Her father smiled and laughed a bit, "It will be the grandest party to ever grace the kingdom. The whole kingdom will be present for the wedding for you and your future prince when he recovers." He said as he thought it over, "He will be given the proper welcome, but he will need to be taught our ways, we cant just have you leading the kingdom." He explained kindly.

Strider agreed about what the king had said and then replied " We should get a tutor to help him learn our ways since they are not that easy to learn " then she got some paper and a ink quill to start jotting down things he must learn

The king nodded when she spoke about getting him a tutor, "He seems like a bright kid, he shouldnt take too long to teach, the question is are you ready to call him your husband and one day give me grand children?" He asked as he was being a bit of a dad but still, him thinking about howshe would know how feels when she has children of her own.

Strider giggled a little and then replied to him " I am ready to be married but not in a big hurry to have kids yet . I wish to enjoy my newlywed life a little while then maybe when the time is right plan on having a baby " She was only eighteen years old and didnt know much about the world around her as of yet .

He laughed a bit but nodded, "Alright but remember that you have a legacy to continue, but I get that you have much to learn still." He stated as he thought it over, "Well i have much to get done, be safe sweetie." He said to his daughter as he went to go get some of his kingly duties done.

Cody was still laying in bed and was resting til he woke up at some point, he looked around the room before seeing her, "Hey... how are you?" He asked softly, which is odd since he should be asked how he is doing.

HealingAssass1n Cody was still laying in bed and was resting til he woke up at some point, he looked around the room before seeing her, "Hey... how are you?" He asked softly, which is odd since he should be asked how he is doing. Strider calmly replied" I am fine and had a great talk with father today . How are you feeling Cody ?" she then sat next to him and waited for him to reply back .

Hearing about her speaking with her father, he was a bit surprised by that but nodded, "Im doing good... i know how a kabob feels now..." he joked a bit.

Strider smiled a weak smile at him and held his hand while he talked . She then replied " Dont try to move too much you just had surgery to fix that " and laid her head on his shoulder .

Hearing what she said, he laid his head back and sighed a bit, "So what happens next? I dont have to fight anyone else do I?" He asked more as a joke but mostly just as a way to just keep his mind awake, he was still groggy from the drugs.

" We get ready to married in the castle and have lots of presents and servants at our feet . Our wedding ceremony will be the talk of the town and people from far away will be attending the ceremony , like a royal ball of sorts" Strider replied as she sat there holding his hand and hoping that he will be well enough soon to get ready for the big day.

Strider didnt want to make him uncomfortable about the situation but he had to know what he was getting into at least. " Im sorry Cody, but thats how we do things in a royal family " she replied softly hoping to not cause him more stress.

Cody looked at Strider and nodded, "I get that but this is still a lot to take in." He reassured but thought it over, "With marrying you, what should i expect when it comes to marrying you? I mean, what is my role?" He asked hoping to know.
