Fresh out of the hospital, Emiko walked towards the residential district and would keep an eye out for her male friend. "Yoshi!" She called out, scurrying past a group of people talking and then a little more towards the square. "Yo-Yo-Yoshiiii!" It wasn't long before he poked his head around a corner in a wary fashion. The girl hurried over and would shoe him the unopened scroll in her arm, smiling widely. "There you are! C'mon, Kairi gave us an important mission to do! We gotta go to the village secretary and turn this in." While not so keen on what it was that was bugging the boy but she would drag him along to the office.

Niko Hatake:Niko... Uchiha?! The Mysterious Red Eye!
Niko and Hisashi made it home and fell asleep right off the bat. They would stay asleep and wake up later than normal, but still pretty early. Niko wasn't upset like the other day, but still a lot of her day had been cut, and she was tired from all the work she had done recently. Niko decided she would use today for light training and exercise. She started with a scroll the Ryota left for her. It was for a style utilizing the katana. Niko was no stranger to the katana but learning a new style never hurt anyone. It just made her that much stronger.
"Rain?" Niko would read the titles of the techniques in the style. She was unsure but the "rain" gimmick must have meant something. Niko began reading the first technique. Basically it was a feint attack. A quick fake out, then boom, counterattack. It was an effective move and could be used with a lot of precision. Niko moved on after getting it down in theory.
The next technique was just a distraction, simply throwing a bit of elemental chakra at the opponent. The was a minor slash involved but that was just to get the burst off to create space. Not a damaging move, and very limited, it was good for quick off guard escapes. In theory, this move could distract long enough to escape or cause a finishing blow. It was unsure as to how Niko would use this move, but she was bound to find a way.
Finally was a slash downward causing a mist to arise from the users charka. The point of the attack is to miss actually and create some separation from the opponent. The mist gets stronger as she did, but the move itself was not for the attack. However, with that distraction, she would be able to open up opponents easier and without having to expend much energy.
With that, Niko continued on. She would do so however, at another location, one she had not decided on yet. She got dressed after bathing and motioned to Hisashi. With a yawn he got up and followed Niko out the door.

~THE CHOUGA CHRONICLES~ -A tale of a now simple postman's path to redemption through the writings of the ones of whom he wronged- To: The Uzukage From: Chiaki Hinamori "I'm writing this letter to you in regards to a man named Chouga Atsui. He came to my house yesterday. My parents weren't home and when I saw his face I couldn't help but cower in corner. I was after all one of his first victims that night based on recent knowledge. I can still remember that look in his red eyes. It made me feel both violated and terrified. It made me realize how cows must feel before they're killed. That aside, he said that essentially on your order he was here. So at first I intended to send you a letter expressing my dissatisfaction in your governance. However, I decided to change my mind and rescind that notion...and express my appreciation. He may have entered my house uninvited but I didn't expect him to start bowing his head and crying. It was a bit..surreal If I'm being honest. Upon making me tea we had a rather enlightening conversation. To summarize, I've been given a closure I was uncertain I'd ever attain. That closure provided by truly how pathetic but genuinely kind he turned out to be despite his looks. Honestly I would have executed him already but I find your patience in regards his 'sentence' inspiring." To: The Uzukage From: Shin Takahara "Hey so, my name is Shin. I heard about you sending mothman to come cheer us up. Just wanted to say thanks. He's uh what can I say? Kinda cool I guess? I mean I'm the type to not let anything bring me down y'know. I didn't really want revenge or anything like that. HECK. I was just glad to be alive! Still though guy can really punch. He showed me how to punch a rock in half. It was pretty rad to say the least. I really didn't have much of beef with him to begin with. I mean I was pretty satisfied when he sent us all them gift baskets with chocolate. I just wanted to send you this letter because he mentioned how he wasn't a ninja anymore. I understand and all what he did was messed up, but I was just wanting to say that I think he should have his job back."
To: Chouga Atsui From: Naoto Hirogane "I wanted to send you a thank you note. I really can't eat normal chocolate so I really appreciate you going out of your way to get me sugar free instead. I know you think you're really awful for what you did but I just wanted to tell you that everything is alright. Well...the nurse had to change the bed sheets because you cried all over them but that's okay. It was good to have company even if you were my attacker. Haha its kinda funny you know...I may have almost kind of liked it? N..Now don't get me wrong you know. It's just that boys don't really look at me that often because I'm so plain looking. I'm sorry this must be really weird to read. I mean I'm only fifteen your an adult. Maybe in a few years you know? Um. Nevermind. Just take care of yourself okay. Don't be afraid to visit."
To: Chouga Atsui From: Nanako Honamura "Now you listen here you piece of s**t! If you think you can just get away with leaving without saying goodbye first you got another thing coming! I expect that chiseled a** of yours to be here tomorrow morning got it! You've done more than my dads done in six years and you just up and leave!? Alright...I get it the touching your abs thing a lot was a little weird but can you blame me..IM A TEENAGE GIRL FOR SHITS SAKE! You waltzed in here cleaned the place up, did my dads laundry, and made me lunch! It's your own damn fault for caring so much that I'm pissed. I can't even feel the stinkin bite anymore. HELL YOU CAN BITE ME AGAIN IF YOU WANT JUST GET YER BUNS BACK HERE ASAP! ...I just..I already miss you man." -Side note- As I read the letter I couldn't help but reminisce just how terrifying that girl was compared to myself even then. How I even managed suck her blood without first getting my face bit off was a mystery..I'm never going back to that house but I suppose a healthy acquaintance would be fine. It would do her well to have a positive role model in her life...lord knows her father isn't one. I wonder if I'll ever get the smell of alcohol out of my clothes.
To: Choke a Atsui From: Gintaro Yata "So I just wanted ta say sorry. But thanks again for letting me beat the living s**t out of ya. I realize I may have been a bit too rough which is why I'm saying sorry in the first place. Because you know...I felt bad. Not gonna say you didn't deserve it though. My neck still hurts. So yeah good luck getting your job back I guess." -Side Note- He certainly wasn't kidding about being too rough. I had at least twenty or so bruises on my body. Still by allowing him to vent his agressions he's seemed to recover from the ordeal. After all when I first confronted him he rightly tried to run away until I explained my intentions. Gintaro..he was certainly rough around the edges but I could tell he had a good heart beneath it. "Ow." Even if it was a little harsh to write my name the way he did referencing what I had to endure. Still this was a small price to pay for my sins of that night.
To: The Uzukage From: Iden Namatame "To whom it may concern. This is a performance examination of one Chouga Atsui. With one Iden Namatame acting as observer. When the man whom assaulted me that fateful night approached me whilst I was studying in the academy library I could not help but be caught by surprise. With the bandage around my neck and his clear lack of general hostility I was fully able to deduce that he identified me as one of the victims involved in his battery of students. I was also further able to identify the likely cause of him conversing with my person was that he sought some form of closure. His previous method of offering a gift basket containing chocolates of which I assumed were sent to all the students not unlike myself I found lacked in genuine nature. However, his desire to meet with me directly I found an admirable attempt at righting a wrong. He would gratefully accept in my request for his assistance in finding a particular novel of which I was having difficulty gaining access to. Overall his performance in making amends while it was lacking in professionalism was acceptable and met up to my standards. -side note- little would the Kage know that despite a 'Mr.Gintaro's' professionalism in his writings the so called 'novel' of which he requested assistance in attaining was an erotic one. A secret kept between himself and Chouga. 6/17 Students Reconciled

__ At last, the village seemed to be at peace once again. Relieved that the strange possessive energies affecting her comrades and friends had subsided, Zhi felt it was safe to come out of hiding. Her clones were dismissed and she gained the little natural energy they'd gathered thus far. She felt bad for staying out of the final battle with the one that caused the entire affair, but watching her comrades pull their resources to achieve victory was a worth the while to spectate.
Her personally touched skills were developed and reasonably refined, giving her leeway to venture from her hiding. A quick survey of the area revealed several options for her to pursue. For now, though, she felt it necessary to continue her training and finish mastering her techniques. The dojo would assuredly be her next stop.

~THE CHOUGA CHRONICLES~ -A tale of a now simple postman's path to redemption by awakening fires in the ones of whom he's wronged- Scarier Than You -Ayako Yajima- Some students were harder to find than others. Ayako was one of those particular cases. No matter how many times I visited the residence there was nobody home. Using the other students I had as a network I would eventually discover she frequented a local park. A lone girl swung on the swings. "Yo." I'd wave to break the ice and make my presence known. Although she wouldn't even look my direction. She seemed dead set on staring at her feet as she swung. I couldn't blame her for doing so. Although she was the first to ignore me entirely. I sat on the other swing. My glutes clearly much to big for the thing as the set creaked from the extra weight. I wanted to say something. But up until now it had usually been the student who threw in the first word either with surprise or terror. So what would be an awkward silence for a round of two minutes as the sound of the swing continued to creak back and forth. But then she spoke...but I wasn't ready for what she said. "Why didn't you finish the job?" confused I could only assume she meant why I hadn't killed her then. Floundering looking for words. "I uh..well you see. It was resisting best I could. Had any of you died...well.""If you just finished the job I wouldn't have to be here anymore.""hUnng? Wait you mean..?""Yeah, I'd be dead. I wouldn't have to worry about living anymore.""I er..mmm..n Now why would you want that?""Just look. The other villages have fallen apart, our previous kage abandoned us like the other kages, my parents are never home scraping by paycheck to paycheck, all I'm doing is making living harder for them, and with the state the world is in right now... You were just some crazed shinobi. Compared to life...just living is Scarier than You. So.." The girl would stop swinging, her voice was tired through the whole time she was talking to me. She would look me dead in the eyes with an stare that could shatter steel, being on the swing she felt three times my size. "So finish what you started." I stood up. I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Alright. I will. Let's go for a walk first." Reluctantly I somehow convinced her to agree. From the park we began our leisurely stroll through the city. She looked at her feet the whole time. "Why did you want to become shinobi.""I don't know, to make money. Save lives? None of that matters. Everyone's going to die anyway and the fact people even need money just to survive..*despondent sigh*. Its all pointless like this conversation. How much longer. I didn't ask for a slow painful death.""Not much longer." My eyes narrowed as we reached our destination, that being the hospital. Of course naturally she'd look up to see where we were only to express her distaste. "Why are we at the hospital? If your planning on making me feel bad by showing me sick people it won't work." I placed both my hands on her shoulders firmly and crouched until we were eye level. "I'm finishing what I started." Standing up taking her by the hand she was clearly too confused to resist. "As a person whose lived his whole life following a routine I'm the last person who could inspire you to change your way of thinking. You've still got parents that work everyday for your sake. I may not be able to help you all that much but these folks can.""It's not going to change anything!" she broke free of grip more violently than I expected her to. Her quiet voice had increased in volume but shook with the forming of tears. I wasn't really that much of an assertive type but I knew if I didn't do or say something here like I did back at the park it wouldn't end well. So for the first time in a long time a spoke like my father. Raising my voice but refraining from shouting. "YOU THINK LIFES SCARY! s**t! YOU'VE BARELY EVEN LIVED IT KID! YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT ELSE IS SCARY? BEING A PARENT AND FINDING YOUR KIDS CORPSE AND HAVING NO IDEA WHY THEY'RE DEAD THINKIN IT WAS YOUR FAULT. YOU TELL ME WHAT'S WORSE THAT OR A TAX COLLECTOR!? YOU THINK AINT NOTHING IS GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WELL HOW D'YA YOU EVEN KNOW THAT WHEN YOU AINT EVEN TRYING! YOU WANT SOMETHING TO CHANGE WELL HERE'S WHERE YOU TAKE THE FIRST STEP!" she was shaken clearly but once my voice grew silent again she looked back down at her feet sniffling. "I just...I just don't know what to do anymore...I'm scared...I don..I dont.. I walked up an gave the girl a hug pulling her into the side of my fluffed coat as she began to sob patting her on the back...was I too rough? I decided to reassure her the best I could. "Listen...I'm sorry for raising my voice. I'm not that good at these kind of things. How about we go inside huh.""Will..will you...*sniiiffle* *cough* come with me?""Y..Yeah. Of course." After going inside and Ayako getting comfortable with the psychiatric doctor. She dismissed herself..only after thanking me. Once I was out of of her earshot and the soundproof door closed behind me I keeled over the nearest counter and started bawling myself. Trying to keep up that tough guy facade for Ayako's sake had really pushed my chest to its breaking point. Today would end with me concerning a lot of the medical staff and Ayako asking me if I was alright of all things when I escorted her home.
A Coconuts Perseverance -Tadaso Akagawa- I would find the young Akagawa where I had found him that night. The Dojo. Sure enough despite everything he was still punching the same sandbag he was that day as well. Sweat stained the floor, evidence he'd been here for a good long while. Still as I approached him...I had to refrain from snickering as childish as it was of me his hair...the way it was cut...could be compared to nothing else but a coconut. Before I could even say a word "Yeah what do you want?""Ah. Tadaso. My name is Chouga Atsui. I was the one who attacked you the night of...""Yeah I know, the guy who sent the chocolates. I don't eat that stuff. Makes you fat. If you wanna make it up to me or whatever your here for you can get out. You're distracting me from my training.""I uh..see. Training for graduation then. I'll just...""Graduation. Screw that I'm training to kick that damn Shuichi Uchiha a**.'"Ah..well. I can see how tha.." His punches and kicks grew more violent as his words were overshadowing mine. "Always calling me names n s**t! Just cause he has the Sharingan he thinks he's tough s**t. Always beating me up. This time I'll show him just what us normal folks can do! He was born with those cheating eyes, bet he's never worked hard in his life.""Oh..okay. I see how it is.""Like hell you do! You may have different last name but I know your an Akmichi, another s**t born into a privileged life while we kids with no bloodlines have to work our asses off to even compare as shinobi." clearly the kid had some aggressions. I was no teacher but even I knew these aggression spelled bad news, not to mentions this supposed bullying going on. Naturally he likely didn't want me around but I decided maybe I could play this hand out in my favor. As I made way for the exit and turned around. "Oh. Kay. Got Ya. Alright then. I get your point but if what your going up against is a so called piece of s**t privileged bloodline then maybe it would do you some good to fight someone with a piece of s**t privileged bloodline. Looking at me Tadaso's fire burned harder than it ever did as he kicked the punching bag to where it fell off its hinge. "Alright grandpa! Hope you brought it because I'm about to bring it!" I would then fight Tadaso the difference in strength was apparent but he didn't slow down. All the while not once had I used my Akmichi bloodline. My arms were certainly getting sore from all the blocking I was doing. At the end of the day Tadaso had tired himself out. Offering my hand to help him up he got up dejected. "I know what you did. Showing me that bloodlines don't matter. That doesn't change the fact it still sucks.""I gotta say, you gave me a good run for still being an undergraduate kid. Still life has never been fair but you have something kids who were born into talent don't have. Passion. I'm pretty sure Sharingan or not that Shuichi will have to acknowledge you whether he likes it or not if he starts slacking off. Oh also. Maybe instead of picking fights with him maybe you two can actually talk with one another about him calling you names, if not tell Chie-chan.""Yeah I guess you have a point...and did you just call Chie-sensei chan? What are you going out or something huh big guy huh? I think I'll tell her you called her that on top of the bullying.""Haha" I made a fake laugh as I grabbed the arm Tadaso was using to poke my abs with before my nostrils flared and eyes narrowed. "Not if you wanna keep your arm you won't.""GAHH OKAY KIDDING I WAS KIDDING." letting go as if nothing had happened I would wave Tadayo goodbye. "You take care kid.""Y..you to Chouga sensei..ow...man I'm gonna kick his a** to someday." Mans gotta lay down the law sometimes when certain subjects are brought up...uh...it only then occurred to me I should have taken a firmer stance on bullying as in that instance I sort of..became the bully. Hopefully Tadayo would be a good sport about it.
A Foreign Affair -Cherlene Forscythe- Popping up from behind the girl of whom I believed to be Cherelene she was behind a bush doing...something. "Ah hello there are you..." I'd suddenly find myself grabbed and pulled into the bush with the girls hand over my mouth. "Shhhhhhhhhhhh are you stupid were gonna get caught." Seemed the last thing on this girls mind was the incident that happened that night. Her japanese also sounded somewhat broken but understandable. "Look" shoving my head through the bush with her, of course I didn't know who it was I was looking at but he seemed to be a relatively pale skinned good looking boy by societal standards. He looked a bit lonely though training by himself. "And that is?" I'd questionably ask to my later regret. "What how do you not know! Thats Juichi Oogami literally the hunkiest and smartest boy at the academy who are...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" finally turning her head to acknowledge who I was she screamed at the top of her lungs falling through the bush as I held my hands against my ears. This obviously attracted the attention of the boy who after a moment of realization noticed the girl and ran up to her 'Cher! Are you alright?!' Too stunned to speak properly either by his presence or mine her broken japanese was incomprehensible "Iuhga..ch..mo.ben..sssa..saa. Juju." clearly this is where I had to step in. Emerging from the brush with sticks in my hair I'd raise my hand my face stone like in appearance "Yo." 'Iguaaaaaaah...The Mailman!?' Clearly I caught the boy by surprise but I offered him my hand in exchange for a handshake. Where he reluctantly accepted as the mood shifted to almost too normal. "Chouga Atsui how do you do." 'Juichi Oogami fine and you?' suddenly the girl on the ground used my coat to prop herself up. "HEY DON'T IGNORE ME!" 'Cher-chan. Sorry about that what's going on?' The girl turned red obviously she couldn't explain to him that she was spying on him moreover she would try to explain herself but she was speaking really broken japglish. 'I...I'm sorry I don't understand?' I'd feel a kick on my shin enough to rival a taijustu masters that got my attention the girl looked at me as if to say this was my fault and I should help her...it was damn fortunate I'd studied english. She began speaking and so thusly I began translating. "She says she'd sorry about disturbing you. That she was just training and happened to be around and that a spider startled her....oooh and" Of course when I said spider she meant creepy freak. As she continued to talk she intended to end the conversation with sorry I'm going to go do homework now. I wasn't having any of that. It was time to lay on the Chou charm. "and she was wondering if you had plans later this evening and if not if you'd be inclined to go on a date?" 'Oh...uh wow. Really? Haha. I've never been asked out on a date before. So yeah sure Cher. How about that Yakiniku place that just opened up? Tonight at nine? OH CRAP I FORGOT TO THE HOMEWORK CHIE ASSIGNED. I gotta go alright! See you tonight Cher!' Juuichi would then thusly run off rapidly before any word could be said in edgewise. Chouga looked down at Cherelene who had her fists clenched and seemed to be fuming red. "Well that went better than expec..HUAAAAAAA" A never knew a girl so small could pack such a powerful punch not even my abs as rock hard as they were resisted such a furious impact. Her japanese returning to normal as she stomped her foot. "You're a jerk...but...thanks. Well I gotta date I have to get ready for thanks to you. See ya later mailman sensei" Still holding my stomach I waved her off. This was an additional reminder. Never anger women. Hopefully she'll be able to keep herself together on that date.
A Date with Destiny -Kioko Furukawa - Looking at the piece of paper in my hand I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. This was the only way the girl would agree to meet me. Tracking her down was harder than anything, not even my connection with the other students helped, apparently this Kioko was notorious for ditching class her address also lead to a house that was foreclosed apparently three years ago and was never updated..."Just a water." The other side of a table as the waitress brought me a water I'd pinch the bridge of nose and eyes before I'd hear a rather bemused voice say from behind me "Good your here!" turning around I'd see a young girl dressed in a manner that I would say waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to promiscuous for a girl her age. Incredibly short shorts, a lot of but at least skillfully applied makeup, a top that left nothing to the imagination that accentuated the chest. SHE WAS FIF FREAKIN TEEN! A bead of sweat forming as I addressed her. "You must be K...Kioko. I.." "Shush your name is Ryuji, your part of the Uzukage's super secret elite assassins, your hobbies include skydiving, bear wrestling, and working out daily understood..oh and your great in bed. Now hurry they're coming. Without warning the girl would sit next to me and cling to my arm. I didn't have any time to process this whatsoever. "W..wuh?" Suddenly two other girls arrived looking just as scantily although they look somewhat older maybe eighteen and nineteen? 'Wooooooooooooow Kio. You weren't lying you really did score yourself a piece' the eighteen year old woman started squeezing my bicep as I started to sweat with my eyes desperately wanting to roll into the back of my head. WHAT THE HELL WAS HAPPENING. It was then Kioko slapped the girls hand off with a feisty "Back off hoe. He's my man." 'Daaaayum girl. Alright chill.' the two girls sat down they ordered alcohol showing their identification which to my eyes seemed a little on the fraudulent side. Putting her feet on the table the Nineteen year old started started staring me down. 'So you gotta name hot stuff?' These were the women my mother warned me about. I looked down for the moment at Kioko who then looked at me with a fierce glare of judgement. Looking back at the nineteen year old girl. "R...Ryuji." 'Whoa that's a pretty badass name I think it means dragon or something.' 'So is that a reference to what's in your pants?' "Haha yeah, my boyfriend's great in bed." 'Oh really you must be havin lotsa fun huh Kio?' boyfriend...great in bed...I hadn't even kissed a woman. I tried to get a drink of water before I felt something beneath the table moving up my thigh. A heel rubbing against it before I choked on the water causing whose ever foot it was to go back. I felt a pinch on my side from Kioko who whispered. "You're blowing it." Suddenly the alcohol arrived the two girls were about to take their swigs before looking at Kioko 'What you ain't drinken Kio? Your boyfriends fronting your tab right?' Kioko looked at me pleadingly. I took a deep breathe closed my eyes. I'd always wanted a daughter of my own. To imagine my own daughter doing something like this when and if I ever had one. I could stay silent no longer I rose fiercely and slammed by hands on the table then pointed at the delinquent damsels in front of me. The waitress jumped. "Now you listen here! I ain't frontin anyones tab. Look at yourselves your parents would be ashamed of you. Going out dressing like that and drink'n hard liquor!" 'Eh? Suddenly the nineteen year old would slam the table and meet me eye to eye. 'YEAH WELL GUESS WHAT SOME OF US DON'T GOT PARENTS TO BE ASHAMED OF US! SO I'D SHUT YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH IF I WAS YOU!' I was taken aback by the way she stood up to oppose me without a second thought. Meanwhile her companion just seemed to have ignored me entirely with her face in the glass. Only after she downed the alcohol did she say anything. 'Wow Kio I didn't know your boyfriend was such a tool. Being that super lame preachy type really loses him out major points. Hey Chi lets bounce before they call the cops because of the drama queen' 'Yeah ******** this, I don't need some s**t stain telling me how to live my life...and Kio yer totally out and you ain't ever getting in either you can blame yer boyfriend for that.' After downing her own glass they started to make their way towards the exit. Kioko looked to be on the verge of tears it didn't seem she knew how to feel. Whether or not she should be mad at me or sad about whatever this out thing meant. But I wasn't about to let these two floozies escape so easily. I'd body flicker in front of the two and expand my arms outward blocking their escape. "Now wait just a damn minute! I ain't nobody's boyfriend. I don't know what the s**t what being in or out means but if being in means dressing up and actin like skanks and damn near treating the people the way ya do like crap. I don't think Kioka needs ta be any part of it of a trashy organization. Unlike the two of you she's a student at the academy and intends on going places with her life the way I see it she's worth more than the both of you combined." The Eighteen year old girl who'd been approaching things lazily sighed. Placing her hand on my shoulder she'd whisper me this. 'You got balls Ryuji I'll give ya that...sorry I gotta bust em.' "Wha? OOOOOOOOOOOOOGUAH!" A clean hit to my groin and family jewels and my wide armed defense crumbled as the two left the establishment with the Nineteen year old giving me a bird to appreciate. Kioko came up to me to help me up as she was drying her tears with a napkin with runny eyeshadow. 'Nobodies ever really stood up for me like that. I think...I think I'll start going to school more often..instead...of..this. I shouldn't be trying to impress girls like that anyway..I just thought they looked so cool and independent..but seeing you...I think there are other ways to be cool.'"Th..thats..thats...good Kioko-chan. Now lets...get outt.." 'Sir the alcohol will be two-hundred Ryou' "Son of uhhh..." I don't remember the rest of that night but I'm pretty certain Kioko helped get me home.

Niko would enter her home with the food and her and Hisashi chowed down. They both seemed to be very hungry because the plates didn't last very long. Then, Niko cleaned up, bathed and went to sleep.
Niko would awake the next day with a smile and a little pep in her step. After bathing, she got Hisashi ready as they started their day. Where they would go, was based solely on Niko. For some reason, Niko wanted to catch some fish.
To: Chouga Atsui From: Chie Saegahara "Hello Chouga, I have received a slew of letters from the academy students which you terrorized during the blood moon ordeal. Every letter thus far has confirmed your well intentions and their pleas for reinstatement. It pleases my heart that you are working so intently. It also saddens me to see the state of these students. I am sure you recall that I was the academy teacher of Uzushiogakure back when this village was established. My blood, sweat, and tears went into the formation of that school. To see so many stories of neglected children exist from it is unforgivable. I am going to launch a full investigation into the layout of the academy. In the meantime, I have a personal request. Per the letter you sent to me in regards to Nanako Honamura, I have requested child protective services to investigate the father. If he becomes volatile, I request that you get the child out of the household with the upmost urgency. Although you are still not a village ninja, I will allow you to utilize pragmatic, non-lethal force should the father become violent. There is reports that the man is a skilled shinobi, so be careful.
You are proving yourself a formidable shinobi, Chouga. I look forward to having a drink with you when this is all done so that we can brainstorm about how better to protect the village academy students from slipping in between the cracks.
Stay safe, Chie Saegahara"
New Mission Available: B-ranked fight Nanako's father. B-ranked npc opponent. Allowed to use two D-ranked npcs to assist you. 3 post minimum.
~THE CHOUGA CHRONICLES~ -A tale of a now simple postman's path to redemption by forming lasting connections the ones of whom he's wronged and a letter that would change his life- Breaking the Barrier -Sugi Komori- Sugi Komori. From what I was told she was a shy girl. She did not talk much in fact few believed she talked at all, and when the other students would see her she would be on a park bench feeding birds. Sure enough that is where I would find her. I sat next to her as the bench creaked from my girth. The girl stopped throwing the seed, she tilted her head and looked at me as if trying to deduce my identity. I'd take the first step to introduce myself "So are you Komori-chan? I'm Chouga Atsui. Now..you might not remember me but I've come to apologize for..." she tilted her head again. Then brought her hands to her chest. She started making hands signs I'd never seen before. I braced myself for some sort of custom jutsu but nothing happened. I was confused obviously but she looked at me then looked down as if my reaction was to be expected. She took a deep breath and said something 'Iwa cawa heawa goo' she'd then point to her ears and make a x shape with index fingers. "Whaa? What?" she made a grunt like noise as if to say she gave up on communicating she went back to feeding the birds. Needless to say this was incredibly awkward. But then I remembered something from my academy days I never thought I'd run into. I stood up and made a beeline for the library hopefully I would be quick enough that she wouldn't be gone by my return. Panting as I returned Komori's seed bag was empty and thrown in the trash. She was already on her way to wherever else she was going. I had to be quick. I ran up to the girl to cut her off an rose my hand to imply that she wait for me to catch my breath. Which she did..if not out of confusion as oppose to kindness. I'd then bring my one hand up and point to myself with my thumb. I'd make a fist and place it to the center of my chest and move it clockwise with a sullen expression. "I'm Sorry" is what I had hopefully said. Looking surprised she smiled back at me and laughed. She began making more of those hand signs. I flipped through the book to try and identify them, she seemed to be going slow for my sake. "I'm fine. Thank-you. It is okay. You are kind. I see. Thank-you. Chocolate." It seems she did recognize me after all. I was able to just barely keep up with her despite the book. Placing it down after finding what I'd need to respond "No problem. Help. Me. Learn. Hands. Maybe?" Laughing again she'd nod make some more hand signs and wave goodbye. I didn't have enough time to pick up the book and decipher what she had said and tell after she was a good ways away. "Definitely. You are. Very. Bad. Sensei." Through Sugi I would eventually accumulate the knowledge needed to read these hand signs. Perhaps some day in the future it will help me greatly.
The Golden Catch -Kei Nakamura- The Oceanside. That's where I would find Kei. It seemed when he wasn't studying he spent his free time fishing. I'd casually approach and stand next to him to break the ice. "So this is what you do huh."'Yupperoni nothing like that salty ocean air. You can't get that in any other village anywhere near as easily aside from good ol Uzuuuuuuuiogakure! Ya lookin ta see how its done?'"Ah, we no maybe you don't recognize me I'm Chouga Atsui on the night of.."Oh, that don't bother me none. All in the past. Plus the only thins I remember are quality fish. Can't say I'm too keen on yah though. So it seemed Kei didn't hold any grudges against me but he didn't really seem to like me either. That wouldn't register as redemption in my book. If I was going to get through to Kei I'd have to get closer to him and there was one thing he seemed incredibly passionate about. "Oh. Huh. I guess I'll take you up on that offer on showing me how its done.""Alright watch and learn city boy!" The next few days I'd spend time with Kei. Even going out of my way to get myself a rod. "Nae like that ya dingus like this! This is how ye cast!""Oh er right. My bad." Honestly it felt as though he was teaching me, our positions switched between student and sensei. Although all this time I spent with Kei I realized he always released the fish he caught and my curiosity was risen. "Kei-san why is it you throw the fish back. You could likely sell them to the market for some profit.""You don't get it do ya fish r just like shinobi. Wandering a big old world. Not knowing where it'll take em. Then danger strikes out of nowhere and ya gotta fight tooth and fin ta survive. I catch these fish ta wizen em up. So they'll get smarter. Survive longer. Teach their other fishy friends to beware the hook and the day I can't catch anything will be the day I've taught em all!" It was a silly way of thinking...then again most kids have silly thoughts like these. "Oh ah yeah, you'd definitely make a good teacher one day Kei-san."'Pshaw less its fish I ain't got no intention on teachin people. Fish are simple people are all confusin n such...still before I get to teachin all the fish the dangers o the hook..there's one I want ta nab first.'"I suppose there's truth to that, people can be difficult to understand. Huh, A fish you, the master of fishing, haven't even caught? I can't imagine what it would be.""WHY THE GOLDEN FISH THAT GRANTS WISHES O COURSE! ERY BODY KNOWS THAT YA BIG DUMBO! HERE I THOUGHT YOU WAS GETT'N LEARNT." I blinked, the fish from an old fairy tale. Kids and their overactive imaginations. Still it made me wonder. "So what would you wish for Kei-san?" as I felt my rod tug a bit. "Well that's easy. I'd wish for my pa ta come back." a shot in the heart he had said such a sentence with such childlike abandon. "Yup he's been gone for three months now. But I reckon I get that fish and he'll be here quicker than a marlin." Ah..so he was just dispatched my heart eased a bit. All these kids were starting to take their toll on me. WHAT'RE YOU DOIN DING DONG YOU GOT YOURSELF A CATCH GIMME THAT!"Uwah?" I hadn't even noticed my rod shook wildly now as Kei swiped it from me with a fierce reeling and tug in the air a golden scaled fish reflected off the sun. "NO WAY! THATS GOTTA BE IT!" The fish dove back into the water. I didn't want to shatter Kei's dream so I got behind him as we both teamed up to catch this fish. HIs skill combined with my strength it was a good long ten minute trial but we'd come out victorious. With the huge fish in barely able to be held arms almost the size of Kei himself he laughed. I in the meantime was trying to get my back back into shape. "D'yaknow what this mean dumbo! I can ge me pa back!" I just have him a thumbs up and sighed exasperated. Closing his eyes I would hear him say. "Oh golden wish grantin fish. I wish me pa would come home." There was no way...PAAAAA! I heard the splat of a fish hitting the ground. As I'd see an Oinin rubbing Kei's hair. 'Howsit going little man' 'Well I got me this wish grantin fish with dumbos hel..' I was half wanting to say I'll be damned but I didn't want to ruin the touching reunion. What were the odds. I approached the flopping fish gasping for air and wondered...what if..maybe. Picking it up and quietly to myself. "Oh Golden wish granting wish I wish that myself and Chie-dono..." Suddenly the tail fin would slap my face with the force of an angered woman. Before it leapt back into the ocean before I could finish. Rubbing my face I looked out to the sea its glimmer sinking beneath the waves. Maybe it was for the best. I wouldn't be satisfied with a love kept together by the supernatural. Its gotta be authentic! Even if the chances were close to none. A man can dream. I looked at Kei laughing with his father. And it seemed wishes sometimes do come true. Of course my time spent with Kei wouldn't end he was after all..my fishing sensei..and there was a whole ocean of fish that needed to be 'Learnt'
A Family Curse -Ernest Hinahashi- An antique shop? I found the location of the next student I was supposedly going to meet, I opened the door to the familiar chime of a shop bell. "I'll be right with you..wha!" Just seeing me the rather sleepless looking long haired boy panicked dropping whatever the box was he was holding then dashed behind a curtain. Now I had enough decency to not follow but I raised my voice enough to be heard "Yo, hey..Ernest? That's your name right?" "Maybe it is maybe it isn't? Wouldn't you like to know! "Ah, listen I'm Chouga, Chouga Atsui. I was the man that night..." "I know don't remind me! I can understand tying to kill me once! BUT TWICE! No no no. You're bad news" "Well er, you see I just wanted to apologize for.." "Apology accepted you can leave now. Go! GO!" Mmm he wan't coming out from behind the curtain and despite what he said I could only put my hand against my the scruff of my chin. Not once but twice..."What did you mean I tried to kill you twice? I can't say I have any memory of that." "If I tell you will you LEAVE?" "I mean if I did try to kill you twice then yes I'll leave." "The Hinahashi family curse! Anytime anyone in the family receives a gift they die shortly after! I don't even know much longer I have thanks to you!" Gift? He must have meant the gift baskets I had sent to all the students. "Now I think you're overreacting a bit Ernest-Kun there's no wa..." "You're wrong! Ever since my great great great grandfather accepted the cursed golden tea kettle from a strange traveller only misfortune has befallen the Hinahashi family when receiving anything as punishment for his greed!" I really wanted to shake my head at how stupid this all was. It was more that likely these 'misfortunes' were unfortunate coincidence using the curse as an excuse. But I was fully aware of a youths over active imagination through Kei. Still he wanted nothing to do with me. I couldn't cause a scene and as bittersweet as it was I would feel like I'd just have to take his weak acceptance of my apology as all I can get. "Alright you win. Fine, I'll leave..." Turning around I headed to the exit before I heard. "W...wait!" "Wuh?" Looking at the shaking boy he held the gift basket I had sent him in his hand. "M..maybe you could put an end to all this. Break the curse." Uuuug. I was reluctant but I swore I would do whatever it took to earn this kids genuine forgiveness. "Okay what is it?" "Y..you have to take this gift basket you gave me, the cursed gift, and take it d...deliver it to a pale haired beauty." Pale haired beauty? "Where am I supposed to find this 'pale haired beauty?" "T...the flower shop! Two blocks down! She's about my height." Alright putting two and two together I finally deduced I was being played. But...I played along. "Alright and what do I say, do I just hand it over?" "N..NO! You say, with this gift let the sins of the Hinahashi family be forgiven!" "You seem to know quite a few oddly specific details.""DON'T QUESTION IT THAT'S BAD LUCK!""Alright. Alright. I'm going." I would leave to deliver this to a pale haired beauty at a flower shop. There I'd find a girl roughly the same size as Ernest sweeping out front. I did what I was told. The girl smiled and I'd return to Ernest where I'd confidently say "The Deed is done."T...thank goodness. The curse I can feel it lifting already. I'd sigh in relief. "So does that square us off?" Coming out from behind the curtain finally he'd bow to me. "Y...yes of course." This wouldn't be the last I'd see of Earnest Ernest. Everytime I passed by there was a new 'curse' or omen that he needed my help with. Only after awhile did I finally piece together. He was a kind soul that simply didn't have the confidence to do acts of kindness himself...also that he was allergic to chocolate.
Royal Pains -Kahoru Tanikawa - Standing in front of the students address this couldn't possibly be the place. The weight of my regrets began to bear heavy on me. What I was standing in front of was a manor. Kahoru Tanikawa. Was part of the noble house of Tanikawa, a family that held a particularly high standing with the Daimyo. There was nothing but dread welling in my chest. One wrong word here and it would be my head not of Chie's order but by the Daimyo's. I approached the large gate a shinobi waiting outside. "Name and occupation." "Uhm, Chouga Atsui...courier ni..courier." I corrected myself no longer a ninja." "I see reason for visitation?" "I..hur ah would like to speak to a Miss Kahoru Tanikawa?" "I see, well unfortunately Miss Kahoru is not to have any visitors at this hour. She is currently dedicating her studies to be councilwoman as is expected. Have you any packages you may leave them here, aside I would ask you politely to vacate the premises. "I ...I understand." I left to sit down at a nearby bench despondent. How was I going to..."Eh?" "Eh?" Right in the middle of deep thoughts a girl in a finely woven kimono seemed to be running out from behind the mansion as we locked gazes. I looked back down back to my thoughts and talking to myself. "Must have been a party...wait...NOW HOLD ON THAT'S SHADY AS HELL!" I looked at the girl who had bolted in the moment I put my head down as I gave chase. "Waaaaaaaaah why are you chasing me you freak!" "Hooo..Hold on are you Kahoru?!" "I have no idea who that iiiiiiiiis!" I didn't buy it for a second by the sound of how the girls voice wavered and I faintly recognized her hair. "N..Now slow down will you!" "NO NO NO NO NO!" The girls wooden geta came flying off as she picked up speed as they both smacked me in the face leaving marks. Pryin them off I'd shove them in my coats inner pocket before I made a hand sign "Well alright then. If you're going to make things difficult." I would turn into a rolling force a nature and with a quick rounding of the corner I'd cut her off as she bumped into my chest after looking behind her. I looked around. We were in some obscure ally not a soul in sight. "Here you dropped these mind explaining whats going on." I gave the girl back her geta looking at her feet which looked like they were scratched up from her reckless running. She'd accept put them on and turn away from me. "I'm not going back. You can't make me." "Back? The heck you talking about?" She turned back to face me in disbelief. "Wait you weren't sent by my dad to bring me back?" "No. No. I don't even know your dad kid. My name's Chouga I was the one responsible for the blood moon incident involving you. I sent the gift baskests" "Gift basket? Everything sent to us goes through the staff for approval before it even gets to me..and..blood moo...Oh. You're that guy! Then this is all YOUR FAULT!" The girl ran up to me without an explanation after shouting at me. She began punching my chest and abs and yet it was so weak I didn't feel it but I wouldn't say that out loud. "Your fault! Your fault! Your fault!" "Calm down. Whats my fault." She started to cry but her attacks did not slow down. "Your fault my parents pulled me out of the academy! Your fault they considered it too dangerous! Now all I do is paperwork and math equations every single day. They won't even let me go outside anymore! And It's all YOUR FAULT!" Oof. It wasn't her endless little attacks that cut deep. It was her words. Because there was truth behind them. It wasn't entirely his fault. But he couldn't deny he likely played a major part in it. Placing my hand practically the size of her head on the top of said head I patted it to try and calm her down. "Listen..I know. It is my fault. I feel like cra..poop about it to. How about I talk to your parents. Alright? See if we can't get you back in the academy." "*sniff* you'd do that for me?" "Yeah of course. This is MY FAULT. I'll handle it." I looked to the distance her home visible simply from its sheer size and swallowed. This..this wasn't going to be easy...but at least Kahoru placed her trust in me. If anything that would allow me inside. I held the girl close hugged her and explained to her that I would need her in the future to let me in. She agreed. Now...it was just a matter of time. If I could pull this off I'd likely gain some sort of influence even if it was little to nothing but good graces. I was going to try and convince a paranoid businessman and his wife to allow the man that attacked their daughter to reinstate her back into the academy. I would need to steel myself harder than any battle I was determined, I was honor bound...I was...not looking forward to this at all. - TO BE CONTINUED IN: HANDLING THE PARENTS MISSIONS -
Dog Days -Kiki Inuzuka - Another girl I'd attacked was apparently an Inuzuka I knew they had a pension for animals. Primarily dogs. I couldn't find Kiki where one would typically find her, it was only by chance that I'd find the ten year old girl. "Here, make sure you eat." There was a bad enough taste in my mouth as it is that I'd been attacking primarily teens but it was made even worse knowing that I attacked such a young girl. She bumped into me as she was waving the stray dog goodbye. I looked down and she looked up "Eep your!" "Ah, yeah My names Chou...ga?" The girl had already darted around me and began a full sprint away. So full in fact she got on all fours. I sighed. Maybe it would be best not to chase her down right now. I looked in the alley at the dog she waved goodbye to. A bowl of food and water in front of her. Both looked fresh. It seemed Kiki had been caring for this stray for awhile now. I clenched my fist trying to hold back my tears. Such a pure girl. How could I have done anything so horrid to her. For the rest of that day I wallowed in shame. The next day I go back to the same place. There was Kiko. I raise my hand and say in a friendlier voice than before to prevent what happened last time. "Yo How's it.." Only then when opened my eyes I saw that Kiki was on her knees. She was pushing the food bowl towards the dogs mouth who was laying down. I hadn't noticed before but the dog looked rather old, tired, and sickly. It was more than likely its old age and living conditions until now had caught up to it. "C..C'mon you gotta eat, to get better." As she pushed the bowl towards it, it pushed to bowl away. "N..no you have to." The dog would then start to lay down flatter lowering its head where the bowl once was, it closed its eyes took one deep breath...and one final exhale. "P...please wake up. Y..you gotta eat." The girl started crying. In turn I did to. Damn what was with all these sad situations I was getting in! It was like fate itself was against me! I'd kneel down with the girl as I'd check the dog. It was indeed...gone. Patting Kiki on her back this was all that I knew that could maybe comfort her. "I...I..I *sniff* tried..tried so hard. B..but she just wouldn't eat...I..I..I." "Hey..*sniff*..its gonna...its gonna be alright. He..he's *sob* in a better place." "She...*sniff* he was a she...I..tried..to take her home. But she wouldn't leave.." "Ah..s..sorry." Suddenly what sounded like rustling from some trash bags. "We..we should go home." Kiki stood up and started to leave but I was curious what was causing the trash bags to rustle. Moving it aside...there I would find...three fluffy balls...pups. "W..WAIT! Hold on Kiki-chan look Puppies!" "Puppies!?" she immediately turned around to see me holding the three fluffs. Her eyes lit up as I transferred them into her care. Looking at the now passed away mother. "Come on lets give her a proper burial ok?" Looking at me with the fluffs in her arms she nodded "Y..yeah." Picking up the length of the mother I carried her while Kiki carried her lineage our eyes still red finding a nice plot of earth nearby I dug up a grave. Placed stones atop it as we both shared in a moment of silence. Broken when the little ones borked and Kiki looking at me "Thank-you..Chou-sensei." "Ah...no problem." "Your gonna help me raise the puppies right. You're basically their dad now." her words definitely caught me by surprise as I put a hand behind my neck "I...uh. Yeah...yeah..of course." and that's the story of how I inadvertently became a dad of three puppies. But perhaps...it would ready me for having kids of my own.
Kitchen Nightmares -Keiji Domoto- "NUMBER SIX TABLE NINE!" "NUMBER THREE TABLE TWO!" This was the atmosphere I was in for the next student on my list. A flurry of orders coming in. I'd never imagined what it was like behind the kitchen. I was more of the type to eat first and not worry about how it was made. Bumping shoulders into the person next to me this was the my first steps in earning his forgiveness. "Lets go go go Chou-sensei. You put me out of commision for a few days because of you I've been having to build back the money we lost in those days." "Now Keiji don't you think you're being a little harsh he did send us that lovely gift basket." "A gift basket doesn't pay the bills mom." "Still, though son.. NUMBER EIGHT TABLE ONE! You can tell he's never been in a kitchen before." "That's the kinda attitude that's gonna bankrupt us dad! A bodies a body!" Chou-san onion rings! "R...RIGHT!" I never knew a sixteen year old could be so commanding. I could only assume he hadn't graduated because he was pouring so much heart and soul into this family business. "CHOU-SAN THESE ARE UNDERCOOKED! HOW DO YOU MESS UP FRYING SOMETHING IT'S LITERALLY THE EASIEST THING TO DO!" "AH! Sorry! Sorry! I'll fix it right away!" "Damn right you will! You'd think with how much you and your family eats you'd know how to at least cook!" Finally the night came to a close I wiped away my sweat from exhaustion I would never take for granted a line cook again. I'd feel a sudden slap from Keiji on my back before he praised me. "Not..bad Chou-san. It was shakey for a bit there. It still wasn't great. Hell no. But hey you're making progress." "Ah..thanks Keiji-kun now I think I've repaid you for what I did that night I'm going to head to bed." Suddenly Keiji's arm would wrap around my neck as he said in a friendly but soul crushing manner. "Repaid? C'mon Chou-san. You almost killed me! Oh no bro, I think it's gonna take at least a month or more, maybe even a year...lets see I'm sixteen so let's cut that in half...EIGHT YEARS! To even come close to being repaid pal. You and me man, mano y mano in this here kitchen every day. I mean you don't got that job as shinobi no more so I think it'll work out until ya do."Such would begin the hellish punishment of Keiji Domoto, simultaneously opening up a path for me to get better at cooking...even if it was hell.
Hard-knock Life -Yatsumi Onaga- I was finally at the last student of whom I felt I needed to settle things with. The location however, was unconventional. It was a forge as oppose to a home. Knocking on the door once I wouldn't get an answer...I knocked twice...still no answer...a third time and the door swung open. "WHAT DYA WANT I HEARD YA THE FIRST TIME" The pure power behind the door opening blew me away slightly. "I...Uh, Is Yatsumi here?" The man eyed me down. Muscular with a beard. Strong in every sense of the word. Soot and ash covered his body. Then when his eyes reached my face he turned red. "NOT FOR YOU THERE AINT!" He slammed the door again where it almost seemed as though it was about to fall off its hinges. This was another problem situation. I'd have to think on how to make my next move...I'd likely have to wait for Yatsumi to leave...suddenly I heard another knocking. I looked back and noticed it wasn't the door. Then another knocking. I looked up to see a girl through a window. She waved to me to get my attention, it seemed she recognized me. Trying to be stealthy I'd shunsin my way up to the window. "Hey Chou-sensei right?" "Yeah..Yatsumi?" "Yeah. Listen. I've already forgiven you for everything. I can't say my dad has. I mean you probably got his note in regards to gift basket." I would recall a strongly worded letter that contained so much profanity even my father found it excessive. "Yeah, so he hates your guts. And its cuz he hates your guts so much he doesn't want me having to do anything with the academy. He's been telling me to take up the family business and everything. I'm alright with being a smith I guess...but there's still a lot of stuff I want to learn at the academy. You don't have to bu..." "Say no more. I owe you this much." "Alright that's awesome. Listen. My dads kinda of a hard head. No way you're getting him to change his mind. At least not with words...but he can never decline a challenge. So here's the plan. He won't talk to you so that's out but if you keep showing up and knocking like you everyday enough times he'll eventually lose it. That's when you have to settle things. Got that?" I nodded even though I was having second thoughts. "Yeah." The man downstairs, that strong, hard-skinned, intimidating tough guy. The only way I was gonna Yatsumi out of her situation was take him on and earn his respect...or I could just accept that Yatsumi was fine being a smith...NO. I had to do this! -TO BE CONTINUED IN HANDLING THE PARENTS MISSIONS-
With the list finally taken care of I'd go home exhausted. There I would find a letter on my desk. It didn't seem to be from any of the students. Curious I would open it...and there I would read the words of Chie-dono. But what stood out the most were the last few lines. Get coffee with one another...was Chie...asking me out on...a future date? Raising the letter to sky I proclaimed. "THE FISH WORKED!"...Ah I immediately composed myself after as I re-read the note. She was worried about Nanako huh. It's true. While I was there all her father was and seemed to do was sleep. I'd hadn't considered the fact his behaviors when intoxicated. Nanako..she didn't seem to have any injuries. But...going back there. The one thing I dreaded most wasn't the potential of her father being a raging alcoholic...but Nanako herself.

Niko would go home go home to train, but when she got there, there was a note on her door. Niko would quickly gather herself and Hisashi, and head off to the District of Kawabata. The note simply read:
Niko would not sleep long. She rested just enough to get back on her feet. When she awoke, she bathed and then she and Hisashi went to the market to buy some supplies.
When Niko arrived home, something was off. Niko could tell someone had been in her home. She was sure of it. This was strange. There were notes on her door before but no one ever broke in before. She became very cautious. So cautious that she would come in through the window. Just as she expected.
Had Niko walked through the front door, she would have lost her life. There was a kunai launcher rigged to the opening of the door. It would have flung right at her with her being none the wiser. She would slowly take it down. This trap must've been set by Don Juan.
After disposing of the trap, Niko looked around carefully. There may be more traps through her house and she had no idea. She activated her sharingan to notice anything she may have missed.
There was trip wire in her doorway as well. It was almost invisible to the naked eye. Luckily, her eye wasn't naked. The Don must've seen her or caught wind of where she lived. This was going to be a hard ordeal if he could just get the jump on her like that.
She went to disable the trap. More kunai would have rained down on her had she tripped the wire. That was two traps. Niko kept looking for more. The don wanted her gone bad if he was going through the trouble to set traps.
After disposing of the two traps, Niko believed that she was finished. That is until she noticed her pantry. Niko is a bit OCD when it came to her pantry. Everything was stocked and everything was dated. It was even rotated. Color coordinated and sized appropriately, Niko knew her pantry like the back of her hand. There was definitely something wrong.
Instead of a trap like the kunai, Niko could tell that her food was tampered with. They did an extremely good job almost making the pantry look exactly the same. Had they paid a little more attention to detail, they would've probably got her. But, just from one tiny label, Niko knew. She quickly got rid off all the food in her pantry. It was such a waste. However, Niko would have no idea what was safe and what was not safe. she would just have to buy more food. With a sigh Niko checked the rest of the house.
She was all in the clear. No further traps to dispose of. This was crazy to Niko. She must be on the right path. She had to be. Don Juan was a man who needed to be stopped. There was no disputing that.
With her privacy invaded and her home trapped, Niko didn't even want to be there. She motioned to Hisashi. It was safe to come in, but they had no food and it was a long day. Niko would bathe with Hisashi. The smell of fish now gone, they had to find another means of dinner.
Hisashi looked up with a smile. He was back in his wolf form. It was as if Niko could never get a win. She shook her head but knew she was going to cave.
__ On her way out of the area she noticed a faint glimpse of an unconscious Taylor. Zhi quickly altered her course toward the village's dojo to approach the mostly ruined building. "Jeeze, you and Muscle-sempai really went crazy for little while there..." She mumbled as she made her way though the crumbling structure to approach her dear friend. "There ya are..." Zhi sighed and knelt beside him to check for any apparent injuries. He wasn't in that absurdly monstrous form anymore. Speaking of which, Zhi really didn't have time to process or consider why he became that way in the first place. She wanted to ask about it when he woke up, but felt a little reluctant consider how the last time they interacted was a heart-wrenching flop. She knelt beside him while applying whatever first-aid was necessary and thought to herself, 'C'mon Zippy! Mama always said "nothing ventured, nothing gained" so I might as well keep trying. He's still my best friend and I l-lo... really really like him.' A simple, affectionate smile crossed her lips as she gently brushed some of the blond bangs away from Taylor's forehead. "Yeah..." Stupid teenage hormones and unrequited love- damn them to oblivion!

His eyelids flickered suddenly when Zhi brushed the hair away from his face. They tightened at first, but then slowly opened to observe the girl in front of her. When his eyes opened, blue eyes stared gently at the girl he cherished deeply. "Zhi?" He called out in a soft whisper. His hand reached up to touch his face, but suddenly his arm contorted away, and he shouted in pain. Black tattoos crawled along the surface of his skin as his head shot back in pain. However, the markings retreated momentarily after they fell. When they did, Taylor went silent, and two pink eyes looked strangely at the girl in front of him. "Who... who are you?" He asked concerned. His arms instinctively dragged him along the ground to move away from the stranger above him. However, the moment any weight went onto his arm, he shouted out in pain. "Where am I? Why am I here?" He spoke frantically. He was terrified and he had no reference of why he was where he was, or where he was. What was happening?

The Jonin landed upon the outskirts of the housing area... it had been several hours since the encounter with the Vampire Lord. Masato walked through the streets of the underground complex, his red eyes glowing in the darkness as he carefully searched for chakra signatures. He could almost...sense Taylor. He grumbled to himself, thinking of how troublesome it would be if he actually found him and wasn't able to find Shinsei. Finally his eyes would locate two chakra signatures together.
Masato would fix his gaze on the two. " Speedy, Blondie." He said, announcing his arrival. He stopped, folding his arms in a serious postured stance. His eyes would pause, falling on Taylor's pink eyes. "damn.." he said, realizing the change's effects from his earlier encounter with the boy. "Zhi, we need to find someone....to clear Taylor's name for good." he would pull a file he had retreived from one of the VORTEX ninja on Shinsei and showed it to the both of them, hoping they would recognize his photo. " Blondie, you remember this guy?"

Falsa arroved back at her home, the one that the now missing SHinsei had all but gifted her, and immediately set about putting all of her paths about doing lifelike tasks. Jaeng-i and the smallest one both went to start cooking, while Sevastiana and Mugen cuddled up on the couch, flipping through a pair of books that Falsa had shown a pointed interest in several times along their journey. One of them was smut, the other something akin to the art of war. Nastacha set about finding clothes that any of them could fit comfortably in, ninja-ing her way into some other houses in the process.
As for Falsa, her focus was hawklike and keen on training her new powers. She focused on a ball bearing in her hand, her chakra swirling in the small thing. While she did, in fact, feel a pull it was light, almost phantom. It would prove to be quite the herculean effort not to simply tear the thing apart with her natural ability. Training against one's own nature was, frequently, a kick in the head for the girl. She narrowed her eyes, watching how her chakra aligned itself as if it simply wanted to crush inward. The woman huffed frustratedly, distracted by the smell of an omelette in the kitchen slowly coming to life. It took some doing, but she calmed her own chakra, instead simply enveloping the orb and attempting to lift it that way. A bit of light went out of Sevastiana's eyes as it started to lift. Invalid. She needed to use her Jiton, not the deva path. Instead of that, she focused her eyes, seeing her chakra in light streams aligning itself oddly. As if along spindles on either side of the ball. She found it odd, but ran with it. Slowly she allowed her chakra, around herself and every path, to extend around herself, and with delicate control and application of the relevant natures she found a magnetic field of chakra lifting all of the metal in the room just a bit. Now, with just a bit of focus she could actually narrow this control, and get the ball up off the ground. In just a few minutes the S ranked ninja had the ball flinging itself to and fro easily. [Magnetic Manipulation learned.]
