Life, is like the ocean. It can be rigid, or it can be still...

Since Jentel's disappearanceat the beach, nothing had really beenresolved. She hadn'tseen much of him over the weekend and the anxiety of it all was gnawing away at her insides, making her sick to her stomach. She knew enough about to know that he didn't veiw her as a friend. He couldn't possibly. He didn't have it in him. Not with his past, not as he was. However, that didn't change that fact that the tiny pink haired faunus had grown to care for him and thus she couldn't help but worry about his well-being. Often she found her mind drifting to him, wondering where he was and if he was okay. She also couldn't help but wonder if she had ruined whatever strange sort of companionship that was brewing between the two of them. A thousand different scenarios was wormed their way into her brain and seemed to be repeating themselves on a constant loop. Along with them came the constant fear and paranoia. Had she messed up? Was it beyond repair? Did he hate her now or wish to never see her again. She knew it must not be easy for him to know that his beloved master was willing to communicate with him. Dani knew the reason for him cutting Jentel off was a good one, but she also knew that Jentel couldn't see that yet. Maybe one day, but there was much growing to be done in the meantime. Something the jellyfish hoped she could help with.

What she didn't know was why his master had chosen her to be a messenger, to do his bidding, to check up on the boy. She hadn't the slightest clue. In all honesty, it could be something as simple as fate had put her in the cafeteria that day. She had happened to be the one there when his scroll had rung and she had just happened to pick it up. It could be something more than that. In most ways Dani was left just as much in the dark as Jentel was. His master truly was a strange and mysteriousman, but, one thing had become clear. The man did care for Jentel. He wanted what was best for the boy. Even if he went about it in odd ways. Even if it was hard to see. Even if what he did didn'tmake sense to either of them. The fact that he did care was simply impossible to deny.

Without Jentel, Dani had been forced to handle Feng's constant picking and teasing and attacking all on her own. Her only other hope of salvation was Ulysses. However, to avoid conflict, one of the things she hated most, she had avoided their dorms most of the weekend and instead sought out quiet places like the library and sometimes I nice little nook in the courtyard. Unfortunatelyshe always had to return to sleep and in those times she simply tried to go as unnoticed as possible. Now it was time for classes to begin and to say the Dani was nervous might just be an understatement. She was practically bubbling over with anxiety as she walked to the outskirts where Survival Class was being held. Her steps were tiny and timid, just like her entire essence. She made her steps slow, trying to take up as much time as possible without actually being late. Heading down the path she could already her a bit of commotion from up a head. The closer she got, the louder it got, and in turn, the more nervous she got. When she stepped into the clearing she very nearly stopped in her tracks. There were so many people. One horned girl was jumping in the air, her landing aimed for a guy standing further away. There was so much noise, and so much going on, she didn't even know where to focus. The sudden halt caused her to stumble and nearly fall backwards. As she regained her balance, her cheeks filled with a soft pink color, matching the vibrancy of her hair which she immediately took shelter in. Ducking her head in embarrassment, she let the long bubblegum locks fall over her shoulder to help conceal her warm face.

It took the girl a moment to compose herself. Praying no one had noticed her quite but extremelyungraceful entrance, amethyst eyes cautiously peaked up, peering through trans over hair still fallen in her face. Upgrading the class one more, her gemstone gaze trailed across the clearing, looking for a safe place to stand. Preferably away from catapulting students. After a moment her gaze landed on a familiardace several yards away tucked beneath a tree. One less observantthan Daenerys might not have even noticed him. The sight of Jentel brought with it a wave of overwhelming and confusing feelings. First there was the anxiety as she was still completelyunsure what terms they were on after the events at the beach. But there was also a bit of excitement. She was happy to see him, but more so happy to see that he looked like he was doing okay. However, she was still unsure if whether she should actually approach him or not. For several moments she just stood staring, unsure of what to do. It wasn't until she saw the woman that she could only assume was the teacher walking about, calling students by odd nicknames. She was tall and rather intimidating. Eyes widening her breath caught in her throat and she hurried towards Jentel hopefully before she could be noticed. She stood just a couple feet away, staring down at her feet rather than making eye contact. "Hey Jentel," She managed, just barely. It was hardly audible and nearly a squeak.

                                                  ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
                                                  ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
But, in the end, it is always beautiful.

Henryk yawned as he followed behind Remus on their way to class. Unlike him, he had no clue whatsoever where the class was. Nor how to really navigate a forest. He had never had to in the past! He was used to traveling in a group or in a city, there he could figure things out relatively fast and keep it committed to memory. Here all the trees looked the same! He was half convinced they were walking around in circles, and that they were never going to get to class. They may never even find their way back to the school at this rate! Still, despite his ever growing sense that they may not make it to class, he kept a relatively calm composure and tried to distract himself. He tried focusing on the surroundings around them, trying to see the beauty in nature. Which he could see...but he was half convinced that vine moved in his peripheral and something rustled in the bushes. It did not help that the team member he knew the best may have gone ahead, or disappeared, one of the other. He hoped she was alright.

The only real solace was that he was with his team, team HARE as he had submitted the name, and that the other girl in the team was singing. Or humming...Vocalizing? He wasn't quite sure what it was but it was soothing regardless. However, trying his hardest not to panic as he was convinced they were being stalked, he hardly noticed the disappearance of her sounds as he continued behind Remus. His attention focused on Remus, he noted he seemed to have something new compared to before on his back. 'Perhaps his main weapon?' He thought to himself briefly. He also saw the plethora of supplies on him. He seemed prepared for anything really, far more than Henryk at least. All he had was his usual attire and his cane. Hearing that they were almost there he breathed a sigh of relief. 'At least we didn't get lost.' He thought to himself relieved, the forest seeming less intent on killing him. Freedom was so close. It was then that he realized, as Remus pointed out, that their final member of Chloris was missing. Swiveling around himself and scanning, his eyes grew wide as he noticed she was gone too. Unlike Remus, he did not have a good idea when her humming ended. And, as suddenly as the realization happened, he saw Remus sprint off in a random direction in his mind, having not heard the sound Chloris made herself. Looking after him, he soon disappeared in the underbrush and was consumed by the forest, asking him if he was coming and that the class was just up ahead. Looking into the main path and the forest Remus had disappeared into...He chose the class as he yelled into the forest after him. "I'll catch up with you two in class." He didn't trust following after him into the forest, convinced he would get lost if he tried to do so.

As he started going forward, his panic slowly died away as he heard the voices of the crowd. He was close to the safety of the group again, and he felt his confidence re-surging. As he approached the clearing, he could see a lot of others already there milling about in various states. He briefly saw a coffin, of all things, fly into the clearing with a person there before both rocketed away again much to his confusion. He also saw Ora charging someone with a leap as if she were going to headbutt him too! It seemed to be a lot of activity. Most importantly though, as his eyes scanned the clearing, he saw Ella there as well. She was off to his right a little and was sitting down while reading again nearby a tree. While he couldn't tell from this distance if she was reading the same book as last time or not, he felt a small relief that she was alright. As he was about to walk over to her, he thought of how common his first entrance to her was when he met her. So he got creative with a brief survey of the surroundings. Looking up the tree next to him, he nimbly climbed up into the tree with ease. It was something he was always good at. Once above, he began to travel from tree to tree, showing off a little of his acrobatic nature if any were watching. He was trying to be a bit quiet and stealthy about it, going from behind a little, till he reached her tree. Regardless of whether she noticed him or not, he would hook his legs on the tree and have the rest of his body fall over the edge so he was upside down in front of her. "Hey Ella." He would simply say, bright smile on his face.

Rachel spinning around with her weapons pointed towards Lancer had not fazed him much, save for his grip on Heir tightening slightly. He had been confident she would not outright attack him, and that if she did he would be fine regardless. Not so much from any order she may have been given not to, or some self imposed restraint due to being a teacher, but merely because his voice could not be mistaken for anything else. And he was beyond confident in his own ability to react should she have done so. He raised an eyebrow as she spoke, specially at the word nommed, and his arrogant grin only grew wider as she said he should know better. A simple shrug was all that was needed to convey what he thought of that. 'Your teeth would not sink in that easily.' He thought to himself. He had to suppress a chuckle as she said he should know better as he knew full well what he was doing. Whether it had provoked a brief fight or not was fine to him. He did notice though, despite her mask due to how the rest of her face shifted, her cheeks puff a little in irritation. Though he had seen it before, he idly wondered why it appeared. 'Perhaps she really wished she could've "nommed me" as she would phrase it.' He silently pondered to himself. Either way, he found the expression amusing no matter how short lived it was. And then she did something that killed his arrogant smile. She began to very loudly chew her food, making muffled sounds as well no doubt to annoy him. Which unfortunately worked. 'Disgusting.' He thought to himself as he had to listen to such a thing so long as he was in the area, as he doubted moving away would've even helped. He didn't even try to hide how he felt about it. She then mentioned how she had stayed the night here so she wouldn't forget about class. Knowing her...he did not doubt the truth to those words. Which, safe to say, was why he had not asked a favor of her after the last time. The remains of it were long gone and too savaged to be salvageable. A brief glance around also confirmed his guess that she was being sincere as he could see bite marks across one of the trees. 'She certainly knows how to leave a mark.' He thought to himself. She would then speak of how she was told to hide her teeth riddled jaw in order not to frighten the students. Which Garret found strange as there were several ways to maintain order, one being fear and respect. One could often lead to the other. 'Then again, the school did place everyone in a grouped area after a bombing which makes little sense.' He reasoned to himself. As she pulled out another mask, a far more intimidating one, Garret wondered which would be more imposing. Either way, in his mind, it would be better than her current mask. She would then let out a deep and heavy sigh, apparently immensely disappointed as she said not to tempt her because she couldn't kill anyone. He blinked once before he remembered how literal she took things, and that she would actually eat a student if given the chance. Such simplicity and bluntness was slightly refreshing and amusing as he could see how much it pained her that she couldn't. At her suggestion to shoot someone in the leg, his eyes widened and he quickly spoke. "No no, not maim them! Have them start off with one less point. At that rate everyone in your class will be more machine than blood by the end of it." He had not meant her to take it as literally as she did. His suggestion was simple and non injuring to the students.Which is why he spoke quickly lest she be tempted to do such a thing.

It was then that he heard a familiar sound with his back resting against the trunk of the tree. Before his eyes could swivel fast enough he heard his name being called by a familiar voice. As his gaze traced it to the source he saw it was Ora...Who was flying towards him for what appeared to be a headbutt. Not wasting any time, and having prepared himself earlier in case anything should happen, he grabbed and raised both his spears in an X in front of him to block the blow. He keenly knew how strong her headbutts were and did not desire another direct hit, aura or no. As Ora would hit his crossed spears, he would sink into the ground slightly and be pushed even further against the tree but hold his ground in the end. As she would land, her momentum cancelled and gravity taking effect, one may think he would react aggressively or distressed. Instead he smiled an all too familiar smile as his gaze would meet Ora's. "Greetings Lamb. I was wondering when next we would meet," He would simply say to her, acting as if nothing particularly dangerous had just happened between the two of them. Moving his spears out of a crossed position, he would move a few steps off to the side so he was no longer being backed up against the tree and placed one spear holding hand against his hip. "I hope you aren't here to steal one of my prey again. We have been told to make sure you all survive, or at least try to." He would say with a slight smirk, bringing back the memory of their first encounter. As he would await her response, he would notice vaguely Rachel doing a headcount...before a familiar flying object came crashing down into the clearing. "Jester." Garret would sigh, sighing as the name escaped his lips. He remembered the suicidal student who had baited Ora into almost killing him and having to take him back to the academy in the middle of a warzone. As he began another patronizing and combative speech of despair, Garret knew he had not changed. He didn't even feel it necessary to respond to his points as he did not believe it would have much effect, nor did he even have time to, for as soon as he finished he slipped back into his coffin and shot off into some other part of the outskirts. Sighing again, he would give a look to Ora that their conversation would have to continue later before going to Rachel. Standing in front of her this time, he would speak in a calm yet purposefully not loud voice. "Someone should go retrieve Jester. He does not value his own life and is liable to get himself killed, as he has tried in the past. While it would be easy enough for one of us to do so, this is a large group and there is always the chance for a Grimm attack and we will be spread thin once the lesson begins as is. I or a group of students could do so, but the decision is ultimately up to you." He would finish speaking, his suggestions out there for her to choose. Ordinarily, he would already be off after him but this was a case where the group was large enough that it may not be wise for him to do so. He would pause before adding onto his last statement, an extra suggestion. "If you do decide to send students, then for fairness, perhaps we should send one from each team." He did not suggest postponing class to search for him as he wasn't sure how long it would take to apprehend the student. He did not have the interest of his own survival in mind and he was naturally a Grimm magnet. Further, keeping everyone here or everyone search for him could be just as risky regardless. Finally, it was because this was survival class. It would prove a good test regardless for them to save one of their own while going through the outskirts, much the same as Rachel's lesson would have worked.

    Ella Fletcher
"Would you like to go for a swim?"

Just as the hero in her story found his happy ending, Ella read the last few pages rapidly in the hope she would finish it before the class began. She got to the last page and read it much slower, noticing some movement above she thought it was a bird or maybe some students canoodling, which freaked her out, so she decided not to look just incase she saw something she shouldn't have.

The last couple of sentences were riveting, well, to her they were. She felt both happy and sad that the hero got his happy ending however she had enjoyed this fiction novel so much. All of a sudden these feelings were torn from her as a face appeared infront of her and her book, it knew her name and should have maybe known not to get so close. Ella let out a panicked squeal, as she instinctively threw her head forward as a result of the fright and as a defence mechanism. Her head aimed, unknowingly to them both, straight for Henryks face straight on - if it collided with his, it was going to be a sore one for them both.

    Ulysses Watkins
Wearing: Armor - Mood: Hungry - Aura: 100% - Semblance Discharge time: 120 minutes

A rumbling noise could be heard, it was loud and would be followed up with cracking and panicked bird noise. The noise would get louder and closer. However the source of the noise would be seen very shortly as the mechanized teammate of FUDJ showed up. Armor and all as Ulysses would push trees aside to finally arrive at class. By all means she was a walking tank powered by her semblance. She waved to everyone as she made her way to Daenery's side. "Hey there." Smiling under the helmet she raised Daenerys to the shoulder. She had grown to like the girl in their short time together. Her opposite by means of personality. "Jentel! You were suppose to wake me up bud. How's it going!" Placing a mechanical hand softly on his shoulder. "Survival Class, it'll be a cake walk! OOOOOO we should get some cake!" It was no secret that Ulysses had a big sweet tooth, pies and cakes being at the top.

Ora would hit Lancer's spears. She would then bring her feet under her. She wouldn't push much against the weapon, as this was a greeting, not a declaration of battle. She would disengage her horns. She would then smile up at him. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again. I had to greet you in the traditional way of course!" She would then look around. Oh no, the happy yellow color on her back would turn to black dread. Thank goodness that no one could see that. Everyone had seen her display of strength. Would she be found out?

Then Allistar would crash in with his coffin, and Lancer would suggest a split up, someone to find him. She was grateful that Lancer failed to mention that Ora had possibly caused the damage to him last time they were in the outskirts. "I'm not the best person for that kind of mission." She would then look over to Lena and her team. She would have to nod to them, they knew some of her strength that she had from them sparing, but they didn't know where it came from as Ora had hidden her past still. Combat is something she was more prepared to do, something that she had dealt with her entire life.

"QUIEEEEEEEET!!" Feng's voice cut through the moaning air as she trughed up to the congregation of students with a case much taller than herself balanced on her shoulder. Her eyes were narrowed against the sunlight and her hair slightly messed, indicating she had rushed here and not quite woken up yet. In her hand she held a thermos, still steamign with what smelled like a particularly blonde roast of coffee to help get her through the morning without pulling the bones in someone's ears out.
"It too early for much noise" the musician grumbled as she made her way over to her teammates and set the case on the ground only to plant her rear on it as se chugged away at the nuclear hot contents of her thermos.

Watching Ora the Wasp Faunus turned to look at the rest of her team. She gave a wave then looked to Ora when she said she wasn’t right for a mission. Lena gave a nod, she felt the same way. Going over to Ora she placed a hand on Ora, reassuring the Ram she had her back. With the events of the beach, knowing a bit more about about her friend, she was ready to keep the girl safe. "I don’t think I’d be good either." Giving a sigh she rested on Ora a bit. "Nervous?"

Truth be told, Zed wasn't really paying much attention to the other teams, due to the fact that he's been spending more time on his scroll, going through the many codes and fail safe firewalls the school would implement on them. Sheesh... state of the art... Zed would mutter as he gone through it. If he really wanted to know more about the other students, Zed would just ask them. Mostly either the teacher that Ora may have previously knew and would literally lock horns with, or some of the other students who were excited about it all. Then a short squirrel looking Faunas, accordingto Zed's mind, would screech her words out. Of course, Zed was the type to not really care more or less in how they were to act, other than his own team mates. .... Anyway, so Ora, you know this Lancer guy? Zed would say, not caring about this rescue mission that Lancer would give to thrm. He didn't even care for Rachael's orientation. Most of what mattered is if Dusk would want them to be part of the rescue mission or not.

Be sure to touch bases with with eachother. Everyone else is able to start class. The teams will fight against one another to try and get eachothers teeth, or can also try to fight Rachel and Lancer to get teeth from them. Whoever has the most by the end of class wins, but there's no real failing unless you get captured and knocked out completely.

XXXOkay, now he was yelling at her to NOT shoot them in the leg? What the hell did this guy want anyway? Maybe she should've gone for another teacher assistant. One that would at least know how to speak clearly on what they want. Again, she'd let out another hefty sigh. "GOOOOD. Why didn't you just say so? Don't leave it so freakin' loose ended, I ain't good with that." Perhaps it was something he was already aware of, but old habits slip. Honestly, she should be improving herself as well, but.... Why? Nothing terrible had happened at school let. She hadn't eaten any students. Maybe a bite here and a chomp there, but it was for a spar! It happens, people get hurt, people get replacement limbs. It's just something that happens. ... Huh. Rachel actually found her masked jaw slightly agape watching the clash between Lancer and Mutton, seeing the ground begin to cave beneath Lancer's feet and back him against a tree. "Freakin' hell, Mutton! Ya got a lot more in ya than I thought. Almost took down the tree with him!" Honestly, watching Ora tackle Lancer got her blood pumping. ... Something about watching people just as headstrong as her clashing for no reason always made things exciting. However, that excitement would quickly shift to more of a ... Why? A coffin came crashing down from the sky above in the center of the field, the door kicking open and out came .. Well, a comedian. The white-haired boy seemed to solely focus on the teacher as he began to spout a bunch of crap that just ... Well, kind of went over her head. She'd just tilted her head, her doctors mask hiding any expression that her mouth could be contributing to. Though... Honestly, she was more interested in the coffin than what he was saying. But, that's when it finally clicked that he was talking about everything dying. Stepping up from her anchor, she'd take a couple steps forward than simply cross her arms. "I mean... Sure? Okay? What do you want me to say, mate? God, BOY. Try making some sense!" Preaching about death left someone like Rachel unphased, mostly because she had been desensitized to it and stopped caring about tragedies. It's what happens when you existed to cause them. "Aye aye, All star!! ... Can I have your coffin, then?" I mean... If the kid didn't want to live, surely he wouldn't need a wicked cool rocket coffin, right? .. This was where having a second person to help Rachel was handy because as the boy rocketed off, she found herself more annoyed that someone was ditching her class than the safety of him. She was in the process of shrugging it off and heading back to her anchor before Lancer started to chime in.

Oooh jester might die. Ooooh doesn't value his life. Ooooooh someone should go get him. Ooooooooooh. OH WELL. Guess Rachel didn't have a choice in the matter anymore, she finally had to start acting like a teacher. ... And at least get the class started. With a groan, she'd toss her bag of jerky a substantial height in the air. Then, during the descent, she'd reach her hand up and quickly rip the mask from her face. The elastic bands had snapped as she threw her head back up with her savage maw agape and crunch down on the descending bag of jerky, gulping it down in a single bite. "Alright alright! I get it! Listen up everyone! Class is about to start, but I gotta send some of you on a lil side mission... Ya complete it and don't let the dimwit die, you pass! Real simple. Ummmm...." Honestly, she didn't want to send Lancer out there, mostly because she didn't want the responsibility for watching the rest of them by herself. "Lancer, you're staying. Ummm... Crap... What team was he on again? KIRA? Aight then..." Looking among the students, her eyes would begin to shift back and forth on who to send. Obviously she should send the most capable right? ... Nah. She'd just send the first people she looked at. Which of course was the woman in the huge metal suit, Ulysse. "Alright, tin can! You're from FUDJ, right? Cool Ya look capable and all... mechy... You're up. Next..." Eyes darting around, they would quickly lock onto the girl seemed to be wandering around looking for her teammates endless. Dusk ... "You ... Uh... Honestly, I can't come up with a name for ya... You're pretty plain lookin'... But hey, you're the leader of team DOLZ right? Neat, cool. You're experienced.. Maybe. I dunno how teams work here. So... Whatever. You're up as well." Alright, neat. That was two... Now there was only one more team to kick someone from ... Er, pick from for a mission. That's when her eyes settled on the girl who had been engaged in her book the entire time, now being approached by a boy with horns. Eleanor. "OI! Bookworm. You don't even wanna be here, do ya? Cool, you're up!" Now that she's called the students out, she'd glance back towards Lancer while waiting for the students to approach. "Alright, you three have been chosen because you're highly capable or some bull. Listen, I'm gonna cut the spiel. You guys get a pass out of class, but you're goin' on a mission instead to go find the coffin freak who launched himself into the outskirts. Stick together, don't die, and don't let him die. If you can manage to do that, you pass the class. Simple enough, right? Cool. Get to it. ... If you need any help, you three should have my scroll contact. Or just scream really loudly. Someone will come." ... Very motivating, I know. Rachel thrives in inspiration. "Alright, what are you waiting for? Get goin'!"

"Alright, now for the rest of you! Ya probably want to know what this class is about. Simple, it's about survival. Duh. Don't die and you pass. ... Actually, I can't make it that easy, so.. Here's what we're gonna do." Pulling up arms, her vambraces would c**k back as she pointed it towards a nearby tree and shotgun blasted a circle of teeth. "Each one of you kiddos is gonna get a tooth. And yes, it's one of mine. See?" Following her question, she'd open her mouth to show goes of jagged and razor sharp teeth, then quickly close it. "Each team is gonna have three teeth, and you're gonna duke it out with each other to try and take away their teeth. Team at the end with the most teeth wins, simple, right? Lancer and I are gonna have some too." Looking at the students, she could already tell some of them were pretty green around here.. Probably had never been to class before, probably never even been in a fight before. "I know we've gone some new faces around here, so I'm gonna try to balance things out. Don't say life ain't fair kids, because this counts as life. It's the rest of life that ain't fair, trust me." Laughing at herself, she'd shake it off before continuing. "So long as you don't screw up badly enough to get tied up, knocked out, or incapacitated in any way, you're still in the game. Even if you've got no teeth left. Ya still get a second chance. That's why he's here!" She'd shout, then doing a very dramatic and full body motion towards Lancer. "We're gonna do a handicap type thing. Ya know, give an advantage to you if you just suck. It's fine, it happens. That's what the class is for, to get better. If you get knocked out, one of us is gonna join your team and help you get back in the game. Sure, not gonna get first place, but you still gotta survive!"

"However, we have one rule and that's to not kill each other. A few scrapes and bruises are fine, but if we find any of you getting too aggressive, we'll be sure to stop it before it gets out of hand. And if I find out one of you twerps are trying to really mess someone up, I'll be happy to have an early lunch." And with her wide, jagged grin... The students might just believe her. Settling back against her anchor, she'd cross her arms to relax... She was ready to dismiss them. It took looking over at Mutton and her suit of armor again before it finally clicked. "OHHHH! RIIIIGHT. Another rule. Sorry, not sorry. No weapons allowed. Gotta use what we've got here or go make your own." She wasn't even going to elaborate. It was just that simple, no weapons. It was something she probably should've said earlier, probably in the class description... But, hey. Whatever, it happens. Right? It looked like everyone had a weapon of some sort. "So yeah, toss your weapon down here at my feet, go grab a tooth, and get out of here. Unless you've got somethin' to ask."

As Chloris rubbed her lower back from the rolling, she was painfully aware that it had not gone unnoticed, resulting in the slight color in her cheeks. Sighing softly, she was pleased to see a member of her team, and gladly accepted his assistance. "I'm alright," She replied, revealing a sweet and youthful soprano voice with a slight accent. At the mention of her distraction by the plants, she smiled sheepishly. "Well, some I haven't seen back home," She explained before nodding and following him in further silence after dusting herself off.

Her ears were perked though as she did hear someone call Lil' Blue...was that meant for her? Well, maybe not; so she brushed the thought away for now. Figuring that Henryk went off ahead, she wouldn't worry about him too much. After all, he was a fast and agile lad, so anything he ran into he could escape...maybe. She would then smile kindly to the new friend and bowed her head in thanks before walking toward and soon in to the clearing that was meant for the class.

Peering around, her mossy green eyes rested on the horned young man and the young woman he was beside. Though her attention would be temporarily stolen by the many other...unique and intriguing students. The petite young woman then shook her head at the slight insanity of a few. The teacher seemed...interesting as well, but who was the older gentleman, she wondered. Of course, it was just as she was wondering about that that she noticed Henryk fall back from Ella's accidental headbutt. Her expression turned to one of concern as she made her way, presumably with Remus.

She did not miss the slightly cocky and eccentric coffin child blast in, making her pause in her steps, her oak staff still in her delicate hand. "I hope that boy is alright," She thought. It seemed that the teacher thought the same, or at least didn't want a student's death on her hands as she assembled a group to go after the nutty guy...one of them being the 'bookworm' she had yet to meet; internally pouting about that fact. As the teacher continued, starting the class, she listened, slowly leaning against a tree closest to Ella's and Henryk's, waiting for further instruction. Her eyes widened slightly, not in surprise but in intrigue as she was told they would duel for teeth. Hm, life wasn't fair, she knew that from her time at home; it was the cycle of nature. So, this shall be interesting to experience, she thought to herself as she looked around at the clearing again, not yet leaving her staff with the teacher.

The meticulous cutting of the tree had garnered all his focus so when he had heard his name it surprised him. He jumped momentarily causing a jagged slant in the bark. "Madame Daenerys Ah, I should probably say I'm..." In that moment where in he planned to produce an apology Ulysses arrived slinging her arms and transforming things into a jovial atmosphere. At the mention of being told that it was his duty to wake her, a panic set in. Had he promised that? Had he forgotten. That was unlike him to leave a request unfulfilled, he began to shake in the embrace of the armored girl before their team leaders voice resonated in a statement that things were too loud. Speak for yourself tiny terror. Ah, but he'd never say such a thing. Her outburst though loud in itself calmed him, for some odd reason, but at the same time the thought from earlier of such a mistake still plagued him. He wasn't sure if Ulysses was merely playing him, wait, was it just to be expected he was to be the wake up call for everyone? YES, that had to be it. How could he have been so carelessly foolish, being one of the most responsible of the team, the man of the team, it was his duty to make sure everyone was at peak performance. He'd be sure to make sure everyone is awakened appropriately next time and perhaps extend his kindnesses in not only making beds but doing the laundry among other things.

Then the teacher began to speak and Ulysses would be called to be stripped away from them "Seems a bit unprecedented sending individuals who aren't even part of that fools team to fetch him. Where is his team...likely disbanded if they had to tolerate something like that." Still recalling the words the white haired boy said though Jentel himself having paid little attention to. The concept of death, and his master dying...his face darkened. Perish the thought. "A failing grade isn't worth dying for Madame Ulysses take note that if it becomes too troublesome, the purpose of survival is so that you yourself stay alive. Additionally I've this sinking feeling that boy won't make his retrieval a simple one." Jentel would then continue to listen to the teacher's lesson plan and to be honest it caught him by surprise. While Jentel was a non-combatant, and what little combative prowess he had laid in the weapon that he'd made, he couldn't help but dread what was to come. He wan't the assertive type but he would give the rest of his team a nod implying he would take the initiative here, if more or less powered by inquiry as oppose to bravery.

He'd unbutton his cuff links in front of Rachel and roll his sleeve back this would reveal a mechanism that was hidden plainly from view. Some more mechanical fiddling and three firm latches unhinged. It then would be removed and placed on the ground the cuff links and the sleeve returned to position. Whilst doing this Jentel would voice his concerns as he was readily doing the same to the other arm. "Much less an inquiry, and more so a commentary. I'd believed a course on survival would be more so a course in regards to navigation, foraging, and herbalism." Detaching the second of Rozen Schwarze he would then take a tooth. "Ah, but I guess a change of pace might do me well as I know of all those things already." He didn't want what he said to sound like a dismissal of authority...he just really, wasn't expecting any form of combat in a survival class. Although he knew what to do.

He'd return to the group and sound almost leader like, it was situations like these of which he was familiar that made him more comfortable in speaking out. He'd open his palm presenting the teeth. "The loss of Ulysses is a loss in overall strength, our semblances aren't heavily combat oriented, we have to capitalize on another survival tactic. Adrenaline is produced for two reasons we'll be using the second. At the end of the day if we loose no teeth, we'll have more than those that lost teeth. Ideally, we'll be looking to prioritize our tactics around a water source." He looked at Daenery's with eyes that implied that in the absence of Ulysses she would have to function as a lynch pin then he'd look at Feng as if to say prioritize supporting Daenery's as oppose to him. "What we have is our agility, What I've learned about survival, is to avoid needless combat, the less wounds you have, the more stamina in the passing time, and grimm don't make for good cuisine. Waste their time, until your not worth their time. That is survival." With Feng losing Concerto, and himself losing Rozen Schwarze the team was effectively crippled. He was uncertain to what degree Feng could use her semblance without it but Jentel knew he himself was mostly if not entirely useless in this scenario. The last of his word, however, he would not say, were not his words, they were the teachings of his master. The goal of surviving was to survive, there is no shame in running away when it means the next day you're still breathing.

It was an odd sight to see him jump the way he did, drawing a slanted line through the bark of the tree he had been widdling away at. It seemed that her appearance, soft and timid as it was, had startled him. It wasn't that she enjoyed that or even found it amusing. Rather she felt a bit guilty, but it was nice for once to not be the one taken off guard and flinching at the smallest of sounds as she so often did. He started to say something, but before he could get the words out they were interrupted by Ulysses' loud and flamboyant appearance. In her suit, the girl was large and loud, more so than the spare moments she got to spend outside of the hefty armor. The whirring and buzzing of the mechanisms only added to her loud and excited. She was quite the opposite of Daenerys, in nearly every way. Still, the petite pink haired girl not only liked her, but admired her. Offering a small and friendly smile she couldn't help but give a small laugh at her comment about cake. "I'm not sure that would be a very balanced breakfast."

The voice that came roaring through the air next was enough to cause the color to drain from Dani's face. Her alms were buzzing, the fear running through her system causing the stinging cells there to activate. Luckily for anyone standing too near her, her gloves were safely in place. She took a step back, shielding herself behind both Ulysses and Feng. Wrapping her arms tightly around her torso, she tried to make herself look as tiny as possible. It wasn't hard considering her small stature that was only exaggerated by the massive armored girl to one side, and the tall silhouette that was Jentel on the other. However, the individual that caused such anxiety was even shorter than her... by several inches. That didn't make her any less of a terror. Especially in the mornings. She was always so much worse in the mornings. The tiny musician seemed to get a kick out of picking on Dani. Granted it was an easy task with the bubbling anxiety, countless insecurities, and her incapability to defend herself. In some ways the jellyfish faunus was the weak link in the team and Feng saw that. Not only did she see it, but she never failed to call the girl out on it. It never did anything but make the situation worse, whether it caused her to be more timid and insecure, or startled her into clumsiness resulting in the damage of the objects around her and sometimes herself. But, who knew, maybe the constant attacks would help the girl grow some tough skin. Looking at her now, it seemed unlikely.

Much to her relief, Feng seemed to tired to so much as notice her, sitting down on her large case and sipping away at was she assumed to be coffee. The noise of the crowd was distracting her, and Dani would take any opportunity to get the humming bird's attention off of her. Still, she feared for anyone who strayed too close to their leader's reach. Surely an unfavorable fate awaited them. Lucky for them the teacher spoke up before such an unfortunate thing could happen. Rachel was loud, rambunctious, and not anything Dani would have expected from a teacher. They had one thing in common, both being aquatic type faunus, but they couldn't have possibly been anymore different. Dani didn't respect her any less and it didn't keep her from listening intently to the lesson plan. However, just when she thought it was finished, the professor exclaimed once more, louder than before. The sudden shout caused Dani to nearly jump out of her skin before her face flushed at her own foolishness. Dropping her head in shame, she let the pink strands fall over her forehead, partially hiding her warm cheeks from prying eyes. I really was very common stance for the poor girl.

The prospect of having to give up her weapon made the girl a bit uneasily. Physically she was rather weak and her semblance worked better for defensive abilities more so than anything else. Sighing softly, she walked reluctantly over to the teacher, pulling the doubled bladed scythe from its home across her back. She never made eye contact with the woman as she placed Serenity Crescent gently by her feet and took a tooth before shrinking away as quickly as she could as if she feared the shark that was her teacher might actually eat her. Once she returned to her team, she was surprised to hear Jentel speak up so much. He usually kept quiet, minding himself and helping where he could, but in this moment he sounded like a true Leader. He laid out a plan for hem, and from what Daenerys could tell, it was a good one. Yet she couldn't help but shrink beneath the intensity of his gaze, a look that implied such importance to fall upon her shoulders. Amethyst eyes widened slightly, her chest clenching with such a thought. She forced a deep breath through her lungs, but it caught in her throat on the way out. She had to bite down on her lower lip to keep from sputtering, and once again, looking a fool. Despite her fear and her own doubt in herself, she made a promise to herself to do her best. For the sake of her team. "That all sounds good and well, Jentel... but maybe we should hurry out of here. Get a head start." She said, though really it was Feng who should be calling the shots. Dani couldn't force herself to look at the tiny girl. Not right now, she just didn't have it in her. She just hoped their captain would go along with what they'd said.

She gave Jentel a soft pat and nod. Reassuring her teammate it was all fine. When the teacher shouted and called her tin can Ulysses turned to face her. With a sigh she looked to her teammates. "I wasn’t gonna give up the suit, you better win for us." Not familiar with others the tank moved off to the side. "Search and rescue. Got it, got it, got it, find the guy and bring him back alive." She smiled under the helmet, even stretching the suit a little. The shoulder canon raising up as she did a quick diagnostic.

Meanwhile in the depths of the forest the coffin hand landed and in its landing it had certainly attracted some attention a three pack of Beowulf approached it. Essentially the negativity of the boy whom spoke in a jubilant manner contained inside. It was like the scent of fresh cooked meat on the grill only the meat seemed vacuum sealed. "Hmmmm maybe I should have stayed with the class, it may have been more fun to see them deal with the grimm I constantly attract as a group. Kekeke. Then again this is much more fun. I wonder if she sent anyone. I certainly wouldn't." Pulling out his scroll the coffin would begin to start being batted around in attempts to crack it open. Unfortunately for the Beowulfs the thing was no simple nut to crack. Checking the time he set a timer, then tucked it away back into his outfit and laid back in the coffin treating the grimms batterings as though it were a massage. "Hmmm I give it about ten or so minutes before I start running out of air and I'll need to take a breather. Or I could suffocate. But that's such a boring way to die. I guess when the time comes if nobodies here I'll open up and be maimed. WHAT FUN!" Ah, talking to oneself, such a great past time. Reminiscent of all those days alone in the manor...hmmm. Was he losing it perhaps? His mind that is. The thing he promised himself he'd never lose? No not yet, like all of his crazed ventures. This was a test of curiosity. The capabilities of humanity. After he gets saved, IF he gets saved, suffice to say, he'd definitely have to inquire why. He'd then bonk himself on the head. "OH DARN, I wouldn't have to be doing all this if I just asked the goat and the pointy boy why they decided to save me after almost having killed me themselves." Bringing out the scroll again a minute having passed. He added to the memo. Ask Goat chick and the compensator same question later. p.s don't forget milk for the dorm if you're still alive. "There we go."
