The woman's arms folded in front of her and her faced scowled. "It must have been when Sumiko was helping us seal that bloody demon. Damn it!" Her fist extended away from her and slammed into the wall which Kenny leaned on. There was enough force for him to feel a vibration. She was furious. Before she was the Uzukage Chie was the academy teacher. Protecting the youth was her version of penance for all of the devastation she failed to stop back in Konohagakure. Now that she serves the village as a whole and not one part of it, she saw that the part which should have the most protection was vacant. If it had not been for the competency of the new generation of shinobi then there was no doubt of possible casualties.
Thankfully, a brighter case occurred.

When you feel yourself worthy of the shinobi life you may seek me out at the academy. It appears as though I need to return to assisting there for the sake of the village." She said. The woman then turned and started to exit the hospital. Before she did, however, she turned back to the boy and smiled. "Oh and, call me Ms. Saegahara when you do. I find that the title of Uzukage gets cumbersome when teaching." She joked. With the village at war it was imperative that the next generation of shinobi be trained and ready for combat. She figured that she should do her part in making sure that they were ready.

If Charvalla paid attention, she would notice the slightest hint of a grin playing on Michio's face, gone as quickly as it came. "I didn't see him stabbing at you. I guess chivalry isn't quite dead." His response was aimed at the fact that he and Kenny had both sustained blade wounds from the attacker, but not Char. For just a short while longer, he kept his hand over his eyes, making sure that his brain was stable enough to try opening them again. He removed his hand, and slowly opened his eyes.
The rush of light wasn't quite as bad now that he'd had a short bit of time to acclimate. The fuzziness faded shortly, and he was able to join the seeing world again. The feeling of weakness hadn't left his body quite yet, so he decided to give that a little while yet. "Joking aside...how are you feeling?" He looked over to her for the first time since the attack, and looked her over briefly. Michio noticed the bandages around her foot, and thus, it was clear that none of them had escaped completed unscathed. Though, the juvenile mind of his may have lingered a bit too long on her more feminine attributes for the rest of his inspection...
Snapping back to reality, the young man looked back to her eyes once he'd realized what he was doing. Rose quickly flushed his cheeks as Michio attempted to keep his cool, waiting ever-so-patiently for the silence to clear.

Appearance/Apparel:
The first image below (spoiler) reflects her physical appearance as well as her typical apparel. She wears stylish glasses over basic make up with a thin white shirt that is waaaay toooo soft, comfortable, and snug to look this thin. Her shirt is not lengthy yet drapes enough to make it a mystery if she is wearing anything underneath. However, when her shirt slightly lifts from time to time it reveals a garter set that conceals a good amount of skin but is still quite suggestive. She typically always sports a choker that she pairs with a leash for special occasions. Lastly, a pair of stylish heels that work well with her setup, since she is not very combative for a serial killer. Her outfits usually come in a variation of colors such as white, gray, and black, but time from time she may coordinate the colors differently to avoid being too predictable and plain. Shackles are laced around the ankles with chain bonds which are just for entertainment. She has 3 separate markings with two being depicted in the first image containing a tattoo riding under the collar bone and in her cleavage. The second image contains a tattoo similar to the Dharma Power Seal, but unlike the picture this marking is located on the lower back rather than the upper back instead of what is depicted in the image.

Aya walked into the hospital excited
she admired medical ninja, but could
not be one herself for several reasons.
When she got to the hospital she
walked up to the desk where the
receptionist helped her get started
with forms. Aya took a seat filled them
out and brought them back up to the
front. In moments her training would
begin as a psychiatrist. The first thing
they had her do was a bit of organizing
papers, notes, and some light dusting.
They were Psychiatrist; not neuro
surgeons. Aya looked at the desk
it had insurance information
corresponding to patients and the
DSM as well for diagnosing patients.
Also on the desk was a list of
patients to be seen and notes of
those who had already visited. Aya
kept all these things in separate piles.
Once done organizing she polished
the desk and waited for her
apprenticeship to finally begin. She
knew that her trainer would likely be
astonished. After all, no one needed
to clean their office that much and
they likely did not.

Aya's apprenticeship began shortly
after pleasantly meeting her mentor.
She was getting experience in the
psychiatry field in analyzing clients
to declare a diagnosis. She noticed
the patient was able to respond to
her mentor, but sometimes the
responses given were driven off topic.
Either that or the subject would miss
the topic or subject point, then
pick up witha new topic relating
to something as simple as another
word that reminded them of another
scenario entirely. He may have had
an attention deficit disorder. Aya
would observe more and though she
was not under any pressure to be a
professional or accurate at this stage
of her carreer; that was her aim.
What Aya was awaiting to see was
if the patient had other symptoms
and or if the ones present would
increase in frequency or manifest in
other forms of behavior. Aya found
this interesting, she had done this
social experiment many times. What
made this very special was she had
clients that came open to growing
and highly anticipated her help. If
not now since she were merely
observing, but she would one day
have her own office doing the same.
For now she enjoyed the early days
when everything was euphoric. She
knew this too was only momentary.
As the day progressed, Aya picked
up more symptoms such as
restlessness and the lack of attention
span was present all too often over
the encounter. Even when asked if
the subject could maintain positive
communication cues, the patient
failed to uphold. Aya felt comfortable
diagnosing for attention deficit
disorder, but with any medication she
prescribed a low dosage.

She ignored the pain in her foot, having a seat by his bed at last and choosing to give herself a muich needed rest, not seeing how he momentarily oggled her. Taylor awoke softly on top of a hospital bed. His eyes flickered open as he looked surprised at his surroundings. He didn't remember how he got here. Oh god, what else did he forget?! Immediately he started to shift through names and memories he could recall. 'Masato, Sonyo, Suna, Zhi.' His mind cycled through his memories. He seemed to have enough of his memories. Whatever he didn't recall wasn't a point of concern at the moment. The point of the matter was why was he hear? His clothing was damp, so maybe he had some kind of fever. Since he was in the hospital, he figured it was safe to wait until his mom returned. After all, she couldn't be too far away.

It sounded like he wasn't entirely sure what brought him here, which was pretty concerning. He turned the focus back to her before she could ask more about him, though. "Uhm..." One hand raised to grip the opposite arm somewhat tensely. Her training to conceal her feelings and whatnot were totally put aside as she wanted to seek counsel but remained fearful of the judgment that may come. "Nnnot really...?" A nurse passing by in the halls with a cart full of medical supplies accidentally let a tray with some tools fall off. The brief crashing noise caused Zhi to jump and her face cringed until it passed. A restrained cry held back the fresh sounds of chain-reactive blasts that were stifling the dying cries of those caught in them as they were woken from their forced stupor.
Tears immediately began to roll down her cheeks from the inner corners of her eyes as strength in her legs waned. "I... I've..." Zhi fell to a barely sitting posture on her knees and her hands covered her face. Her stuttering hardly broke, "I-I did someth-thing terrib-ble, Tayl-lor...!" She hunched over as she sat in the middle of the room not more than a few steps from the edge of the bed where Taylor was. Sobs turned to weeping as she did all she could to still hold herself back to little avail in order to avoid drawing too much attention to this room.

Taylor jumped to feet when Zhi was startled. He was ready to go to combat at that moment when his entire body language changed when he noticed how broken his friend was. Zhi... was crying. Not happy tears like Zhi was prone to do when they found each other. These were tears of pain. Taylor said nothing. He moved over to his friend and held her. He soothed her while she cried. Her head rested on his chest as he offered his arms as support. "You're okay." He said gently, as soft as a children's prayer. "Whatever you did, it'll be okay. We'll figure it out, but you just cry it out right now." He said strongly. He needed to be her rock right now. There could not be a piece of him which faltered. As long as Zhi needed someone to hold onto, he was there.

Drawing more attention to this room, or herself, just spooked her lingering paranoia. Zhi sniffled and kept her forehead pressed against Taylor's chest, "My mission. I finished it, b-but... everything went so wrong." She finally eased up on digging her fingers into him as she became conscious that she might be hurting him in any way. She could tell since coming back that Masato's chakra was nowhere to be sensed in the village. "Now... Masato is missing, and I think I started a war between this village and Arashigakure." Zhi closed her eyes tightly to hold back the next wave of tears and she continued her confession, "Please. Please don't hate me, Taylor. I hurt so many people... all because I couldn't control my power. This... this stupid power!" Her frustrations resurfaced as anger and the light wisps surrounding her flashed brightly for a moment with impressive heat. The light calmed again right away, but that just showed the lack of control she mentioned. Zhi pulled away, falling back from sitting on her knees to now being on her rump. She folded her legs into criss-cross posture so she could avoid flashing him with her panties. At least some dignity remained amidst all her despair. "I shouldn't have been given all this power..." Zhi shook her head slowly as she stared down at her empty, upturned palms.

Taylor held Zhi as she held on tighter. He listened to her explain the mission. His eyes went wide at the idea of Masato disappearing. 'No...' His mind trailed at the thought. He found out recently that Nariomi did not make it out alive from Sunagakure. Now his lifetime friend and pseudo brother was also missing. Still, he would never blame Zhi. No one ever cared about him the way she did. When Zhi's grip lessened upon him, he focused himself to comfort her more. Apparently her power may have somehow caused a war with a rival nation. Taylor didn't believe Zhi's powers alone would be possible to start a war, but five years have past since the two last met. Just as Taylor's powers have advanced since then, or so he assumed, Zhi had to have developed as well. He brushed her hair as she cried. When Zhi begged him not to hate her, Taylor cooed her as he embraced her more intimately. "I would never hate you Zhi. We're going to make this okay." He said as he comforted her. How he planned on making this okay was not a concept in any sense of the word. However, his mind started to race as he tried to figure out what he could do to help his best friend.

__ Zhi wiped her eyes with the bottoms of her palms. Not that it did her much good since the waterworks hadn't entirely been turned off. "How was I s'posed to know that I accidentally combined bakuton with mokuton? It wasn't what I wanted..." Zhi started to hang her head as the scene began to replay in her memories again. It was inexcusable, and even if everyone else forgave her... she knew that she'd never forgive herself. Eyes opened or closed, she couldn't seem to shake this overbearing regret. It was even harder now that she actually had time to realize and process it all. However, in the midst of her frustration she sensed something concerning. 'Oh no... I guess Chie probably heard the news...' She was certain of it. One of the diplomats had been with what was apparently a clone and then the Uzukage moved to the village gates before deploying several other VORTEX operatives into the village. Others stood with the Kage at the gates, likely in anticipation for the conflict that was sure to follow Zhi back here. "Hahaah... I... I-I don't know what to do." She looked up at Taylor once more and forced a smile, "Either way... I can't keep my promise to you right now. I'm... sorry, Taylor." Maybe she was just expecting the worst, but it seemed like her only options were to keep running or to face her punishment. There was nothing she could do to be able to stay with Taylor now.

For a while the pair had just sat there in silence. He was unsure if Char felt the same way, but the young man was in some ways still trying to wrap his head around what had just happened to them. Without even having graduated the academy, they'd been thrown into their first combat situation; a real foe, with real intention to kill them. All things considered, he was lucky to have gotten off with what he had. His strength was returning to him with the added assistance of a medic-nin who'd finally come across a pocket of spare time to finish healing him. They'd had no shortage of emergency cases with the Gobi's attack, and so someone who'd been put into stable condition was somewhat low on the waiting list.
It wasn't much longer until he felt well enough to get up and move again. With warnings from the medic that he wasn't to undertake any physical training for at least a couple days so that his blood supply could get a decent ways to replenishing, Michio was cleared to start his Ninjutsu training again when they got back to the academy. When his specialist left the room, he gently moved his feet over the side of the bed and sat up, giving his body time to get used to being upright again before standing. "Alright Charvalla, you've spent enough time waiting on me. Let's get back to the Academy and continue where we left off." Be it the still-present feeling of weakness, or what else, the usual competitiveness wasn't in his eyes at the moment. Instead, he just waited for her to stand and lead the way back to the academy. Even if he was cleared to leave, he didn't doubt he'd probably get lost on the way back until his mind was completely defogged.
'Bakuton? Mokuton?' Taylor heard these words as he tried to not let his confusion seep to the surface. Zhi didn't have those powers, did she? Taylor knew that Zhi was always capable of pulling new powers out of her arsenal back when they had their first confrontation, and she fired an arrow with the force of Nariomi-Sensei. Apparently her diversity has only expanded since their distance, but it accumulated with something which even she couldn't control. In many ways, this just made Taylor's desire to protect Zhi stronger. He had to figure out some way to protect her. But who could he trust with the most important person in his world?
"Mom!" Taylor said in euphoria as he pulled himself away from his best friend and looked at Zhi. There was an intense gaze on his face as he spoke. "You have to find mom, and you have to stay low. No village would ever be foolish enough to attack a demon host in their own domain. Hide with mom and pretend to be me. I'll be you, and I'll serve your jail time." Taylor started to peer around the room. There was no shift in tone along the staff yet. This meant that whoever was coming after Zhi was not here yet. If they moved fast, and used a strong enough body modification technique, then Taylor could take Zhi's place in prison, and Zhi could escape. Taylor's only desire was Zhi to stay safe. As long as that occurred, he would be fine with the consequences.
