Favorite Dress up item(s): I'm not sure I could pick! After taking multiple long hiatuses, there are soooo many new items I've been a little overwhelmed. I'm really diggin all the new arm/leg mods though! What inspires your avatars?: Usually just a random item I have! I've only made a few myself since being back - a lot of others I've had other people make for me! What you hope to get out of the guild: I just really appreciate all the skill people have for making avi's now, honestly. We've come so far from the typical rally look lol A little bit about yourself (can be anything, as short/long as you like!):I have quite the zoo at home! My fiance and I have dogs, cats, some mystery snails, snakes, and geckos. I love to paint and draw, and I've actually been going to school for such - I think thats why the avi feature on this site draws me back. Theres something therapeutic about building something and making it just perfect. I'm finishing up school currently (one semester left!!), and just started a brand new job working on marketing/sales stuff for a local artist who makes ceramic jewelry. I'm hoping with the new job, I'll have more time for things I enjoy, be that that playing around on here or doing other random things. Yes the avatars have come so far! I recently came back from a 10+ year hiatus in April and was amazed at how much changed. Just the fact that you can layer so many items blows my mind. I'm still trying to learn about using cutters properly. Your house sounds fun but also a lot of work. I have 3 dogs at home and some fish. Not sure I could handle any more pets lol! The new job sounds awesome!

I dont really have inspirations for my avis, recently ive just been making them on a whim ig? or more like if i see an item i rly like, ill build an avi around it lol
but i cant make as many avis as i used to bc im always twinning with my bf, but i still try to make my mule acc quite fashionable hehe ;v;
Welcome! I am kinda the same way with my avis...I don't usually have a set design in mind. Having contests and color challenges really helps give me direction.

How long you've been on Gaia: I've been here since 2008, but I stopped being active around 2014. I only started being active again early last year.
Favorite Dress up item(s): I'm pretty open to most items, though I always use a lot of makeup items. I spend a lot of time putting the face together.
What inspires your avatars?: I guess whatever I'm in the mood to wear. I like cute and fantasy outfits. I'm also a sucker for monster and alien girls.
What you hope to get out of the guild: I guess inspiration and to possibly meet new people who enjoy making avatars as much as I do.
A little bit about yourself (can be anything, as short/long as you like!): I'm a gamer. I play a lot of JRPG's. I'm also a writer. My books tend to be either fantasy or horror. Welcome! I am super picky about how my face looks and spend ages picking out the perfect eyes/lips. I like the alien girls with the oni skin (the dark pink tone). I have seen someone in art freebies with a colorful character with that skin and I am super envious of it.

Cutters are SUPER confusing to me but I’m thankful for all the guides and I think they’re really cool! It makes it so you can customize so much more now Yes and no, lol! Dogs and cats are way more work then reptiles honestly. there is a fair bit of daily cleaning around here, but I wouldn’t trade this life for anything else though, I love animals and my zoo makes me happy whee Thanks! It’s different that’s for sure. I was expecting to be hired on as an assistant and able to help more with the process rather than just the marketing side. After working in fast food for six years it’s been a great change though, haha!

How long you've been on Gaia: I joined in 2008 (I think), stayed for a few months, and then left for a looong while. Somehow, I remembered my password and I came back a few months ago! While I'm not super active on the forums, I'm online nearly every day.
Favorite Dress up item(s): I like too many! But I love working with backgrounds.
What inspires your avatars?: Honestly, I learn from other creators, but then I also work with items I find interesting and build from there! I also like to think about a background story for my avatar and that helps me create.
What you hope to get out of the guild: I'm terrible at responding on forums and holding conversations, but I'll be there for contests and ghosting! I love a challenge and digging into people's invo.

I'm French but have been living in the US for the past 1.5 years. I'm a research analyst for the video game industry which is a job I love!
