"What's that supposed to mean?!" Mirzam snapped, fur bristling further as his ears pressed back against his head. But his Flamethrower was interrupted as that Umbreon stepped in the way. The attack ended and he started pacing to the side to see if he could get around Jury. Then the Pancham said another thing that made no sense to Mirzam. "'Hurt the Tapu?' What are you talking about?" And why did he reference being as strong as Sly's Steelix? What a random--suddenly Pancham was coming again, and Mirzam scrambled to respond. He went with his go-to move, which was Flamethrower again. Pancham would have to charge through the flames, but of course Mirzam would also be snatched into a Vital Throw. He bounced off the ground and then laid there on his side, not knocked out yet but not well enough to immediately get back to his paws.

Jury shot Judge a dirty look as the Pancham shot past him and charged into yet another flamethrower from the Vulpix. Pancham braced himself for the flames, after their previous battle, he knew what he was in for. As the Fighting-type burst out the other side, he slammed Mirzam into the ground with a Vital Throw. As he stood over the Vulpix he said, "Real strength is about fighting with honor, you're just a bunch of bullies who use your strength to hurt those that are weaker than you. Earlier today, I saw Sly battle a Totem Pokémon with his Steelix. They didn't just beat him, they hurt him bad - Tapu Fini herself had to stop them! Then Sly met another human, and they said they were planning to beat Tapu Fini, too!" Pancham said, recalling the what he'd witnessed earlier, before concluding, "That's not how Pokémon should use their strength!" Jury rolled his eyes again, this time at the Pancham, while Judge tilted his head and considered what the Pancham said. But I just battled the way I always do with Sly... The Steelix thought to himself. Pancham
Mirzam shakily got back to his paws. He knew his fur must be getting super dirty by now and that made him even more angry. He narrowed his eyes in a glare at Pancham. But when he spoke, his voice was laced with confusion. "What's a Tapu Fini? And a Totem Pokemon?" This being his first time on Alola, he had no idea what any of this meant. His tails swayed again. "YOU'RE the weakling! 'Honor' is something made up to control you and make you stay weak! The strong are meant to devour the weak!" He refrained from attacking again so soon because he wanted answers.

Normally Mirzam's statement about the strong devouring the weak would provoke Pancham, but at the moment he was too befuddled by a question the Alolan Pokémon never imagined he'd hear. "'What's Tapu Fini!?' She's the Guardian of Poni Island! Like Tapu Bulu here on Ula'ula. How could you not know of them!" The Pancham stated in disbelief. "He's not from Alola." Jury stated to the Pancham. "You can tell because he's a Fire-type Vulpix, rather than an Ice-type." "Oh." Pancham said, still a little confused. "I was wondering how a Vulpix could use Flamethrower." "Oh yeah! Selene and Sly learned about this in Pokémon school!" Judge chipped in, excitedly. "They're called, uh, 'Very Regionals.' See, Vulpix from Alola are Ice-types because they live in the snow on Mount Lanakila and Vulpix from other paces aren't because, uh, I think they live in volcanoes." The Steel-type was little confused about the last part, so he decided to get ask an expert's advise, "Hey! Fire-type Vulpix! Do you live in a volcano?" Pancham
Sapphire gave a nod to them in accepting the invites to the BBQ that her parents were making. "Alright, I'll see you later then~. Hailie, you can follow me to my house, maybe you can ask my parents if they had seen your brother. They had to do some shopping today for the BBQ." She said and then started to lead the way to her house but she soon stopped when Ruby spoke up again talking about the ducklett. That's right she need to check up on the ducklett but she need to get the pokemon out of the pc. " Oh right, I almost forgot about the little pokemon. Looks like a detour to the pokemon center is first before we head to my house Hailie." She spoke out when she looked towards Ruby and then back to Hailie before leading the way to the pokemon center. Once at the pokemon center, she went over to the pc to withdraw the ducklett. She pulled out one of her pokeball, placing it in the spot to transfer/deposit her pokemon in exchange to take out the ducklett. Once the exchange was complete, she picked up the pokeball and turned to Nurse Joy at the desk. "Nurse Joy can you give this ducklett a check up to make sure everything is alright with it.""Of course I can" Nurse Joy spoke as she took the pokeball from Sapphire, then she turned to Hailie. "Is there anything that I can help you with before I go?"

Mirzam growled and was about to snap a response, but Jury beat him to it by answering that Mirzam was not from Alola. Mirzam thought about the Yuki he had fought earlier, which must have been one of these snowy Alolan natives. The Steelix added to all of this. Mirzam huffed in annoyance. "No, I don't!" He had never let his eyes wander from Pancham. "But you're about to!" he exclaimed before unleashing another Flamethrower.

Ruby followed as she took the route to the Pokemon Center. Her Pokemon were fine, having already been to a center earlier and suffering no damage from the fight. When asked if they needed anything else, she shook her head. "I just looked over my Pokemon. They are fine and need no check-up right now. Thanks for asking." Ruby took a seat and waited. She was wondering what was to be done with that little Ducklett now. No doubt her cousin did want to keep it. "So cousin, you gonna keep it?" She asked her as her Pokemon sat down next to her. She handed Kitsune some food and he started to gobble it up caring not for manors.

That sounded good! If anyone stood a chance of having seen Dan, it would be Sapphire's parents, for they had been out shopping. Not that Hailie expected her brother to be found in any normal place like a store. He was always out having adventures, and that's why Hailie wanted to hurry and find him and join him before she missed out on anything cool! She already had a story of her own to tell him, about having Glaceon stolen by a thieving arsonist but then recovered by two talented coordinators. "OK!" she said with some excitement. Food was starting to sound really good, even if she had to face several new strangers to get it. Sapphire remembered the Ducklett she had captured out in the jungle and wanted to go check on it. Hailie accompanied her and Ruby to the Pokemon Center. Sapphire exchanged one of her current Pokemon for Ducklett's Pokeball, and asked Nurse Joy to check it out. The Nurse agreed, and then asked Hailie if she needed anything. "Can you please check out Glaceon to make sure she's OK?" Hailie asked. Glaceon, who had been outside of her Pokeball the entire time, jumped up onto the counter to allow the assessment. She felt physically fine--it was only her mind that took a ruffling during all that had happened--but she would do this so that Hailie could have some peace of mind, too.
While the Pokemon were being checked out, Ruby asked Sapphire if she was going to keep the Ducklett. "You should keep it!" Hailie said enthusiastically to Sapphire. She didn't know anything about the Ducklett yet and if it would be compatible with Sapphire's personality and lifestyle, but Hailie was always excited for new Pokemon friends and that applied to seeing other people acquire new Pokemon friends! And if these two girls became Hailie's friends, then the Pokemon would also be her friends! Speaking of friends: She watched Ruby's Zoroark as he scarfed down food. "Thank you for helping me out back there," she said to the Pokemon. She had already thanked Ruby and Sapphire for their help, but wanted to thank the Pokemon, too. They had done the heavy lifting, after all.
Location: Malie City Pokemon Center with Sapphire, Ruby, and all their Pokemon. Wearing/Possessions: Mint green sleeveless shirt, pastel yellow shorts, pink and white sneakers, pink and red backpack.
Nurse Joy gave a nod to Ruby and then to Hailie "Of course~, Audino~." Audino comes walking up with a pokeball tray, Nurse joy placed the pokeball onto the tray. Then she turned back to the Glaceon and gently picking it up then heading back to the examination room with Audino. Comfey had then floated over to Hailie, placing its flower necklace around her neck. It had sensed that she was still a little frazzled upon coming into the pokemon center. Comfey wanted to help Hailie relax as Glaceon gets checked over.
Sapphire watched Nurse Joy take the pokemon to the back to be looked over. When Ruby spoke up about her pokemon being just fine and didn't need a check up, Sapphire turned to see Ruby still with them. "Ruby, I thought you would be heading to your house to wash up." She spoke up to her before going to take a seat also. Soon her cousin asked about weither she was going to keep the ducklett. Then she was a startled a bit when Hailie gave her enthusiastic input about her keeping the ducklett. Sapphire indeed want to keep the ducklett, not only because she needed the pokemon line to finish her album of fantasy storytale songs but also it's rare coloring of a shiny. It wasn't often that you would come across a pokemon of a shiny color. But there was one thing Sapphire considers for each pokemon, their thoughts and feelings. "I do want to keep the ducklett as I do need a swanna for an another performaces idea that I have been on the back burner for the longest time. But I consider it's thoughts and feelings first, I don't want to keep an unhappy pokemon. Yuki was like that when I got him resurrected, but I didn't release him because he didn't have any family to return to, at least not that I know of." She spoke honestly with some thinking at the end. "Besides that, I have a good feeling about it~, like it was meant to be. But I need to know for sure if this feeling isn't wrong."

Pancham Pancham stumbled backwards as another Flamethrower came his way. He was pretty sure he could beat this Fire-type Vulpix, but recalling Sly's battle with the Totem Kommo-o, the strange Vulpix didn't seem that important anymore. Whatever 'Team Rocket' was, they seemed to be enemies of Alola and its Guardians, so for now Pancham decided it was best to get away while he had the chance. He called out "You'll regret joining them, you'll see!" as a Parting Shot and fled to the nearby trees.
Ruby stretched a little. "I was but now I kind of want to see how things go with the Ducklett you know?" She gave a cute smile and a wink. She listened to her explanation intently. "I am glad you feel that way about it. It will be interesting to see what happens." Ruby was happy to hear she wanted to see how the little one felt first. Normally Pokemon seems fine just to go with whoever caught them but sometimes it was good to see. It was also good to hear how sure she was that this was meant to be. Sometimes a gut feeling was more accurate than one would assume. "So what is this Idea you have?"

The Pancham fled, but not before telling Mirzam he would regret joining them. He didn't care about the Pancham's asinine opinions, so why did it cause him to feel some sort of pang or jolt through his body? The sensation passed and he shook it off, figuring he had just been too riled up. He snorted. "Pitiful coward!" He called after the Pancham, though he could no longer see him. Mirzam turned around and kicked dirt in the direction Pancham had gone as though he were burying trash. Then, head and tails held high, he trotted over to Team Rocket Lady and sat down beside her.

Hailie watched as the Nurse took Glaceon to the back. Then a strange Pokemon that looked like a wreath of flowers floated over and put a necklace of flowers around Hailie's neck. She watched with widened eyes. As the flowers settled about her, she began to feel calm and peaceful. "Hey, thanks!" she said to the Pokemon, smiling. She gently stroked some of the flower petals.
Sapphire explained that she did very much want Ducklett, but also wanted to know for sure that it wanted to come with her. Hailie fully agreed with that. It was so mean to force Pokemon to do things they didn't want to do! She would only ever catch Pokemon who wanted to be caught, and never force one! Something Sapphire said drew a curious look from Hailie. "Resurrected? What do you mean?"

"That's better, now that the little pest is gone, isn't it? Thanks for driving him off." Monitor said to Mirzam. "That Vulpix is a way bigger pest than the Pancham." Sly snorted. "Ridiculous, Vulpix here's been a big help. Though it wouldn't hurt if he learned to do something other than spit fire everywhere." Morticia commented back. Then to Mirzam she added, "I know a few moves that will really round out your arsenal. "Are you really going to let that little pyro hang around?" Merrimack snarked as Monitor's phone went off. "Would you shut your mouth for a change? I need to check this message." The woman shot back. Then she smirked as she added, "It's from Marguerite." "You know what? Let the walking fireball stick around, between you and her, there'll be plenty of witches to burn." Her male partner snarled.
Monitor shrugged off his remark as she texted Marguerite back. 'The day's had it's ups and downs. I found a potential mark, but not much worth the trouble yet, Despite some help from a KANTONIAN Vulpix of all things. Can't wait for you to get here.' Monitor glossed over the details of her day. She'd certainly be glad to hear Marguerite's scientific opinion on the vampire she'd seen, but certainly wasn't going to ask unless the lab tech could see the impossible creature for herself. Though Monitor wouldn't mind if see never had to see such a thing again.
While Monitor was texting, Sly's Steelix approached Mirzam. "You're pretty tough, Vulpix. I'm called 'Judge.' It's a name my original trainer gave me. And that's 'Jury'" he said nodding to the Umbreon, who turned his gaze toward them but kept his distance. "Sly gave him that name."
Mirzam wagged his tails and raised his head higher when Team Rocket Lady thanked him for scaring off that Pancham. He would have done it regardless, but it was nice to be thanked for his contribution! He shot Sly a glare when the man called him a pest, and then his ears went back when Team Rocket Lady said that he should learn to do something other than spit fire everywhere. What else was an angry little Vulpix to do? But then she offered to teach him more moves and his ears perked back up. When Sly continued to argue, Mirzam gave him another glare. He was distracted when Judge came closer. Mirzam stood and faced him, prepared for another fight, but instead the Steelix complimented him and introduced himself and the Umbreon. He wondered what he was supposed to do with this information, but then a tickle in the far back of his brain reminded him that he was probably expected to give his name, too. And he would, because he was proud of it. "I'm Mirzam. I picked that name myself," he said, puffing out his chest. "Soooo... are we allies now?"
