“Oof- you’re heavy!” Kwelin grunted as his friend slammed on top of him. Philip was always getting in his way, even when he was sitting off to the side handling an injury. He glared at the brownblood for a minute before his face softened at the apology. It was hard to stay mad at that face forever. Philip couldn’t help that he was a moron.
Now that Pawpa was awake and active, he was crawling through books and crannies of the place. The lusus collected a fine coat of dust and cobwebs on his fur like a layer of cotton candy. Kwelin tolled his eyes and followed his dad to keep an eye on him. He could tell Pawpa was mostly just looking for things to steal.
Pawpa poked his head in a hole, only to flail halfway inside and scoot his butt back in a panic, shrieking as a stampede of squeakbeasts followed him. Kwelin yelped as they ran through the group to look for an exit.
“Watch out!” He called to the others, grabbing his lusus from the ground to keep him from fighting any of the critters.

"Sorry for the wait! Here!" Philip grinned apologetically at Avvisi's request. Hastily he removed his coat to offer it to her. It felt a little weird to be out in public not wearing it but she needed it right now. Stepping around the glass mess she'd made, he glanced around to see what else to investigate. The basement was dark and dreary. While depressing, it meant there were plenty of places that needed checking! People were bound to have overlooked a lot in here!
"Ack! Dang." Philip yelped as he stepped into a sticky pool of questionable substance. Wiping his shoe off on one of the leftover pieces of furniture, he decided to start bringing wet wipes to his investigations. While he didn't mind getting down and dirty, he didn't think Kwelin would appreciate it so much. And it looked like there was slime everywhere around here.

 Avvisi Quills Card Catalogue Catacombs Team"Ah! Kwelin!" Avvisi exclaimed as a bunch of beasts came flying from out of nowhere. "What did you do to make um mad?" She said, holding her arms over her head in protection. Oh well, if her hair got too messed up, well, Ray was here to make it all nice again. "Thank you Philip." Avvisi said, exaggeratedly nice. At least one of the trolls here was decent, even if he laughed at weird circumstances. “Ugh, this is disgusting.” Kwelin grumbled and attempted to wipe his shoe clean on a patch of the floor. He didn’t like how slippery the area was. If they weren’t careful, they could slip and fall! Which would be disastrous for Avvisi’s expensive camera. He watched her accept Philip’s coat and tug it on. It was a little cold here. Why was it always cold when the supernatural was involved? Just another mystery to solve.
“Avvisi, is your camera capable of showing us the images back? I am curious if anything spiritual has shown up in your pictures.” Books and shows sometimes had ghosts appear in pictures after the fact. Was there any truth to that? Could it actually happen? He looked to the tealblood with curiosity.

Avvisi Quills Card Catalogue Catacombs Team"Oh!" Avvisi exclaimed as she pulled out a bunch of photos. Her polaroid camera was working on printing something she had just taken already, and she eagerly waiting for the thing to finish. "What a good idea!" She pulled out a few of the photos. "I havnt had much time to look, you know? Too busy getting all these photos! This one should be done right about....now!"Avvisi pulled the photo from the camera and looked at it. She squinted at the cage in the picture vs the cage currently. Something looked a little off... "I dont know if this thing is working tho... dosent this look a bit off?" She said, showing the boy the photo. Block: Basement OBSTACLE: Something draws your eye. The bars of the cage look much more bent than they did a second ago...Obstacles: 5/6 Hazards: 0/3

Avvisi Quills Card Catalogue Catacombs TeamHer camera must be messing up, cuz there was no way the bars just happened to change in the 30 seconds it took to print her picture. She circled the cage, maybe she had seen it from a different angel... maybe she had jostled the camera when she took the picture... Any number of things could be it. Either way, she took another picture, of the bars now changed, before giving each of them a look over. Block: Basement HAZARD: In stepping around the cage to look down into the chasm, you feel a pressure on your lower back.Obstacles: 5/6 Hazards: 1/3

The tealblood's thinkpan turned up as she contemplated the differences. She almost stepped right into a nice big hole, right before stopping herself. "Was that you Philip?"
