They pair sat in a small private cabin on the civilian transportation ferry as it paddled up the gully towards the Whirlpool Village. He had been through this area once- when the old woman San was Hokage. Back when the UHV has been freshly destroyed and they were trying to figure out how to divvy up the land. Of that original group, only he remained. Aurelia was simply taken with the merging of nature and civilization. The large river which ran straight into the village seemed to interest her...likely due to the fact that the last time she left the Storm Village she was just a baby. He allowed her to watch the scenery change through the window as he reclined in the booth opposite of her. Before they had arrived onto the ferry he had used a technique to obscure both of their dojutsu. Now, instead of someone seeing Rinnegan and Kinmekugan both of them appeared to have matching green eyes as they used to. As they sailed Belamos went over to the history of this land and how it became to be the Whirlpool. It was a pleasant trip- almost like they were a normal family.
When the ship docked Belamos took her hand in his and walked off the boat into the ports with his daughter. The Vortex Tower rose high above them- the structure which housed the village's massive gates was imposing indeed. It was obvious The Twins' attack had made it here already. Everything was on high alert. The crowds of civilians milled about in front of checkpoints. The lockdown slowed everything considerably. Belamos sat his daughter down on a nearby bench and handed her an ice cream cone he bought from a vendor who was wisely taking advantage of the crowd to sell his wares "Sit tight- I'm gonna see about getting us in" With that he turned into the crowd and started pushing his way to the front. Of course he could just use some big theatrical display and he was sure he would get the attention he needed, but that wasn't the way he needed to play this out. No, better to be low key. Eventually he found a low ranking gate guard taking names and reasons of visitation at one of the Checkpoints.

After a moment, Belamos simply replied "Belamos Karna- founder of Kogarashi and Shinobi. I'm here to see Chie Saegahara"
The man started to write this down before stopping, apparently realizing what had just been said, and looked up to stare at the odd stranger. Belamos, meanwhile, simply spun a finger in the air, creating a halo of flames as his finger moved which quickly vanished "Can you let her know I'm here, please? Patience isn't one of my strongest virtues" With a look of slight fear in his eyes the man scurried away for purposes unknown. Once gone, Belamos joined his daughter on the bench by the water, waiting for some kind of response.

Chie needant make a rush to insist on his relocation of the third perperator, none escaped his sight from under the Byakugan as he maintained it during her orders to the others gathered at the gate. Silent for a time, Zahara kept his mind's eye focused on the overlying battlefield of the industrial quarter, noting high levels of concentrated chakra being thrown around there. But under the two locations of high impact was what he saw to be a lack of chakra, energy that has just so recently left from a score of people. As soon he noticed the change in such chakra colors fading from his sight, he focused his Byakugan's sight to it and it was the arena. The place where fights were performed for the glory of spectators and ongoing glory but what he saw was far from any match he could think of.
Realization dawned on him as he found the third's chakra traces there that matched that of from the gates and he saw them. Numerous souls were left empty, dead - their path at an end. After a heavy moment, he finally spoke up. "A third's been located, strange chakra alterations in the area, suspected mind affecting abilities such as illusions." he began to say as he looked over to Chie, uncertain of what to say. "There are suspended bodies, many strung up. It's tough to say but I fear casualties have been mounted." He said, omitting the fact that it was this difference in the chakra had been the reason he found the third target, afraid to admit his incompetence to locating them earlier.
"Another figure approaching, a kilometer out in boat at a checkpoint. Hard to miss their chakra, distinct it is. Two, actually. One's a lower chakra source, a child?" He began quickly as he identified a rather large well of energy that was approaching the village. "Intent unknown, caution advised."
Still looking at Chie he held the byakugan seal still but now the emotion of rage crept at the corner of his mouth. "If you have me, I will personally go for the third, my Byakugan will aid me in defense against Genjutsu. I intend to bring them in, alive if willing." Zahara released the seal and swore under his breath. "I must see their fate for myself."

Aurelia loved her time spent on the boat. Her father had always said that she was quite the lover of pools such as this despite being from a Karna. It was nice to see something so familiar. She faintly recalled the boat ride to home with everybody, just bits and pieces swirling around in her young mind. The youngest Karna would exhaust herself out the first half of the boat ride, then simply fall asleep in her chair. During this, her head would have rolled off and leaned against Belamos's arm. The child dreamed of happier times. Her mother and father waking her up in the morning and telling her of the schedule for today. She missed her mother's soft touch. The hands of a warrior were always so soft and gentle when with her. She could only hope that her final moments were spent well.
It came time to be gently shaken by her father, waking her from the dream she was having. Aurelia murmured and soon stretched while fixing up her hair. Gods it had gotten so long. When did that happen? It did look good though. Maybe she could grow a braid like her mother had. As the boat came to a stop Aurelia smiled and then nodded to her father. She was ready to go. The two stepped foot off the boat and then onto the docks.
A large crowd was outside, no doubt because of the people the Twins had sent here. Aurelia frowned at what would await them inside. She sat down on a bench as per her father's instructions. The bench felt a little less comfortable to sit on than the boat seats but they were better than standing. She was handed an ice cream (sea salt flavor, her favorite) and told to stay there while Belamos would handle what was going on. The child sat with her frozen treat, busy licking the cold surface and thinking. Just thinking as all children do.
Belamos joined her a few minutes later. Aurelia looked up at her father for a moment before speaking. "Daddy, how come you hid our eyes? Are they bad in the Whirlpool?" she asked him. "And you were going to tell me more about the Rinnegan. Can we talk about that?" Droplets of ice cream splashed on her fingers, the child licking them up before going back to her frozen treat.

The woman gave a nod to Zehara when he asked to track the final targets. "Take whoever you need. Get this problem resolved." She said solemnly. To Sadayo's request, Chie was surprised. "Isn't that Exorcist a friend of yours? I'm sure that she could help." She answered abruptly. Suddenly, a vortex operative appeared by her side. The masked woman whispered something in her ear which caused her eyes to widened. "Report to Kya immediately!" Chie ordered as the woman disappeared. Chie then cursed in the air. First Zhi's mess, and now Kogarashi was sending forces. There were no fireworks yet, which probably meant it was someone like Kagami who wanted to gloat wildly before they threw tailed beast balls. Still, Chie needed to stall to keep her village as safe as possible. She disappeared in the mist.
The vortex crowd parted in front of Belamos as the fog disbursed. As it did, the pink haired woman walked with powerful footsteps. She looked Belamos directly in his eyes. The shade of green they were was unnatural, but she couldn't focus on it at the moment. Every muscle in her body was tense. She had no idea how long this man wanted to boast until he started to fire off attacks. Nor did Chie have an idea of how long she wanted to stall before she moved in for the kill. However, she suddenly stopped when the girl beside him, a little kid no way old enough for this world, called Belamos Daddy.
A chill resonated within her. Was this a trick? Could this be some kind of act? She did not appear to be under the guise of a transformation, however. Her former mentor, Sanae, used to trick her constantly with transformation disguises until Chie could pick an impostor out of a crowd. No, this looked like a real kid, and the words sounded sincere. What kind of monster brings his own daughter to a battleground? Gritted teeth and fierce eyes locked onto Belamos.
"Speak." Her words were simple and precise. She wanted to be vicious, cruel, and evil. However, she was too afraid of harming the child. If the b*****d's plan was to use her as a human shield, then it was working. Chie found herself in a situation where she temporarily had no idea how to proceed. Nothing prepared her for someone to take, "Bring your child to work day" to the site of war. As the leader of Uzu, she would need to do whatever it took to protect her village. Does that mean she might have to put a child in danger? She silently prayed that it wouldn't come to that.

The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. How pleasantly simplistic this was turning out to be. Taking what had been, up to this point, a normal trip with his daughter. He listened to her questions in between licks of her ice cream, a scene that caused a smile to grace his lips. He enjoyed the moment for a few breaths before answering "Knowledge is power, Aurelia. The less that people know about your capabilities the better. Keeping our abilities hidden helps us to not arise suspicion. These people aren't bad, but I do not know them and, thus, we do not trust them" Moving onto the topic of the Rinnegan, he shot her a concerned glance "We will talk about that when we have some time to ourselves. But, for now, we must keep the knowledge that you have those eyes to ourselves"
It was right about this time that the noise from the crowd died down to hushed whispers, the fog that permeated the area parted and a pink-haired woman approached. Just by her body language, he could tell who she was, and by her actions, he judged a great deal about her intelligence. A knowing yet sly grin crept across his face as he leaned back on the bench, putting his heel on his knee and crossing his arms "You must be Chie" He said slowly, seemingly examining the woman before him. She was on the short side with pronounced feminine features. She had a kind visage, however, she was trying very hard to appear the fierce leader she needed to be. He wasn't buying it. He had met Warlords, hell, he had killed Warlords. She wasn't one of them.
Good.
Still, her kindness did not increase her decision-making skills. While he was glad she had come peacefully, he questioned why she came alone and why, at the very least, she hadn't cleared the crowd of onlookers from the area completely. He was reminded of The Twins's: confident and foolhardy. Apparently, she thought herself the only person capable of confronting the possible threat that he, himself, posed. Of course, she could always be a distraction while some sort of secondary squad set up an ambush or a sniper trained an arrow on his neck. Regardless, he was flattered by the caution his appearance warranted. It was touching in an odd way, albeit completely unnecessary.
He spread his arms out, resting one on his crossed knee and spreading the other out to place on the back to the bench behind his daughter "I'm Belamos, this is Aurelia" He said, ruffling the girl's hair "We've come to help you" He looked around the area, seemingly surveying what was going on. When he turned back to Chie, his smile had dipped down into a slight frown "This is not going to work. Bickering like children all the while Kagami pulls the strings. If this keeps up, she's going to win. I'm here to make sure she doesn't" A steeled reserve was imprinted upon Belamos' green eyes. Say what you will about the Son of Utu- he was prideful, arrogant, stubborn. Yes, he was those things. But, more than the sum of all those emotions: he was determined. A leader; one by which his talent came naturally. When he set his mind to a task he followed it through. He found the right people for the job and lead them to the ends of the earth. The UHV had fell victim to such a phenomena before, and Kogarashi would be no different.

αA woman seemed to walk from the shadows themselves, twirling, what weapon she had no interest in actually this time? Oh, a shuriken around one finger, spinning like a buzz saw. There was something lovely about being able to mask one's actions with basic genjutsu. Chie had requested her presence, and as she walked forward, a hand at her back would signal for Junko not to follow all the way to her. Kya, mask covering the lower half of her face, allowed her three tomoe to spin slowly, a small black line instead of a dot in their center. A white snake coiled around her waist, up her torso to rest at her shoulder over her back, looking to all of those present and his something in the ear of the Truth Bearer.
"Wha-a-gwan, Chie," she spoke sizing up Belamos before narrowing her eyes. "I thought that name sounded familiar. I saw you when everyone and their mother decided to sack those [insert indiscernable foreign word] in the UHV. Hmm." Kya, of course, had been there and done more than her fair share of havoc-wreaking but Belamos didn't strike her as the type of man who remembered people. Something about how he carried himself made him appear entirely self serving. She was prone to judgement though, mostly cause it was her job. And the little girl, how she seemed to want to stay clung to him, the similarity in their features, even to her currently blurred vision were striking and clear. A quick search over his features showed her something else, something that made her want to be a petty a*****e just as she was whenever the chance to tease Shukkaku arrived. Instead, she simply maintained a smirk that couldn't be seen behind the mask.
"Kagami is the one who killed Takumi," she spoke aloud, something for Sonyo and Junko to know since, at one time, he had been a good ninja, if she remembered correctly, as well as Chie's brother. Good to keep things in perspective. "Are you here to tell us-" an explosion in the distance barely rumbled, "That Kagami's plan is to pit us against each other? Because I'd believe it. I doubt your people would send you here to talk peace while we have that going on."
If only she knew what manner of confusion was going on. The snake at her neck tasted the air, now his eyes as well between Aurelia and Belamos. As she had been requested, now she was here.

Hydra Clone B Rank At first, the targets of this illusion may believe they are fighting against Kage Bushin clones but when a clone is hit, it splits into two clouds which reform into two new, separate clones. When one of these is hit, the same process occurs. In short order, the target of this technique may quickly come to believe that fighting back against the clones is only making things worse for them and they may attempt to flee or simply defend. Kurayami no Oii [ Shroud of Darkness ] A Rank Requires Ataeru Kanjoo no Jutsu first be known. This Jutsu calls into being a sheet of inky darkness over an area of roughly five hundred square yards in length and 40 yards in height. This mass of darkness cancels all forms of natural light and sound, causing the area to become a perfect inky black. While inside the shroud, individuals are essentially rendered blind by the complete lack of light, and deaf by the loss of natural environmental sounds. However, the creator of the shroud is able to see clearly and unhindered by the loss of sound. If used by A.N.B.U. personal for village defense (non-npc), this jutsu's cost is that of a C-rank. If used by Oinin personal for tracking purposes only, this jutsu's cost is that of a C-rank. Affecting Sight primarily, then Sound and Chakra as well. Chie showed no emotion as the man spoke. What kind of idiot did he take her for? This was the worst thought out plan Kagami could throw at her. She was ready to break into a laugh when Kya arrived. Kya believed him? The woman must have brewed the tea leaves a tad too long if she is willing to believe the word of a man who introduced himself as the faction which Uzushiogakure was at war with. For that reason, Chie felt the need to intervene.
"Kagami being at the heart of Uzu's attack on Arashi is something I deduced some time after Ferrah informed me." She said stoically. She needed now more than ever to remain in control of her emotions. One slip up and she could make way more enemies than she needed. "That also explains why neither of the operatives which I sent to retrieve Ferrah and Rinka have returned yet. I have no doubt that Arashi's calling card attack is because of her. However, I wouldn't trust you if you came to my village with that witch's head on a pike."
Anger now started to boil to the surface. She took a deep breath. She needed some of her emotion to deliver the power to state her authority, but too much and it could lead to catastrophe. "Kagami Hari killed my brother, Takumi Saegahara. You parade yourself as a founder of Kogarashi. Your alliance with the rogue faction makes you either an accomplice or a lap dog of that conniving wench. You are a rogue, and the destruction of village culture for selfish desire is the true nature of all rogues. Therefore, as long as you align with any rogue organization, your words to me mean nothing." Her arms folded as her gloved hands were tucked in. "Because you have your daughter with you, I will give you the mercy to flee. I will also house and raise her as a shinobi of Uzushiogakure if you require sanctuary for her. All of her needs would be met, and no harm would come to her. The blood of the innocent is on my hands for the tragedies Arashi suffered at the hands of my bewitched operatives."

Zahara was already prepped to make his departure from the gates, the metal gauntlet was flitted over his left hand with a tighter fit. Ah- there was the backup. The dark skinned woman...she seemed familiar. After a moment of silent contemplation, the memory came back to him- she had been at the Sack of Otogakure. If memory served, she had been one of the first people through the breach once Vivian and Tsuki had opened the gates. He didn't witness much of her battle feats, however, as he had been high-tailing it to the UHV's underground lab at the time to kill the leadership. Regardless, the fact that she had participated at all was a testament to her skill. She also seemed much more...level headed than Chie. More rational. It was a relief that someone around here was.
Shifting his attention to Chie, he had to say he was not impressed so far in what she made herself out to be. She made a lot of assumptions in her judgments. The Kage seemed new to authority- not quite adjusted to being a leader or speaking from a position of power. Her words and the tone with which they were delivered painted her as the person who needed to remind people that she was in charge. Grandiose declarations and rampant assumptions were not tools of the wise. He managed to keep his cool though- despite being insulted a plethora of times. He just hoped Aurelia would manage to do the same; the girl was a little more touchy on subjects dealing with honor and it's ilk than he was at his age.
Once the woman finished speaking, Belamos rose to his feet. He took his hands and ran them through his hair, pushing the shoulder length red behind his neck and inhaling deeply as he closed his eyes "Your hatred blinds you, Uzukage" Reopening them, he shifted his gaze to the other woman "We've met once before- you were battling a man named Skully inside the streets of the UHV. My friend Vivian fought alongside you briefly, although I doubt you two had time to exchange pleasantries. Thanks for that- she would have died had you not stepped in" Now, refocusing back on the reason he was here he continued speaking despite the threats leveled his way- choosing to remark upon the only thing Chie said that truly shocked him "I figured you two were related somehow, although I didn't know to what degree. Takumi was my best friend, like a brother to me. I parted with Kogarashi after the war...Takumi stayed. When I found out Kagami killed him and was manipulating us into this..." He said, extending his hands out to refrence the chaos all around them "I dedicated myself to her death of the destruction of the organization I once led"
He was unused to speaking so much but he suspected this woman would require a lengthy explanation. She seemed like a talker, so talk he would: "I am no rogue as you assume me to be- I am aligned with the Storm Village. But, even more than that, I serve a higher calling: peace." With another inhale, he was finally to the matter at hand. Looking back over his shoulder, he smiled to Aurelia to reassure her that everything was going to be okay before returning back to the two Kunoichi before him "My daughter is my life. I would die for her you understand. I'm not sure if you have children, but if you do you understand. However, if we do not take care of this threat soon then she won't have a free world to grow up in. Now...I need to show you something"
Slowly, with great caution as he was aware of jumpy this lady was, he raised his hand. Once it was about chest level he snapped his fingers. Darkness enveloped around them as Belamos physically bent the spectrum of lights around them. They were standing in a black void, devoid of any features save the bench Aurelia sat on and each other. Out of this darkness materialized the forms of Kagami, Sandayu and Masato. They stood next to Belamos, all staring at Chie. Light sparkled softly in their appearance, betraying the fact that they were mere holograms "You already know Kagami, the Three Tailed Demon Host. She is the leader and mastermind behind...everything" The Hologram Kagami nodded as Sandayu and Masato took a step forward "But I doubt you know about Sandayu. The real power behind the group and, undoubtedly, the greatest threat. He has Occular Powers greater than any I have ever seen and also hosts the Seven-Tailed Demon. Unfortunately, he is also brother to this man..." Masato now nodded "...who attacked my village. Sandayu had brought him into the fold of Kogarashi and seems to be teaching him. They will soon attack the Stormlands and the Whirlpool soon after that." The darkness around them faded, and they were back in the real world

Belamos had a fair point. They had very little clue as to what was going to occur the moment that they could have an audience. She blinked her emerald eyes and looked at the ground in thought. So many places seemed to be so hostile these days. It was a wonder that nobody had attacked them on the boat ride over here. She raised her head back at her father as he spoke about her gift. "We will talk about that when we have some time to ourselves. But, for now, we must keep the knowledge that you have those eyes to ourselves." The child gave her father a gentle pout as he delayed their talk again. She understood the reason for privacy but her excitement towards her late mother's gift was something that made it all the more enticing. Her eyes picked up a massive chakra signature as it nearest them, the crowd of people parting ways as a woman stepped near the both of them. She had bright pink hair, looking down on the both of them with an emotion of great disdain, maybe even disgrace.
"Speak."
It was all that she needed to say to intimidate the already soft child. She leaned into her father more as he began. She admired how unphasable he was to stuff like this. Maybe it came with the age and experience but he could just have a mountain destroyed in front of him and he would brush it off as some kind of irritable breeze. He introduced them both, ruffling her hair which she hated. The child let out a grumpf and straightened out her hair before hopping up from her seat. "Uzukage! It is an honor to meet you in person!" She gave a bow towards Chie, her mother's worn headband dangling from around her neck as the child looked up at her intimidating glare. Her father spoke up again with the same stoic look in his eyes as always. The child sat back down just in time for another person to join her supposedly private conversation. She appeared in a cloak of shadows (which was totally cool and something Aurelia would have died to know how to do) and spoke her mind towards Belamos. The snake accompanying made the child wince preemptively. She hated snakes. How scaly and...not natural they felt.
The conversation appeared to get heated. Chie and Belamos both would not back down from one another. Aurelia sat in the middle, frowning as she wondered what her mother would have done in a time like this. "Please, Mommy. What would you do?..." She asked as Chie would begin to speak again.
""Because you have your daughter with you, I will give you the mercy to flee. I will also house and raise her as a shinobi of Uzushiogakure if you require sanctuary for her. All of her needs would be met, and no harm would come to her."
Her response was instantaneous. "NO!" Aurelia said, looking at Chie with tear ridden eyes. "I'm sorry but no! I won't be separated from him! I lost Mommy because I wasn't there. If I'm not there for Daddy, he'll...I won't be taken away. I'll fight you and everyone. I'll get beaten up a bunch and then get up until I die. I won't let you take Daddy from me." Her tone was as desperate as it looked. The child stood before Chie with a look that matched her father's. Chie would have to work hard to keep her from her father. She would fight tooth and nail.
Aurelia could have went further but her father glanced over at her again and she calmed back down, sitting on the bench again though closer to Belamos. He used another one of his light techniques to show Sandayu as well as a similar explanation to the one he gave Kagami. When he finished, Aurelia would sniffle and nod. "Daddy wouldn't be coming to you if he didn't mean it. This Sandayu guy is very bad. Please don't take this for granted. We all need to work together."

αKya administered those indsidious, spinning tomoe down upon Chie when she called she started speaking, more than a little annoyed by the way she was handling the situation. At her core, Chie very much was still the same, ridiculous little girl she had been back when Sanae has scolded her. Unflinchingly she watched the womanβs features twist in anger, the venom dripping from her words like as though Hiryur hisself has spoken them. The former teacher of the Uzukage bit her tongue almost literally for now, and turned that powerful gaze upon her other pupil, Zahara. Off like the wind and without a word to his sensei.

She held back the pride welling up inside of her as Belamos went to speak, still fidgeting with the shuriken in her hand. He was surprisingly well mannered considering the show of absolute bad temper Chie was on the cusp of brewing. A hand at her shoulder was a signal from Kya to breathe. Her making an outburst would make things much worse potentially.
At her core though it was only for Chie that Kya even cared. At all. To the depths of her being Kya didnβt care for good or evil. Why should anyone? In the end such things mattered only on the periphery. The whims of the strong of will, those in motion, carried weight. Shame that him and Kya would never find time to be friends or common ground on the first place. Agents of peace were, like most men, too easily broken. Lofty goal, making peace. NaKya would rather exist in a realistic world. The one that her god had burdened her with driving towards destiny. Peaceful times would just make everyone weak. Better to be a fighter than a weed. This coming from a blade with no war to fight, however.
She still found what he said intriguing though. A man like this Sandayu could be someone worthy of the test. More importantly... βOh Masato,β she breathes, more than a little irritated. Another person to drop a blade on for doing something pointedly ******** mental. She pinched the bridge of her nose as the world returned to light, and was brought out of her annoyance by the little girls outburst. Her eyes stopped spinning, sharp like a reptiles on her, and her pet did the same. βLady Chie,β she spoke after a few moments of dead air following news that Tsuki was gone from this world too. βMight Insuggest just a bit of introspection over how you choose to proceed. Lots of variables to consider. Quite a lot of intel to consider. Some of which is Outside the obviousβ Her gaze turned back to Belamos. βWhere did you come across that little monster youβre holding hostage. That wasnβt there during the raid.β she spoke as if to accentuate the point to Chie.
With a small snap of reality Kya found herself inside of the waking volcano for just a second, smiling haughtily at the face of the Yonbi, though no indication of it occurred in real world time at all.

While inside the shroud, individuals are essentially rendered blind by the complete lack of light, and deaf by the loss of natural environmental sounds. Chie felt her heart sink when the girl spoke. She clearly loved her father. However, she probably was not aware what kind of liar he was. Chie knew, as Belamos showed more cards than he should have. When Kya mentioned something being tamed, it sealed the deal.
"I have no reason to trust you, especially since you lied about your role in all of this." Chie said sharply. "In her boasting about Kogarashi's power, Kagami informed me that the four tailed demon host already had the ear of the Arashikage, and worked with him to establish a firm Kogarashi grip within the village itself. You are not aligned to the storm village. You took whatever you could, like a parasite, for the sake of your own people. My brother worked the same way. That is what caused him to infiltrate this village to try and steal my students and academy plans for his narcissistic organization." Chie felt as though Kya would not know about the report of Arashigakure which she got from Kagami. After all, with all of the devastation the village endured, it wasn't like she was able to have a heart to heart with her former mentor. "Clearly you didn't want me to know about your demon either, and I'm really not in the business of people who keep secrets from those they claim they want the help of." Although she was judgmental, she was also fair. Belamos, despite his attempts, gave her no reason to trust her. Perhaps he was too wrapped up in his own anger over the actions of Kagami, but that could also just be simply that Kagami sent a dud agent to infiltrate Chie's trust and attack from behind.
"It would jeopardize my whole village to trust you, and if the tables were turned you would not trust me either. Therefore, your options are either to leave now with your daughter, or be taken prisoner for interrogation." Chie could not afford to stew on the information. At any moment more Arashigakure ninja could come in waves to strike her village. Or, Kogarashi may plan a legitimate attack and these three forces which Belamos mentioned may all swing. It was for this reason that Chie could not afford to talk about possibilities with Belamos. He either could leave, surrender peacefully, or be taken by force.

Upon completing this training, the user suffers no recoil damage from techniques from any non-Rigorous Taijutsu or Bukijutsu Style up to either the highest trained rank in this Style or the highest trained rank in the Hard Physical Formless Style, whichever is lower, and does not suffer damage from striking anything harder than their fists. _β Focal Point ___β The user meditates through combat, taking time to narrow their focus to their Chakra pathways. In so doing, they become innately aware of when they are being observed in combat, and can pinpoint the locations of anyone below their rank observing them within one meter. _β Thread Walking ___β By using Chakra to focus the mind, the user becomes able to balance enough on thin platforms to use Bukijutsu techniques without any penalties. Covers only balancing on solid structures at least one inch wide, not moving or unstable structures. Also allows the user to balance and move on wires during its activation. _β Advanced Thread Walking ___β he user is now able to both run and fight while balancing on threads and wires without penalties, though doing these things at the same time is widely regarded as infeasible. _β Blessed Rain ___β The user's informed of the incoming costs of what is to come, and as such, must practice their chakra control through controlled bursts from various parts of their body. Their chakra pool is increased by +35. _β Insight Rain ___β The user will practice extending themselves into the atmosphere, in a sense. After much dedication, the user develops the ability to sense hostile intent in the immediate area. As to where, however, they cannot be sure. _β Torrential Blessings ___β Having completed all that the user may learn, they have but one task left to complete: the user must practice controlling the flow of chakra, and be sure that their control is the finest that it can be. By doing so, they must repeat the exercise performed earlier with Blessed Rain, all the while, they perform technique to the brink of exhaustion. This training receives no reductions. Chakra pool is increased by +65. _β The Task of the Next Generation ___β Upon the master of the school of Shigure Souen Ryu, it's the user's responsibility to develop the next generation! The user is granted one [1] custom slot usable only for a personal Shigure Souen technique. _β Basic Endurance Training ___β The user practices holding any stances they know in the most extreme weather of their region, as far from anyone else as is practical. After completing practice, the Stamina costs of X-Rank techniques in this Style are reduced by 5, down to a minimum cost of 5. _β Extreme Climate Resistance Training ___β The user spends a great deal of time completely immersed in the most intense weather the region has to offer. Following this training, the user does not suffer from adverse climate effects. Additionally, using one or more of the Pi, Qua, and Quan techniques in any combination increases the user's fortitude slightly for one post, to a max of one [1] descriptive rank per trained level in the Soft Physical Formless Style. _β Advanced Endurance Training ___β The user practices holding any stances they know in the most extreme weather of their region, as far from anyone else as is practical. After completing practice, the Stamina costs of techniques in this Style are reduced by half if the practitioner has used the same technique at some point in the last two posts. _β Pi Qua ___β By repeating the transition between the Pi and Qua techniques repeatedly, the user becomes able to perform them quickly enough that starting with one and transitioning into the other only consumes one action for the post, and also cannot be interrupted if the first hits. _β Pi Qua Quan ___β After learning all other techniques in this Style, the practitioner runs through them all again, stringing them together in the longest combo they can. Following this training, the practitioner finds themselves capable of using all techniques in the Style up to the highest learned rank of the Soft Physical Formless Style for 10 less Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina. _β Acclimation ___β The user acclimates to moving in their armor by wearing it during normal daily activities. After completing this training, the user can move in any armor as though it were properly fitted for them personally. This provides one descriptive rank in strength and fortitude to techniques using the armor per stage learned in this Style. _β Shifting Position ___β The user practices their art by moving across a shifting surface--such as sand or mud--with their armor. Following the completion of this training, the user becomes significantly harder to topple while armored; all incoming techniques that would move the user are treated as one rank lower in strength when determining of how far the user is moved, and the user can no longer be toppled by techniques lower in rank than their armor. _β Knight's Blade ___β The user studies and acquaints themselves with the many different types of defensive armaments, from shields to armor to defensive items like the forehead protectors that Shinobi Villages use. In the process, they become able to apply any armor techniques to protective armaments and vice-versa.

When Kagami took over she reached out to me to join back up- turns out she was even more violent. I've cast my lot with Villages. Both of them. And while I do not feel the need to share all of my personal matters and abilities with you that has nothing to do with this conversation. You are searching for something, anything, to validate your opinion of me, Uzukage" At this, he placed his wrists together and extended them outwards, in apparent agreement to be taken prisoner "If you must bind me in order to put stock into what I say then so be it. Perhaps then we can move forward" Looking over his shoulder, he gave Aurelia an 'I'm sorry' kind of smirk. She wouldn't like seeing him being put in chains, but unfortunately, it was necessary. Shifting his attention back to Chie, he continued "I just ask you see to Aurelia while I am detained" The undertext of that statement being the demand not to harm her- for if they did, Evergreen herself would not be able to forestall the destruction of everything this woman held dear.

There was a lot to digest in the coming moments. Aurelia would frown while Chief spoke about the lies of her father. Confused as to what that meant, she looked at him wearing a perplexed expression as the other woman with the mask substantiated the claims. Her father certainly didn't seem to be the most popular person with villages. Of course she probably wouldn't have the beginning of a clue as to what they were talking about since she was with her mother when this was probably going on. The group argued back and forth until it seemed to be coming to a head.
"It would jeopardize my whole village to trust you, and if the tables were turned you would not trust me either."
"If you must bind me in order to put stock into what I say then so be it. Perhaps then we can move forward...I just ask you see to Aurelia while I am detained"
"What? No!" That smirk her father flashed her. She knew it all to well. It was the expression he did when something was going to happen out of her control that he had gotten himself into. "Daddy..." The child huffed, giving him a frustrated pout but soon just shaking her head. She had been with her father long enough to know when he had a plan together in his head. That's what Kings did, right? Aurelia would look somewhat more calm than before but still visibly against having her father taken into custody. "Just...Be careful, okay?" Maybe it wouldn't be all bad. She could get some training or or maybe help around the village some. She wanted to at least get on the Uzu people's good side. Maybe it might even come in handy some day.

αKya made a mental note to check Chie about her tempermental attitude later. She was going about this in such a way that it would cause far too much in the way of friction. Her snakelike glare softened while the new leader spoke, and while she probably also wouldn't have liked to let him leave, the threat was likely also unnecessary. But, that was above her pay grade and as such she turned her attention away from the storm brewing in her own mind over how to get Chie to relax, and instead to the man who likely was regretting coming here at all. His annoyance went ignored by her. If everytime she was frowned at she flinched she'd be a meerkat. Instead she watched for his response, still fiddling with that shuriken in her hand though now a lot more anxiously as she grew slightly more irritated by the second.
One man, not trusted by the Kage, called the woman Chie had chosen to heed a liar and a schemer. Kya was not entirely convinced of anyone's innocence ever but from a logical standpoint... hadn't Kagami come here and been the one who blew up the Central Administration Building? Reports had put that damned rinnegan weilding Demon Falsa at the incident, alongside Kagami and Chie. Without having heard all of what had been said there, she couldn't be sure. It sounded less like Chie was being careful, and more like she was being completely and totally unreasonable. When his hands came out, swift fingers hid away the shuriken, and Kya sighed. She already knew what Chie would order and spoke just after the girl had a chance to.
Contrary to what should be expected, Kya was actually really good with kids. Not to say she was, like, bad with people but she did have a certain air about her that most people wouldn't imagine being conducive to child-care. She moved past Belamos, shifting her head to the side a little as she did so to signal Nava, a girl masked fully but clearly of some relation of her "matching" tattoos and glowing red eyes had anything to say about it, to come down and bind his hands with rope. It wasn't uncomfortable, and it was clearly the kind of thing that was more for show than for restraint, and Nava looked into his eyes with a wink as she tapped them. All the same, Kya rested on the balls of her feet, down to Aurelia's level, and pulled own her mask revealing the whole of her face to her.
Not like anything scared her, or could harm her by knowing what she looked like. "You don't need to worry about him, little one. You can come along. Nothing bad's gonna happen to him," she spoke offering her pinky to the girl. "Promise." Whether she took it or not, Kya, too would offer a wink before patting her shoulder and then standing back and motioning for him to follow her. "I'm going to take him to the Temple. You should busy yourself with our attackers, or set the people at ease while I tend to this, Chie?" she advised, her face, hidden from their guests, something of a hard line. She start walking, and assuming Junko and Sonyo had ever actually made it, bring her along as well. [Exit to Temple unless someone stops me.]

Hydra Clone B Rank At first, the targets of this illusion may believe they are fighting against Kage Bushin clones but when a clone is hit, it splits into two clouds which reform into two new, separate clones. When one of these is hit, the same process occurs. In short order, the target of this technique may quickly come to believe that fighting back against the clones is only making things worse for them and they may attempt to flee or simply defend. Kurayami no Oii [ Shroud of Darkness ] A Rank Requires Ataeru Kanjoo no Jutsu first be known. This Jutsu calls into being a sheet of inky darkness over an area of roughly five hundred square yards in length and 40 yards in height. This mass of darkness cancels all forms of natural light and sound, causing the area to become a perfect inky black. While inside the shroud, individuals are essentially rendered blind by the complete lack of light, and deaf by the loss of natural environmental sounds. However, the creator of the shroud is able to see clearly and unhindered by the loss of sound. If used by A.N.B.U. personal for village defense (non-npc), this jutsu's cost is that of a C-rank. If used by Oinin personal for tracking purposes only, this jutsu's cost is that of a C-rank. Affecting Sight primarily, then Sound and Chakra as well.
