He was actually having fun with the little contest between them. Of course, he knew that neither of them was taking it very seriously- the infrastructure around here wouldn't be able to take such a battle. Still, it was fun to spar with someone who was of a similar skill level. It made him wonder how they would fare against each other should they ever go all out. Alas, he doubted that would ever happen. Now, as Kya launched her attack, Belamos stood his ground. Sliding his hand across the blade of his spear, he smiled as it erupted in brilliant flames. As her attack came spewing out Belamos moved at a high rate of speed, inverting himself so he was now standing on the ceiling behind Kya. His flames on the ground floor had all been extinguished, but he still had the ones on the walls and roof to depend upon. Drawing his arm back, he sighted his target. Quick as a Viper the spear flew from his grip as he pitched his arm forwards, launching the missile like a bolt of lightning down towards, not Kya, but the Orb on which she stood. If it impacted the spear would destroy it's stability, causing the water to fall into the pool below and her along with it. As he threw Belamos began his own fall back to the ground, flipping over to land on his feet.

αKya's eyes remained focused on the position of Belamos as her attack bore down on him, seeing the Vorpal blade activate along the end of his spear via her ability to distinctly see chakra colors and shapes against each other. With that same skill, she saw him moving chakra within his form again and smirked. Such paltry tricks always found their way into even the highest level of combat, and at all levels innovation was rewarded.
Unless it wasn't really innovative. Kya could guess where he went even without the ability to see the trail left by his highspeed movement and as such she already had him back under her gaze when he was prepared to throw his weapon. A quick shift in her footing put her in the line of the attack, and with a pure and brief expression of her power she weaved a quick set of seals in her free hand. He wanted to destroy the orb? No real consequence. He could have it. She was more interested in what his followup would be, and it seemed that he simply wanted to fall. Kya was far too nimble for the spear's chakra edge causing the water ball to deform to matter. She would fact leap sidelong, away from the spear, and to land atop the now rising water on the ground, which would have her hitting the ground around the same time as him. With the seals weaved she would seek to keep him on his toes. Another old trick in the book: the Hidden Mist Technique. "You can move, but can you focus?" she couldn't help but taunt as her form would disappear into the now misty darkness.
And depending on his response she would already be moving the second she was hidden. In her mind there was no mist, she could see him clear as day, and with that advantage another crafting of seals brought to life a pair of clones. And now, to see what he would do with this situation while her copies each flung themselves up and away from her in a V that would quickly seek to put him in betwixt them.

Aurelia stood before the gates of the temple, the towering structure laid out plain before the fair haired child. "This must be the place." She told herself. Her quest for searching for the whereabouts of the temple hadn't gone entirely well when left to her own devices. Of course the village being on lockdown wasn't exactly a swell time in the park either. Still the littlest sun had made due and even managed to convince a member of the guard here into telling her where it was. Aurelia wasn't an idiot though. She made sure her village headband was turned inside out, now looking more like an old oil rage with how many holes and chunks of fabric were gone from it. Not that anybody would question why an Arashi-nin was here, especially one who couldn't probably be past her 6th or 7th birthday. There came hesitation while the genin would look the building over and inhale. "You can do this. Daddy's fine. All you have to do is find him." It was a bad habit of hers, monologuing to herself aloud. Maybe it came from having a revolutionary as a father or maybe she just did it for dramatic effect.
"Okay...Here we go..." Aurelia's legs began to move as she tread closer into the temple steps, each leg conquering the stairs one by one until she rose in the main chamber. A grand set of doorways came to greet he as she slowly opened them as quietly as she could in order to sneak around better. The scene inside was...interesting to say the least. There were quite a few people mulling about but that wasn't the strangest detail. Giant snake heads and adornments were placed around the room, and quite a few people were actually carrying snakes themselves. The sight was a most peculiar one for the child, who tiptoed in as best she could and dove behind the closest thing she could hide behind. Uzugakure must really love snakes. Aurelia thought to herself. She peaked out from behind her hiding place and take another look at thing. Could the people in here be trusted? Everything looked fairly intimidating yet...it somehow intrigued the young girl. The masks, the snake love. AN envious look came to be on her face. Maybe Belamos would let her get a pet one day. Still in hiding she would stay put for now and debate a course of action.

The spearman landed on the ground in a crouched position, satisfied that his attack had at least found partial success. He did not think such an offensive would have much effect on Kya herself, though, and he had been proven right. He kept his eyes on her as he slowly stood straight, smirking as she weaved sign for a technique he was all-too-familiar with: The Hidden Mist Technique. Haji had been a pretty big fan of it when they trained, and Tsuki had even used it a few times in their spars. He was familiar with how it worked and how people tended to use it, so when the thick fog came rolling in Belamos neither moved nor panicked. He knew exactly what to do. He could hear the footsteps of Kya and her clones, for the multiple steps assured him there were in fact clones, closing in around him. "I can see you are well taught in the techniques of the Old Powers, my Lady. I am truly appreciative of this fight" At the conclusion of his sentence a mist of his own creation began to intermingle with Kya's. Where they came into contact, the Hidden Mist Jutsu evaporated. Within seconds the entire area would be clear again...but Belamos didn't bother waiting. A snap of his fingers was all that warned of the incoming attack- a flash of blinding light and a wave of sweltering heat. Belamos exuded a wave of concentrated Scorch Chakra while also turning his body into what seemed like Pure Light. Looking upon his visage would be akin to staring at the Sun- undoubtedly blinding. Still, he restrained his attacks so that, even if Kya were to get hit, she would not be seriously wounded.

αKya was not surprised to see him gathering up chakra for another attack, and as her mind raced at the possibilities for waht to do she realized that this confrontation could only lead to further, and greater, escalation. A sheild appeared between him and Kya, and she merely allowed the clones about to angle their own defenses to be defeated, and then allowed her own shield to just barely defend against the attack and it's brightness. When it faded, she stood clapping, water starting to evacuate from the room already. "And I see you are no pushover indeed, Belamos. At the risk of burning my school to the ground, I believe we should call it here," she spoke flourishing the scythe into place on her back and exhaling.

__ The amalgamation of three revered dojutsu rested upon the large Tori gateway postured at the front yard of the temple grounds. The hike up the mountain had been of no consequence to Sandayu. "So... he's here." He simply scoffed. Belamos continued to disappoint him at every turn. 'I wonder if my fellow demigod wasn't quite as confident in his ability to stop me as he seemed?' He had to assume that the Sun God had come to this village seeking aid for Arashigakure. What would he do if Sandayu just went there now while he was away? Sanda wasn't going to do that, though. No, instead it seemed more worthwhile to see if Belamos might try to earn Uzushio's favor by fighting for them as this village was suddenly left to Kagami's wrath. Sanda could detect a number of what he had to assume were VORTEX operatives in the vicinity. To a certain degree, he hoped any of them were foolish enough to throw away their lives by stepping in front of him as he began walking through the courtyard toward the temple. By now, Belamos would surely have detected the Nanabi jinchuuriki's approach. Sandayu could see that the Sun God was deeper in the temple and seemed to have just finished some kind of spar with another notably strong individual. He wondered if either had taken notice of the small girl who was busy spying on that concluded scene, but hardly gave it much thought.

As Kya blocked his attack, Belamos smirked at her praise. She was wise to call it off. Any longer and this Temple could come crashing down on all of them. With a single hand seal, he dismissed his arsenal of techniques and sent his weapon back to the world of flames from which it came. In a rare sign of respect, Belamos would lower his head to the woman "You are both strong and wise, Kya- this I acknowledge" It was high praise from him. Belamos rarely gave out compliments and even rarer saw fit to deem someone his equal. She was now in a league of people consisting of only his and most dire enemy.
As the thought of Sandayu crossed his head, a bolt of lightning seemed to strike through his psyche as both he and Son Goku felt the familiar processes of the would-be-warlord. He spun on his heels and sprinted to from the interrogation room he was in and towards the antechamber Sandayu was approaching. He gave no explaination for his actions nor requested permission: playtime had passed, in his lollygagging it seemed the war had found him. In the span of a few heartbeats he found himself on the other side of a pair of large oaken doors. The only barriers that seperated him and Sandayu. Belamos was not aware Aurelia was in the room, he was too focused on the danger, but nonetheless his thoughts were of her.
He raised his hands to the doors, feeling the smooth wood beneath his palms. He knew this could be it. They had both vowed that the next time they met it would be in battle. If he was here now, it meant only that. Still, despite his newfound strength he wasn't sure he could win...but he had to. If he died here...Aurelia would be left alone in the world. The last thing he had said to her was that it would be all right and the Sun God would not become a liar in his last word's to his only family. No. He would win. For her, and for Tsuki.
With a shove, Belamos threw the heavy oaken doors aside and stepped confidently into the courtyard, basking in the clear sunlight of the day. He met his opponent's eyes, a harder, more steeled, look to them then when last they met "And so it begins"
__ And so, Belamos came. There was hardly even a moment of hesitation upon pushing open the doors after having barged his way past the VORTEX security and whatever other obstacles there might've been from where the Sun God had apparently been detained. Sandayu's expression gave no indication of anxiety or thrill- just pure focus. A sphere of abyssal black chakra formed just behind and angled above his left shoulder, one of the six that formed shortly thereafter. Sandayu planted his seemingly apathetic stance halfway through the front courtyard of the temple grounds. He exchanged a somewhat hostile gaze with Belamos while taking note of a rather strange occurrence back at the academy between Kagami and the Uzukage. "How anticlimactic, this village's died so easily." He finished mumbling a conflicted praise for Kagami's quickly-claimed triumph. "If that's the strongest of this village... hmph." Seriously though. What could this fragile little island village do to protect themselves if their leader could be ended in a matter of moments? Rolling his neck to stretch a little, he called over to Belamos, "You haven't been slacking with your preparations, have you?" Sandayu was ready to get a little exercise by clashing with the Sun God. It was clear that his intended foe was a little worn out, but hardly incapable of offering a challenge. Sanda took no chances by relying on his guts and training, despite his natural power and talent. The six Truth-Seeking Orbs and his Dokushinjutsu techniques would give him all he needed beyond his eyes to react to an attack.

Suddenly, Aurelia felt a massive presence coming from right behind her. She ducked down lower in her hiding spot as the sounds of doors opening to the courtyard open. It didn't take much to know that this person was fairly bad news. Something about it made her doubt that they were coming here for just some afternoon tea and meditation. The child turned around and got a partial look at Sandayu as he stepped forward through the courtyard. The doors to the temple were thrown open as her father came barreling out and met the man who had come from parts unknown. A ball of black chakra was behind Belamos's opponent. Aurelia frowned. Here she was, hidden by table near the back as she was at Sandayu's side. "Gotta help, Daddy, but how?..." The situation wasn't exactly one for hesitation to occur and she would only get one true shot at a surprise attack. Aurelia took a deep breath and activated her rinnegan, the emerald color fading as her mother's gift would manifest yet again.
She stood up from her hiding place making the snake hand seal as the jutsu would go into effect. Three spike headed chains erupted from her right hand, swirling around as they snaked in the air, aiming to ensnare Sandyu where he stood. "Daddy, now!" She cried out to Belamos, hoping her little distraction would have some benefit to it.

The user of the Outer Path may manifest a physical form of fuuinjutsu from their body. This takes the shape of purplish ring-linked chains which can reach as far as 100ft from their self; each link has a shaped spike on each side of itself and the top end of the chain has a blade designed to get stuck into whatever it pierces. Up to three chains can be created per use of this technique. The chains can be controlled to move as the creator wills for the sake of binding and attacking foes. Anyone/anything wrapped up by the chain(s) will loose the ability to mold and control chakra.

This was not a good situation to be in. All in all, he was barely above half strength after his fight with Kya. To take on Sandayu in this state...well, victory wouldn't have been assured even under the best of circumstances. His only hope would be to hold him here until help could arrive and withstand his blows the best he could. Belamos extended his arms out in a sweeping flourish as his opponent summoned his weapons. As soon as he did, the entire area surrounding them caught fire. Even the stone seemed to somehow be flammable enough to fuel the intense flames. Oddly enough, the fire did not seem to burn Sandayu but rather exuded an intense heat. With his chakra sense, his opponent would quickly realize that these flames, while born of chakra, were, in fact, natural fires. Their only special property was the increased heat the omitted and, compared with the second Sun which had apparently materialized in the air, it was getting very hot indeed.
The Sun God was careful to avoid looking into Sandayu's blackened eyes- he knew the visual prowess those things held and did not want to get trapped in some infernal genjutsu this easily. He was about to launch into an even more devestating attack when he heard a small, familiar, voice ring out. A voice he knew.
In a fit of panic, he found her- Aurelia. She was toward's the side of the temple hiding behind a large pillar. As she cried out and launched her attack, Belamos screamed in return "Aurelia! No!" He bolted towards her as her chains closed in on Sandayu. He would recognize her eyes. He would see her potential. Belamos raced to put himself between her and the monster. He ran to protect his last love.

__ Sandayu was glad nothing more needed to be said between them. He heeded the knowledge shared by his opponent with the established Dokushinjutsu technique. The coming tactics of a technique to set the area ablaze in a moment were communicated clearly from Belamos' thoughts. Sanda reacted to the Sun God's doubt and desperation to stall and weaken him accordingly. The first-created truth seeking orb melded over his body to ward off the heat like a highly insulated armor. No previous features of his visage remained under the fitting and deceptively thin protection he adorned; Sanda was able to rely on his Byakugan to retain vision of his surroundings despite his immediate field of view being completely blinded. Only the thinned areas around his ears, mouth, and nostrils gave weak points to his empowered garbs.
To his surprise, however, the girl that he thought inconsequential to this situation unleashed the power of the Outer Path as a paltry attempt to restrain the son of Evergreen. Belamos' heightened fear, not for himself but for her, only made the development all the more pressing. Sandayu appeared to be apathetically standing where he was when Belamos averted his attention, but at the same time now stood behind Aurelia. He evaded the weakly cast Outer Path Chains ability and closed the distance to her at speeds that made the body flicker technique look like half-hearted jog thanks to his Movement of Steel technique mastered from the Hagane no Shunkan style. Belamos would just finish calling out to his precious daughter as Sandayu reached out at speeds with the Tendo no Fuuki style's Wrist Movement skill that also rivaled the Shunshin technique's speeds, and then some. If the girl failed to evade his hand as it would come to grip the nape of her neck as quickly as only a miracle could deter, then she would feel every bit of her chakra drained from her body with the Preta Path's Leach Touch power. She'd be alive, of course, but undoubtedly incapacitated. At the same time, Sandayu's remaining five Truth Seeking Orbs took hardly a breath's time longer to form into large orbiting blades that would prevent Belamos' approach. "The Rinnegan, huh?" He sighed a praising breath for Belamos' genetics, or at least to whoever the mother was if it weren't his doing, "Interesting." Sanda smirked from behind his mask, already considering in contempt what potential there was in this child if he were to oversee her development. Could Belamos wrest his daughter from this monstrous foe before Aurelia was subjected to such a fate?

Aurelia would be startled as the technique would miss completely, Sandayu's form flickering away before the chains could even connection. "Huh?" The genin looked there, stunned as Belamos would yell out to her. A hand would bring her into the air as Aurelia would yelp out and try to squirm out of Sandayu's grasp. "Dah-" A suction came from the back of her nack where the man was holding her. All of her chakra was...going. Her eyes would fall as the child's cry would sputter into a mumble shortly after. "daaaaaady..." The light was fading and soon young Aurelia was knocked unconscious in the hands of Sandayu.
Aurelia came to in room. One that she recognized from when she was a baby. It was her room from where she had grown up during her time in Otogakure. The walls of her room, her stuffed animals, it was like a realistic recreation from scratch! She stood up from her seat and would hold her head while looking around. "D-Daddy?" She asked. As if on cue, the sliding door would open to reveal her mother, dressed in the garb she wore when not on active duty. Her eyes would fill with tears, racing over to the woman as she cried.
"Mommy!"
"It's so wonderful to see you again, sweetie."
After a long embrace, Aurelia and her would be seat at the table and she poured tea for herself and milk for her. The child was treated to a cookie and would think her words over as her mother would simply remain quiet and sip her tea, sometimes even smiling at Aurelia.
"Mommy, am I..."
"Dead?" she finished her daughter's sentence. "That depends on what you mean, dear. What's the last thing you remember?"
"Ummm, I was trying to help Daddy and then some man picked me up and sucked stuff out of me."
Tsukina laughed to herself as Aurelia would give a pout. "I get what you mean. You aren't dead, just...taking a nap for a while."
"So this is just a dream?"
"It can be, if that's what you would prefer, Aurelia." Her mother got and and paced around the table some before coming to rest beside her daughter as she would stroke her hair. It felt nice, even if it was or wasn't real. All she could do was to wait and enjoy what time she had left.

The user of the Outer Path may manifest a physical form of fuuinjutsu from their body. This takes the shape of purplish ring-linked chains which can reach as far as 100ft from their self; each link has a shaped spike on each side of itself and the top end of the chain has a blade designed to get stuck into whatever it pierces. Up to three chains can be created per use of this technique. The chains can be controlled to move as the creator wills for the sake of binding and attacking foes. Anyone/anything wrapped up by the chain(s) will loose the ability to mold and control chakra.

Time seemed to slow as Sandayu reached her. His daughter. His everything. She was in trouble. He has promised he would take everything from him...and he was doing it. The beast inside him stirred, moved to live by the primal rage that was now brought back to the surfacein his heart. The Volcano that Son Goku called his home within Belamos's body erupted in a firey explosion- a powerful metaphore to the Spearman's own feelings. In a roar of defiance, the Monkey King pounded his chest with his great fists and let open the floodgates of his power in response to his friend's silent plea. On one footstep, Belamos was normal. By the time the next one hit, he was wreathed in a cloak of fire. With this, he moved at speeds even greater than Sandayu's. The man had beaten him to his daughter and even prepared some defenses, but he would not be stopped.
"OUT OF MY WAY!"
He yelled out, his voice a mixture of his and Son Goku's, He blinked between the blades in a fraction of a second. Still, all this was for nothing. He cared little if any of these attacks succeeded or failed. His reached out, using all his speed, all his strength, and wrapped his daughter in his arms. He used every last ounce of his powe to tear her away from him and would come sliding to a halt a few meters away if he succeeded. Once free, Sandayu would find the fire beneath him rise up to meet him in a great explosion that would sillouette Belamos from behind. That is, of course, if this worked...

αIt was the shouts of Belamos that drew Kya from her temple, only to find it beset by a stranger in white who was attempting to grab the Sun godβs daughter. A cold fury welled up inside her, not only at Aurielaβs mistreatment, but that this man saw fit to defile her temple in such a manner. With the time for words being over Kya instead retrieved a solid black flute and began to play a tune that would echo across the battlefield. Upon hearing it Sandayu would find himself locked in chains that erupted from the ground to restrain him. Though these were only an illusion, her skill in falsifying the appearance of chakra ensured that even with a doujutsu he would not be able to tell the creations were in his mind. Furthermore, Kya would not just be sitting on her hands while she played music. Shifting the lens of her eyes Kya made an attempt at bending the space around the intruder although Belamosβs blinding rage prevented her from focusing well enough.

__ The girl was as easily handled as expected. Her body became limp in his grip and his Byakugan allowed him to pay further mind to all in the vicinity. Belamos' rage seemed to peak as he infused himself with the detestable power of the bijuu. The reinforcement of Kya was a matter which would be addressed after the fact that Belamos' superbly focused attack phased through Sanda's body- almost as if he wasn't actually there. In fact, Belamos himself would pass through both himself and Aurelia as he attempted to retrieve the girl and the finishing blast would likewise fail to actually connect. The sound-based restraining illusion could finally reach Sandayu's ears as the violent ruckus died down after his fellow demigod's desperation yielded no result. He doubted that woman capable of enacting what seemed like ninjutsu across space-time, which led him to believe that the only way she could have gotten him was through a genjutsu likely cast through the sound of that flute. It didn't matter right away since neither of him or his captive could be interacted with by those in this dimensional plane for the time being- even by the Kamui rift being prepared by Kya. "Hmph." He scoffed as he utilized his Omniscience skill further to transfer the invasive sensory effects to his Shadow Clone that was overseeing matters in Kamui. Instead of him, it would become bound by the Phantom Sound Chains; however that wouldn't last long as the Nanabi's power was used to be freed of the genjutsu.
One of the other Truth Seeking Orbs formed a spherical barrier around the unconscious girl and it would ascend into the sky. Three of the Truth Seeking Orbs faded away as he deemed them unnecessary for this fight. Like before, the Movement of Steel left an afterimage where he previously stood while reappearing in front of Kya at speeds in their own league from that of the Shunshin technique. His freed right hand lashed out at speeds which also rivaled the Shunshin as he attempted to grab Kya by the neck and switched the Preta Path for the Deva Path. Escape would become that much harder as Bansho Ten'in was enacted to pull her right into his deadly grip. The Truth Seeking Orb worn over his body like armor threatened the temple guardian with extreme harm from the disintegrating effects of grinding high-frequencies. He'd worry about Belamos if- or rather, when the Sun God jumped back into the fray with another hopeless endeavor. 'It seems that Masato is running amok. I better not take too much time here then.' Sandayu thought to himself as he considered going all out to put this opposition to a quick rest.
