 He was back, to try and eat something that the other kin could offer him - this could be catastrophic, good, or just rather unsatisfactory like the last time.
Looking down at the leafy substance that she brought him, his head tilted to the side, and he went to nibble on a bit of it. At first, he was hesitant, but after a few bites, he couldn't stop chewing. It wasn't sweet, but savory in a good way, and kept going even after a few chews, a long lasting green that he could continue to work on, which meant that he didn't have to worry about running out too soon.
He thanked the doe, chewing away contently.
A new favourite, maybe?Quote: 1. The mystery food Bone Chewer gave you tastes great! In fact you're pretty sure this is your favorite food now. (What does it taste like though?) 2 tokens since you chowed down pretty quick!

"Oh, so it's like a shared winter meal?" Crest asked. "I'll certainly try it!" It was kind of good - a meat, she thought, although it almost tasted...sugary? She liked sweet things, but this was cloying. "Erm, where did you find this?"

 White Sands take a bite of the mystery food, at first finding it alright but, the longer she chews it the more she feels unsure about it. There was another taste to it and she couldn't tell if it was good or not anymore.

Oh! Always Forgotten frowned as the food fell. She didn't even get to taste it, bummer!!

 ( #1F0A29 ) Roll: 5 - Gross. How could anyone eat that!? (You swear this might not even be real food, and spit it out!) 1 token though, because you ate part of it, even if you didn't finish it. Deathscape accepts the food with a nod, and takes a bite. At first it has an odd taste, almost pleasant. Quickly though, it becomes apparent it's not a good bit of food. With a grimace he spits it out. "Ugh that tastes like rotten fish smells!" he says, chomping at the ice and snow to get rid of the rancid taste in his mouth.

Salty Sweet was always excited for the potential of food. Even if it was gonna be weird food, she was all for it. Try everything at least once, yeah? You could miss out on a lot if you were picky just on preconceived notions. So, why not try whatever it was that Bone Chewer was willing to share?
The acha had little to no feedback to give, really. At first it seemed fine? But then it got sort of squidgy... and the flavor she thought was decent somehow seemed off, and she couldn't tell why... She continued trying to contemplate it for a moment, but there was only so much she could chew, and eventually she had to swallow. "I'm so sorry I can't... tell you much about it? It was fine, I suppose, but..." Well, she wasn't sure how to continue, so she gave another apologetic nod and accepted the sad token, wandering away and continuing to contemplate...Quote: 2. Hm. You're not sure how you feel about this one. It's okay at first but the more you chew, the less uncertain you are about it. (What is that strange underlying taste?) 1 token though Bone Chewer is as uncertain about giving you a token, as you were about eating that food.

Normally Sugar Star really liked sweet foods, but this was just ridiculous! It felt like a hardened lump of pure syrup! How was she supposed to eat all of this without making a face?Quote: 4. Light saw her return again and watched his food. it looked funny. is it even edible? he sniffed it but it didnt seem to differ from anything else. then he bit into it... the more he chewed the more afraid he became because he tasted plain wood. like wood from a tree ... he could get splinters.. "PTeyouuou." He spat it out. "I cant eat this!"

Low Tide stopped by for a mystery food; while at first her portion was okay, soon it felt like she had nothing more than a mouth full of crunchy honey. She ate it politely anyway, but ugh - she definitely needed a LOT of water after that.

Delicately NOT picking anything that might be spicy, unfortunately picks something today that is the exact opposite. A leaf with a bit of dew that, somehow, someway, is so sweet it makes his eyes close and ruff puff out, yet determined not get a lecture.... finishes it. Somehow.

She was looking at a leaf, which she took a rather large bite out of - only to stop. "Where did you get the brine for this?" she asked, an odd expression on her face.

Something More was actually excited to eat today, now that she was hungry. She wasn't expecting anything fancy, or even good. But when the food fell onto the floor, she let out a heavy sigh. Now she'd have to pay for her meal...

Light was afraid to eat what she brought back. it just looks like... a block of mud... his lips quivered, and he tried to eat it with his eyes closed. to pretend what he will be eating is not mud.. that's when he heard the block of dirt hit the ground. how lucky.
