 Night begins to fade into dawn when she beds down. She doesn't want to dream tonight. While she only remembers bits and pieces, the feelings remain with the fragments she does. A swan that left her feeling hollow and lonely. The caiman that alluded to enemies becoming friends. An eaglehound that was all about playful lightheartedness. Death. There is only so long one can stay awake. Heaviness settles weights over her eyelids until they drift closed. She breathes in; she breathes out.
