Tessa still smiled and hummed a light melody as she continued huggingn Narx to her chest, gently stroking his head as she often did for her sisters and cousins.
"Don't worry" she looked down and smiled as she gently pushed him away , a hand on each shoulder "We're all alive and still walking so it wasn't a complete failure. Besides.." she leaned in and planted a chaste kiss on top of his head "I have a good feeling about this"

There was a faint buzzing noise that caused the faunus to perk up before reaching into a pouch on one of her ammo belts that contained her scroll.
"Ah looks like our luck is turning up " sh smiled as she texted back asking Danae where she was.

Donnelly flexed his wrists and ankles when Danae cut his bindings, then wrapped her scarf around his neck and jaw with a sense of urgency that he rarely showed. "Thank you..." He said in his usual taciturn matter. Though... it sounded like he was genuinely grateful despite his tone.

Likely figuring it would help both their Semblances, the nude Faunus huddled a bit closer to the owl girl, placing his hand on her hand so he could more efficiently use his Aura Medic to restore her Aura with his own. He made no move to cover himself, seeming to lack any shame or concept of modesty whatsoever.

Hm... Cover your shame... Interesting choice of words. For him, his 'shame' was the scars he bore... They were the 'shame' he needed to 'cover,' not any other part of his body...

His curiously red eyes gazed stoicly at Danae, but... there was an odd weight to them. Like his eyes were heavy with more emotion than usual... "...They can't know..." He finally said.

Donnelly raised his other hand, the one not holding Danae's hand, flexing his fingers as he gazed at it. "...Familiar with the concept of... sins of the father? States that the sins of our parents... inherited by us..."

He glanced back at Danae, curiously red eyes peering at her stoicly from over her loaned scarf. "Scars I carry... sins of my mother... mine to bare, mine to redeem, mine to repent..."

He looked away again, still making no move to cover himself despite the lady present. It was several moments of awkward silence and Aura Medic use before he glanced back at Danae. It was hard to tell with the scarf, but... was he smiling?

"Your feathers are pretty... Hoot was cute..." He said, referring to Danae's lovely plumage and owl-like slip of the tongue.

Danaë listened to him. She didn't believe that it was his job to carry the sins of others. The Sins that you should carry are your own. "We'll have a discussion about that later, right now, we need to get away." She looked around, when she heard him compliment her plumage. Her face went red, and her feathers would poof up a bit. People typically would just take one of her feathers, instead of them saying it was pretty. Narx was the one that said that her feathers were pretty. She was about to say something, when her scroll went off. She would look at it, and she heard that they wanted them to go into the water. On such a cold day, that wouldn't be a good idea. However, they would need to. She would look above the boxes and saw that the coast was clear. "Hoo-ooh, Narx wants us to jump off the side of the ship when they cause a distraction. So get ready."

Donnely sighed, but nodded. "Escape is most important..." He said, intentionally dodging her remark of needing to discuss it later.

At that moment, the brown glow he was spreading to Danae faded. He was all of out Aura now. That meant that if he got injured, he wouldn't have any Aura to block the damage or heal from it. But hey, it was better off being used by Danae, his rescuer. And he wasn't going to tell her that he would be Aura-impaired for this escape. Why worry her when his own safety wasn't as important as hers?

He watched her blush and poof up, a small smile coming to his face behind the borrowed scarf. He didn't say anything, though. Why embarrass her further? She was showing remarkable tact, what with being in the presence of a slender, vaguely androgynous young man with no clothes on. Though it was funny that the sight of his bare skin did nothing for her, but a compliment on her feathers and hooting set her blushing and fluffing.

He looked away, giving her privacy while she answered her scroll. He looked back when she turned to speak to him, merely nodding in non-verbal agreement. Of course, there was a small problem with this... Yeah, Donnelly was okay with jumping off, but... First, he had no Aura to break his fall, and second, unbeknownst to Donnelly, they would be jumping into water.

The deer Faunus couldn't swim.

Danaë felt her own aura fading in a brown shimmer. They were both in the same way. She had used her Aura a bit too much. She felt slower now, the boost had only fueled the silence. She would put a finger to her mouth, before grabbing his hand and running. She would hop up on the side of the airship.

There was an audible gulp from her. They weren't over a body of water, they were over an ocean of concrete. "Hoo-ooh, Don't look down." She would let go of his hand, and then leap off the side of the airship. The wind going through her feathers. It felt nice. She had faith in her team to save her.

There was a loud series of thuds followed by a rumble as Tessa's semblance activated as she ran, eyes on her teammates as they fell. Suddenly the giant faunus was launched through the air by an angled pillar of stone that she pushed off of at the peak of its rise, sending her into a high arc that carried her in the direction she needed far faster than had she ran.
She did this several more times, each time pushing off harder and harder until her muscles screamed from the near constant strain of sprint and jump with little break between. Suddenly she stopped,dropped into a low crouch, and formed another pillar beneath her , leaping off of it at its peak while simultaneously firing off a shell within each of her gauntlets to give herself a vertical boost with the force of the explosion.
The air behind her bloomed with bright orange bursts as her weapon detonated again and again, sounding like thunder as she gritted her teeth. She was close, so close, just a little more and ...
"Got you!" She snatched her teammates out of the air and held them close to her chest with a smile, forgetting for a moment she needed to figure out how they would land without damaging themselves...

Tessa looked around trying to spot Narx after he yelled, though only managed to spot the massive wave barely a second before it smashed into her and her cargo. and nearly send them tumbling away as they were gently, relatively speaking anyway, brought to the ground where Tessa managed to land on her feet and stumble a bit as the water continued pushing against the back of her legs.
"Is everyone alright?" The faunus looked down at the two she held tight against her body, giving them a visual once over before giggling and shifting her grip so they were tucked under each arm as she began running in the direction she felt she heard Narx yelling from.
