╔═══════════════════ [ - Begin Interaction for RP Day - ]
After suffering from so many situations the day before – without getting to see Jei – Gannon took his time getting ready for the new day and walking to the Academy. Normally, he was an early riser who awoke with the sun and had half a dozen tasks done even before others had thought of rolling out of bed, but not today. Walking to the Academy, he took his time, Brageet dozing on his shoulder after a long night of successful hunting. With her belly full, and his warm neck and hair to cuddle into, she was content with just dozing the entire walk to the school.
Upon reaching the hallway and heading for his office, he caught sight of a familiar figure standing outside his door, calling in through the wood. Arching a brow a little he had to wonder what was amiss with Professor Maksimov… “Good Morning, Philia…No, youre not interrupting me, as Ive only just arrived.” He said with a little smile. “Have you broken your morning fast?” He asked, casually asking if Philia had eaten and if she wanted something. He was feeling a bit puckish himself and hoped to stop by the cafeteria to get something before diving into his work.

-- -- -- -- -- -- ⦕ 𝓟𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓪 ⦖ ⦕ 𝓜𝓪𝓴𝓼𝓲𝓶𝓸𝓿 ⦖ -- -- -- -- -- -- ⟣–––----- - - - - - Philias was a little surprised to hear her answer not from behind the door, but behind her. She would turn to face the Court Cage and chuckle lightly. "Heh, suppose I should have known it was too early. Good morning to you too, Sir Noble." Philia replied, nodding her head in the mans direction. He'd comment about breaking her "morning fast" and the Enhancer raised an eyebrow. He knows about that, hm? Then again, perhaps it is meant is a joke. She placed a hand to her hip, returning a small smile of her own. "Afraid not. I'll be fine for the time being. But if I may, I would still like to acompany you." Her face shifted, becoming noticably more serious. Surely it was clear she needed to talk about something. She had to understand just what had went down in the Training Grounds... And to one of her students. And as she previously concluded, it was likely Gannon would have at least an idea, if not the answer.
The woman would wait a moment to see whether or not Gannon needed anything from his office before they moved. From there she allowed him to lead the way to the cafeteria. Meanwhile the Professor would find herself half considering making an exception to her usual habits of skipping breakfasts. Then again... It only takes one "exception" to turn into a new habit.

Jesse Randall ~ Rin and Jesse's Room, then Outside Gannon's Office ~ Jesse had picked up on a hint of hesitation in Rin's voice, but as the Husky agreed that it was at least worth a try, the Fennec Child would smile, feeling encouraged as she took hold of her friend's hand and led the way out of the room.
Although it was a free day, the Corridors leading towards the Court Mage's Office were actually rather empty - Perhaps everyone was out enjoying the wonderful day she had seen through the windows they had passed along the way? Had she not held what she felt was such a important information to tell Gannon, they could very well have gone out there instead; her ears flicked back at that thought, she'd gotten Rin soo worried about her and now she'd dragged her roommate along for support...
She still wanted to believe it had all been a dream, but with Nanashi having 'disappeared' and the fact she'd had the same nightmare for so long... Someone needed to be told... She felt her heart skip a little as they reached the door to Gannon's office and - without releasing Rin's palm, Jesse would lift her free hand and knock before casting a hopeful smile back at the Husky as she took a step back to wait...
After a few minutes, the Fox felt her hopes wane a fraction and looked towards her roommate for a suggestion "...Maybe I should knock again?" Perhaps following a nod of agreement, Jesse would try again, knocking once more before waiting...
"I guess he's outside today..." As she had noted before, the weather had looked wonderful en route to the Mage's Office, so she couldn't blame him - besides, he couldn't be expected to practically live in his office...right? The guy had a life after all...
Her ears flopped outwards in some disappointment at his absence, but Jesse wouldn't let the fact Gannon was that day unavailable to hold her back. Releasing Rin's hand for the moment, the Fennec Child would dip into the pouch on her belt, pulling out a small piece of parchment and a pencil and scribbling down a request for his audience before posting it beneath the door,
"I guess there's nothing left to do, but enjoy the rest of the day?" Reaching out for her friend's hand once again, Jesse would smile reassuringly before taking her leave of the Corridor,

Jesse Randall ~ Gannon's Office ~ Jesse had to admit she was still a little disappointed that Gannon hadn't been available, but after a night spent trying to stay awake so she didn't have to walk through that nightmarish landscape again, the Fennec Child had eventually succumbed to exhaustion and drifted off into a restless slumber...
The last thing she wanted to do was wake up in tears again and although it hurt to watch her boyfriend meet his doom once more, the dream only helped to refresh her memory and so, waking with what she'd seen fresh in her mind, Jesse had immediately taken to writing it all down as best she could, going over the soggy blots caused by falling tears before rolling it up ready to take to the Court Mage's Office...
What made life that little bit easier was that once again, she had her best friend by her side. She didn't want to think she'd awoken Rin with her sniffling, but sharing the Shifter Knit which gifted most students with sensitive hearing, the Fox was doubtless that the Husky would have heard something...
Glad that with the announcement of another free day, she wasn't missing out on her Knit Class - something she always enjoyed - Jesse and Rin would retrace the steps they'd taken the day before, hoping that this time their trip would prove more successful than the last... With the Husky's hand in hers, the Fox would feel empowered - knowing her friend had her back and that she'd be there to support her if things became hard to say, Jesse made her way up to the door, knocking like she had done the previous day before waiting patiently to see if the man was available... "I hope Gannon got my note..." this was the only other concern on her mind, but she had hoped that if she was destined for an audience with the man, then it would happen - eventually. ~ Rin entered on New Day ~
Yesterday certainly did not go as intended considering Gannon was not in his office... Which just left the issue with Jesse lingering for another day. No doubt she was feeling worse and worse the longer she had to wait. Catherine tried however she could to comfort the Fennec girl and while it was not much from what she could tell, her roommate SEEMED to at least feel somewhat better. Rin stirred from her sleep as a result of Jesses sniffles but given the situation, felt more worried than annoyed about the "disturbance." Part of Catherine felt like she she stick to her routine of returning to her adoptive family for a day. However there is no way she would be able to ignore what was currently happening, she would not forgive herself for leaving her friend to deal with the matter on her own.
Now here they were, making their way to the Court Mages Office for the second time. In theory they should not be unlucky enough for the man to be gone two days in a row. Her hand was holding her roommates as well as her attention set on the Fox's expression so she was ready to reassure her if she started to let the fear get the better of her. Rin nodded her head at the Fennec Shifters comment. "...I'm sure he did." Catherine gave her friends hand a gentle squeeze. "Otherwise I'm dragging him here myself." The girl would jest in an attempt to distract her friend from her worries, even if just for a second while they waited for a response from behind the Office door. Or at the very least Gannon could just be arriving himself.

╔═══════════════════ [ - Enter Gannon’s Office for New RP Day - ]
Graduation was nearly upon them. How had it snuck up on him so quickly this year? Well, given that he was a bit distracted by a certain someone, who’d just moved into his home, Gannon surmised that he had been so happy and content for once, that time had just slipped by him in a blur. After a lovely breakfast with Jei, he’d left his house with Brageet slumbering on his shoulder and headed for the Academy. He had a few things to prepare – including the Graduation Speech that he would be giving, and thus despite it being a free day, it was going to be a rather busy day for him.
As he walked down the hallway toward his office, he spotted two figures standing outside his door, knocking. It took him a moment to recognize them and when he did, he smiled a bit. “Good Morning Jessie, Catherine….I assume that you are looking for me?” Gannon asked with a friendly air as he approached them. Brageet opened one eye a crack and hooted a light note in greeting before fluffing her feathers and nuzzling into his neck to go back to sleep.
Gannon had no idea that a note had been left for him or that Rin had threatened to ‘drag him’ to his office – if he had heard that he would have been highly amused and curious to see if she could do it. Regardless, he was here now and ready to address whatever concerns the two girls had. Opening the door to his office, he gestured for them to go inside and to have a seat. “What can I do for you ladies?”

Jesse Randall ~ Gannon's Office ~ Jesse was glad that Rin was there - The Husky could very easily have gone off elsewhere - spent the day with her family perhaps? But she'd chosen to come along with her instead - The Shifter was even trying to cheer her up! which forced the Fennec Child to stifle a snigger as Rin mentioned that if the Court Mage was once again unavailable, that she'd drag the guy back there herself... "I'd love to see that..." she of course said this in a hushed whisper, but hoped that the smile she sent in her roommate's direction showed how much she appreciated her coming along.
Having quite expected Gannon to have already been inside, it caught the little Shifter off guard as she heard the Court Mage's greeting as he made his way up the corridor towards them, it was only as he asked what he could possible do for them that she realised he must have been out the entire day...meaning he hadn't received her note.
"Good Morning, Sir, Brageet," Jesse would nod to them both cheerily - but it was the fact her ears remained in a backward-facing direction that might just have dropped a subtle hint to the Mage that the reason for their visit wasn't necessarily for a joyous cause...
Trying her best to maintain a reasonably sunny expression for anyone else who might walk by, Jesse would give Rin's hand a squeeze before stepping inside as they were granted entry. It wouldn't be until they had passed over the threshold of the door that her initially radiant smile would begin to wane again and as she scooped up the note still present on the Mage's floor, she would struggle for a moment to try and think of exactly how she might divulge the information she'd obtained to him...
"Gannon...Sir..." She would wait until the man was seated before taking a second to draw the piece of parchment she'd written her dream upon, from her belt, "You may recall...a few days ago, I said I had a dream..." She kept the paper upon her lap for now, but lifted her eyes to gaze at the Diviner as he waited patiently for her to continue, "Well, I know they're not necessarily real but...uhm... What I mean is that..." What was she trying to say? She would draw a breath, her eyes dropping to the floor, "I know why Na..." She bit her lip, glancing away before pushing one of the two pieces of parchment onto the desk, "No...that's the wrong one..." Embarrassed at messing up already, she hastily withdrew the note she'd left for the Mage the previous day before leaning forward a little further to replace it with her latest scrawlings...
"I'm s-sorry...Sir," Any strength she'd had when they'd been standing outside was quickly dwindling - what if he thought it really was just a dream? - And what if there had been another reason for Nanashi's disappearance? The fact she'd drawn a rather childish image of the forest on the top of the parchment can't have helped matters, but unable to get out what she wanted to say just seemed to make things a whole lot worse... "I...just..." Profile Location: Gannon's Office Appearance: Wearing this With: Rin, Gannon, Brageet Feeling: Starting to lose her mental strength... OoC ""

The Huskys ears sprung to life, picking up the sound of approaching footsteps, followed by a familiar male voice. Upon turning her head, it surely enough was the very man they were looking for, Gannon Noble. Despite the friendly atmosphere the man gave off, the previous experience the girl had in his office would have her partially dismissing it and her ears folded down again. After looking briefly to her friend Catherine shook her head. Now was not the time. "...Morning." The Husky replied alongside the other Shifter. With greetings dealt with they all made their way into the Court Mages Office and now it was her roommates time to take point.
She'd seat herself beside Jesse, even shifting the seat closer to keep her own presence known at the very least by her roommate. Her own expression grew gloomy at the sight of the Foxs drop in attitude. For a few seconds she was smiling and now it was gone again. Having gotten using to seeing her so energetic this view was frustrating. She wanted it to end. Rin was noting how her friend was struggling to get through her words and was seemingly getting flustered. But judging by what words she was able to get out it appeared Jesse had already had a conversation with Gannon before she had come to believe her dream to be a real memory that was temporarily forgotten... And now she was here to say that what was previously concluded to be a mere piece of imagination is instead a true event? That she had directly witnessed? The question is... Would the man before them believe that possibility?
Rin was growing increasingly anxious for the Fennec girl as time went on and she appeared to almost be giving up... "...Come on..." The girl spoke softly, leaning over to Jesse to try and meet her gaze. After the short attempt the Husky sighed and looked to Gannon. Her own look growing more serious. "Mister Noble... Sir. That 'dream' she's been having... It..." Rin halted to look to her friend again. "It might be more serious than that." Catherine wanted badly to explain it but felt it would be wrong to not let the one who experienced the event go into detail. If she could not say for herself though Rin was certainly going to try to make sure her friend is heard and not dismissed for overthinking. "Jesse..?" Catherine would say while watching the Fox, returning to her own silence.

╔═══════════════════ Gannon knew an upset student when he saw one and to know that Jesse was so upset about something truly hurt his heart and caused him to be very concerned for her. Nodding as Jesse spoke, he watched her closely – her body language spoke volumes. One thing he loved about shifters was their ears; the way they shifted said so much about their moods and right now it was easy to tell that Jesse was very upset. “It’s alright, Jesse…take your time…” He said reassuringly, as she seemed to stumble over what to say.
Seeing Rin offer comfort to Jesse, he felt true gratitude toward her. Gannon knew that Rin could be a lot like her brother – grumpy and moody – but she was a kind soul and he appreciated that she was here to support her friend and roommate. As Jesse placed a piece of parchment on his desk, he took it in hand and unfolded it. Taking his time, Gannon read what was written a couple of times, his gaze narrowing a bit. Most people might read the ‘dream’ and dismiss it as just that, a dream. But Gannon wasn’t ‘most people’ and he knew that given Jesse’s reaction that it was so much more than a reoccurring nightmare.
“This certainly is a very distressing dream, Jesse. I’m sorry that you’ve had to experience this over and over again…” He said seriously and with sympathy. “As we are currently aware, Nanashi and Azura were deemed missing not too long ago. It is truly distressing to think that they were…harmed.” Gannon said, choosing his words carefully, clasping his hands together and resting them on the desk space in front of him.
“If you do believe that this is a memory – and that you witnessed what might have happened to Nanashi, then I do have a possible solution.” Gannon hated to ask it of Jesse, but there was a way for them to find out if it was truly a memory, buried deep, repressed to protect her, or if it was in fact a fabricated nightmare… “Lelyna Thaniels has a very unique raiment, one that has been used before to extract hard to grasp memories. If she agrees and you are willing, she may be able to tell us if what you dreamt was a repressed memory or if it was a terrible nightmare…” Gannon said sincerely.
He hated to ask this of Lelyna – the last time he had she’d witnessed the massacre of the Fae Village and that had been so traumatizing that she’d collapsed from it in the end. If Jesse had witnessed Nanashi’s murder… ‘Gods, what is happening at this Academy?’ He sincerely hoped that it had only been a bad dream…

Jesse Randall ~ Gannon's Office ~ Hearing her friend's words of encouragement, Jesse would nod quietly, she was glad Rin was there and as the Husky attempted to help her explain the situation to the Mage, it gave the Fox a little more strength to try and carry on for herself. She gripped her roommate's hand once again, smiling through teary eyes before looking towards Gannon as he started to read through the parchment she had placed on his desk.
It wasn't surprising to hear that both Nanashi and Azura were missing, but it also wasn't very reassuring either as it meant that there was still a great chance that what she had seen in her dream may still have happened... It was good that the Diviner didn't use the words he could have in regards to the pair's possible injury...or worse, but she would still drop her eyes and flop out her ears - knowing there was nothing to say the worst couldn't have occurred as well...
She hadn't expected to hear that the man had a possible solution, but lifted her gaze and listened with cautious interest as Gannon spoke of another student who might just be able to help bring what she had seen into light and more importantly, discover if what she had seen had been reality, or just a fabrication of her highly overactive imagination...
"I-I'm afraid of what it could reveal..." Oh, how she'd hate the boy if it turned out that what she'd experienced was just a Very bad Nightmare and the Elementor was perhaps somewhere off in the wide world alive and well...but at the same time, if Lelyna was able to reveal what she had seen was infact the truth...Well, Jesse didn't know quite how she would react... "If you think it will help...then I'd like to try at least...Just to put my mind at ease..."
She of course had no idea what Lelyna had already been through when she'd assisted Sylrenia in the months beforehand, but if there was any chance that aid from the student might also help stop those horrid dreams from recurring, then the little Shifter was game to try anything... Although he held himself well, Jesse could tell that what she'd shown the man had concerned him greatly... She just hoped it was like he had suggested...a terrible nightmare and that everything could go back to normal...well, as normal as it could be for their Academy at least... She kept her hand holding her friend and would remain focused on the Fox's face throughout the exchange between her and Gannon... Even if Rin was simply here as support she found herself just as unsettled, just as emotional. It left her thinking while the Court Mage responded upon reading the paper Jesse handed over. ...How would I have dealt with this..? The girls eyes narrowed, small clear beads forming along the corners of her eyelids. Truth be told the Husky found her friend be much braver than her. Rin would more likely have kept it bottled up... Rather than confront it. But if so, why does she feel so set on Jesse sharing the information? If she herself would not in the same position?
Finally Gannon provided some kinda of method to confirm if what Jesse saw was real... A girl called "Lelyna." Admittedly Rin was a little puzzled as while she was sure the name was not familiar, a part of her felt she'd heard the name a while back as well. "Lelyna... Thaniels..? What kind of rai..." The Husky stopped her question and shook her head, squeezing her friends hand gently. "N-nevermind... If they can help..." Rin could not help but feel a small smile form. If she was understand the situation correctly then the person mentioned might be able to put the Fox's concerns to rest. And the maybe she can return to her old self...

╔═══════════════════ Gannon knew that the idea of facing such a memory – if it was a memory – was a very daunting task for the young shifter, but he also knew that if Jesse had witnessed what had happened to Nanashi that it would help them all understand what was happening. With so many missing civilians and students, it was of the utmost importance that they determine what was happening and who was behind all of the disappearances.
Nodding a bit, he gave Jesse and Rin an encouraging and warm smile. “Very well. I’ll send Lelyna a summons right away. I would prefer to try to rectify this matter sooner rather than later…” He knew that Jesse didn’t want any more nightmares and frankly, he didn’t blame her. Grabbing a quill and a piece of parchment Gannon wrote a quick note to Lelyna asking her to come to his office at her earliest convenience.
“Let me hand this off to a page…Please help yourselves to some tea and snacks, I suspect that it will be a short while before Lelyna is able to see to our request.” It was a free day after all. Stepping out into the hall, Gannon summoned a page and handed off the note with his instructions to take it directly to the Warsong Summer Home where Lelyna was currently residing.
Stepping back into his office, he retook his seat. “Was there anything else that I should know about? Any other memories, dreams or suspicious things that either of you have witnessed?” He didn’t expect them to know anything else, but you never knew…

Jesse Randall ~ Gannon's Office ~ Jesse had heard that name somewhere before - perhaps at the previous Graduation Ceremony? She was uncertain, but with her mind here, there and everywhere the Fennec Child wasn't entirely sure of anything at that time... If Lelyna was going to help them get to the bottom of her nightmares however, then she had to be able to access the mind and in regards to that, the little Shifter didn't know whether or not to be joyful, or terrified... She would look towards her friend as Rin squeezed her hand and then to Gannon as he smiled reassuringly, taking a moment to write out a note before calling in a Page to pass it along.
There was no telling quite how long it would take as with it being a free day, there wasn't any precise means of knowing where the Diviner could be - even if the Page was fleet footed or even horse bound, it could still take time for the note to reach her if she was at home...
At the offer of tea and snacks, Jesse merely looked towards the offered items before glancing away, her ears flopped outwards and with little reaction to anything at that time... She knew she was hungry, but after what she'd been through, the Fox had little to no real urge to eat...
"I can't think of anything but that dream...I'm sorry," She felt bad that she hadn't noticed anything else, but with her nightmare taking up most of her thoughts, there can't have been a lot of room left to notice much else...

The Husky girl kept hold of her roommates hand while Gannon took a brief exit to send out a summons for the person in question. Truthfully the girl was curious to know what kind of person this "Lelyna" was. Somebody that was able to interact with memories in some way, it was hard to try and picture them. Though Catherine would assume such a person to have a more sophisticated air about them? She had no appetite as of this moment despite the Court Mages offer... It was hard for her to focus on eating while this was going on.
Jesse appeared to be similarly hesitant to eat. Though likely for her own reasons. Rin wanted to speak but for whatever reason couldn't get herself to say anything. As a result she merely listened once the Court Mage return and questioned the pair of them about anything suspicious to which Rin shook her head, answering almost in a whisper. "...No..." In truth, the only thing that had ever seemed off was her friends behaviour since she went to find Nanashi that day and the change in the Fennec girls fur whenever she shifted. Otherwise Catherine had not witnessed anything she would have considered unusual. "...Sorry." She'd utter again. Rin knew right now her only use with being here was for her friends sake. Otherwise she was essentially useless.

╔═══════════════════ All they could do now was wait. Seeing as how Jesse and Rin had no other news to report, they didn’t have much more to discuss. He frowned a bit, seeing as how neither of them had an appetite for the tea or the snacks, he was left to sip his tea in silence. “There is no need to apologize, Jesse, Rin. I was merely curious to see if there was anything more, I should be aware of.” Gannon said reassuringly. "Please, relax and dont worry...hopefully soon, we'll have some answers."
Brageet, privy to all that was said, fluffed her feathers a bit and kept her eyes closed, but Gannon knew she was awake. <<‘Poor Jesse…she has been under such distress…’>> Brageet’s voice flitted through his mind like a soft breeze, gently caressing.
<<‘I know…I am at a loss at to how to comfort her. I know she doesn’t wish to talk about it, and I don’t want to push her to do so. She won’t eat, she won’t talk…all we can do is wait for Lelyna and hope that she can help.’>>
<<‘You are taking the time to listen to her and to offer your council and help. That means the world, Gannon. Don’t worry yourself too much…let her contemplate her situation and come to her own terms with it. In the meantime, we wait…’>>
Gannon sighed a bit but nodded. He knew that all he could do was offer and not push. Now, all they could do was wait for Lelyna to arrive. Hopefully she wouldn’t be too long.
