The sun would beam down across his raven hair as he'd stare out to the arena with brighten gray steel eyes. An espada ropera to his left and an antique sort of magnum to his right, the waves crashing and tossing along the ship sent his heart racing with excitement. The metal of his musket gleam upon the back of his pirate's jacket, the student smile to the thrill of the scene. He has only ever read of such things being in novels yet the young knight was ever thankful for technology being advance enough to make this happen. Who could have imagined being able to safely flood an arena like this!
Zachariah felt like a true swashbuckler with his hands on the wooden carved ship's wheel, and though the ship was on a planned course for the moment you still couldn't beat that artificial winds in the sails; You could almost swear there was a taste of exotic fruits on the sea salt breeze. There was time before the ships would reach reach each other, so why not have some fun with the moment. With hat in hand the Little Rookie tried grabbing the attention of his opponent, waving at Hades, before giving a bow. Straightening his back, the little rookie began fishing out a small box of matches as he nonchalant stepped over to the cannons. Since the ships were given such fun weapons Zachariah place a confident foot upon one as he aimed it to his enemy. A quick strike of the match against the metal and the phosphorus was lit; Soon with it the wick of the cannon then the loud boom which followed the highly aimed warning shot missing Hades' boat.
What words could be said at a moment like this were oceanic waves would drown out sounds? Wasted breath wasn't the agenda for today, as what could be said better than what is communicated through louder action.
Hades was already gassed up he gets to fight in front of all his adoring followers but it was even more lovely than his opponent was thinking of similar accord. A pirate theme battle would be great! His true weapons are still unknown and he gets to have much fun. He was actually surprise Blair was there to cheer him on through the foolishness but she had her own agenda. Once that gave Hades a little more motivation to kick the poor kids a**. Either way, it was time to get started! Hades ship was customized. It had a black base with Red signature touches to the side. The cannons painted gold. His onlyfan's account was written on the side in gold paint because he was not about to miss out on advertising while in this fight! The pirate flag had a custom emblem on it, a 3 headed beast that glowed golden eyes. As the ship rocked a little from a wave of water, where was Hades? Zach would see he was not on the boat. Was Hades late? Yes yes he was!. "HAVE NO FEAR! THE GOD OF PIRATES IS HERE!" A voice would hell with all its lung power. Hades would be seen at the top of the stadium with rope in hand. The rope attached towards a panel that could be seen as covering/ ceiling but not as distinct. Even with the swing, he had a good distance to clear to make it to the boat. But, Hades was sure he could make it. Considering the boat was still near the edge of the crowd. It was not fully at sea yet! .
Swinging mightily on the rope, he would swing himself onto the ship's main deck with ease. A miscalculation was there but in a good way. If he had overcompensated he would of been in the water. He was dressed shirtless with a holster strapped to his chest holding his flintlock pistols (8 to be exact). A cutlass was strapped to his waist and he had on thick black boots and black pirate pants that were more tight-fitting. Almost as if hew as an extra from one of those Disney movies. Waving back at his opponent, he was in full character. " YOU DARE TRY TO ATTACK THE PIRATE GODS! I WILL FEED YOU TO THE KRAKEN YOU NO GOOD SCURVEY INFESTED SNAKE!" [b/] Hopefully there was no Kraken. Or hopefully there was!!!! Hades figured his opponent was just as crazy. More over the top the better!!
A shot was fired. He missed. Did he send out a warning shot? He dares taunt a god and think he was going to get away with it. Baffled but such a mistake, the diety was going to have to put him in his place. As the boat moved closer, he would augment his canon with fire dust. The idea? Explosive rounds! Smiling, he moved to the edge of his ship and put a foot on the railing like a bad a**. "JUDGEMENT WILL BE SWIFT. MY ROUNDS ARE LIKE MY PASSIONATE NIGHTS GENERAL. EXPLOSIVE!!!" The cannonball was aiming straight for Zack's ship. If he did some quick maneuvering it most likely could be dodged but one needed to wonder what happens if an explosion goes off in the water by the boat. is it like a mine? Does it just become a dud? WHO CARES?!

Eyes stared at the blonde as she wiggled her way through the crowd, were they staring because of the black and purple tiger trailing at her side or because of her cheerleading outfit? It was perhaps a mix of both. Blair however paid no mind to the lingering eyes on her from as she strut her way to her seat. She had gotten distracted with the time and hoped she had not missed the beginning of the fight. As she entered into the spectator area she was met with a sea in the arena with two pirate ships. Ooooh Hades is going to get a field day from this~. But Still may not be the best thing he does today. She thought to herself with an amused smirk. Their outing at the beach the day before had led to interesting conversation, mostly she was able to let out various things that had been on her mind, but, she had made him a deal: if he won, she would be his exhibition prize. A wise move? Well, in this case it was actually the right call. It was however still up to him to decide.
Making her way to her seat she smiled as she saw another head of blonde hair, someone she had met one her first day reuniting with Hades, Ryker. Hades little flirt protégé. Greeting the male she handed him a sign she had be carrying, one of three in reality, she held one while Cereby the Tiger held the third. Even though they were here to cheer on Hades did not mean that they could not have fun and tease him. Each of their signs read amusing sentences, some positive towards him, others more negative, all in good fun. The God known as Hades was too superior to let such “petty” teasing ruin his mood.
As Blair cheered for her god of sexy, she couldn’t help but notice the shocking amount of females around. Was it just her or were there a higher percentage of girls compared to the previous fights? This was not that shocking considering Hades landed on a ship with his fan page evident for all to see. It was fortunate they did not seem to have any grimm to fight for Blair’s bloodlust would be high as she resisted the urge to put those female “simps” into their place. The only reason she held back was because of Hades. He said she had no reason to worry, so, why act out on it? He enjoyed having his fans, the spotlight, but she was the only spotlight he would ever truly give attention to, the rest was just fun and games to fuel his ego… if it could be fueled at all. It would seem…. Blair was not the only one holding up her type of sign. The others noticing this sent her a few dirty looks but Blair ignored them. She was here for Hades and only Hades.

Zachariah de La Vallière
The entry by rope was a nice touch, Zachariah thought it was a cool idea, but honestly the black haired knight could have done without the advertisement. A roll of the eyes and the show goes on with Hades taking a more forward role in this fight. He was certainly a guy for the spotlight while Zachariah noticed the fan base of the place switch up a little. "It must be nice to be so popular with the ladies." The curious young man thought, he himself never really being the playboy type, let alone be the type to so boldly to have himself open like that; The secret romantic not finding interest in collecting hearts but more so finding one he could devote himself to.
Even with cheerleaders on the sideline for his opponent, Zachariah did not lose focus as he simply smile a cocky smirk to the other pirate. Rather than steer his ship to avoid danger Zachariah let it flow with its current course, the boats at mid range facing starboard to each other, as the pirate in black lit another match. From behind his ear, and hidden within his thick black hair, Captain Zach would take out a slow burning small piece of rope and set its embers on to brightly yet slowly burn. With a swift reach to his side Zachariah would drastically cut the fuse of another cannon using his spanish style rapier, augmenting the ship's weapon with a dust of wind before using the slow burning rope (slow match) from his hair to ignite the very short fused cannon.
Zachariah had gotten a good feel for firing thanks to that warning shot he'd given earlier, and with his knowledge of the cannon's trajectory the pirate in black would aim his cannon low to a part of the enemy ship's deck. Fire dust would have given a devastatingly cool effect to any cannon shot, but Zachariah's shot was meant more for speed rather than spread damage. Before Hades' cannon could shoot a cannonball would destroy the floor underneath it, causing it to fall while its shot was still loaded and about to release.
"I'm not impressed, M'lord!" Zachariah kind of liked playing the role of a villain as he dodged his own cannon like a matador, taking a smooth sidestep while the ship's weapon had gone flying back due to the added pressure during the wind blast of dust, but just as any good villain he couldn't help but smack talk with a smirk. "Surely a god can do a lot better than that!" Taking the small slow burning rope Zachariah would light another cannon fuse to fire a normal shot to Hades' ship, time to counter just as equal as before yet Zachariah wouldn't let things be that simple. While the cannon would take its time to fire Zachariah would take aim with the musket rifle, flipping up the long iron rear sight as he'd keep watch on Hades; Waiting for his next move.
WELL, this was going to be obvious that Hades was not the best with canon projectory. It probably comes to the fact his projectiles are launched by kicks and he was close combat type of person. The pirate ship battle would definitely be in Zach's favor but once on that ship...new story. Hades remembered something crucial. Why was he firing these things when he could throw them? He could lift 1k.. the cannon balls weren't even 100lbs. "Duh" he said to himself before his boat rocked. The impact of the cannon ball causing his shot to go off and create a miniature fire below deck Well, that was not good. He figured he least be to the other ship before the sinking occurred so there was no use to change tactics. However, how stupid did Hades wanna be? He liked doing unexpected things! With his semblance, surprises were hard to come by as well. .
He would throw two dust crystals out and have their effects activate. It was gravity dust and wind dust. The gravity dust to lift things and make em float while the wind dust formed a hyper tornado like current within its range. So why Hades did this? He was making a natural cannon. In his head he hoped it worked like the cartoons. While using his semblance passive for a defensive eye and having his aura up, even if it was drainful, he would quickly start launching cannonballs with his strength at the wind hyper tornado made of dust. His idea? The cannon balls would enter into the tornado, be lightened by the gravity dust before violently spat towards the opponents ship thanks to the wind. Zach was not the only reason he had his aura up. There was no guarantee the wind would only shoot the cannonballs at Zachs ship so he had it up in case one came flying back at him. With his plan in motion, he now waited see if it would work or not.
"YOU WILL BE, ONCE THINGS HEAT UP!!"

Zachariah asked for more and he got it. It was confusing at first as to what his opponent was thinking but once both set of dust were uses in unison he could see a cannon ball being launched wildly into the sky. "I see. A temporary air cannon for his ammo. That's better." While the raven haired student was slightly impressed by the sudden change in tactics he thought it wasn't going to be enough. The violent wind tunnel would occasionally smash a cannonball through his ship it was somewhat unreliable, causing Zach to duck as a shot flew just pass his head. Yet while Zachariah would take shots from the musket he'd notice he wasn't doing much damage thanks to Hades keeping up a constant aura flow. To that Zach was hoping his cannon would have retaliated but just as he did to Hades, the floor underneath the cannon had been shot out, causing the weapon to fire within Zach's ship; Though no fire within his pirate ship, happily thought Zachariah.
The ships were about to reach each other, so clear was each pirate in the other's sights, and this gave Zachariah the opportunity he had been waiting for. Running across the ship's deck with his hands loading fire dust into his musket, Zachariah risked cannonball and wooden shrapnel flying around him as he'd crouch and make his way behind cover. Barrels and boxes protected Zach until he reached the stern of the ship before taking aim across his own boat. Rather than simply shoot at Hades wouldn't it be more fun if the attack had some more bang behind it? With a single shot of a fire round Zachariah ignited all of his remaining cannons on his ships side to blow apart Hades' ship and force him over onto Zac's banged up boat. "It's sink or swim ya Bilge rat! Sink or swim!" As the cannons would unleash their barrage of cannonballs Zachariah would tuck away the musket to ready his other gun in hand; Preparing for Hades to board before attempting to blast gunpowder at his opponent.
That was the high analytical IQ of Hades coming into play but it was also covered by the stupidity of his head. No one would think to do something so wreckless but matched with his semblance he be able see danger coming if one balls came to try and deck him. Matched with his hyper mobility, it was a potent combination for a retaliation. Still things were just getting started! Range was annoying. He needed to get in there. Get closer!!!
Closer was what was happening! Zach did not even have to ask Hades to get closer. It was what he wanted to do! They could not fight on his ship because well... it was on fire so Hades would have to go to Zach's ship. As he would light his remaining cannons, Hades saw that the boarding planks were already being set up. Not missing a beat, as Zach would look up and wait for the barrage of fire he would see Hades already halfway across coming for that a**. "Sorry, there only so many ways I like to get wet and by a sinking ship is not one of them!" He stated as he drew one of his flintlocks from the harness on his chest. It was loaded with ice dust. Not even bothering to worry or care if he tried to shoot him or not. Hades wanted at least a trade out of this. He would let it bang, aiming for Zach's leg. 7 shots

Hades rushed on the gangplank and Zachariah fired but the shot from his hand cannon, the antique looking magnum, missed the pirate by inches; As if seen where the bullets would be flying with a heighten sense of sight. To his chagrin Zachariah blasted the plank instead of his opponent, shattered wood flying about as Hades drew in close. With no time to reload his hand cannon Zachariah withdrew the gun to his side holster to instead draw the reaper. Expecting them to get real close, a surprise gun attack caused Zachariah to stop his own rush before it even started. The ice shots got Zach jumping around like he was dancing something totally new and unpopular, the pointed crystallized ice making sure he takes steps back to dodge the dust empowered bullets. With careful steps and two slashes which deflected oncoming bullets the pirate in black managed to gracefully dodge the slew of bullets.
Zachariah bowed with a smug smile as he took center stage on his ship, but the fool forgot the cannons he set to fire. A mighty loud thunder filled the arena as all cannons let loose one Hades' ship, blasting it to all hell as ocean waves along with the force of the blasting caused Zachariah's ship to massively tilt to one side for a moment. With the ship leaning to the side Zachariah lost his balance and ended up falling down to the cargo hold through openings in the middle of the ship meant for raising a lifeboats. With a loud crash Zachariah groaned as he took to hus feet and dusted himself off, taking note of his surrounding as he picked up his borrowed blade. "Damn, that sucked. I can't believe I slipped like that." Noticing the supplies for all the cannons and dust down bellow Zachariah made a note of it before adding some wind dust to his musket weapon for a counter attack. Aiming his rifle upward where he last remember Hades standing Zachariah would let off bullets wildly to let the high piercing bullets puncture holes through the ship and hopefully get his opponent above deck; Maybe making him dance just like Hades had made him do before his sloppy fall.
The match would begin with a rather fanciful start. One contestant was on his ship, but the other seemed empty for a moment...before a spotlight would shine on Hades in the rafters as he proclaimed himself the god of pirates. He would took a rope and swing himself towards his ship. Many watched in silence as the rope was obviously not long enough to reach the ship. The self proclaimed pirate king would let go at the near best time, using the momentum to have his body soar through the air and stick the landing onto his elaborate ship. The crowd roared in cheers at his entrance to the match, and for sticking the landing. He wouldn't know it at this moment, but his little stunt had earned him a few more people for what he was advertising on the side of his ship. While most times the crowd would go for the rookie, his entrance and highly customized ship had many cheering for the savior of sexiness. The crowd especially liked how both contestants were clad in pirate attire and weaponry; clearly playing the part and leaning into the theme in a good way. As the little rookie fired a warning shot, the announcer would speak. "The first shot has been fired! While only a warning shot, the self proclaimed Pirate god is not going to be taking this sitting down. After his great entrance, can he follow through in this match of pirates or will the rookie shine?" The announcer would proclaim excitedly and end with a rhetorical question as Hades would make his counter. Or attempt to at least. As the two pirates would prepare to use their canons, the little rookie seemed to have great aim and fired his off first; hitting right beneath Hades cannon and sending it below decks...before it would fire into Hades own ship!
Fire and smoke would begin to appear below decks as the ships continued to draw nearer to one another. Hades, having seemed to fall back to the little rookie, got creative though. "I can't quite believe what I am seeing but the Savior Hades has made an air cannon!" The announcer would say as Hades cannon worked; while not the most accurate, cannon balls were sent flying at rapid pace to the rookies ships as people cheered to the sound of splintering wood and cannon balls impacting. There were some misses, of course, but most hit their mark. One especially seemed to return the favor; hitting beneath a cannon to cause it to fall and shoot within the rookies ship. While no fire this time, it did cause a round of cheers as the crowd was on their feet for this match in excitement. More than a few women having signs up specifically for the little rookie and Hades. The little rookie would run across his ships, small cover for him as cannon balls were still crashing against it and wood flying. He could see the fires of Hades own ship had spread and were reaching the upper deck already; it was not long for this world. As he lined up the perfect shot with his fire dust, he would see Hades was already halfway across the deck as the barrage. Taking his shot, the little rookie would miss just barely and instead hit the plank instead; destroying anyway back, not that Hades would as the flames were creeping up the masts at this stage.
Taking advantage of the closer range, Hades would fire off ice dust round at Zach and force him to dance to avoid the creeping ice that went after him from it. At first, the rookie seemed fine...until his own cannons fired. The force from all of them firing, combined with the already rough waters, tilted the ship enough to knock the rookie below decks with Hades keeping his balance. Some of the crowd, those favoring the rookie at least, gasped as an internal camera panned to revealed him prone on debris down there. As he loaded air dust and began to fire where he thought Hades was, the crowd saw what he could not; Hades had already moved on and was headed to him. What followed was a heated duel between the two of them; Hades old ship sinking partially as it became a shipwreck and the two trading blows and gun fire. The fight continuing up into the rafters of the rookies ship as they continued their fight in true pirate style. Bullets flying, blades crossing, and more than one occasional dirty move; they fought as flames began to race up the rookies ship; a fire being lighted on it from the other ship and the munitions store of his own being ignited. It got to the point both opponents were forcibly knocked from the rafters in the rough waters below as fire consumed the final ship. "And there we have it folks! Both pirates' ships have rejoined the depths of the sea, and both of them treading water. What do you have to say for the match, who should win?" The announcer would excitedly say and ask the crowd. There was a resounding cheer for the match, and a very mixed voice on who should win. It seemed about even. "And there we have it folks! Our first tie of the competition! Give a round of applause for our two pirates." He would announce as the crowd cheered happily, both being able to see signs with their names in the crowd. Both even seeing some hearts and kisses shown to them by their new fans. A few motor boats would come out to pick up the two contestants from the water and take them back to be treated if needed. {OOC: Fin)
There would be another wait between matches as the stage would be set, though not as long as some of the other ones. "I hope you've all have enough time to do what you need to because the next match is about to begin. Today, to follow up on our last match, we bring you another tale of piracy. A pirate queen has been betrayed by her crew, and seeks to get back the ship that is rightfully hers! She will have to fight through former crewman all the while dodging canon fire as she attempts to make it back to her ship for a final dual with her old second in command, and reclaim her title as the pirate queen. Today, we bring you Cottontail Jones!" The announcer would give some story to this next match to help build crowd investment into it. Making it a bit more than just a fight and more of a story unfolding. The crowd gave a hearty cheer, still in good spirits from their last match, and watched with smiles as Cottotail Jones would start off on a jet ski on one side of the arena. At the other lay a pirate ship decorated with a feral looking rabbit figurehead on the bow of the ship. It sported a black flag with a rabbit skull, a half eaten carrot in its mouth. An array of cannons seemed to line the deck of his large ship, and a warning shot was fired in Cottontail Jones direction. "Let this tale of revenge begin!" He would say, timing it for when the warning shot had been fired. As soon as it was said, a motor boat would appear from behind the ship and begin racing towards the pirate queen; manned by a three man crew, all decked out in pirate attire. Bullets would begin to be fired from flintlocks in her direction, and the main ship in back continued to fire canon balls. Too far to be accurate for now but that may change in future.
The waters of this arena are not as rough as before, with the wrecks of the two prior ships still present on the field to act as cover if need be. {OOC: Deal with the first wave.)
Blair couldn’t help but smile as she watched Hades’ match unfold. She knew him well. She knew things about him that had never been shared with anyone else. Behind that godly aura of his was a being who was truly enjoying the fight. The show he was putting on was as much for him as it was for the crowd. She knew that in the end, he did not care too much what others thought about him. If they praised him, they praised him, if they hated him they hated him. He did what he wanted because that was his desire. He was out living life to the fullest, something she still struggled with doing herself. Being around him had helped mold her out of her stuffy nature she was raised into, but there were still moments she struggled letting herself loose. As the battle neared its end, both ships sinking into the water, she stood and silently left the crowd, not before petting Cereby goodbye, a note for Hades attached to the feline’s collar. Would Hades watch her match? Blair hoped he would. She had told him she had signed up for a fight. However, he was his own god and could do as he pleased. She could not wait to confirm if he would or not, she had to prepare for her own little “show”.
------
As the stage was set up, Blair prepared herself, dressing up into a fashion worthy to be called that of a Pirate Queen. Her blonde hair had been highlighed earlier that day shifing from blonde, to red and at the tips black. Since her hair was still growing back to a long length, she had required extensions to be placed to allow it to be longer. Strapless black and red top covered her torso leaving her abs exposed, her scar exposed. She was a pirate queen after all. She needed to show her fair share of battle history! On top she wore a long sleeved kimono inpsired jacket, also of a black and red tone. Around her waist she wore a black semi armored skirt with various red and gold chains adorning her. Her legs she bore opaque black thigh highs and on her feet a pair of heels. She didn’t care what the scenario was, what her environment was, she could fight in heels so why wouldn’t she? Besides they have proven in the past to be quite the weapon when used with certain kicks. Oh and one last detail, a black and red eye patch over one of her eyes. Yes it would hinder her vision but she wanted to make things interesting.
For weapons she was offered a selection from a variety of pirate themed equipment. She chose two axes designed for primarily boarding ships, but when joined together became a sort of double bladed staff. As a fire arm she had two vintage styled pistols, both capable of firing not only bullets but also contained a mini harpoon she could use to climb and pull herself. At last she placed 4 dust filled black grenades, all filled with fire and explosive dust.
------
It seemed she had prepared herself just in time. Her name was about to be called. Placing herself on the jetski she waited, as instructed, and the moment her nickname was called she revved the engine and burst out entering the stage. Her hair flowing behind her as she spin in a few donuts for the crowd. Unlike Hades, she planned to put on a more of a silent show. she would speak her “revenge” through her actions rather than words.
With the announcer officially starting the match Blair seemed to run from the ship following her, but with a swift motion performed a drifting u-turn and began to head directly towards the ship. She was not going to run. She was not a coward. As cannons were fired she did not flinch as their aim began to improve. She had a plan in mind. It was risky, but this was for show was it not. Defensive aura active in case a bullet took aim, she waited for a cannon to be fired accurately. Once it was, she lept up from her jet ski, spinning in the air as she kicked the canon ball, her semblance activating around her shin, causing an mostly invisible explosion to shoot out inches before the cannon ball reached. Her idea was to shoot the cannon ball back at the ship, hopefully she had the strenght to do so, and even if she did not, she was confident she would at least keep the cannon ball from hitting herself.
As she finalized her kick she pulled out her pistols, her right arm firing out a harpoon towards the mast of the shipping to reel herself in, as she fired down at her enemies with her other pistol.

┏━━━━━━━━┓ Aurelia Hayes ┗━━━━━━━━┛ ✬Deputy Head Mistress of Beacon Academy✬ Shadow Education Minister✬
Aurelia nearly facepalmed when she heard the title 'Hades the Saviour of Sexiness'. She couldn't decide if this was better or worse than Rachel nearly eating some of the students. As far as she knew, Hades hadn't made any advances towards any of the students, but still... She would need to find a way to keep an eye on him. And Zachariah. Hardly her favourite student after the incident on his first day at Beacon. She hopped he manage to do well for the sake of Beacon pride.
Zachariah made a big show of waving his hat, bowing and then pulling out a box of matches. Aurelia tried to keep in mind that the Exhibition was a show, and the participants were rewarded for showing off. Out in the field, broadcasting your intentions like that could easily get you killed. Hopefull Zachariah was smart enough to know that and was only showing off for the exhibition. Hades was laying it on thick as well, but at least he was calling himself a pirate God. A large step up from the saviour of sexiness, in Aurelia's opinion. Watching him swing on deck with a simple cutlass and revolver like the pirates in the stories made the whole thing feel like they were watching a play instead of a duel. Though she groaned audibly at his mention of passionate nights.
A cannonball, glowing with fire dust, was aimed towards Zach's ship. Sharp eyes watched Zach, Aurelia wondering how the student would deal with the situation as the fuse counted down the seconds to ship exploding. Slicing off the fuse and using wind dust to shoot the cannon before it could fire was certainly creative. A fire started on Hade's ship, but he didn't seem concerned about it. "What is he doing?" She asked out loud to herself after Hades threw down gravity and wind dust on his own ship. The answer would come in the form of chaos, as he started lobbing cannonballs into the tornado created by the wind dust, causing said cannonballs to whipped out at high speeds in random directions. A move that was as much a hazard to Hades as it was to his opponent. Honestly, it was a miracle that either ship was still floating by the time the ships came together and the gangplanks were lowered.
Close quarters combat was Hades strong suit, and any advantage Zach had was now lost as the security guard charged across to the ship not on fire. Zach charged to meet him, but a round of ice dust had him quickly retreating. Then all of the cannons went off.
The ship violently rocked sideways and suddenly Zach vanished below deck, but thanks to the cameras, Aurelia could still see if actions on the screen. Firing from below was a double edge sword, as it would alert Hades to Zach's location. Instead of firing back, Hades decided to join Zach below deck. An epic sword fight began, the two trading blows in a theatrical manner which made it difficult for Aurelia to gauge Zach's skills as a huntsman. Perhaps a lack of situational awareness as the pair continued to duel while the ship burned and sank around them, but again that could be for the show. Finally, as a tie was announced and intermission began, Aurelia had to settle for some lacklustre notes.
Zachariah had exhibited creativity and adaptability but could lack in situational awareness. Further evaluation is required.

As choppy waters continue to plague the water arena, and the two previous ships jaggedly jutting out of treacherous waves that lay between Cottontail Jones and her precious ship. The excitement of the crowd was unmistakably palpable when cannons opened fire. Some even at the edge of their seats as the announcer called out. "Look at Cottontail Jones go---!?" In the announcer's box, there would be sounds of a scuffle then silence for a short bit before a female's voice would be heard over the crowd, the previous announcer bound and gagged in the corner. "Shiver me timbers!!" The new, female announcer said enthusiastically in sultry accent resembling more Irish than Scottish. There was confusion before excitement as the crowd took it to be part of the academy's show.
Just as quickly as it had happened, it was forgotten; treated as normal as the crowd's attention returned to the show at hand. As the motorboat had made its way towards the jet skiing heroine just as she was being fired at. With each cannon blast slowly getting closer. Gasps could be heard as the dashing woman would jump and kick at the cannonball in the air. And though she would be able to slow its impact with her semblance (?), reducing damage the power of such force can do little to stop it in its tracks. Upon impact to the shin, Captain Jones would be projected down into the waters with it. It was right as that moment that the jet ski would crash into the wreckage of past battles. "Ooooh! That's gotta hurt, and enemy boat's a'gaining fast!" The female's voice announced, excitement and anxiety in the crowd of faces as tensions rise. "Let Cottontail hear you! Raise your voices for her! 'Shan't give up now!" She encouraged the crowd to cheer, to raise hope in Cottontail Jones to rise from the depths of the waters.
She had a ship and title to reclaim! But, they would not make it easy as the motor boat was closing in fast, few having abandoned ship into the waters after being shot at before Jones crashed into the waters. The tides seemed to turn as there seemed to be none left to captain the motorboat! "Guess 'tis no more smooth sailing for those boys!" The announcer would chime before telling to the crowd to call for Jones. All was not lost though as the harpoon had struck the single and main metal mast of the motorized boat; all Jones had to do would be to grab its rope and begin to pull herself towards ship, avoid farther cannon fire and make her way towards the shipwreck alleyway.
Silent gasps and whispers would float through cheers as underwater cameras would show, Miss Cottontail Jones was not alone in the treacherous waters. Oh no! Swimming at her fast would be the swarm of not one, but two octopi! Each the size of a great dane and eyes black as the ink they could spew! What will Jones do? Will she survive? Get through this obstacle and she could get to the her precious ship, reclaim what is hers! But be warned, as she neared the wreckage of ships past, she must use her skills to navigate the wrecked ships, and pray the sea goddess give her fair shake as the winds begin to howl.
All the while as many cheered for Jones' success, others were booing the enemies, while others cheered them on as well. The hype was real and it was just beginning.
{OOC: Git yer Arse on that Ship, you Scallywag! The second wave is on the way!)
Blair was glad she had her defensive aura active the whole time, but even then, it did not protect her completely against the cannon ball. With her semblance and her aura active it did ensure she did not end up with any broken bones, however it did not stop pain from shooting up her leg, her aim shooting the harpoon almost failing from it. That’s going to leave a mark… The bruise that night was sure to be quite the scene. Sure she could have her aura prevent bruising as well, but the pirate queen did not want to waste it on small issues. Now she knew, that burst against such a firearm was not a good idea. Better test that in a safe environment like this exhibition than out in the real world where the unexpected as always there to take your life. She needed to truly work on creating bigger bursts….
As her harpoon latched onto the mast of the small motorized boat, her body crashed into the uneven waves. The cool water felt refreshing against her shin. It would help keep down the inflammation for now. Although Blair was bound to feel the thrubbing of her leg for the whole fight, she was not going to let it distract her from her task at hand. Clicking a botton on the side of the pistol, wheels turned as it pulled the rope bringing her closer to the ship. Something stirred in the water as she was pulling herself towards the smaller of the two boats…. grimm…. Of course they couldn’t have just left the fight to humans? Of all the fights was this the most elaborate? The most complex? Having to fight a group of “pirates” on moving vehicles on water wasn’t hard enough? They had to throw in grimm to truly make things fair?
Since the two grimm were coming at her, that meant they were also going in the direction she was going, the small boat. A sly smirk pierced her face as she knew what to do. The grimm could be used to her advantage. The problem…. they were coming in faster than her harpoon could reel her in. She could fix that. With a kick of her feet she unleashed a small burst from her feet propelling her further in the water. Forget about reeling herself in, that wasn’t going to be faster than this. With another kick and a burst released she would push herself out of the water and climb into the smaller boat ready to fight. The pistol with the harpoon left in the water for now. She was somewhat hoping it would get caught into something (like bits of the other shipwrekcs, a rock), or one of the grimm and give the small boat a harder time.
The moment Blair landed she engaged in combat with an ax in each hand, defending herself from the three on the ship while fighting back with slashes from the axes and kicks from her feet. She had no intention of staying on the small ship long though. Her goal was to get to the big ship, while getting rid of this small problem. As she fought the three traitorous pirates she attempted to kick one, or maybe even two, into the waters for the grimm to have their fun, all while preparing for her means to escape, but she needed to get closer to the main ship. In the middle of the fighting she would hit the motor so the small ship would head in the direction of the big pirate ship. Hopefully all would go well, but with the other ship wrecks in the area and her dealing with the three men and even potentially two grimm as well, she did not have the luxury of paying fully attention to the trajectory.
The crowd was going wild from Cottontail Jones' quick thinking; rather than fighting the two very normal, yet large octopi, she would quicken in her attempt to get aboard the motorized boat. Genius! But, one should not underestimate the eight-legged creatures of the deep. They were gaining fast on her tail. "My my, that was close," The announcer said with relief, as it was a close call; had the burst not been used, she might've been entangled in the suction cups of death.
"And she's made it aboard! Great Job, Jones!" The female announcer shouted before the fight would begin. An interesting development of three look-alikes seemed to put on quite the show. Rain and thunder churned the waters as the fight continued; two behind and one in front. A kick landed with enough force to knock the man down...And disappearing into wisps of of aura. Upon the second disappearing, the last remained shook his head and jumped ship; gaining laughter from the crowd. "That yella' belly seapup! Jones has secured the ship!" The female's voice exclaimed, the excitement of the crowd ever growing before quieting down once more to enjoy the show.
Tides churning, rain pouring, winds howling; these were not looking like fair winds for the revenging Pirate Queen. She could get the motorboat to work and it was a fair water-lass, but even an expert would have a hard time seeing in this sheet of rains. "Shipwreck, ho! Eyes peeled as Cottontail Jones must now navigate Shipwrecked waters to get to her revenge," The announcer told the audience. As Blair neared the wreckage of splintered ships big and small jutting out of the waters, the rain would lighten and a chilling fog would begin to mist over. Adding to the eerie foreboding even more was the strange quiet; of crowd and the outside. While inside the fog, Cottontail would hear the groans of the fallen ships, the louder ones being closest, and maybe even movement? Or are her eyes playing tricks? Maybe a Click here?...Maybe a Click there? Where would they be coming from? Whatever it was, she wouldn't be given the chance to think long as even the greatest of captains could have trouble. Everyone seemed to cringe as the sounds of nails on chalkboard SCREEEED over the mics. The boat jostled by something...!
*Cameras in the fog let the audience see the goings on inside the fog.*
{OOC: Send your Prayers to the Sea, this is going to be one Hell of a ride!)
As Blair fought and successfully dealt with the pirates on the small motorized ship, the tentacles emerging from the deep took some as captive and let her realize something, they were not grimm but just octopus. Either way it made little different to how she was going to go about the exhibition. Grimm, animals… they were both an unnecessary hassle to deal with, but animals were often just less persistent in trying to kill someone so there was that.
The Pirate Queen glared out at the motor on the ship as it fizzled and died, her right leg stomping on it again as if that would help. It was probably her kick that killed the engine in the first place. Sometimes she forgot just how strong her thunder thighs were. Seemed she was going to have to go to the main ship the hard way. Her eyes shifted to the direction of the ship, but the fog that came in during her fight prevented her from seeing the ship. Flicking strands of her hair over her shoulder she evaluated her options. Swimming was out of the question with octopi in the area. She could try and move the boat thereby making a makeshift row, but that was too much effort and too slow for her taste. Her fastest and best option, jumping her way to the pirate ship. She was a rabbit, after all, hopping was her forté, mixed with her semblance, she could move far quite swiftly.
Her mind processed this within a matter of seconds, and within that time the sound of clicking could be heard in the air. The thick fog kept her from seeing what caused it, but if the octopi were any hit to what this exhibition had in store, she would not be surprised if it were some sort of giant octopus, to pull a Kraken type theme. Though she would not have much time to think anything through. Whatever it was rocked the ship causing Blair to sway as she readjusted her balance. She needed to execute her plan now and quickly.
Without a moments hesitation, the instant she had decent footing, she lept up high into the air, her rabbit thunder thighs taking her as high as they possibly go, further than a regular human could jump. She wanted to get as far out of reach as possible and as fast as possible. The second she felt her body begin to suffer the pull of gravity she kicked down as if stepping on air releasing a burst propelling herself to the side, in the direction she had last seen the ship, her nose focusing on picking up hints of gun powder to help guide her. At the end of her bursts ability to propel her, she would kick again, moving in the air a few meters above the surface of the water in order to try and avoid being grabbed by whatever roamed in the deep.
Knowing the shipwrecks would prove to be potential obstacles she paid attention as best as she could with the few meters of sight she had so she could alter her direction with bursts to dodge as best as she could. If all went well, she hoped to arrive at the pirate ship, her axes in hand, ready to enter combat, while also avoiding whatever was clicking away in the water.
((Did not specify how many small bursts it would take her since I dont know the distance so I figured I will let the mod post decide how many she used so far to get to the ship. Considering time zones etc, i most likely will only post again on sunday, which would make next post most likely the last post))
