The take both pokemon and trainer by surprise. The move making the Blitzle yawn as well, but the pokemon was still on it's feet as looked at it's own trainer in confusion.
"Good move, kid. It seems not only your pokemon has good instincts, but yawn isn't an instant knock down. We got one more shot, give it your all ...Blitzle use quick attack."
The man would tell his pokémon as the Blitzle would yawn again before lowering it's head and charging. This was a desperate move, and they both knew it.
The two smirked finally realizing they did some damage and could potentially win this, excep this time the tag team did not even look at eachother. Sol stood his ground afraid that 'what if even a tired pokemon could 1 hit KO me?' then commanded "Little Red, Try to stand firm and block the shot" The Darumaka was confused by the orders but wanted to prove his worth and stood his ground with his arms ready to attempt to catch the rival pokemon instead of blocking it as a defensive measure. The little red ball was so unsure of this tactic he was a little hesitant on his actions but stood his ground getting ready for a defensive grab and push away.
(If you roll less than an attack roll you take damage. Damage is generally calculated using this formula:
The differences of the dice rolls (11 - 10) = 1
Then depending on the attack, whether it's a physical attack or a special attack the differences in the attacking pokemon's attack and the defending pokemon's defense.
This is a physical attack so...
( my attack:8 - 7 : your defense ) = 1
Total damage added together is (2dmg)

Sleep took a bit of the strength out of the pokemon's attack, otherwise, the Blitzle would have cause more damage as it broke through the pokemon's defense. It's head catching ahold of the pokemon's skin as she flicks it upwards to throw him back, but it wasn't anymore near as strong as what it should have been as she trots to a stop.
Her entire body shaking as her vision blurs.
"Stay on your feet a little longer ....come on, we can do this."
The man called out to his pokemon as they both stood on the defensive. His partner stood with her head almost touching the ground as she tries to stay awake.
Darumaka felt the blitzle's head smashing against his skin and the blow hurt. Darumaka never wanted to feel that again... He grew enraged from being pushed back and now having this itchy painful feeling on its body. The little pokemon began to rub his injury with his hands.
Sol stood there shocked, he had just realized his partners instincts were one hundred percent better than his own. "Little Red!!!! are you okay?" he shouted over to his companion as it stood up and gave a thumbs up ready for the next attack determined now to win. Darumaka looked and saw the opponent starting to get drowzie and went in for a straight on tackle hoping everything would workout without getting a command. Sol just stood there in shock.
(i was really glad you rolled higher than me on htis turn i wanted to see how that really did work with the fighting)
Sleep last for 5 turns, attack and defensive phases. It ends anytime, I can out roll you with the dice roll. There is no defense during sleep turns, so any hits will be for the full points of your attack (since she is asleep, the phase still run the same, so be careful if you try to attack during a defensive phase. .)

She would managed to dodge one last time ...a dunken weaving that would get her out of the way of the blow. Though she would still collapse against the ground without a scratch on her as she lands heavily and starts to snore.
The boy and his pokemon stood there for a moment realizing the real talent that yawn can do for you. The two all of a sudden got excited as they didnt want to act to hastely maybe the blitzle was faking it to catch tem off guard. The little fire egg looking pokemon stood around in a defensive position not wanting to make any quick movements.
(okay cool so wait i can attack on defense phases, so like 5 times in a row potentially?)
(yes, but there are some consequences from constantly attacking. Like your pokemon can actually injuring itself due to exhaustion. (And if the pokemon is not sleeping, and the attack fails ....they take X2 dmg)

It would seem that sleep wouldn't hold the pokémon long as it would kick out once and then get back to her feet. The pokemon had literally woken up at the call of her trainer.
She shook her head from one side to another trying to figure out what had happen.
Even just waking up, it would seem that the Blitzle was aware enough to stand strong against the attack. Dancing on her four legs, she would avoid the hit all together by literally jumping over the pokemon.
"Now, it's time to hit them with your full force. USE, QUICK ATTACK."
The man would declare as he smiles at the boy.
"Now, the real show begins."
He almost chuckled as the Blitzle would attack with her full force. Head down, she was trying to drive into her opponent with a quick attack that looked a lot like a diving headbutt.
Sol looked up in surprise, the blitzle was surprisingly resilient. how it could just wake up and dodge, what training that beast must have gone through to do things like that. He shook his head then herd the opponent command an attack. "Watch out Little-Red!!!, dodge it!"
The Darumaka looked amazed as the four legged creature jumped over him. his eyes widened and he freaked out a bit wishing he had longer legs to do those kinds of things.
The two began to shake a bit as the opponents combo confidence looked unbeatable as the charge came straight for him he attempted to once more waddle out of the way to escape defeat.
The pokemon's head would bounce off the ground as she missed. Her entire body would be jilted by the attack as she reared back and whine loudly as she paw the air for a moment before shaking her head back and forth.
Her head pound horribly and her ears rings loudly.
Yet, she didn't miss her trainer's command.
"Blitzle ...jump high."
He would call to her. He knew that after that miss, she would be too disoriented to do much else. Hopefully the pokemon's strike range would continue to be low to the ground.
Darumaka looked at his trainer then looked at the other pokemon as he saw it miss and smiled then went straight in for another attack ready to use a tackel before the trainer can speak then a minute later the trainier spoke up "okay here is our chances lets try to hit it with a tackle!!"
(so if your pokemon reaches zero are they like dead or just KO?)
(12 - 5 + 8 - 6 = 9mg) (Nope, but if it's -6 or below ...your pokemon will die)
Hp: 5
The attack was coming, and this time....she couldn't jump fast enough. She felt the pokemon crash into her, taking her feet out from underneath her as jump into the air. Her entire body was twisted sideways as she would slam sideways into the ground. Her entire body would hit the earth hard and she would land there breathing hard for a moment.
"Darn it."
The man would declare.
That was a bit of a hard hit.
"Blitzle, can you still fight?"
He would declare loudly. The Blitzle would nod hard to show she was able as she got back onto her own feet. It was time to fight, and she was more than ready to do it now ....as the sound would end and the aches of her body would drive her forward. The time, she would charge towards her opponent as her trainer called out loudly.
"Use Double Kick."
She would twist on one hoof as she brought both of her back legs off of the ground.
"You got in a good hit, good job, but don't think we are going down that easily."
The man would yell as his partner would kick off with both hooves in a double kick.
(edit after the roll: so my damage would be like his right?) [10 - 8 + 8 - 7 = 3 dmg?]
The two stood there with pride of landing their first good hit, hoping it would be an instant knockout from luck. They smiled then it shrank down to a grin then down to a frown as they saw it getting back up on its feet.
"Uhm i think we can do this little-red" Sol said as he looked at his partner
darumaka nodded and had determination in his eyes as he knew he probably couldn't avoid this next attack. he already saw the heels lining up and the feet lunging at his face. he attempted to go for a dive to the right to avoid.
(10 - 8 + 8 - 7 = 3mg/2 = 1.5 rounds to 2 dmg) (Not quite, Double Kick halves the damage, but allow the pokemon to attack during it's defensive turn without the drawbacks of a counter-attack. Though, the damage it would give off when it hits for the second time will be the same as the original attack. The dice roll is only to see if the attack is successful or not.)
Hp: 5
The attack would catch the pokemon hard as one hoof would pound into the pokemon's head kicking him up a bit as the other foot would seem to quickly fly after that to try and strike again.
Dodging was impossible now, the only choice left for the little fire type was to actually attack back.
Though would it be fast enough to counter the incoming attack.
