Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment.  Sylkie grabbed her pencil and her test paper and immediately started filling in the answers. She knew most of them easily enough, and it wasn’t hard to calculate the rest. At the end of it she swiped an arm across her forehead in relief. There were a few tough problems in there that she wasn’t sure she’d answered right but that was ok with her. Math was not her strong point. She turned her test in, then straightened her hair out and smoothed her fur before heading out the door. On to the next class and perhaps picking up something yummy for lunch.

Yihad was working hard to try and finish hus last year of school strong despite all the hardships hu and Somansh were currently facing with their friendship. Apparently the pressure from all of it was getting to hum some, since hus scores for hus math tests were way below what hu wanted them to be. Only a 66? Hu knew hu was way smarter than that! Maybe if hu tried to focus on hus studies a bit more... but how could hu when Somansh wasn't responding to hus messages and ignoring hum in the hallways of the school? Did hu do something wrong? Was she retreating into herself from what happened to her? Hu wanted to focus on their relationship more to fix it, but hu couldn't just drop everything with school!

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment.  Somansh just wanted this to all be over. This quiz, this school year, this condition she now had, everything. It was all getting to her head, and it didn't help that she was trying to avoid Yihad. She couldn't let hum see her like this. This infection that now was a part of who she was, it was destroying everything she thought she knew! She used to be great with math, and now she was getting failing quiz scores. This was hopeless! How could she possibly make it? Well... maybe she could motivate herself to try to do a little studying for the retake. Yeah, maybe if she put a little more effort she would be able to do this. After all, math wasn't too hard for her. She just had to put some more effort into it.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. A little studying went a long way normally, but this time it was only just enough to get her to pass. Somansh hadn't done so good the first time, but at least now she could say she passed, even if she was really disappointed still in her score. With all that was going on though even studying was hard for her. This would of never of happened before the incident, and just that fact was enough to cause her to wonder if finishing school was even a viable option for her in this state of mind, let alone go to a university.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. Lilly didn’t think this was a hard question at all. ”My favorite number is two,” she blurted out and then grin. Even if there was no wrong answer, she felt that her answer was the most right. ”The reason why I like two is because my clothes has two horns. Wuzzles and me are two, when together. And I have two parents. Also, I like two because… because…” Well, crackers. She couldn’t remember why else she liked the number two. Or maybe… those were the only reasons? Frowning over her troubles, she was beginning to reconsider what her favorite number was. No, it still had to be two.
She didn’t like this question, after all. But… she looked up at the teacher, trying to gauge if they liked her answer. Two still felt like the best answer, after all. ”Oh!” she shouted in remembrance. ”It’s also an even number!” she nearly hollered, excited to remember that bit of information. Her grin widened with pleasure, pride making her head tilt back and chest puff up.

But, Birkita was obligated to answer. ”One,” she said flatly, before scribbling down her answer. One was fine. It didn’t need a partner, another number. Any less than one was a fraction, any more than one could or could not be divided. One, it kept division at it’s same number. Exponent of one was the same number. Multiplying by one was the same number. One was a simple and easy number. It was not complex, even adding up by one didn’t require a lot of thinking. It was as easy as counting up. There was nothing special about it.

He had thought he did well when he turned in the quiz. He had even been the first one done. But then the teacher called him back up and told him to retake his quiz. After showing him a grade. A grade of 9. That couldn’t have been his quiz. Scowling, he sat back down with the quiz, rethinking some of the questions. When he was finished, he handed it back up to the teacher, not even grateful over the chance of retaking the exam for a higher grade. Obviously, some mistake had been made. He couldn’t have possibly been wrong.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment.  Winter stared down at the piece of paper and wrote. "I like the number five. Five is an interesting number because when multiplied the answer always ends in a 0 or a 5. This is very useful when your trying to tell time." Winter was somewhat disappointed her math assignment was just to describe what her favorite number was and why. She had hoped to be doing math problems. She had already started trying to learn her times tables though her teachers assured her she didn't need to worry about that till the big kid classes. Apparently she just needed to know how to count and do basic addition.

Rosline waved her hand excited and staining and when called on gleefully shouting the answer. “Five!” “It is Five! Because that counts me, my siblings, and my parents!” Rosline replied, cheerful and excited to share all about her favorite number. “It is also fun to write and has special meanings! It is my lucky number and I just really like five and it is easy to multiply.” She sat down, squirming slightly in her seat and starting writing it out to be turned in later. Math was fun! And numbers were sort of exciting to play with even if she didn’t get all the multiplication table. 7 and 8 was hard to multiply but 9 had a nifty trick you could do with your fingers!

It was a bit puzzling. He tapped his pencil on his sheet of paper, considering the possible numbers. There was the prime numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 11 and such and in the movie was the number 42 as the answer to everything. It was a good movie. Maybe that could be the answer? 42? The answer to life and all the other things from the movie that he and his fathers had recently watched? “42… because it is the answer to the questions of the universe … in the movie I watched with my dads.” It seemed like a good enough reason.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. While math was not Sally’s strong point she did feel prepared enough to actual pass her math test. She wished she had a tad bit more to study but pop quizzes were like that. She filled out the questions, occasionally erasing to correct a mistake and sometimes just staring cross eyed at a particular problem. She’ll skip it and come back to it later. She finished the ones she knew for sure and then went back and puzzled out the ones she was having trouble with to the best of her abilities. She answered them all and was at least pleased to get that done when she turned it it.

Antoinette made a face but started to focus on this… test. Ugh. She sighed and went through answering what she could and gave a disgruntled sigh at the mostly blank answer okay time to fly by the seats of her pants and hope she passed time! She got this! Sort of. Well probably enough to fake it and not be hold back. Okay, that was probably as well as she could and everything had an answer even if some of it was plop a number in and hope it was right.

She liked math and this form was simple enough for her to figure out. She rubbed her hands along the edge of the paper, the texture fascinating her before grabbing up her pink marker and filling in the boxes, just like the teacher had told them.
