Meanwhile, Shawn Michaels would search under the ring for a weapon. To his luck, he found a lead pipe! Eager to cause havoc, the Heartbreaker would get up and slide in the ring, unbeknown to Abyss!

Although it was too late to save Edge from receiving the chokeslam, Shawn would make sure to attempt to get one back for the punch he had received earlier! HBK would run up to Abyss and attempt to hit him square in the face with the heavy lead pipe he had just found beneath the ring!
