__ Kenshin arrived in the White Flash Districts but walked through the roads less journeyed by decent folks. It was very obvious who he was by his distinct police uniform and captain badge. Kojiro was likely in his gear in tow as well. "We're cracking down on a local gang of about twenty suspects. With any luck, they'll all be hanging around in the suspected spot." He spoke quietly to Kojiro during their walk. When he eventually found the place he kicked the door in. "Police! Hands in the air!" He removed Nuibari from his hip as he performed to action. As expected, the twenty gang members jumped to their feet and stared at him viciously. They all knew exactly who Kenshin Kosei was, but the younger male accompanying him was largely unrecognizable.
Kenshin would enter into the fray immediately when the first suspect tossed several throwing knives his way. He deflected them with the needle with great speed. He then wrapped a wire around the man's ankles and pulled him to the ground. This man was able to be arrested immediately. [1] Three men then stormed toward Kenshin at once. Kenshin threw the needle towards the man's abdomen while manipulating the wire in his fingers. When it pierced through his stomach Kenshin used the wire to manipulate the sword to return to him. When it did he pulled the wire taught as needles exploded from his torso. [2] Once he caught Nuibari in his right hand he watched as the other two criminals ducked for cover but were still pierced by dozens of long needles. Kenshin felt the rage and embarrassment that he felt earlier melt away in the midst of him offering brutal retribution toward these dangerous criminals. The gang members were terrified at the prowess of his technique with the legendary blade. When one of the criminals attempted to dodge the bloody needles Kenshin used the wire again. It would wrap around and cut into her legs and arms before completely immobilizing her. [3] Kenshin continued his raid of the gang hideout by pressing inward. They all continued to resist even after they watched the famed Sannin dispatch of his opponents nonlethally yet effectively. The other criminal who was pierced by the needles lunged at Kenshin with a katana. He parried the katana with Nuibari and disarmed him. Kenshin then stabbed through his stomach with the needle before adding his body to the spool of wire. [4] He flicked the wire as the three bodies that were added to it were pulled together. Some of the bodies were stabbed through and others were tightly wrapped in the nigh-invisible wire. A large thug with a baseball bat then approached the master swordsman. He dodged the slow man's violent attack with the club with ease. Kenshin stabbed through his abdomen as well and sewed him in with the others. [5] The police captain then lunged toward another attacker. Before he could form hand signs Kenshin forced the eye of the needle into his Adam's apple. When he fell to the floor Kenshin wrapped him in the wire. All of these actions occurred with incredible speed and precision. [6] Kenshin had no desire to use any weapon at his disposal besides the brutal Nuibari and pure mastery of bukijutsu. A small fireball was launched toward him by one of the gang members. A sharp energy wave was sent in retaliation in a ghost slash. It cut through the fireball with ease before hitting his chest. Before he could collapse, Kenshin threw the needle and wrapped its wire around him. [7] There were three criminals all holding weapons who would storm after Kenshin. He would run toward them with a fury. He clashed blades with a lesser swordsman before stabbing through his thigh. The rest of the wire followed and bound his torso to the wire. [8] The two other men then attacked Kenshin with swords. Kenshin parried the first one before kicking him. His body went airborne toward the wall before crashing into it. He then disarmed the second man before wrapping him in the wire. [9] Before the man he kicked into the wall could run toward him again Kenshin threw his sword again. It pierced through the man's stomach and wrapped him into the chain gang. Kenshin caught the needle that he expertly manipulated with the wire. The legendary swordsman now had ten criminals in his chain gang for apprehension. [10]
Kenshin pulled the wire tightly as the ten criminals he arrested cried out in pain. Now Kenshin would wait for Kojiro to round up the other ten gang members. Next, they would need to take the criminals to the CORE Compound jail for processing before going back out and getting more suspects. Kenshin would wait and assist Kojiro if necessary.

Still amazed by his unofficial outing turning into a promotion, and his acceptance as an officer of the force, Kojiro walked briskly beside Kenshin as they neared the suspect's residence or hide out. As Kenshin briefed him before they entered, Kojiro nodded. " Let's clean house then." he replied confidently before Kenshin's foot would firmly slam into the door, startling the opponents. While his teacher masterfully would dispatch his own half of the room, Kojiro was left with the remaining ten.
He raised his hands up to grasp the twin swords that were holstered at both shoulders, hilts facing skyward. 'Shiiing' both scabbards rang out as steel was pulled against them, revealing the swords that were gifted to him by his teacher. The first opponent for him would reach him by now, expecting to get a lucky first blow on him by slicing his abdomen. Just before contact was made, Kojiro brough both swords down as they expelled green lightning charged sparks. Blocking the blade with both of his own, Kojiro would use one of the two to strike his opponent with the dull edge while using his stun blade technique. The electrical shock would nullify his ability to continue. [1] While the first man convulsed, Kojiro would be assaulted by two of the same. These men came armed with a metal pipe and a segment of thick chain. First, Kojiro would address the man with a chain as he slung the segment with the intent to bind Kojiro's right arm and create an opening. Without hesitation Kojiro would use his sword's tip to drive the segment of incoming chain into the ground, pinning the weapon. Using his left handed sword, Kojiro would strike the villain between the eyes with the blunt of his blade, rendering him unconscious.[2] Without time to breathe, the pipe layer would be upon him. Desperate not to have the man's pipe strike him down, Kojiro would step backwards and narrowly avoid contact. Drawing his sword from it's planted position on the ground, Kojiro would thump the man between the eyes with the hilt with the given opening. The stubborn giant refused to go down with a single blow, so Kojiro would strike both his shoulders with the backs of his blades. This action would dislocated both, preventing combat from continuing.[3] Two kunai would ricochet off his sword as he spun around to continue the raid. Dashing in towards the opponent, Kojiro would let his grip on the hilt of his right sword and grasp it's chain. Spinning the weapon from it's chain, Kojiro would deflect the kunai with ease. As he neared his opponent, he would exchange a short volley of attacks. After this, he would knock the man out with another dull edged attack.[4] The men continued to resist. Even though Kojiro wasn't as famed as kenshin, he was still taking the group out with ease. The next man who would attack wielded a long sword. Luckily for Kojiro his conductive lighting techniques would cause the charge to follow through the contact of a parry to the man's hands. This forcibly disarmed him. This disarmament allowed Kojiro to deliver a spinning elbow strike to the man's throat, leaving him gargling in pain.[5] The remaining five men would not take their chances. Together, the five surrounded Kojiro. The Hatake glared at them, his neon green eyes fierce with ambition to win. As they advanced, Kojiro would rotate rapidly, dropping to one knee as he channeled chakra into his blades. The expelled chakra would create a concussive blast of force that threw each of them into the walls. Without hesitating, Kojiro gave a secondary knock out strike to the nearest one. [6] The men continued to struggle though their numbers dwindled. Kojiro was somewhat impressed that the men had not surrendered. He sheathed his swords, respecting the fact that none of them carried their own weapon. Still, Kojiro was not ready to go easy on these men. Complacency would get him killed. Kojiro graped the target's collar with his right hand just under the collar bone. With his left hand, he held the target's sleeve just below the elbow, cinching it towards their center to prevent free use of the arm. It was a basic grip taught to most officers when subduing enemies. He would use it to throw the man to the ground. [7] The next opponent came in with a raised fist. Kojiro would gain his same grip as before with his right hand as the left was raised.He then pivoted towards that arm to place the small of his back against the front of the target's torso with the user's knees bent slightly. he would explode from beneath the target, using their momentum to drive the opponent over his shoulder and flipping him onto the ground. This heavy single shoulder throw would knock him out.[8] Kojiro would repeat the grip once more as he deflected an incoming punch by grasping the sleeve and stepping outside the arm's movement. He would draw the opponent to him now. This time he would augment his grip with an upward heave as chakra was used to lift the target from the earth. With a similar throw to the first, Kojiro would slam the target to the ground. This one would not faint so easily, requiring Kojiro to kneel and deliver a final blow to the temple.[9] The last remaining opponent was rather large, Kojiro wasn't sure that his throwing techniques were effective enough at his skill level to dispatch such a foe yet. He took a readied stance, tucking his arms against his ribs and his fists facing forward. As the opponent charged, Kojiro would concentrate, putting his maximum effort into the next punch. In addition to this concentrated power punch, Kojiro would execute a technique.Just as the target neared, Kojiro's arm would snap forward like lightning. This sudden movement would be almost unseen to the man. His enhaned punch along with the sudden straight would land squarely in the man's throat. The giant of a man would bring both hands to his throat, gasping for air. [10]
Now that the ten were dispatched, Kojiro would make his rounds, binding them all with the zip tie cuffs supplied by the armory at the station. With their gang of twenty, he waited for Kenshin's lead.
__ He was impressed by Kojiro's impressive display of arresting his targets. "He's easily fighting at the Jonin level." He assessed Kojiro closely and he was very much proving himself. Once he was done without Kenshin's need to intervene, he manipulated the wire to move from the legs of several of the arrested subjects to the arms. Once that was done and they were all able to walk more or less he would begin his march. He stared at the twenty faces and all of them matched the descriptions very accurately. Kenshin, Kojiro, and the arrested gang all walked toward the CORE Compound with no chance of them escaping.

__ After leaving the CORE Compound, Kenshin cleaned the blood from Nuibari with a rag as he walked. He then placed it back on his hip as him and the newly-minted Officer Kanzaki enterred the streets again. They took a different avenue which would ultimately lead them to the second wave of suspects. "There are thirty in this next gang and they're extremely dangerous. They'll make the last gang of rabble look like a cake walk. Prepare yourself." The captain warned Kojiro, but was prepared to use some excessive force. He still felt pained from his previous interaction and these scum gangsters would feel his full fury. "We'll see that justice is done." Kenshin said just before reaching the hideout. He threw his shoulder into the door and forced it open with ease. "Police! You're all under arrest!" His deep, authoritative voice echoed through the complex. It was a discrete warehouse and a good place for a hideout until their undercover officer tipped the APD off. This den of snakes would feel Kenshin's might.
All thirty of them were collected in the warehouse at various levels. Waves of them were running toward Kenshin and Kojiro. "Officer a*****e is here!" One gangster yelled throughout the complex causing Kenshin to form a rabbit seal with his hands with closed eyes. When they opened, his pupils became dark blue. They were glowing and similar to his Tenseigan but without the floral pattern. His athletically muscular body also became greatly pronounced in muscle definition. "It's Captain a*****e." Kenshin corrected them as he broke through the floor with a stomp and jumped forward at the speed of a bullet. The first man he engaged with would meet Kenshin's blindingly fast tenketsu combination. His fingers injected an excessive amount of nature chakra causing him to be petrified in place. [1] As they watched the man be turned to stone a shocked expression crossed their faces. Kenshin square punched the man's jaw lunging at him with a sword to his right. His shattered teeth flew out of his mouth as he flew across the building into the wall. He was immediately knocked out when his body hit the wall. [2] The human path sage kicked the man to his left in the abdominals and forced him to cough up blood. His body flew into the other wall and made a dent in the sheet metal. Kenshin's incredible physical prowess in this state was shocking to the opponents. He refused to relent as he continued his overzealous raid. [3] He ran up the metal stairs of the warehouse as another man ran down. Kenshin forced his fingers into his torso and targetted the tenketsu. His skin was petrified over and the statue was pushed over the railing to the right. The statue then descended and landed on the floor in a loud thunk but was completely intact. [4] Another gangster ran down the stairs with nunchucks. When she swung at him he caught it in his fingers and disarmed her with ease. The weapons then fell off the second level of the warehouse. Kenshin grabbed her throat before she could react and lifted her off the stairs above her. He stared into the murderous criminals' eyes hatefully before throwing her to the side and off the second level. [5] Once he reached the second level, there was only one man who stood across the metal platform. It was none other than the gang's leader whose body was covered in intense burns, scars, and fire tattoos. This arsonist was responsible for burning down the homes of his enemies filled with their children. He unleashed a great fireball jutsu at Kenshin. Immediately, he released a vacuum wave from the center of his right palm filled with nature chakra. When it clashed with the fire it immediately petrified the fireball into a rock that clunked against the metal floor. The vacuum wave then collided with his body and hardened his skin in a partially petrified state. Kenshin ran forward and grabbed his skull in his right hand before forcing it into the wall three times, knocking the gang leader out. [6] The twenty-four remaining gang members were terrified of this display. Kenshin pressed on by climbing to the third level. Once he was there, he was confronted by five criminals at once. They believed that their strength in numbers would stop the sentinel. He forced his flat palm under one of the men's chins making him unconscious in the process. [7] Kenshin's sensory awareness allowed him to sense malintent and dodge their flurry of sword strikes expertly. This swordsman refused to bloody his blade with their filth. Kenshin punched one man square in the nose and heard it snap. That man then fell back on the floor incapacitated. [8] There were now three to go as he continued to move around them. One stealthy agent approached the stairs quietly from behind him. Even without an active byakugan, he knew the agent of darkness was there. Unexpectedly, Kenshin forced his hand back and pushed him down the stairwell and off the railing. [9] Even in his seething rage, he quietly enjoyed the heavy amount of combat that he was engaging in. This was certainly the way to let off all of his steam. But even in this state, he knew that he had to restrain his strength to avoid murdering. He saw what happened to one officer who took the path of unnecessary executions in Hachiro. Kenshin performed a swipe kick which forced one of the three men to lose his balance and fall off of the railing. When he would land he would be completely knocked out. [10] Captain Kosei then engaged with one of the two remaining men. He jumped up to avoid the slash of his katana. Then he brought his right foot down and crashed it into the top of his cranium. The man then fell down and was out cold. [11] The last criminal tried to tackle and grapple him. Kenshin stepped out of his way incredibly quickly while pushing on his back. He left his own foot out to trip him and force him down the stairs. The criminal continuously rolled down the stairs and bent his kneck out causing him to be knocked out as well. [12] Captain Kosei continued his crusade through the complex and climbed another level. This was the tallest level and featured three last men. There were many beneath Kenshin on the ground level for Kojiro to deal with. The first man got close and tried to knife him. Kenshin broke his wrist and arm before throwing him into the wall. [13] Another man ran toward Kenshin with a kusarigama. Before he could attack, the police captain successfully disarmed him. He then wrapped the chain of the weapon around his throat and squeezed the oxygen from his lungs before he passed out. [14] Kenshin threw the chain weapon around the man's neck to the side as the last criminal ran towards him. Before he could hit Kenshin, the sage forced his open palm into the criminal's center of gravity in his chest. He pushed forward with incredible strength. His body flew across the room before crashing into the wall and knocking him out. [15]
Kenshin took a deep breath and calmed his nerves. He would wait for Kojiro to complete his half of the mission as agreed before rounding all the suspects up.

The first method is the palm method where nature chakra is injected from the hand into the tenketsu points resulting in chakra disruption as well as petrification of the skin if the enemy is not a sage. Nature chakra taken in excess has been known to turn humans completely into stone. Combining nature chakra with the jyuken causes the skin to be completely petrified for five posts if the target has no control over nature chakra. If the opponent is a sage they will feel immense pain and disruption in their nature chakra and will be unable to use both their chakra and natural chakra for the duration of the posts regulated by the palm method. If the technique is used at the B-Rank then 64 palms are used, if used at the A-Rank then one hundred and twenty-eight palms, if S-Rank then three hundred and sixty-one palms, if S+ then the eight-gates assault. The S+ palm method can only be used once per battle. If hit by the B-Rank palm method then it locks a target out of using skills requiring chakra and nature for two posts, up to B rank. For A-Rank, it locks a target out of using skills requiring chakra and nature chakra for three posts, up to A rank. At S-Rank, an S ranked amount of chakra and nature chakra will be destroyed and then the victim is unable to use their chakra for four posts. The S+ palm method will completely remove a target's ability to use chakra and nature chakra at all for 5 posts, as well as draining them the full 320 chakra of the skill. The palm method is always treated as complex. Sage chakra and demon chakra can be used to nullify the petrification for a one post per rank duration of sealing said resource from regenerating. The locking out occurs when a targets Sage Chakra can no longer withstand it. For example, at the B-rank petrification, the opponent loses 40 sage chakra then they have their regen sealed for 2 posts they must then pay 40 to prevent petrification. A target without sage or demon chakra can avoid petrification by paying 3 times the amount imbued in the strike.
The second Heavenly Judgement method is the vacuum method. By releasing a blast of nature chakra from the palm similar to the mountain crusher it can send opponents flying back and punch holes in boulders. The immense natural chakra also petrifies the skin of non-sages on contact but not to the paralytic extent of the palm method, but it will decrease the opponent's speed based on the rank applied (moderately at B, highly at A, and supremely at S & S+). If it clashes with and defeats a jutsu then it completely petrifies the chakra involved and turns the technique into a useless stone statue. The vacuum method is always treated as spiritual.
The third method is the rotation method which allows for nature chakra to release from all tenketsu points at once and create a spinning shield up to a three-meter diameter around the Hyuuga clansman. It tosses away and petrifies the skin of non-sage opponents to the same extent as the second method with a speed decrease (moderately at B, highly at A, and supremely at S & S+). The nature chakra rotation will also petrify any techniques that it comes in contact with and overpowers. The rotation method is always treated as complex.

The duo headed down a new alleyway to seek out the remainder of the gang problem that was plaguing the streets. As they neared the group, Kenshin spoke of justice being done. " Understood Sir, we'll deliver their punishment swiftly." With that, Kenshin would thrust his shoulder into the door as it was thrown open while he announced the presence of the police. Kojiro's eyes widened as the man at his side would form a rabbit sign, his eyes shifting color and his muscles seeming to teem with raw power as they bulged. His teacher's first footstep would shatter the wooden floors as he darted like a bullet into the man claiming him to be ' officer a*****e '. His swift delivery of tenketsu strikes would offer a new and terrifying effect. Petrification. It was a tall order to match and unfortunately Kojiro wasn't equipped with such powers, yet.
As the group remaining on the first flow gawked at Kenshin's display, Kojiro would step forward. His eyes glowing a luminous neon green as he called out to them. " Dunno what you're worried about up there fellas'. I'm the one hauling you lot to prison." The group of men sneered as they made their move on the Chuunin Officer. The man would bring four fingers together, charging his fist with lightning chakra. This would create the infamous hands of torture technique. With each finger removed, Kojiro would strengthen his power of the strike. The first criminal however, would recieve it's weakest form, the four finger strike that would lodge itself into his chest. The strike would leave significant burns on the man's chest from the impact, his vision blurring and nearly losing consciousness. [1][ Hands of Torture Learned] As the man's body dropped, Kojiro would look to his next opponent. This one rushed in with his brass knuckles, hoping to strike Kojiro before suffering the same fate. Too bad. Kojiro would block his incoming right hook with his left hand as his right empowered hand struck the man between the eyes. The burning and sudden blast to the face would blind him temporarily as he stumbled backward, writing in pain. [2] From afar, he would spot two criminals preparing to try a long ranged approach. As they molded their hand signs, Kojiro would prepare himself. Holding his left hand over his right wrist, he would change the flow of chakra once more. This time, the chakra would become a vibrant green charge that resembled Chidori. This charge however would be the upgraded Raikiri, capable of slicing real lighting. With the monsterous speed Kojiro gained during it's use, he would be upon the target in an instant, striking both of their hands at once with the skill. Since Raikiri was a cutting technique, the man's hands would suffer deep wounds. This was a much better outcome than if Kojiro had intended to pierce his heart.[2][Raikiri Learned ] The second man would panic, seeing his ally's hands torn apart. Kojiro would not fail to notice the desperate attempt the man made to grasp weapons fallen about beneath him. Utilizing his wind element, Kojiro would take control of a dagger on the floor. This dagger with the use of his chakra would impale the man's open palm to prevent him from making hand signs, leaving him incapable of continuing.[4][ Projectile Control Technique Learned ] The weapons the man reached for scattering, another would be villain grasped at the projectiles. With impressive skill they would be hurled towards Kojiro. He would bring his hands to his mouth as he exhaled. The chakra infused breath would create a concussive blast of wind that would not only stop the projectile in their tracks but reflect them back on the man. With several kunai and shuriken peppering his body, the man could not continue the fight. [5][Projectile Deflection Blast Learned ] Almost catching him off guard, a giant club would smash into the ground beside him. Kojiro would need to move quickly. Using his chakra, he would expell the wind element from his hands. This created a propulsive blast of wind chakra that threw him to the wall across the room. The Propelling forces technique enabled him to preform breakneck actions with ease. To continue his attack, Kojiro allowed the same technique to hurl him towards his foe. Ending the technique just before he impacted, Kojiro prepared his attack. Gathering chakra into his palms, Kojiro released the attack. This attack would expel wind chakra in a violent matter that would crush boulders. This meant that the poor criminal stood no chance. With ease, he was dealt a concussion and knocked unconscious.[6][ Propelling Winds and Extreme Decapitating Air Waves Learned ] Kojiro watched as the masses moved in on him still. There were nine left. He would need to slow down the lot before continuing so he wouldn't be ganged up on. He would form a set of hand signs, expelling chakra into the air. The air in the immediate area would then have it's pressure raised. This raise in air pressure would cause the opponents who looked to make a quick meal of Kojiro to have hindering results. Each opponent suffered either blackouts, nasuea, and disorientation. One of the poor fools even fell unconscious.[7][ Learned High Air Pressure ] As the group staggered about, Kojiro continued his assault. He would channel chakra into his entire body as he blasted forward. Kojiro would vanish from sight for a moment, appearing on the opposite side of the group of enemies. They were in the endgame now. The blast of his action threw them all to the ground, allowing him to single out the one who didn't fall and finish him off.[8][ Assassin's Rush Learned] The commotion had caused several of the pipes in the building to burst. Each pipe sprayed a substancial amount of water from it. Using the surroundings to his advantage, Kojiro tapped into his third element. Suiton. Using his chakra to manipulate the water, Kojiro would use it to slam a torrent into a foe and render them unable to battle. [9][ Water Manipulation Learned ] His tenth vict-criminal appeared to be hostile still, despite twenty four reasons not to be. Kojiro wasn't looking for a fight. He was looking for a victory. It didn't matter how he got it, so long as it was serving justice. Forming a tiger sign, Kojiro activated his next jutsu. A thick mist flooded the area, preventing those within it from seeing their opponent. The hidden mist technique made famous by Kirigakure was extremely useful. One of the remaining six criminals was just unlucky enough to encounter him within the mists. [10][ Hidden Mist Technique Learned ] Continuing to use the mist, Kojiro stuck to the shadows.As he moved through the mists, his vision became more clear. Infact, he was able to see everything completely clearly after only seconds. With this possible, Kojiro would swoop upon his next target, knocking them out with a hidden attack.[11][ Hidden Mist Vision Learned ] The remaining four opponents continued to attempt their gang like attacks. Kojiro sighed, becoming frustrated with the group. Water flooded the floors, making this an easy defeat one way or another. The nearest target would have a blade of water rise from below and slice into his thigh. The activation was a simple stomp of the foot, allowing Kojiro to remain actively defending with his hands.[12][ Rising Water Cutter Learned ] The three opponents moved in one unit. Their swords all three reaching Kojiro at the same time if left unchecked. Using a quick forming of hand signs, a torrent of water burst skyward around him. This torrent became a watery tornado that would blast the three away. Fortunately for Kojiro, the second of the three was knocked out. This technique proved to be useful offensively and defensively. [13][Tornado of Water Learned ] Kojiro would act quickly as the two men remaining flew through the air. Kojiro formed a hand sign. The hand sign allowed the water in the area to funnel into his free hand to create a whip. This water whip was used to snatch one of the men from the air. With a final discharge of electrical chakra, the man was stunned into defeat.[14] Water Whip Learned ] Unfortunately, several of the men had regained their composure and stood to face Kojiro, including the last remaining unmaimed target. Kojiro was exhausted mentally at this point with the group, knowing they were third rate. Kojiro would slap both hands on the ground, funneling his electircal current into the water. All fifteen opponents felt the shock. This shock would allow the final undefeated target to be subdued. With this complete, the arrests had been made. Now Kojiro simply would tie them up and prepare for transport. [15]

__ Kenshin looked below and saw Kojiro's fighting which resulted in mass electrocution. Using his sensory abilities, he could tell that they were all still alive. He walked down the stairs once it was all over with and stopped before Kojiro. Kenshin inhaled and closed his eyes before his body returned to normal with sage mode now inactive. "Well done, Officer Kanzaki." He offered his praise in a flat tone as he looked out over the sea of thirty knocked out gang suspects. "Unleashing my sage mode abilities may have been excessive force. But there's much justice to be paid and I've had...a lot on my mind." Kenshin was obviously referring to Ada as well as the divine intervention situation in general at the end of his statement, but he felt a sense of relief in such a productive day of cleaning up the streets. "This lot of vipers needs to be processed. All the petrification will wear off in a few minutes. If nature chakra is introduced in excess to a body that isn't trained to handle it then it's been known to turn men into stone." Kenshin explained to his student in a brief lesson around making his rounds handcuffing and ankle cuffing the unconscious bodies including the petrified ones. Kenshin then left the area with Kojiro and the arrested suspects once they were able to move.

Nuibari Attributes • Infinite Needles | While Nuibari functions perfectly fine as a long, thin blade that sits between a Jian and a Foil. It's comprised of infinite, instantly replenishing needles. If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.

'Calm down, Nozomi, this isn't you.' Nozomi bitterly thought to herself as she was pacing back and forth in front of the post office. She was trying to figure out what to do. Should she go ahead and send the letter or should she wait? Ugh! Nozomi had to do few deep breaths. 'What would you say to your students if they were acting hot headed as you?' Nozomi paused as she got out of someone's way. That... was a good point. What was going on with her? Nozomi seemed to start to become more expressive and more angry. This wasn't like her at all. With a deep sigh, she leaned up against the wall and thought for a moment. Hmm. This reminded her of a technique she read at the academy. How did it go again? It was something about runes. It was also part of a tracker too. Her student was learning it. Well few of them, but not much. That's right. She remembered now. With the idea in mind, Nozomi had started to head her way towards CORE, fumbling with the envelope and the papers as she tried to find the one with the returning address.
The time had not been kind to Obei thus far. For one, she had been allowed to stay in Arashigakure under surveillance of the shinobi there. There was very little that could done about the past yet the oni still couldn't bring herself to move forward. She lied down on the bench that she normally slept on top of, not wanting to bother anybody in the village since she was technically a criminal after all. An exhausted huff escaped her lips. She missed the simpler times with Kogarashi and Kagami. The things she did, the things she wanted to say but couldn't. Obei found a part of herself wishing she could at least go back and experience such plights now. It at least gave her life some amount of meaning. People passed her by with either a confused glance or one of scorn for what she had done all those years ago. Her bare hands laid on the ground below, the gauntlets she wore to shield her unnatural hands from this world all but gone.

The mail. The residing couple couldn't settle with mailboxes or those cute little mail slots. They had someone for that. Actually, someone and their dog Touka. This mail handling duo is made up of a young lady with an extra sensory ability and her chipper four-legged helper who is well trained using her sense of smell for detecting the unusual upon her normal task of happily bringing the mail for an exchange of love, pets, and bacon. One morning the mail came early. Weird. Such a hubbub was created over getting mail but still Touka and her handler (who carries a special sensory ability) were happy to come out and inspect the exterior of an envelope before she could let go any further. A plain envelope addressed to Unki. When Touka sat, the envelope was determined "clean" and she let the early bird mail courier place the envelope in a canvas bag (decorated with Touka's paw prints). With a snap of their fingers, the handler had Touka collect the bag in her mouth, briefly growing at the courier before turning and walking away. No one is allowed to touch mail in Touka's bag unless her handler says so. Not even mail carriers. The bag has to reach the Emperor or Empress first.
This dog was usually the go-to for locating recipients, again with her might sense of smell, and was first to greet either A Shiro or an Unki. This morning it was Unki's turn to greet Touka and trade off a treat with access to the mail bag. The dog took a seat, licking her lips and wagging her tail as she watches Unki claim the ordinary envelope. The dog bit onto the bag and follows her handler out.
Unki was nibbling on the fluffy crust of a warm flaky biscuit, at breakfast, as she flips the envelope about in her hands. The envelope was on the larger side of the envelope scale and Unki naturally thought it was important. The front was even delicately addressed to her: "Empress Unki of the Chosokabe Empire" but the return address was some vague nod to a location. The contents must have been safe since, yeah? Ultimately the envelope did make it past her special courier and dog duo which more than not indicates "all was well and right" for anyone to handle. Opening the envelope was normal like opening any other but the contents were far from being normal. Unki was happily kicking her feet over the floor. She liked getting mail but only when the mail was something good. This wasn't good. The contents of this envelope had her stop all happy kicking motions, stop chewing her biscuit, and sucked all the cheer and joy in the morning out. Unki could only gawk in horror and awe. Not one but three sizable photographs featuring the young lady in all her bare glory: the warm morning sun lighting up her sun-kissed frame. Another featuring her getting ready to try on a delectably sinful, silky dress in her own bedroom. Then the third, featuring an exceptionally bright moon which might have once featured an additional person at the time of taking although the focus was still the young lady.
Breakfast was ruined. The day was ruined and Unki's emotions became a haphazard whirlwind of at least three back-and-forth emotions at once: a tinge of sadness, a wave of embarrassment, and a hot firey impassioned sense of anger. If her husband was present at breakfast then this turn of events might have played out differently but Unki wouldn't spare a word to fill him on the photographs. Like a blazing firework set skyward Unki fled breakfast, leaving her home and made the angry couple-mile-long journey to town. Presently dealing with tears, bitter angry words, or both on the way. This is how Unki found herself in the streets of the Hidden Storm. Running with the photos in her embrace with long purple sleeves whirling behind in her wake making little whimper noises ranging from sad, freaking out, to angry heavy breaths. The young empress was a purple and yellow storm of flip flopping emotions from one second to the next with the directive to go hurry to the top man in town she could trust to help her. Then with a turn about a corner, Unki's former flawless evasion of the good people of The Storm was ruined with one great THONK and a squeaking yelp! Nozomi.

While she was trying to find the return address, she felt a body slam into her pretty hard. Being off guard which was her mistake, Nozomi had released the papers and fell onto her bottom with a sharp sting upwards. This would've bothered a lot of people and cause them to rub their butt, not Nozomi. She was a kunoichi after all, her family was harsh on her training so minor pain setbacks like this was nothing. Nozomi glanced towards the one that had bumped into her and saw that she had been crying. Red cheeks, puffy red eyes. Now immediately concerned for this stranger who she had met once for three seconds, Nozomi frowned. What was wrong? As she leaned forward, her legs moved back and she realized there was more papers than usual. They weren't all hers. After finding a picture, Nozomi was so glad for her mask as it hid the blush behind it. Not saying a word for a bit so she can give the woman few minutes to calm down as she gathered the papers, seperating from the woman and hers. The photo was familiar so, this blonde kunoichi had been targeted too. This means that Nozomi couldn't be the first case, however, she wondered what the sick photographer had ask Unki for. "Short inhale, longer exhale. Our emotions are clouding us. I would know. I broke my bathroom mirror and almost went on a rampage." Nozomi spoke towards the woman in attempt to calm down. "Will you help me find him?" She asked towards her as she holds up a stack of the letter and pictures towards the blonde as there was another stack of papers, it was hers, neatly piled up by her leg. She didn't know that one of the pictures was facing up, so if Unki wishes, she would be able to see Nozomi all in her glory. Long red wet hair clung to her body and water drops sweetly running down her skin. "I'm going to the CORE for more information, if there was to be any... I also have an idea of how to get the photographer." Nozomi squatted up a bit and held her hand out to help Unki up as she would get up at the same time Unki pull herself up.
Obei would suddenly feel a soft warmth envelop her. A blanket of silk and cotton. Standing next to her would be a ban with blue skin and a single prominent horn jutting out the side of his head. Trefles despite his half-blooded heritage now had a proud horn that had fully grown in thanks to his fathers guidance and his mother's firmness. The man stood with his arms crossed and aviator like glasses. He wasn't ashamed of his face anymore, that said he'd still occasionally wear his mask. His gruff exterior refined by the mountains was a stark contrast to the man's voice. Smooth and still somewhat eccentric in nature. "Ohoho if your not careful, you'll catch a cold out here bon, not to mention there are some rather lascivious individuals in these parts who'd take advantage of a sleeping mademoiselle. Bon, but perhaps I worry for nothing you seem a capable woman. Cannot say I have seen you around these parts new to the village?"
Trefles was doing his rounds. Being the man he was, he spoke with several people about his business ventures. He spoke to Obei as any average person, this was because unlike them he wouldn't have any prejudice towards the girl because quite simply he was on a need to know basis and things he didn't need to know he never pursued. To him Obei was simply a rather large woman, seemingly about to take a nap in a rather dangerous place. Meanwhile, a collective group of individuals on rooftops were conversing with each other. "That's the Arashikage's primary craftman. Should we inform him he's conversating with an ex-con?" - "No. Let's see where this goes, I've always been suspicious about that guy. Calls himself a 'traveling merchant' and doesn't work exclusively with arashi. He reeks of a spy. The kage's kindness is also his biggest weakness."
The Man with stygian wings would remain vigilant and wait for the girls answer. She'd been ignored for so long, so perhaps now she'd finally have someone to talk to. But judging by his shade, the horn, and the vestigial wings he had, he was no doubt an Oni. An oni from the blue oni clan and from that clan the ancient stygian or 'dark oni' as they were called with a history that dated back to the demonic oni that ate and slaughtered humans. True, Trefles when discovering this for himself was shocked, but later discovered one's past ancestry doesn't determine what and who a person is now or the clansmen that came from it. Still how his clan related to hers. That was something else. Something that only Obei would know.
Hajime was hopping from roof to roof, headed towards the festival. He'd land and jump, his feet making a tap sound each time he'd make contact with a roof. He was in the White Flash District now, and usually he'd just keep going but something caught his eye, a few people on a roof, spying on something. He was mid jump, analyzing everything when he saw someone he hadn't seen in a very long time. Two people actually, the first being the man he was going to try and get in contact with, Trefles! Phew, well that was-'OH MY GOD ITS THE BIG LADY!' He screamed in his head, remember that day, back in the Spire, in Toso's office. The tall gal, she had really caught his eye. Obei felt a warmth spread over her massive form with her eyes closed. She opened a single digit to come face to face with quite the oddity. A blue skinned, horned male that spoke in a strange accent. He certainly wasn't from around here, not by a long shot. Just what a hell was a bon anyways? There was little doubt he hailed from the same race as her, the clan however was a much different story. His appearance made it all clear he was a part of the blue oni, a subsect who retained the looks of their ancestors eons ago when the oni were fearsome killers of mankind. Obei wondered how humans tasted but figured it was fairly disgusting considering the amount of food that goes into one. She looked down before speaking. "Lot people like if Obei get cold. Very lot people." The oni let out a solid huff and remained on her side, being careful not to make contact with the man. Her ice cold fingers probably had enough chakra in them to give a couple stages of frostbite to. Her fingers glew an unnatural shade of ethereal blue, bits and parts of pale skin speckled here and there before her pale white skin dominated the rest of her lower palms.
"Obei." She said after a moment of silence, snuggling herself further into the blanket while introducing herself. She observed the man before clicking her tongue as she switched into the tongue that only the two of them would understand. "" Obei looked off into the distance. Was it safe to be spilling out secrets like this to random stranger? Potentially. But for some reason it felt nice talking to another of her kind. More understandable than humans. "" She shuffled around underneath the blanket again, her black horn sticking straight out. ""
The sound of a body hitting the ground caught her ears. Her red eyes looked over at a familiar sight. A red haired individual who she had met under rather awkward circumstances. Obei rose from her spot and gently walked over towards the fallenn man, her boot stomping out the cigarette. Another tongue click as she reached down and gently picked him up from the ground before placing him on his two front feet. "Be careful. Very more careful, yes?" The oni said, doing her best to walk away before he might have noticed who she was, back over to Trefles.

The old tongue. If Obei's common tongue was difficult for her to pronounce. Then her common tongue was the old tongue to the frenchman. He'd have absolutely no idea what it was she was saying if he hadn't gone on his journey to discover the secrets of his heritage. He would be all kinds of eccentric would this have been their first encounter five years ago. Finding other Oni, however, was still a joy to see. He'd spot her blue digits and ask teh question if he was quite possibly to some degree related. However, this was doubtful...perhaps an off lineage. She sported only a single horn Trefles would have had two if not for his muddled blood. He wondered. Could she be in the same boat? He'd form questioning expression with a hand on a chiseled chin. Coldest thing is people some time but all can do Is make other people warm with good feeling yes."> It was right around this time Hajime made his 'entrance' if it can be called that. Causing a slight startle in the bartender's chest. On the rooftops those that watched the pair...the conversation in Oni tongue that took place...it unnerved the paranoid one. "What the hell are they saying." - "beats me but I'm writing it down." however, there is one thing that doesn't change in languages. Those were names. 'Kagami' that's all the paranoid operative needed to hear.
Obei would be the first to react with Trefles making his strides towards him draping the formerly offered blanket over his shoulder on his approach. "Ohohoho well, well. If it isn't monsieur Asuhara. Could it be you're FALLING for a lady? Or are you just...DROPPING in? Bon. Oh hon hon hon. I jest." some light humor, little did he know he wasn't wrong. "Well now are you acquainted with..."
