looming over him and taking him by surprise "Always keep your guard up!"

Humbra broke into a grin as he finished his last seal for a technique. "Good, sensei. Tejina: Kaika Guntou (Sleight of Hand: Enlightening Blooming Sabre)." Snap-snap. With his hands still close together, the Gennin snapped his fingers. A light ball of smoke fumed from the ninja's hands.
Short seconds later the young nin flicked both of his wrists. From the small plumes of smoke two razor edged roses rushed at the Jounin's lower stomach. Tomasu, since he was so close and so much taller, would most presumably be in a tough spot to dodge an attack that aimed at his overly exposed stomach that simply 'loomed' in front of the Gennin.
His stomach would become even more in danger when the Gennin's jutsu kicked into effect. A shining long piece of metal slid out of Humbra's right sleeve into his right hand. The split second the blooming sabre fell into his fingers he sped forth toward the stomach of his sensei. With a flick of his right wrist the sword would point and presumably plunge into Tomasu's right lung.

((Humbra just remember for future posts that as a genin, you wouldnt be able to make the seals and think of a counter attack that easily, especailly against a jounin. I dont mind so much here, but against others they might get a little annoyed, especially since there was no mention of you begining any seals in your earlier post, and then they were miraculously finished ^_^))
Tomasu grinned as the roses flew at him, and he was able to sheild himself with 2 crude ice shields, but the blade was able to make its mark, hitting and stabbing Tomasu.
He fell forward as the pain started to kick in and then all of a sudden, when he should have hit the ground after falling, a small puddle of water was all that was left and clearing went quiet..
[[ Just a note: That depends on the skills and perception of the Genin that the player decides upon and has developed, Ookami. Generally, a Jounin is a great deal more experienced in all that a Genin is able to do, but it ultimately depends on the ninja in question. ]]

"BS," Humbra stated, looking over at his sensei's puddle. "I know you're not in pain, or have been hurt by my lame Gennin skills," the Gennin muttered. His eyes wandered to Okami's wet imprint and he pulled his sword away from area that his sensei once was in. "A Jounin shouldn't be able to be hit in such a way," he murmured, turning his attention toward the nearby surroundings. He slid his sword neatly on his palm, making sure he had an even grip on it.
Humbra then yelled out into the forest, calling out to Tomasu after a short minute of waiting," Oye! Stop playing with me!" He adjusted himself accordingly, awaiting his teacher. The Gennin knew for a fact that Tomasu would come back- it just was a question of where/when he would appear. "I know you couldn't have been hurt by a simply cut like that. You're a Jounin! Show me your tactics. Teach me!"

In a flash, Tomasu shot out from another puddle behind Humbra, kicking the sword out of his hand and placing a kunai gently on his throat.
"Next lesson. Never forget the basics.. Kawarimi no jutsu being the immediate example here, but in all aspects. theres no point in using up a large portion of chakra for a huge devastating blow if it wont work, or theres a chance that it can be dodged or even turned back on you. Your mind has to be reeling every second your in battle. Im not saying you tried to unleash a mass attack and wasted chakra, its merely an example but yes.."

The sword that was in the Gennin's hand was sent flying. Then, as quickly as his sword flew from his hands, a kunai was at his throat. "Alright," Humbra responded, heeding the words of the elder shinobi.

Tomasu smiled as he released the genin, "good, its important that you understand that although Im not the oldest of leaders like some others you may see, Ive still been chosen under the same scrutinizing and watful eyes as they have, and therefore, even though somethimes I may babble, its more favorable to pick on things you see practically, rather than wait for me to physically teach you things.
I will still of course do that, but for things such as now, with fighting experience and help, its much better to observe and learn..."
He stepped away and motioned, "OK! Kat-chan! Oni-chan! Join in!!
You have to try and make solid contact with me using any form of combat.
BEGIN!"

Kat had decided not to immediately participate in the fight between her academy companion Humbra and Ookami. She smiled as she decided to do some observing. She, as quickly as she could placed her hands together in the form of a seal that represented the no. three. it was the sand technique she had limited ability of. Kat was planning on using it to watch the fight while she focused on what her plans were for fighting the jounin and genin. She closed her eyes while she focused on completely the seal along with the jutsu.
((and nope never heard of it. I like on the west coast of the usa. but i am going to a con in about a month. i'm going as temari.))
