Danaë would almost nervously move her hair, making sure that her right eye was covered. She still wasn't so sure about the scar on her face. While she was doing that, Narx commented about Tea. "Oh, I can handle tea, maybe we should go to a tea house one day." She hoped that he didn't notice that she wanted to go out with him more. He still seemed to know her much better than she knew him. She hated not having the memories. Her mind kept going over what she remembered. She needed to know, but the information wasn't something that they were willing to give at one time.

He then would compliment her, saying that she was as beautiful as the stars. That made her face turn extremely red. No one had ever called her beautiful, never mind comparing her to the stars. She would then take Narx's hand as he asked her to dance. "Of course I'll dance with you." Her face was still extremely red. She would then place her hand on his shoulder, ready for him to place a hand on her hips. She would then wait for him to lead the dance, however, if he didn't lead, she would.

Ivory would chuckle, his laugh was much deeper than his actual voice. "Apparently it's not just us felines, Noah and.. His voice would growl a bit, not even on purpose ...Feralis have the same issue." Ivory would look down at Noah, as he had fur all over his tux as well. He would look down at Noah. "Thank you." Ivory would then look blankly. He was ok with Noah, but they weren't at that level yet. Then again, Nova wouldn't know that as it was kind of a silent disdain for the wolf cub. Then Nova would drag him throughout, he smelled a familiar scent. It was that mutt. His mood would sour. He would have been able to finally get a foothold in the war of scents, but he was here, but he was with Nova, and that had to balance it out though.

Then he would be dragged towards Jessica. Nova might as well have a leash on him at this point. He would look at Jessica and wave shyly. "Hello Jessica, that's a lovely dress."

Kail wouldn't drop her cane. She needed it to get around. She then heard foot steps coming closer to her, in between herself and the one that smelled of wolves. She would flick out her tongue again, getting a strong whiff of alcohol. It was Ren. He was right, that there was no fighting at the ball, however, she had not meant to strike a student. She lowered her head. "I did not mean to strike him. I meant to hit the ground again. I got my footing off though. I do appologize." She would bow her head as an apology. "If you require a fight, I will have Aura class set up for fighting." Her voice sounded apologetic towards the one that smelled of wolves.

She would then raise her head, this time, using her cane to move forward, as it was intended. It went back and forth on the ground, the actual cane was white with a red tip at the bottom. She would then take off her skull purse and attempt to get it around Ren's ears without touching him. Then again, she was blind, so she could miss.

With Ivory and Nova coming over a smile came to be. The two looked cute together, she'd admit that, but Ivory didn’t seem super excited about it. "Hey you two, glad you could make it. You look dashing Ivory and cute dress Nova." Was that awkward? Jessica thought so, maybe it was going alone or the fact she was the team leader. But of it made them feel good and peppy she was fine with the awkward being alone thing. "I just hope Feralis doesn’t get into trouble. With the fight out the window I've felt we've been on thin ice." Though the thin ice was her own paranoia maybe it was shared by them. "But he's been assigned to us. You guys have seen him here? Please tell me you have."

Being on the dance floor was actually pretty exhilarating to say the least. The energy of the place was really the thing that kept him so excited. Even Zylah's flirtatious didn't seem to knock him off his mood. "What can I say?" He would start off with. The boy however kept his next witty comment to himself. Though his grin and the way he cocked his brow made it clear what or who he had in mind. Aaron was a bit of a free spirit as the dancing began. As the music moved, so did he move with it. Each hit of a beat, came a clap of a hand, a step of his foot, a snap of this fingers; nothing was felt unanswered. One thing was for certain though, he couldn't keep his eyes off the silver haired girl with him. There was definitely something different about it. Maybe he was already having a blast or better to say surprised. She was actually graceful in her movements, him knowing full well that her leg wasn't in the best condition. Yet she was somehow able to keep going, and she looked like she was having fun too. Hoping that was the case, kept a smile to his face.

Though sometime throughout their dance, something changed. Aaron peeked curiously as he would see her eyes shift occasionally. While he in turn followed her gaze, it lead back to the other members of their team. He wasn't expecting them to come out to the floor immediately. Lunia had her date to wait upon, this 'Jazz' fellow. Who ever he was sure did know how to keep a person waiting. Yet he wasn't going to be that judgmental to the guy yet. A book should be read after all, not just looked at. As for Char, he was simply going to give her time. She wasn't sociable to begin with, even if she opening up to the team, she wasn't going to do so to people at a ball. Especially right at the start. At least that is what he expected. "Don't worry about them. They will be sure to..." Before he finished reassuring her, he turned back when she exclaimed to wait. He didn't even get even get to realize what was happening before a Zylah literally crawled through his legs. It down right surprised the young man taking him off balance and having him land his butt on the dance floor. "Uhhh...wha... Zylah?!" He rubbed his behind a bit while turning to the girl who was just getting up off her knees. While his thoughts could of turned unlawful by the sight, it would instead be more shocked as she started literally plowing through other students. She was sporadic at times, but she was really seeking something. A sigh would escaped his lips as he would recall the paprika incident. Getting to his feet quickly he would go after her and in an attempt to stop things from escalating or to even know what was going on. As he past by fellow students who were taken aback by her, he would quickly apologize on her behalf. "Oh so sorry...she is just having too much fun! Yeah! She can hardly contain herself haha. " He elaborated urgently trying to catch up with the silver haired lass. For a person with a leg cast, she was damned quick he did have to admit.

He regretted it as soon as he said it. "nu-uh! Don't you even think about it!" he ordered. Too late. As soon as he saw her smirk he knew it was coming. A nickname. "I'm the one givin' out nicknames here." he smiled. Mr. Bafoon. That was his new name to her apparently. He knew it was all in good jest. He also knew that he did it to himself. "Pfft. Yeah right! Go as hard as you want to I'm too good!" he jokingly boasted. He crossed his arms showing confidence in his abilities of one-upping her whenever necessary. Staring the beautiful huntress in her eyes admiring how shiny they were he leaned in a bit much like their first meeting, but not as close. "If you want a war... I can give you one." he whispered. Her response to his question was one he expected. "Above my paygrade?" he questioned. He stood and went to attention. "Ma'am, I'll have you know that I'm a Master Chief Petty Officer of the Argent Armada. Nothing is above my paygrade!" he said smiling at her. After he stood at ease and took his seat he decided not to push the issue further.

Huh? Surprised I recognized you? Pfft! Ain't no way I wouldn't. I know those eyes anywhere" he said taking a sip of his pop and leaning back in his chair. While his cheeks were cooling he looked to Ridley. A flash of...something crossed her face. He squinted his eyes at her as if he was trying to read her mind. "Hmmmm." he hummed trying to get her attention. Eyes still squinting at her he smiled. "I know you must have a lot of pressure having this wonderfully handsome and enticing gentleman as your date, but you don't have to get nervous about it. You ain't gonna mess it up." he said. He was joking, but he was trying to pull her out of whatever thoughts she was having. They didn't seem like happy ones. "Alright, Adam, what's something that would make her smile or something?" he thought. A lightbulb went off in his head. Then it fizzled out...and lit up again! "Rid, I wanna say how much I appreciate you comin' here with me. My baby brother would faint from shock that I went to a dance with such a beautiful girl and my mom would want to talk to you all night and just hug you until you pass out. Or her. It's happened before." he snickered. "I really am lucky that I got such a pretty date." he smiled. He hovered his pointer finger over her forehead barely an inch away. He didn't want to touch her face with even the slight possibility that he'd mess up her makeup. "Worry lines." he said leaning in again. "If you have something' to talk about I'm all ears." he said tapping his right ear twice. "And I was told that my shoulder is pretty comfortable so feel free to cry on it." he laughed. It came off as a joke, but as usual with Ridley, he was serious.

"A proper lady? We live in a world where we merc monster made from literal darkness and negativity. A proper lady is a warrior." he chuckled. Face still contorted from the mere scent of the forbidden fruit he watched her. "You must be considering you could eat that so easily." he said shaking his head. "Nah. I'm playin'. You're waaay too nice to be the devil." he smiled. Returning with the fruit of evil, she complimented him in that pompous accent. "My faire lady, you are most welcome." he responded in the same manner. He saw her analyze the snacks littered across the plates. He watched as he small hands hovered over the pineapple and her dainty fingers pick it up. His eyes followed the pineapple all the way until she popped it into her mouth. Instantly he shuddered in his skin and and took adeep breath. "Just wait until I find something you hate. Then it's on and poippin'!" he said pointing his finger at her limply smiling.

Chloris was not deaf to the sounds of her teammates' reactions and asking if they were okay. As they stood back up, she would be lying if she said that hadn't made her a little dizzy, but she was fine otherwise and smiled to her team. "I'm alright." She then looked to Henryk as he had confirmed he too was okay, instead jesting about it. She smiled up at him, for their leader was not one that you could be mad at for long, if at all. Looking from Ella to Remus, she was glad to see them all in such high spirits. She thought Ella's and Remus's interactions cute together. And it would be amusing to see the bubble wrap on Henryk's horns, but it would only distract, she thought. Though she was not so sure about being dubbed the sorceress to their group, but shrugged, accepting it nonetheless.

When it came to the gift, she was very shy about it, she had not expected one, and the fact that it was from Henryk made her think it was a prank at first. Ella seemed to get really excited at the fact there was a gift. It reminded her almost of her younger siblings, which made her giggle a little. As she opened it with care, she closed her eyes and breathed in the inviting and familiar scent of sage and mint. Opening her mossy-green eyes, she looked to the herbs, and was surprised by the sap in the jar.

She looked to the ram faunus with genuine tenderness in her eyes, a small smile tugging at her lips as he explained the gift. She was sincerely touched by the gifts. Though to some it might seem odd, but to her, it was the most beautiful thing in the world. He had listened to her, even to the little details, when she had not thought he was.
"Y-you remembered and paid attention." She murmured, still a little shocked, it would seem. Then shaking her head with a sheepish smile as she looked to her friend. "Yes, much better than picking a flower. Thank you. I love it, Henryk," She told him sincerely pleased with the gift and at the gesture.

"Wait, didn't that mean that in went into the forest alone??" As the thought crossed her mind, she frowned up at him. "But don't ever go into the forest alone again. I would hate to lose you,"She told him sternly before thinking to fix what she said, blushing softly. "I mean, we all would." She corrected before hugging him with her free arm before stepping back. "Um, shall we head out for some fresh air," She offered, feeling slightly lightheaded at the moment.

As soon as the threat was made, it seemed the entire situation diffused rather quickly. The rabbit he had momentarily forgotten about had let go of his leg and stood between the pair of them, apparently trying to prevent them from fighting. What the tiny rabbit, in his mind currently, planned to do was beyond him. In fact, a casual gaze down at the creature made Feralis see he looked a bit more like a rabbit now. He could've sworn he didn't have buck teeth or a rabbit nose when he first saw him. He dismissed the thought from his head, not wanting to be distracted while he was in the presence of the snake. There was good reason he initially distrusted her, reason only supported by her actions. He had to focus in case she tried attacking him again, the rabbit could always be deal with later. He was itching for a fight even if it wasn't allowed, snakes were best killed early so they couldn't have a chance of causing harm later. At least thats how his pack would deal with them. Already his slightly intoxicated mind was thinking of where to attack her and how to use his environment to his advantage. A chair or two tossed, maybe the table, should distract her enough. She was fast, so he would have to be faster to beat her. He felt he could beat her if he fought her, it may be difficult when she had a snake hidden on her. 'That one needs to die first.' He thought to himself. He didn't know what type of snake it was, only that it would be dangerous to leave alone as a hidden weapon for her. It'd be two against one if he left it.

To his disappointment, despite not dropping his guard, the rabbit seemed to have convinced her not to fight him here. He let out a low growl as she claimed she wasn't trying to hit him. He didn't believe it for a second, it was too easy a thing to do to apologize and be forgiven with how humans or faunus did it. There was rarely a consequence or anything given up more than a few seconds of pointless speaking. Actions spoke much louder to him. So even as she claimed it was an accident and apologized while bowing her head, his guard stayed up in case of an attack as his glare remained on her. Still unsure whether she was actually blind or if that was an act, he didn't care though if she couldn't see it. He was not one to hide how he felt about things. It was then though that she offered something that he could better understand and something he truly wanted to do. She offered to fight him in her aura class, Feralis only now remembering she called herself a fancy name for teacher. He didn't know whether she meant he'd have to attend the class or they would just use the room as an arena. It hardly mattered. He was a wolf and she a snake, he was not going to lose or show weakness to her. Even if the terrain was foreign and stacked up against him, he never backed down from a fight. Ever. "I do. I accept the fighting grounds you chose and time. We fight without our semblances, but our weapons are allowed." He would respond, accepting her challenge in a tone that seemed to offer no compromise. He remembered his fight with the beta, how the cats semblance had saved him in his mind and prevented Feralis' easy victory. He was not about to have that happen again. He also wanted to keep her off balance. If she was the aura teacher, then she would learn to have to rely on her aura alone to survive. Like any natural creature would need to. It was only fair too, as she was determining the place and time. Both of them would be out of their element in some way, or so he thought she would be.

She then seemed to be done with apologies and went after the rabbit with her skull purse, using the cane again as a walking stick. Which could mean she was blind...but Feralis was not going to give her the benefit of the doubt. As she did whatever she wanted to the rabbit, he would look down at him as he bared his teeth slightly. "And don't think you are getting off so easily rabbit. I told you not to reach lower and you did. You used your legs instead of your arms so I can't rip those off since I didn't mention the legs specifically...but i'll think of something. It may not be as extreme but it will be some punishment. And when I do, you are going along with it. Got it?" Feralis would say, the more he spoke the more neutral his voice became...and given how emotion filled it usually was, it may or may not be more intimidating to the rabbit. With each word too he had lowered his head closer to the rabbit, till his bared teeth were barely a few inches away from his face. He would wait for a nod or response from the rabbit before moving his head away as he went back to standing straight. "I lost count of how long you were on my leg, but I think you got your minute. So your revenge has been done." He would say, believing the score was more than settled for the mattress incident and that the rabbit owed him now. Whether it was because of the rabbits semblance or not, he wasn't sure. Its not like he would take back his words though. He almost added something about touching him again, but he didn't feel like putting in the effort. The rabbit would learn what would happen if he did. Though his mind was focused on other things, he vaguely heard that the rabbit used whatever semblance it had when he was hugging him. Which was probably why his mind felt a bit cloudy and weird. He didn't mention it now to also test if he would try it again. 'Oh, he will be in for a surprise if he lies.' He thought to himself as an evil smirk appeared on his face from the thought.

It was then that Feralis would catch sight of the very thing he was avoiding. He saw Princess and Beta walking not too far away from where he was currently, heading to the human. Normally, he would laugh as he could tell Ivory was the one being led by Princess, the beta being on a figurative leash to his alpha. However, he was enjoying his freedom for now, and dreaded whatever favor Princess may ask of him. He was not eager to end up as chained up as the feline was currently, who had put the leash on himself by asking her out in Feralis' mind. 'The place is big enough and their are enough confusing scents I can still escape.' He silently thought to himself. Without a word to the rabbit or snake, Feralis would slink back into the crowd in the opposite direction of his group, trying to remain mixed in with the crowd and hidden. Which wasn't the easiest given he growled at anyone who touched him. He had no real destination in mind, just safely away from Princess. Once he felt he was sufficiently far away he would straighten up a little, hands in his pockets as he continued to walk. He didn't want to seem meek or weak, he just needed to get away for a while. He was tempted to even leave the ball at this point, but out of curiosity he remained for now. 'Damn, they were right by the food too.' He thought to himself. Food would've been nice right now.

However, as his mouth watered at the thought and he instinctively tried to find the scent...and while he found it he caught scent of something familiar, yet old. It was mixed in with so many others but he spent a minute trying to focus on it. It was annoying him how familiar it was yet he was having trouble recognizing whose it was. Instinctively, he began to walk to try and find the source of the scent. As it grew steadily stronger, with many wrong turns and dead ends due to the crowded area, he knew he should know whose scent this was. It was really bothering him now that he couldn't put a name to it, whatever the rabbits semblance did it was still messing with his mind. Still, not knowing who wouldn't dissuade him. He feared no one, even if he was following the scent to someone that hated him for all he knew. Finally breaking through the mass of crowds, his eyes quickly scanning as his nose led him. Now able to better distinguish it he noticed it led to a girl in a long dress and heels. She had white hair from what he could tell, and two white animal ears. He could not quite tell of which animal with how his mind was, but for some reason she was familiar. Never one to shy away, he would walk confidently to the person from behind her, his steps probably hidden by that of the crowd. If she had been facing him, he probably would've been noticed from a mile away. While everyone was fancily dressed, he was only dressed in a way others might call skimpy, but that was his style. He preferred as little clothing as possible. Hand still in his pockets, noticing she was interacting with another white haired individual who had an unfamiliar scent, he paid little mind. There were others around, sure, but he was tunnel visioned currently. He needed to know who this was. However as he was a few feet away from her he stopped in his tracks as his nose finally recognized the scent. His mind nearly froze, and he uttered the first name that came to his mind in shock. "Kendall..." His voice trailing away as soon as he said the name. The last person he had ever expected to see again...

Narx smiled at her as she brushed her hair over her scar. His hand gently reached up to hers to stop her from covering it. "You are beautiful. Your scars are a part of you and they are beautiful too."If she really wanted to keep it covered he wouldn't stop her though. He wore an eye-patch over his scarred eye himself, but this wasn't because he was ashamed of it, it was because it was a grotesque wound that recieved a lot of negative attention. He didn't like to gross others out with it, and he always was asked how he got it, but he honestly had no clue so it was just an awkward conversation. On the contrary Danaë's scar wasn't a hideous one, he had already accepted it as part of her. It was kind of bad-a** too."I am so down to go to a tea house. Whatever that is. You aren't joking right? That is like a thing?"
He had never heard of one, but it sounded awesome. Sometimes he wondered why he didn't know about simple things. Likely just due to his memory loss, or was he someone who actually never knew about it before? Either way all that mattered now was his relationship with Danaë. He didn't care for anything else. He couldn't have been more happy when she agreed to dance."Then let's begin!" He took the lead. A slow, but elegant waltz to the moonlit patio. He wasn't perfectly smooth or graceful, but he had the moves down well enough to be proficient to the outside eye. His foot would lag a little behind here or there, but it worked. "Dancing always looks easier than it is to do." He said as he fumbled a bit. "I'm much better at the acrobatics and break dancing sort of stuff I think. You're wonderful at this though! Your family values the traditional arts?" He asked. They really hadn't spoken much about their past lives. He didn't for obvious reasons, and so many due to that he never asked about her. He wanted to know more about her past. "Danaë. Tell me about your childhood." He would then set her up for a playful twirl before she could answer.

XXXThe night was already proving to be one that the young woman would never forget. Unbeknownst to her, the knight in shining armor that continued to stride by her side had a plethora of things in store for her. From the moment that Eli had asked her to go to the ball, she had been looking forward to not only this very day but this exact moment. It was already apparent that Cali was having the time of her life simply with the excitement radiating in her expression, one that was so foreign within the walls of the academy, and to their new teammates. Oh, how her mind raced at the possibilities of what they could do within this realm of orange and gold, washed over with the essence of autumn at its very core. Over the passing hours prior to this, Cali had managed to try on each dress in such a careful fashion. The material had to last, after all the work that Eli had put in to pick them out for her. Eli had pulled out all the stops, ensuring the fabric was both naturally more durable, yet still held such a stunning appearance ... So much time, so much effort. It was a feat not many would do, and there was nothing she could do to repay such a sweet gesture. For her, this meant everything... Even though everything crumbled at her fingertips, Eli had continued to bear the weight of the world to ensure she could be like any other girl... That alone, made this night all the more meaningful for her... A gesture and a memory that would forever be burned in her mind, and one that she would always try to measure up to.

Cali's own eyes would dazzle and gleam at the sight of her captains dress, especially in the midst of a curtsy that showed just how elaborate the medley of colors truly was. Truly, it was a gorgeous piece of art, one that was honestly too fitting for her captain. ... Though, it seemed that her captain both took note of and was quite shocked at Cali's own energy for the events unfolding. An anxious smile escaped her lips once the oddity was pointed out, and she immediately found herself beginning to retreat towards Eli's side once again. At the drop of a dime, Cali was already retreating towards her anxious and hidden emotions that they all knew so well. "O..oh. I... Um... I.. just really admire this sort of thing... You know... The beautiful colors, the exquisite clothes... The atmosphere.." The girl still had mighty high walls that her team had to climb, but they were getting there. Little by little, they continued to widdle, until it would all come down. Her cheeks retained a rosy hue as an embarrassed but adorable smile curled against the corners of her mouth, looking down at her feet. "I.. can't enjoy it, normally... It crumbles in my fingers... But Eli.." Words drifted off as her gaze shifted up to Nox for a moment, before turning her sandy hues towards the electric blues that she was so fond of. Tightening her grip on his arm, giving him a squeeze. "My creepy spider.. Never ceases to amaze, do you?" Honest and true, Cali absolutely appreciated and cherished everything he's done for her. Both in day to day life, but especially now as this magical moment unfolded. It was him and him alone that could create these moments for her, for them. That for just a moment, she could feel like any other girl, able to wear a pretty dress and go to a dance with the one she loved with all of her heart. Unlike anyone else, though... She had Eli, and was the luckiest girl in the world for that reason. "Absolutely.." As if on cue, he managed to spitfire another compliment that wrapped so delicately around her core. Rosy cheeks would deepen before burying her own face against his frame, masking her embarrassment from their captain. She loved every moment of it, honestly. It was honest and true to his nature, and their relationship as a whole. She wouldn't have it any other way.

It was for a brief moment, but Cali wanted to let her flustered expression die before showing her face to the public once again. After all, such red and pink hues didn't match the monochromatic theme of her and Eli's theme... Yet, he always continued to push and pry until she was completely red. It's what he did best, after all. Soft lips would suck in a deep breath, trying so desperately to calm herself. Her heart was racing, her mind swooning. It was her prince that could always cause her to experience such a medley of both wonderful and troublesome emotions. The same emotions that proved time and time again her own adoration for him. Another breath escaped her lips as the reddened hues began to diminish, and she pulled her face away from him to look up at both him and Nox, who were bouncing off her own idea for Yenna's whereabouts. It seemed that food was the only option they had to bounce off of, but it was better than nothing. "Then... Shall we..?" Cali's tone was once again hesitated, but she was still speaking. That alone showed how much she was beginning to improve in the presence of someone that wasn't Eli. With the three of them concluding the possible whereabouts, the trio would begin moving towards one of the many tables decorated with food, along with the splash of autumn that the entire theme had. "Dancing... You enjoy it too, Nox..?" Cali would ask with a touch of curiosity, turning her brown gaze towards their leader. Dancing was a form of art that was most special to Cali, and that was something Eli knew very well. Over the years, Cali had perfected numerous forms of dancing both as self-expression and to mix in with her own combat skills. Of course, she also tried time and time again to show Eli the ropes so that she could always have a partner. At first, it seemed like the boy had two left feet, but over the years, he had been constantly improving. Perhaps tonight, the two of them would have their moment in the spotlight... To get the dance they had practiced so long for, even if it was in front of so many people.

The trio managed to arrive at the table pretty uneventfully. It was a simple act of managing to squeeze past the other partygoers who were enjoying themselves just as much but weren't looking for their own lost teammate. Cali's own curious gaze began to look around for their rabbit-eared companion, realizing that she had no idea what their teammate would've been dressed like. In her search though, she managed to catch a glimpse of a woman of monstrous height grabbing one of the decorative plants and eating it, whether intentional or not... Watching her jaw open wide and tear it apart, it was honestly terrifying... As well, she was certain that she saw the familiar horns of a boy and girl that she had encountered at the cafeteria ... Though that sight instantly made her shrink at the thought, remembering what she had done to the rampaging boy. Now though, he seemed like any other student... What exactly was he, anyways? There had been so much going on, and so many people. So many stories unfolding, and fates intertwining. Tonight surely seemed to be turning into a night that they would all remember for the rest of their lives.

Ren calmed down as it seemed to have worked out in his favor that a battle didn't start. However his ears told him no lies when he could hear the threatening movements of Kail and tucked down, rolling away from her as he got up just in time for Feralis to threaten him as he whimpered a bit and held his hands up. "B-But I just didn't want to be pulled away by Kail, s-so I was just holding on for good measure!" He told Feralis before he soon spoke about the length of time while the Rabbit kept his distance from Kail and the snake she brought. After being scared witless by the fact he was so close to two predators, one acting more intimidating than the next with each action, Ren ran off into the crowd of people, he was using his light stature and his skills in free-running to leap and roll over people without hurting them, touching a few students long the way by mere accident. He looked behind him for one second to see if Kail or her snake were following him, not realizing he was running into the kneeling woman and couldn't come to a stop as he barreled head-first towads Rachel/

Danaë would let Narx lead, the dance wasn't very fluid, but that was fine. He was human after all, though that is one of the reasons she didn't want to bring him home. In Vale, the faunus human relationship was mostly on the mend, in Menagerie, they weren't too found of humans still. Danaë herself had issues with humans before she met Narx and Richard. They both respected her feathers, and her want for personal space. Even though she hadn't know Richard for that long.

He seemed very excited about the tea house. "Oh course it's real. They have a selection of teas, and they can tell you which ones will put you to sleep or wake you up." She would chuckle a bit as they went back and forth. The dance was nice. She wanted to get closer to him though. She didn't know why. She resisted her urge as he asked about her family wanting them to learn traditional arts. Her parents were just really supportive of things that they wanted to do. Except when Asger wanted to become a hunter. Danaë didn't see an issue with it. All the teachers at Beacon were hunters and academics.

She would then be twirled, and her face turned bright red. "My childhood on Menagerie was like any others. My parents, an Owl and a Falcon faunus, got together and they had 8 children. I'm closer to the middle than the top though." She would admit. Yes, her family was prolific when it came to having children. "They do a good job of keeping us together, they let us pursue what we wanted to in life. First I tried Dance, but I wasn't amazing at it. Then I learned how to make jewelry, which I'm pretty good at." She would look to her feather that he had on him. She had done a good job with it. When she molted, she would have to make him some more feathered objects as she remembered how painful it was to rip out one of her own feathers for him.

"However, when I went to school one time, I was attacked by a Grimm. That's what inspired Asger and I to become hunters." Her face would darken a bit, she was almost killed in that attack. It always left her in a mood, as she wasn't strong enough to defend herself. Even now, her biggest weakness was her strength in battle. She had to rely on others in order to make a truly deadly attack.

XXXSo it wasn't just her hearing things. Thanks to Kenna's own reaction, her own exclamation, Maria was able to decern that she wasn't going crazy and that the white-haired boy had, in fact, offered them a compliment. .. Now, coming from him, was that actually suppose to be an insult? Something about their constant bickering and flicking each other s**t at every moment, despite the girl's own efforts to keep the peace, made any sense of formality or kindness seem obscene. Meanwhile, Prism seemed to play a blissful ignorant role, thought the robot was far smarter than that. LED indicators would flash red for annoyance at Kenna's own remark towards him, before turning to a passive blue. "It is called giving one the benefit of the doubt, Kendall. Try it some time, perhaps you may be surprised ... Though.. Now that you mention it..." While the robot wasn't the best at perceiving emotion, because the robot itself couldn't feel it itself, it too knew that something was amiss. After all, Maria and Kenna were always up to something themselves. ... Honestly, it seemed that their entire team was that of mischievous scamps from different walks of life and different views, but all caused chaos in their own ways.

The robot continued to scan its own database, throwing together a series of digits before the text was sent to the one that Kenna referred to as drumsticks. For a moment, the lights on Prism would flash white, indicating that the message had sent. ... Only to flash orange a moment later, for a new message arrival. Perhaps it was Morti? "Morticien has been messaged ... However, before we part. We've received something..." Maria's own iridescent hues shifted towards her robotic companion, whose face was flashing multiple colors as it gathered information on the message. There was no way Morti could've responded that fast, could he? ... Or was he that hungry for attention? Curious gestures would motion weakly from the girl's hands, who grew ever more impatient to the fact that Prism was keeping something from her. 'What is it, Prism? What does it say?" However, despite her firm curiosity and even questioning the robot, her own curiosity was cast aside as Prism began walking them forward with red indicators. "I do wish that girl could sit still for a moment... This message is regarding her scroll." In the passing weeks, Prism didn't manage to learn a new trick. With all the annoyance and drama caused by these far from compatible teammates, a sigh filled with static would sound from the robot. That's right, Prism learned how to sigh, just because of how disappointed he was with this team.

It was each heavy step of the robot that grew louder and louder, ringing in her ears as reality began to fade around her. The colors of orange and gold, the classical jazz echoing so dully on ears that simply didn't want to hear it. Honestly, she shouldn't be here. The music was too loud, there were far too many people and too much noise... This dress left her cold, her legs and arms exposed. Not to mention, the countless gazes she got from the students who had never noticed the girl in the wheelchair that was followed by the large robot. This wasn't her click, this wasn't a place she belonged. While she had always thrived for the spotlight, it wasn't to be some out of place attraction... It was for pain, for glory, to show the world that she was stronger than anyone else. ... Not to look pretty for some guy or gal to ask her for a dance, after all... She couldn't even do that. It was hard enough to come back to the academy, to fight alongside others in the war against the grimm. At least with that, she could prove people wrong. At least in that sense, she had her own capabilities, and secrets held within Prism's circuits to put all those naysayers to rest. In the passing years, she had fallen from the pedestal she placed herself upon. A fearless huntress with no mercy, only thriving to show others that her team was the best and that together they could take on the world. ... Now, so many years later, she had been forced to accept reality as it was... That even if she could assist in the war against the grimm, she was no longer the girl she once was. In a place like this, among a friendly social circle for dates and dances, it... Just wasn't Maria, as much as she tried to conform.

The crippled woman had finally managed to catch some distance on her dear friend. The white-haired woman had already managed to apprehend the vampiric boy, making her point firm by poking up and demanding to know what he was planning. Really, once the woman put her mind to something, she just kept going without any thought towards others... Even when Prism asked her to wait, she had stormed off without a second thought. Then again, Prism had ignored Maria's own request, so perhaps everyone on their team was just terrible, even her personal help. Once again, Maria was merely an accessory to the unfolding situation. No purpose, no input, and no value. Simply strung along for the ride as her robotic companion, if it could even be called that, pushed her in pursuit of the feline faunus she held so dear. ... "Kendall, I asked you to wait for me." The robot would sound, annoyance quite apparent in even the staticed voice it possessed. Maria, however, would simply tune those words out. Each step grew louder, each second dragging out longer. Maria's iridescent hues stared forward blankly, head resting back against her chair as a soft sigh escaped her lips. She wasn't in control anymore, this was no longer her tortured night with her friend. No no, instead, once again, the wheelchaired woman was simply along for the ride. This ride, however, seemed to have other intentions for the crippled woman.

As the duo grew ever so closer, another figure stumbled into their path. A tall man with a head of silver, a matching set of ears and tails poking out prominently from his figure. ... This man was not at all dressed for the occasion, but instead sported an attire that seemed all too familiar with something keen in Maria's own past. The conversations of many, the music that rang so dully against her eardrums, it all sounded so distant .. So muffled, as if she was submerged deep within the solemn waves that consumed her life. "I have good news, Kendall. Your missing scroll as been located, and will be delivered by the end of the night." What did Prism say again? The robotic words of his were so dull.. Drowned out and lifeless, falling on death ears that were just out of range from hearing the context. Reality itself seemed to slowly etch to a standstill as each step was further and further apart, the clank of contact losing its once impactful tone. Gloved fingertips would begin to curl against the arms of her chair, signals emitting to stop Prism dead in its tracks. Maria's iridescent hues would fall to a dull and somber gaze, eyelids spreading wide as the details etched more and more into her mind, matching so vividly to memory. This man before her, reminded her so much of a dear friend she once had in her life... A young wolf pup, ready to take on the world by her side, even if she was so closely allied with a cat. A young wolf pup, who mimicked her own style, and went toe to toe as they trained so closely. A young wolf pup, who had given her a music box that was once so special to him, one that she would listen to every night before she cried herself to sleep. A young wolf pup... That was no longer the pup that she once remembered, just as she was no longer the fearless leader that he once held so dear. Those who had become mere memories of the past, or... So she had thought. "Fer..a..lis..?" Soft but so deeply strained words managed to escape her lips. A voice that was most certainly drowned out by the common chatter and music, but a voice that such an acute sense of hearing would surely capture. A name that much like Kenna's, was engraved so deeply in her core as a most cherished person. Somber iridescent hues would begin to shimmer as tears began to trickle so softly down her cheeks.

"Oh I'm sorry. Is it illegal to brood. Ken-do. Tch. Nevermind. Its not worth the effort." Ken-doll. That was what he was about to call the lion. Likely in due reference to what those particular plastic dolls had. Although it was a common referral to her when it came to addressing her these past two weeks. So to give up halfway through would have been another little surprise. Without so much as dignifying the girl by turning around the fruit juice he had in his hand twirled in the discount wine glass befitting of this campus budget soiree. He had leaned on his hand, an open palm over the railings in place. "Honestly I'm surprised you're still here. Would have fancied you to decide to get kicked out as soon as possible...I could just...eat...you..up." He enunciated each word, but rather it was an underhanded comment in saying the lion had been cutely tamed.

Flipping the wine glass upside down and moving slightly to the side, the contents poured over the side of the railing into the mostly the rocks and dirt and sad looking thing some might call a stream. Albeit simultaneously in doing so tiny sprinkles of the juice would do tiny splatters that would annoyingly get the edges of Kendall's feet and toes a little sticky and gross and maybe produce a small tiny stain on the lower parts of her dress. Whether or not he did this intentionally though wasn't clear. "I hate this shitty atmosphere. It reminds me of an even shittier atmosphere." Still refusing to look at the girl as he spoke a peculiarity in his speech distinctly absent in Kekekes and additionally lacking in that aggravatingly bubbly demeanor. Currently he was in a crap mood. Just like her. As they say, two poles of the same type repel each other. So Allister likely wasn't making her night any better. Yet the same question as to why he was sticking around could be asked of him the same.

Although he'd finally give a half turn of his head to notice that Maria had gone off somewhere, and he made it deathly apparent to try and derail any further interrogations and qwelling any slowly rising rage in the small but vicious girl by pointing out a responsibility. "But should you really be worrying about what I'm up to? Don't you have someone who you 'longed to be finally reunited with' to tend to. Seems she's taken an interest in someone. Not to mention the tin cans calling your name." Of course referring to Feralis and prisms almost morning alarm like beeps and boops regarding a lost scroll. Both of which Allister particularly had no interest in. He doubted indefinitely this would get the savage girl off his case.

He would then start a slow walk towards the dj station. Making it so Kendall would have to make a decision. In his seperation he would be looking around somewhat innocently. Although his gaze affixed to the power cord of the station. He'd then begin a mission. A mission to find the circuit breaker, or at the very least the power box that kept this place lit with all its lanterns. He may not be able to gain access to said power box undoubtedly, but he didn't need to with his semblance that of which no one outwardly knew about, not even the school. He'd take note that some of the more adult attendees despite the no alcohol for kiddos rule were sporting some potent beverages. It's not as if they were unfamiliar, growing up in a noble household such things were common, and making his way here, why loose lips that sunk ships were in seas of foam. So the thoughts culminated into multiple objectives of which he would sinisterly stand innocently. With a hand on his chin. "Can't have a dance if there's no music, can't make a wish on lanterns that won't light, can't have endless beverages if they're spiked, can't have best dressed if all dressings are stained...and can't have a king and queen if there are no crowns..." "I suppose only the last one will be difficult." Thinking out loud, he had the how, now he just needed to coordinate the when's.

The young man's head titled as she proceeded to converse. Well at least she was trying to. The way that she spoke told him a few things. Mainly that she didn't have the biggest confidence in the world. Mainly due to her stammering and the lite voice. Still it wasn't a bad thing, in fact it added to the girl's charm. Most of the time he was used to dealing with Danae or Tessa. So this kind of person was a very welcome change. A breath of fresh air it was.
Richard was actually intrigued by the fact the Sasselia was a new student. It did explain why he hadn't seen her around before. Usually he was good at recalling faces, but seeing that she was new meant that of course he wouldn't of seen her in any of his classes. Still it did show that even in the middle of the year, Beacon was still willing to take in new applicants. Showing up now though was quite good timing. Especially sense the school wasn't in chaos at the moment. Hopefully it would remain that way. Yet it also shed more light on why she wasn't here with anyone. In fact hearing that may had brightened his mood a bit more. Like the feeling of a door opening to a perfect day.
"I'm sure Im not the first, but welcome to Beacon." He crossed an arm over his chest giving another bow of his head. Upon raising his head back up, his lean eyes peered at her for a moment. "Honestly I don't think you will have much trouble talking to people. In fact you approached me and Miya first. So that says a lot more then you think." Actions did speak a lot louder then words. It was a philosophy that stood out strongly to him. Sense she did actually start conversing in the first place, it meant that she was willing to interact with us. Even being the new person and seeming completely nervous in the process, it still earned his respect. Thinking back on the saying, he reached out with a hand towards her. "Perhaps I can help you look for your team? Even if we can't find them, it would be a lot better then traversing around the ball alone. Would be a shame for a girl like you." He offered with a smile. Wait...why they heck did he say that last part? That was usually not how he would act...right? It kinda more surprised him if anything.
