“Who…?” Mina was having a hard time following all of the events that were going on. There was too much talking that would’ve made it harder for her to focus under normal circumstances. But for the same girl to deal with all of it threefold? Forget it. The redhead found her eyes darting back and forth from person to person as the events unfolded to reveal a newcomer to the scene. Mina was entirely unprepared for the amount of people in the small clearing; in her head she was supposed to be here, training, by herself. The Genin had actually been proud of her secretive location...and yet. It might take her a little longer to piece things together, but Mina found the best way to process was to focus on the individual components.

First was the girl in front of her: Shikarie Nara. The girl with the long black hair didn’t look much older than Mina herself, despite being almost half a foot shorter than the redhead. Shikarie, despite the cacophony of noise, looked bored. Almost if this kind of thing happened in her life every dang Saturday. She was following the movements of the puppets with the same expression as she did watching the clouds go by, and Mina had to wonder how she stayed so calm and cool.

Next was someone who just barely flew under MIna’s radar. A girl, standing off to the side. She was bruised and battered, and the redhead wondered in the back of her mind why she was here. The new girl should be getting looked at by some kind of doctor, being beaten up like that. She had inhumanely pale eyes that seemed to be filled with...something? It seemed close to anger, but not something Mina was familiar enough to place a word for.

However, that new girl was only noticed by Mina as the Genin followed the trail of puppets. They danced and pranced back to the Academy and disappeared inside. Soon after they had been replaced by a single woman. The teacher (as Mina assumed by the woman’s use of the one word “Teaching) held herself with a regal and dignified kind of air. She unsettled Mina, almost making her skin crawl with this vague, ominous feeling. For a second the girl wondered how such an anime villain could even work with kids. “Sensei… what was even the lesson…?” Mina was starting to calm down. At least enough that her stunned expression became exasperated. “It just seemed like you were antagonizing some kids.”

However before she got her answer, Mina’s calmness disappeared. Within moments of the woman showing up, a bellowing roar made Mina jump out of her skin. As if on reflex, her clones dissipated into a cloud of smoke, leaving only the original standing there. The last player had arrived on stage, and it was some angry homeless man. No shirt, unkempt hair, and Mina swore there was some kind of smell radiating from him. His presence however, kept her quiet about such issues, but not enough to keep her hand from covering her nose. “It’s Minashiba Takatsuki.” She answered quietly, her voice muffled by her hand.

Masato seemed off. He managed to drag out his reply between some sort of tension the woman couldn't initially place the source of. Weird. What had his panties in a knot? At the most, the former, Mina clone cluster might have been what rubbed him the wrong way but Sadayo just wasn't convinced a two girls and a couple clones was behind his sudden outburst. She briefly furrowed her brow and sighed, defeated, "don't yell at the students." He already did a job of scaring one teenager as the other seemed far from impressed, if anything at all about Masato. There was something up about him.
From it all, Sadayo learned the multi-floored menace was complete and she was actually more interested in hearing more than what six words he could muster. The moment was a tad too hectic to hear anything else about his building progress so the thought was set aside on a mental sticky note for later.
Now, for a woman who usually prides herself on being the "observant" type, Sadayo didn't 100% register the fiery girl working her way into the area. Masato seemed to notice her at least. Nothing escapes him. The puppeteer's attention was likely still tied into saving herself from looking like a creepy stalker. The red-haired girl called her sensei. Teacher, a person one can learn from. Sadayo didn't fight with being addressed as 'sensei' since she she was able to manage a solid excuse: "Patience and levelheadedness in stressful situations among allies." The woman was doing her best to look levelheaded herself despite the glaring fact that she her puppets probably were really just irritating a couple of teenagers. Yeah, yeah, that idea sounds good. I'd buy into it She pressed the door open with the back of her hand.
"No one gets far if they're at odds with each other." A couple of hard-nosed responsibilities makes things a little stale from time to time. Her tone of voice was sounding itself from at least one of her more dignified titles. Grand. Stately, like she wanted to leave an impression that she what she was talking about. Sadayo tried to take in the reactions of both teenagers (consequently noting that they might have been graduates if not late bloomers like herself) and over heard Shikarie:
I didn't even notice he was there
Sadayo's highbrow, straight-faced appearance was thwarted by snort. A spry, snappy noise of a laugh she cut short. The girls were wrapped up in her Ningyōzukai performance anyway, as Sadayo had noticed herself, but the young Nara's mumbled commentary struck her as something hilarious all the same. Oh, how she wanted to laugh.

What the hell? She was not the kind of girl to be held back by something. No. She was fearless and always charge headfirst into things. Was she really going to let her parents death cripple her with anxiety? Hell no. Just like that, she was able to breath just fine and the tightness melted away. Deactivating her Byakugan, she took a step but paused as the man started to shout. Telling everyone to calm down. Who to calm down? What was he on? The man needed to eat less mushrooms that was for sure. Big dude asked what were their names. So he was including her? Let the other girls introduce themselves. Her arms crossed in front of her as she waited for her turn. They were here first, despite her anger, she does have a bit of mannerisms, if any. Mariko used to constantly reminded her that she lacked social skills. She doesn't lack social skills, she just doesn't care. Good grief, good thing Mariko wasn't here anymore. She didn't need anymore of the nagging and her screaming Komo every five seconds and the crying. Gods. The crying.

                                    Wait one fricking minute,

Was she missing Mariko? Hell no. Maybe. Damn it. How did that girl crept into her damn memories? Maybe it was because Mariko was her only friend... Alright. 'That's enough. Out of my head, Mariko.' Now was not the time to think about the blue haired girl. Enough plesantries, she made her way over and stood in front of the tall man, being five foot nothing, she could be easily kicked over like a damn football. Here goes nothing. "I'm Komo and I am here to learn how to become a shinobi and a killer and you are going to train me." She was determined and was looking at him right in the eyes. Her voice was strong and not a hint of nervouness. This girl really had no fear. Or was it that she had nothing to lose now?

Sitting upon the rooftops of one of the buildings within the Academy district, was a fiery-haired kid holding a steamed pork bun in his palms. With a casual glance, one might think he was simply having a snack. However... "Hello, my lovely~." His tone as deep and romantic as a fifteen year-old could manage, Ryu stared at his delectable steamed bun, rocking his best smoldering look. "Now that we are alone, I think we should get to know each other a little more. I don't want you getting uncomfortable when we get to the fun stuff." Ryu chuckled, bringing the steamed bun closer to his face, caressing its contour with his index finger. Whether or not the steamed bun was actually talking to him after this point was debatable, but Ryu carried on their little conversation as if talking to food was completely natural. "Oh, haha! These bazookas are nothing, dear." Flexing one of his arms, he'd present the moderately toned bicep for his... inanimate yet edible date. As much as he was enjoying playing around with his food, his stomach was starting to get the best of him. Hopefully the steamed bun wouldn't mind if he advanced things a little further. "You're getting pretty steamy. Why don't you tell me what's really on your mind?" The delicious pork steamed bun was before his lips now, with the full intention of letting it 'speak their mind' before chowing down like a starved maniac.

                                            CAN YOU PLEASE CALM DOWN.

A deep, booming voice rang from which the boy believed to be the object in his hand. Well, that was quite unexpected. Confusion hit him first, before pure shock came in with a right hook and took him completely by surprise: his steamed bun was a man! How could you deceive me like this!? I thought what we had was special? ...Still, I do find you to be tasty. During the scrambled chaos in his brain and initial shock, he ended up dropping the food from his hands. It was the lack of that familiar feeling in his palm which caused him to snap back to reality. "No! My sweet porky-bun!" His once lunch - or lunch date, perhaps - had bounded off of the roof onto the ground below. What a mood killer! There was no time for crying over a dropped steamed bun now, though... it could still be saved! "One... two..." Ryusei chased after it, counting the seconds as they passed by, managing to rescue the steamed bun in distress by the count of four. How he was able to reach ground level from the rooftops in such a time without recklessly jumping (which he may or may not have done) was questionable, but for Ryu, delicious food was stake. He'd rip the core out of the Earth and shove it into the moon - all in the name of food, wonderful food. "Bah..." A sacred rule for fallen edibles had been broken. Yet how could Ryu bring himself to waste such a tasty treat? It was still warm. Examining the food, he gingerly wiped away at any dirt it may have contracted. It was clearly safe enough to eat by his standards, and without taking in his new surroundings or current group of individuals standing by, downed the steamed bun in two bites. A single tear fell from each of his eyes, as he began to speak with his cheeks stuffed.

"I didn't want it to end like this. Forgive me..." Staring up into the clouds above, the boy continued to enjoy the savory flavors of his snack, only wishing things could have turned out better for him and his 'sweet porky bun'.

Masato glanced about, realizing his interrupted nap had been the reason for his...crankiness....which had definitely provoked feelings of unrest among the children. However, one of the children would cause Masato to snicker, breaking his mood. The girl stated that Sadayo was doing something more akin to antagonizing the children. "pfft." he released before catching himself, then realizing that the girl was standing before him and holding her nose as though she smelled something past it's expiration date. Masato raised an eyebrow, lifting his left arm and taking a quick sniff with his fox like senses. Smelled fine to him. Although it was highly unlikely he'd notice his own scent. Normally, Masato would smell of pine and smoke. Not from tobacco, but from the flames he used to train with as well as heat the tower on colder nights.

Having settled the idea that he smelled poorly, he turned his attention to a dark haired girl who seemed rather....barbaric by the way she carried herself. Even her demeanor. She demanded Masato train her how to become a shinobi...and a killer. He zeroed in on her. Her knuckles scraped up, bruises that seemed fresh all over her body, others that seemed to be turning light yellow as they healed. Masato didn't have much care for the idea of teaching someone who simply wanted to kill people, nor did he want to associate himself with those with evil intent, not unless he could change them. He sighed, wondering what he would do for a moment before speaking up again. " And what would you do with the power to kill someone?" It was about that time a red haired child stumbled before them, shoving a pork bun into his mouth, seeming to have really, really enjoyed it, moving to tears. Masato side eyed the ginger child with the briefest of glances before turning his attention back to the barbarian.

The reded girl asked the woman what the lesson was she was trying to teach them. "Patience and levelheadedness in stressful situations among allies." That was her answer? Shikarie stood there trying to think if that even made sense. "I don't buy it. But then again I don't really care." She thought to keep her opinion to herself.

As she looked to the sky to try and give herself some sense of peace a noise girl came in making demands. Her gaze left the sky and over to the new girl who stood before the man. She looked to be all battered up. Cuts and bruises everywhere. The girl announced herself as Komo and that she became a shinobi to get strong enough to kill. 'what in the world is this girl thinking?' she thought before speaking. Shikaire shifted her waited to her left and placed her right hand on her hip.
"I'm no expert but do you really this that is the best way to ask someone to be your mentor?" She was legitimately baffled by the blatancy of the girl. It's one thing to ask someone to train her to become strong, but to ask them to train you to be strong enough to kill. Shikaire didn't like her already. She doesn't really have the best motivation, but even she knows that if someone just becomes a shinobi to kill. Well, they are part of the problem.

The smelly man who's been doing all the yelling responded to the girl asking her what it was that she would do with the power to kill. Shikarie didn't really understand the question. To kill obviously? Wasn't that the point. The better question would have been who would you use this power to kill against? The answer to that question for a normal person would most likely be, the enemies of the hidden leaf. But, something tells her that the girl standing right in front of Shikarie had a different reason. Did this girl just have so much anger that she needs to release? Is it vengeance? Revenge? Who knows. Whatever the reason may be Shikarie already can't stand the girl.

Aaaand cue the ice breaker. Some red-headed boy came onto the scene spewing romantic dirty talk to a piece of food he was holding. 'Well, at least the mood will be lighter now.' she thought to herself. Being a Nara she was used to the akamichi clan's love for food, but this. THIS was on a whole other level. Surely everyone would notice him. I mean who wouldn't? That kind of strange intimacy with food couldn't just go unnoticed.

“Ryu!” Mina chimed when her friend came rolling into the scene. The Genin ran over to her, pushing the angry homeless man out of the way. She wrapped her arms around her orange haired friend and pulled him into a tight hug, picking him off of the ground a few inches Her and the Uchiha had trained before, pretty much immediately after graduation. Ryu was the offspring of a ball of sunshine and a mass of kinetic energy and the two of them hit it off from the first sentence. It had been a while since then, but the two definitely got a lot closer over time. And even though they probably just saw each other, Ryu was always a joy for Mina to see. “Did you come here to train too? Oh!” Mina dropped him and pumped her arms a little. Light seemed to radiate around her faintly, as if powered by her enthusiasm. “I got this new jutsu I wanna show you!” For a second it almost seemed like no-one else was there. Until someone else spoke up and brought Mina back to reality. The redhead looked up and around, the ninja’s body relaxing as she stood up straight. The voice was familiar and it made her wonder when this person showed up, as mIna never noticed.

Komoriuta stepped out from the shadows of the trees and she looked just as grumpy as usual. She was beaten and bruised and injured, which definitely concerned Mina a little bit. The two also fought, for a little bit. Mina knew just how fast Komo is and how hard it was to hit her. If she was hurt then it made Mina wonder just what happened to her. Mina tilted her head in thought as she sized her up. Now, to her, it was evident this was the figure she’d seen last time she looked around. Then the Hyuuga made her statement of wanting to be a killer, staring at the homeless man with such intensity that it made Mina flinch for just a second. The redhead sighed and shook her head. “Just as forward as ever.” She said as she placed her hands on her hips. Mina’s face was a mixture of confusion and intrigue. The whole proclamation brought the show to a stop. And even Shikarie commented on the abruptness of it all. “That’s Komoriuta.” Mina explained as she looked over to the first girl. “She’s….uhhh.” Mean, bitchy, blunt… “Strong and opinionated.” She settled on with a clearly forced smile. “But.” Mina turned back to Komo. “Why him?” She asked, hooking a thumb to the man. “Have you been asking every stranger you come across?”

Chakra: 500/500 x Stamina: 300/300

Paying as little attention as he could spare to the guardswoman's childish tantrums, Akuko watched as a far more tolerable man chided her and made her wait outside. Hearing him explain that the building was open to the public to use, Akuko nodded and replied, "Thank you," before making his way toward the library, guided by some long glances at directories and avoiding anyone and anything that would derail him from his destination. Entering, the cloaked man began to make his way around, checking numerous scrolls before having gathered what he would need. Most of them were admittedly basic fundamentals, but that wasn't what he was using them for. He needed to be well-researched, and diagrams were a necessary addition to his purely verbal and physical learning in his youth.

(Begin Training: [Phantom Limb Replacement])
Beginning the arduous task before him, Akuko unfurled and laid out the scrolls before him, delving into their diagrams and explanations as he jotted down crude notes and diagrams of his own on a folded-up sheet of paper that was already well-used. After a few minutes, he rolled the scrolls back up and returned them to their places, ruminating over his note-filled paper as he glanced over at his stump of a shoulder. The additional information and more in-depth diagrams the village had should fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle he had been working on for the past few years.

Breathing deep, he began to focus and center himself for the feat of control and capacity he was aiming to accomplish, soon stringing together a rapid chain of handsigns as his chakra materialized around his right shoulder. Branching off from him to recreate his long-lost nodes and pathway structure, it appeared at first glance to be a crude stick-like limb, but quickly changed as he poured more and more chakra along it. Swirling and threading and growing out, replicated bones gave it a solid foundation to soon wrap and bind chakra along to facsimile muscle and fingers. Slowly turning his focus toward the arm of chakra that had pushed the side of his cloak out along it, he began to try and bend it toward himself, and to his relief and excitement, it did move. Trying to move the arm back as far as he could, and roll his hand around and clench his fingers into a fist, it followed his desired movements to the letter. Wanting to really get to know the chakra-constructed arm's maneuverability, he stood up and swung the chakra arm out and around to see just how responsive it was, to which it rivaled his remaining physical one. Grabbing his scrap of paper with it, he folded it single-handedly and put it away in one of his pockets.
(End Training: [Phantom Limb Replacement])

Focusing with a sharp breath, Akuko severed the chakra flow from his shoulder and let it disperse more evenly through his body again. It was safe to say that his few years of jutsu theorizing and experimentation was a success, at least in everyday use, but hopefully it could stand up to the rigors of combat which he'd be able to test soon enough.

The beacon of sunshine and positivity that was Brother Mori skipped around through the village in the middle of the rather grim group of bandits. They all wore leather straps and had obtuse weapons like cleavers of crude construction. Brother Mori held a Tome of the Mother, the holy text of Evergreen's faith, to his heart with both arms as he skipped along. On his back was a backpack that held dozens of other Tomes of the Mother. When he saw the academy he immediately stopped in his tracks. From what he understood about shinobi villages, it was common for all sorts of villagers to loiter at the academy rather than just students. Once he entered the outside area where everyone was standing around talking, he made an entrance. With a deep inhale he screamed out joyfully at the top of his lungs. "WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO CHANGE RELIGIONS?! I HAVE A FREE BOOK WRITTEN BY EVERGREEEEEEEEN!" He jumped in absolute glee as he screamed out. Once he landed and glances were turned in his direction, he slammed his hand into his forehead. "Gosh dang it! Sorry folks, I got too excited! Gee, I really should stick to the approved dialogue. Anyway, my name's Brother Mori and the offer still stands!" As he went on his spiel, it was clear that one of the bandits in his cohort was getting sick of his high-pitched voice. She took a swing of her crude sickle toward his neck before he obliviously ducked to set up his soap box. He set his backpack on the ground as well so that his tomes would be easily accessible. "That's right, this book is free! No, you don't have to pay! You won't believe how much this book will change your life!" Brother Mori was gladly preaching in the area as he looked at each individual shinobi with exacting eye contact. He was then roughly nudged by one of the brigands which caused him to gasp and adjust his glasses. "Also! Does anybody know where I can find Brother Kazuto?! He came to this village and he has a white tiger!" The missionary continued smiling even as he nervously adjusted his tie. It was clear that he was not comfortable in that group but was doing his best to retain his highly-trained positive composure.

Sumika cocked an eyebrow at the entrance to the Academy as she sauntered up on the back of a massive Panda, before entering with a huff. They'd named the place after that Saegahara woman? You'd think Sanae had never existed with everyone else's name on all the crap.

Sumika was only really here to train small things, see if anyone interesting was around. Though she was technically still a Genin, so this would be the proper place for her to train. Cobalt's big claws scraped lazily on the path to the training grounds outside as she found herself a place to train and observe the comings and goings.

If it was possible to train anything at scale, Sumika would gladly. She wasn't against the idea of making a ruckus, but there was little of value in blowing the Academy sky high at the moment. Part of her was tempted, but she settled for rolling out the big scroll on the lazy lump that was her now napping panda instead. She'd finally found an updated version, but only about half the techniques were actually new. A shield, a relatively useless addition to her long since mastered Iron Bullet technique. Interesting, perhaps. They'd also canonized the movements for control of magnetized objects. Would have been nice if they'd saved her some flailing all those years ago. Bit late now. The last was quite a nifty offensive technique that she created in a simplified form on one of the training dummies. At least some of this stuff had some value beyond padding stuff out so the kids didn't feel like it was too stale.

SadayoSoga

|Clone-Joūnin❖|Puppeteer Specialist|A - Rank| Chakra 2,510/2,510|| Stamina|1,640/1,640|Lightning / Water / Earth|

Sadayo's pressing need to laugh was well on its way of fizzling out. The straight faced puppeteer was actually, typically very capable of holding her composure to bone dry expression on her face. Komo's serious, hell-bent determination wasn't doing its job to detract from her urge to laugh. One of those, werid rare moments where old habits couldn't hold their own against something that truly tickled her funny bone. First, Masato didn't have the spotlight and her obnoxious puppets appeared to have all the glory of the genins' attention. Then the boy, frantic from the roof above, scrambling like a starving rodent. His passion in the moment was just precious.
Following was the red head attempting to shove Masato out of the way nearly tipped Sadayo's composure. From Sadayo's perspective, Mina was shoving him out of any blip of whatever imaginary spot Masato had him without so much as a care in the world. It didn't matter that he had a noisy fall from a tree. They wouldn't let him bask in any five minutes of fame.

She swiveled herself around and walked back inside. Her distance from point A to B wasn't really more than a few steps behind the door but plenty enough distance to hide her. Sadayo's return came a couple seconds after to evidently present a whole new person who was just coming into the moment. Like nothing struck her sense of humor and had her on the verge of breaking face, Sadayo returns sporting a sly smile as she pretends to fix her hair with the stroke of a few fingers.

Thus enter a beacon of sunshine. A joyous scream of words came spouting from a green-haired boy who came out of no where! His topic of his delight and enthusiasm was one destined to claw excruciatingly over Sadayo's false smile. Evergreen. Actually, the noise was more like EEVVVERRRGREEEEEN! Odds were that the green-haired missionary was probably about to take a zealous dive into a long, "approved" spiel. which brought Sadayo's mind to wonder of which would be easier to put up with in the long haul? This or a toddler's tantrum? Oh, the latter of one's devout spirit wasn't all bad. Really. To her knowledge, the followers of Evergreen were small but surely ranged in all varieties from the garden-variety quiet follower to the harmless but annoying. After all, the Evergreen followers are just pushing a respect for plants, right? The local laws about being in someone's face over providing a lesson on religion were fine and dandy until arguably, noble teachings became ugly and violent.

Although loud, this Mori character appeared peaceful and didn't seem like the type to casually shank someone with a shiv for not listening. HIs armed company, on the other hand, were looking less like hired protection when one took a swing at the green-haired goofball. How'd they all get in the village? Did anyone else see this!? Sadayo sure saw what looked like a bunch of armed nobodies looking tired of the missionary. She could understand the sentiment of getting tired of someone. It's all fair and fine when the nerves are shook a little but an un-authorized beheading on her turf was far from acceptable. Who knows what could be when the missionary's luck ran dry.
When he met her sights, oh, Sadayo tried not to look too worn of the thought of Evergreen. He was just a missionary. A loud, harmless and annoying missionay, not the magic salad woman of green and glory, and didn't deserve the extent of Sadayo's disinterest. Her eyebrows did furrow, however, when she watched one of the armed nobodies jostle him for an answer about Brother Kazuto? The name almost escaped her if not for mention of the white tiger. Although, the missionary's body language was made her curious.

The answer to the question of Kazuto's whereabouts was kept concleaed behind her lips and touched on through a discreet look she gave her acclaimed colleague, Masato. Despite the previous gargled message from Lahlil which Sadayo could barely reason she wasn't willing to let the cat out of the bag concerning Kazuto's current standing with the village. She didn't know where he was, where he went, or why he was suddenly dubbed an enemy. Was it easier to just anger the missionary's armed help by not answering? If she didn't answer that could make things worse if she answered truthfully then, well, it was a can of worms. She turned back to the Missionary. "Not here." A vague answer but an honest response spoken in a indifferent tone of voice. "Now, go on, tell us all about the wonders..." and the volume of her voice dropped off to a grumble to widely bury the end of her comment concerning a 'talking salad'.

She anticipated a sour response to surface from the armed henchmen with her dry tone. Another glance, which wasn't exactly trivial in nature, went Masato's way. She had something she wanted to say but the matters at hand were far from unfolding just yet. Her work in the shadows were only spinning ideas 'what if' scenarios at this rate.

Komo flinched as she heard an odd noise and turned to only see it was Ryu. Crying over some stupid food. Her glare was so strong and powerful. 'If looks can only kill. He would've been taken care of, long ago. Though she had to admit, Ryu and Mina were both good fighters so they have about, 0.01% respect from this Hyuuga. She wanted to say something mean to Ryu but knew better not to do that in front of adults. Her attention was directed back to Masato as he asked her what she would do with the power to kill someone.

"Kill the ones that are responsible for my family and the cavern's death. Long story short, we were merchants. Traveling and we were attacked. I'm the only one alive." Komo had nothing to hide at all. He asked so she will answer. Then someone had the nerve to chime in, questioning her motives about her way of asking someone to be mentor, "Listen, pigtails, did I ask for your opinion? No." Once Mina was done shouting something at Ryu, probably something stupid, she could hear the red-haired had the nerve to try to defend Komo. "Nine hells, Mina, just say it. I'm bitchy." Komo knew she was and there wasn't going to be a damn thing to change about it. She was going to keep her heart as hard and cold as possible. Then Mina also had the nerve to question her.

"Honestly, are you daft? Byakugan. His chakra... it's amazing. She's strong too," Her head tilted towards the puppeter, "But with those muscles and scars, he's been through a lot of training and hardships. You don't get that just by lazing around." She added the last bit with sarcasm. Then it got loud. This idoit, rolled up with who knows what, Komo decided she had enough with stupid people and just kept her attention on Masato.

❝ Why walk when you can dance ❞

Konohagakure l Genin l Scholar l Medical l Yamanaka

Quote:
Despite being slightly chubby, this genin had barely made a sound. Of course, there was always going to be one or few people to notice her. How can an observant person not notice her? Slightly on her knee, her arms were to her side as it was useful to keep the camera steady. Up against the wall of the academy, she took picture of Ryu, her fingers slightly squeeze the lens as she zoomed in more as the red haired boy was chasing the food off the roof. Rapid clicks flashed before her eyes but there was no sound as she smiled to herself. Removing the camera from her eyes, she went back and looked at the pictures she took. With a smile, she removed the ones that didn't look too good and kept the ones that was perfect. The ebony Yamanaka stood up, her bare feet feeling the soft grass below, and watched the ones before her as she took the picture of red haired female, her excitement could be seen in the pictures! The way her eyes shone, it was as if her heart just jumped out with joy. The Nara on the other hand, who she hasn't got the opportunity to meet quite yet, seemed appalled at... someone? Despite being in the listening range, Inohachi was so focused on the pictures she didn't listen to what was going on. Then she saw her, a female, pure raw anger and she even took pictures of that. Not all pictures was to symbolize happiness and peace. There was dark sides too. Inohachi frowned slightly. What could happen that this girl, who might be the same age as her, be so full of hatered?

Was she going to show the pictures to anyone? No. Except, maybe to that same boy who chased down the food. Or to the angry girl if she outgrew it so she could see how far she came. Though, that food boy was still on her mind. How silly! Was he an Akimichi? No, couldn't be, after all, she lives with the Akimichi family. Who was more than happy to take her into their arms and fed her. Really fed her. Then the lady, a really pretty lady, a smile! Right on the trigger, Inohachi took few pictures of the woman. Now this, she might actually give to the lady. The plump teenager girl perked up as she heard a cavern was arriving to the academy. Oh! This was another oppitunity for her to take more pictures. She took pictures of the soliders. Tired and annoyed. Their markings.. was odd. They don't seem to 'fit' with the green haired man, was he the leader? She also took pictures of shouting man who seemed ot take passion on whatever he was shouting, she could see it in in his eyes. Her soul had skipped a beat, there was so much passion from him, she could feel her own passion of photography started to rise!

Ryu was still enjoying the bittersweet departure of his steamed pork bun when he heard Mina's voice from behind, "Hm?" He'd turn with his cheeks still partially stuffed, wide-eyed and tears starting to dry beneath them, making for an... interesting sight. Seeing Mina running toward him had a way of instilling both a sense of fear and happiness that caused his heart to stop and his stomach to turn at the same time. Since learning of her abnormal level of strength - proven by the mountain of a man she effortlessly moved to the side to get to him - Ryu had developed conflicting feelings that often left him more confused than when he's trying to count numbers using his hands. It was a good feeling to him, nonetheless, so he just goes with it. The tight hug, on the other hand was hurting him in more ways than one. "OhhiMina- aaaagh!" Lifted from the ground, he was now a helpless, squirming mess in her embrace. And a happy one, at that!

Ryusei was as red as the hair on top of his head when she finally set him down, sporting the goofiest look on his face. "Choo-choo!" No, you idiot. Not trains! "Oh, right. Yea! I was just... having lunch." Sad memories of the recent lunch date gone south filled the empty spaces of his skull, threatening to put him in a sour mood if Mina hadn't distracted him with a gun show. Gets me every time, bwaha! "New jutsu, eh? You should show me later!" Her enthusiasm was contagious, stars taking place of his irises as he wiggled with excitement. Mina was full of surprises, and always learning something new. Shortly after the two redhead's hyper-active greeting, Ryu noticed that Mina's attention turned to Komoriuta, and it was then he realized all of the other people standing around. Wait... how did I get down here!? The oddball blanked out suddenly, as if the nonexistent organ located in his skull was trying to solve a complex algebra problem. "And short! Like a stump - an angry stump." He came to, just in time to add into Mina's excuse for Komo's behavior. Only to (thankfully) have some weirdo intrude, talking about something called Evergreen.

Due to the horrifying images being replayed over and over again, of the possible ways Komoruita might kill him once they were away from teachers, he didn't catch much other than 'Evergreen' and 'free'. "Free samples!?" Ryusei turned to the man, with the speed of who-knows-what approached him and snagged one of the free Evergreens from his bag. Whatever this Evergreen thing was, it sounded delicious. So he took a big chunk out the book, and began eating it with the determination of Masato's father. The rapid chewing start to slow, and quite obvious to Borther Mori and the brigands, his facial expression was one of disbelief. "Oh... Oh, my gods!" Disbelief turned into confusion, then disgust. All while being moved to tears. Somehow he adopted the accent and personality of an angry British chef, coughing up some of the torn pages, sending them flying from his mouth. "This. Is. Absolute. SHITE. Glaring at brother Mori, he pointed directly at the book sporting a decently large bite mark on it. "Tastes as bland as the fawken goons standin' behind ya. I can't believe it..."

Aggravated, Ryu ran his hands through his hair, pacing back and forth in front of the group. "I want to know who the hell let you all in here with this crap." Taking another bite of the book, there was only a few chews this time before he spat it out on the ground, "Like, WHERE IS THE ZING!? He was staring at Mori and the brigands now, his arms outstretched to either side, as if awaiting an answer. "The sauce. The FLAVOUR? Ya come in here yelling and hooting like this shite is the bomb-diggity." His hands were flailing around at this point, causing the book to slip from his fingers and smack the lady with sickle right in the face with a thwap. It was clearly an accident, but Ryu was too emotionally invested in his rant to notice. "WRONG." Noticing now that the book had left his hands he boldly went to retrieve it, "AND YOU ALL." The hand containing the book fanned out, pointing to the thugs behind Mori - and accidentally smacking the sickle-wielding lady again before walking away, "You're backing this idiot? Did you not taste this shite? It tastes like complete a**. Go on. Try it. Eat it." From Mori's bag, several books went flying in the direction of the thugs, carelessly thrown regardless of whether the target happened to be the ground before their feet, their torsos, faces, or otherwise.

Ryusei took another chomp out of the book, "Disgusting. Would you like to know what I think of your silly Evergreens? The redheaded idiot spat the glob of chewed up and saliva-soaked pages at Brother Mori's feet. "Ptooie!"

Sighing quietly as an inadmissible ruckus blared through the walls, Akuko made his way toward a nearby window and looked down upon the gathering of children and...bandits? There were adults present, and no doubt they could control the situation, but he felt a twinge of responsibility and guilt to at least keep the children out of harm. Weighing his options for the fastest route there, he settled on the one that was by far the fastest and easiest, if a bit dangerous: jump. Stepping up carefully onto the windowsill, the cloaked masked rogue charted his course: out the window, to a tree, to the ground. Angling himself and giving a metered push with his legs, Akuko soared toward a sturdy limb in a tall thick tree, perching still above relatively silently if not for a brief rustling and falling of leaves.

As the fussy, unbelievably dense redhead caused an uproar, he grit his teeth in an uncharacteristic temporary loss of composure at the sheer idiocy of trying to eat something that was clearly not food and then immediately throwing a tantrum over it. Whatever the circumstances, he couldn't watch and risk anything happening when he had the opportunity to stop it. Pushing off again, he aimed himself near the boy into a position where he could act accordingly with immediacy, landing in a crouch as his cloak fell down around him, briefly exposing his bandaged torso and stump of a shoulder as it settled, before standing tall and featureless with his white porcelain mask obscuring his dour expression. Subtly shifting his stance underneath, he was prepared to defend himself and the young shinobi if it came to blows as he expected it to,and maybe he'd get a chance to really give his jutsu a proper field test sooner than he expected. "Mind your situation, boy, or you could end up getting more than yourself killed," were the only words of warning he uttered with a grim tone as he focused on the band of brigands.
