6. A rather unwieldy long stone, roughly the size of your back leg.

Light looked at the stone and put his body against it. omg, the stone was just as long as his own leg. he just lied on top of it to take a nap. there is no way he could push this thing across the line. He had a smile on his face as he started to fall asleep. maybe some other kin could do the pushing and shoving. This thing is too heavy for me.

5. A weird rock that's about the size of your full torso, but super dark and full of holes.
5. You did it! Just barely, but the colorful kin seems super excited.



Never Sleeps looked around to see what the other kin were doing and copied some of their methods. he pushed and shoved. then resorted to kicking it a few times. it rolled and the more he kicked, the faster it seemed to roll. he had no idea why there were so many holes in this rock but it made it light and easy for him to do as he pleases. with a smirk, he kicked it one more time and it crossed the line. and then it split in half. well that was a close call...

Try was back again and staring at the rock he was given. "Seriously?" he huffed a little, insulted a bit by how small it was though he did have to admit, it made getting to know his rock a little easier, and he picked it up in his mouth and sucked on it a moment. "Thalty." he lowered his head and set it back down carefully. "Alright then." he turned and lined his hoof up properly, pulled his leg forward and kicked back. Only to manage to not only NOT get it over the line, but to bounce it off a tree, and back at himself yelping in shock as it caught him in the rump before he could turn around.

Needless to say, he took his token quietly, and nearly fled the booth.

Leave it to Linger to fail to get a little rock more than halfway to its goal.

Death's Song didn't usually participate in festivals for the living. Her work was comforting those on death's door. Recording their lives and making sure they won't be forgotten. But she wasn't so out of touch with the living that she didn't hear family gossip. So she was here to check on her aunt, not that Sorrel needed checking on. But Death preferred to see for herself that her aunt was happy. And it appears she is enjoying her time with Brother.

So she doesn't appear to be here just to spy, Death at least tries to get the pile of stones across the track. She doesn't make it, but gets close enough. Smiling she nods and collects the token Brother offers, stopping just long enough to give Sorr a hug, after all it'd been a while since she'd seen her aunt.

Hard labor was...well, hard. But Traveler had succeeded in this endeavor before, and he was going to do his best now.

Iris had come to peek at the buck auntie Sorr was interested in, but also to play the game. He'd hoped to get the giant rock, his competitive nature wanting to she he could push it further than his aunt had. Instead he was given a tiny rock. He kicks it down the track and back, almost losing it when he kicks just a bit too hard. Luckily it stays just in bounds and he can finish. Collecting his tokens he smiles at the buck.

Jagged Bones had not come to make eyes at the buck, unlike his flirt of a brother. No. Jagged had come to talk to their aunt, and spent the time asking her a million questions about this strange buck that runs the booth. Okay, so maybe he didn't know for certain that Brother was strange, but he was unknown to Jagged, and that makes all the difference. He doesn't like his aunt flirting with unknown kin. To be honest, he doesn't like his brother flirting either, but auntie Sorr always listened more than Iris. Except she's not. She likes Brother and assures Jagged that he's nice, and not to worry about her.

As soon as Iris notices what his brother is doing, he gives Sorr a sheepish grin and drags Jagged off, the armored buck muttering under his breath about trusting strangers.
