"Migoto?" She tensed, half out of her chair as his voice shifted. She froze as it roared again, taking a minute to collect her self before moving, her scales clattering as they shifted with her muscles. Something more out of fear if anything. She reached for his shoulder, fully standing now and making her way around the table. "Migoto! Feign! Whats going on?!" The man shouting barely registered her attention, she only looked up at him as he sounded more and more irritated. "No, I need to get him out of here though." She wrapped her fingers around his arm, tugging on him to pull him to the door. "Whoever you are, let him go." She dropped her voice, speaking low and in a tone that was more threat then warning. "Now."

"It's time, Migoto. It's time you stop meandering about aimlessly in a trivial quest for meaning and fulfill your purpose! This man threatens you, Migoto." The voice continued. Once Mira offered her warning, a deep laughter would echo through the heads of everyone in the shop, and slowly the three of them - the angered man, Migoto and Mira would be transported to a distorted version of the same shop; all the scenery would be the same, but every other citizen would appear faceless, almost ghostly.
Migoto looked to the confused man who still grit his teeth at the sight of Migoto, his eyes illustrating the pain in his head. as he was pulled from the coffee shop, it would become apparent that the change in scenery was a bit more wide-spread as a strange ash-like substance littered the air.
"The key to your return is simple lady and gentlemen; either Migoto dies or the angry man dies." And with that, a wraith-like hooded figure with a mask covering the top half of his face would appear before Mira. "You've my word I will return you upon completion of Migoto's first test.

Her grip tightened on Migoto's arm as they were transported, her free hand going to head with the voice. She looked back at the man that had come with them, positioning herself between him and Migoto a moment before looking up at the wraith as it explained how they would get back.
"Well isn't that nice of you." She responded flatly, glaring up at it. "One quick question. Why? Whats the point in killing him? The guy isn't a threat. He's defensive because of whats going on, but anyone would be in this situation. What does it accomplish if either of them die?" she asked, her focus moving from the wraith to the man and the n back to Migoto, her hand still firmly holding his arm.

The wraith let out a small chuckle and gestured to the angered man. "Lucky for you I'm in a sharing kind of mood, so I'll divulge to you the simple answer to this vexing situation: this man is of zero consequence. Honestly, I could insist our dear Migoto target anyone, anyone at all...even you, my curious friend."
Migoto, struggling against the agonizing pain in his head, shot brilliantly bright glare at the wraith. "Leave her...out of this..."
"No, Migoto. You chose to ally with this woman, and now you'll taste the consequence of having friends. But I will give you my word she'll be unharmed...that is, less I need intervene. You said it yourself Migoto: the power of death is intoxicating. All you need do is give in to that calling."
"I dunno what's going on, but don't I get a say in all this?! Or you super-powered freaks just gonna keep on with yer pissin' contest?" The angered man questioned. Suddenly, the man would notice he had a rather odd, otherworldly gun in his hand. "What the..."
"Shoot the woman and freedom is yours, you primitive wretch. I may not harm the girl, Migoto...but there's no telling what this impudent mortal will do to gain his freedom." The wraith spoke before directing its attention to Mira. "Isn't this fun?"

"This is a waste of time..." They'd had a plan, this was not part of it. Her attention focused on the newly materialized gun, a slender brow quirking at the given instructions. "That's just under handed." She sighed, looking up at the unaware tool of a man ahead of her. "I get this is all probably outside your realm of normal, but I want to tell you what that thing isn't." She jutted a thumb at the wraith. "If you go along with this, you won't walk out of this scenario. Regardless of who gets shot, you die either way. Thats the only garuntee here." She explained evenly.
She wasnt about to play this stupid roulette, but they needed an out. Looking back over her shoulder, she loosened her hold on Migoto. "Desperation drives people to do things outside their normal perimeters. Promise me you won't hold it against that guy if he takes the only path leads to his salvation, in his mind. He has no reason to trust what I tell him, and the puppeteer up there gave him a key to the cage." She dropped her hand from him completely, turning to face the wraith now. "I feel like a rook in this chess game. Only able to move in a straight line. Seems a bit unfair."
