Scorpa Devile HP: 29/40 (lusus) (1 ongoing until support is used from now on) Damage: 4 Direction: Up If you rolled a 3, you open the second door on the left, but fail to see anything in the darkness that the room beyond contains. Stepping forward to get a better look, the door slams behind you, and something in the dark starts to viciously pinch you black and blue. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
Scorpa noticed the second seadweller temporarily join their group and brightened at the sight. She didn't know if the troll was someone Lorata already knew or what but was excited at the prospect of meeting another highblood. Unfortunately for her, the girl moved over to Austri and Scorpa frowned. UGH! She should've known they'd go for a midblood at the lowest. Part of her was curious about why the girl skipped talking to Lorata and Flydra though. That was weird. The main thing was, she already knew Austri was going to fill the newcomer's head with lies about her and Scorpa couldn't let her get away with it! She'd have to let actions speak louder than words by this point. Her chance came at a crossing of many doors.
"I'll check this one! Stay back and you'll be safe!" Valiant as ever, she was going to be the most heroic. Ripping open one of the doors at random, Scorpa entered to check it out for any traps and yelped as it slammed behind her. AUSTRI! YOU b***h! Screams were heard from inside as something nefarious happened behind the closed door and loud beating sounds whacked against it. A few moments later everything went silent and Scorpa stumbled out, her hair a mess and covered in bruises.
"So not! That one!" The words were strained from exhaustion but she attempted to keep an upbeat tone.

Nucleo Glatte HP: 0/20 Damage: 2? Direction: Was Up but now he's retreating If you rolled a 1, you open the first door on the left, and are dogpiled by a bunch of troll-bots that pour out of small janitorial cupboard and onto you. Take 4 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
"Amonee?" Nucleo looked up from examining door number one. He could swear the troll had been here a second ago. The different door options confused Nucleo, and he tried to figure out which way his friend had gone while he'd been distracted. It was risky to split up, even if it meant covering more ground, so the greenblood started to feel nervous. Sure he could make more clones but there wasn't anything Amonee could do. Sunlight didn't reach in here...
"Fine, I'll just try it!" Grabbing the door, Nucleo opened it and was swallowed by an onslaught of troll-bots. White pain flashed in his eyes as his head slammed down against the floor. Groaning, the teen tried to roll over and crawl out but failed. The troll bots wriggled and grabbed him, pulling him into the janitorial cupboard.
"Noooooo!" He struggled to no avail. A scream echoed down the hall before the door ominously slammed shut.

Fellah arrives a little late, goes LEFT and attacks.
"Aww crud, late again," Fellah sighed, gripping his shovel as he approached the tower. Most of the other volunteers were far ahead of him, however that was no excuse to give up before even starting. With a deep breath the redblood rushed the entrance, grabbing a door handle to be met with a VERY unpleasant balloon in the face. With a yelp, the farm troll swung his shovel wildly, smashing into an outlet and dealing some damage to a plug. Once the teargas wore off, the hulking troll veered to the left.

As you push farther, you happen to glance out one of the gaping, unfinished walls. You can see down below, trolls gathered around the site, a few waving their arms in either support or warning. Their faces are slightly blobby from the distance, and you realize how far up the construction site you've climbed.
All trolls gain one use of second wind.

Boss Attack
As you walk down the hall, the ceiling above you begins to lower. Not only above you - but in front and behind of you as well. As you rush forwards, grills slide up infront and behind of you, blocking you from progressing further down the hall!
If you rolled a 1, you panic and grab the bars of the grill, shaking them frantically. At the last moment, one snaps and you claw your way between them. One of your legs gets caught between the lowering ceiling and the floor, and you're only able to get free by slipping out of your shoe. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, you remember how fragile the previous traps have been, and begin to tear apart the walls and floor in search of circuits to destroy. All you seem to find is unrelated power cords that give you nasty shocks, and you end up having to squeeze through a hole in the grill, torn open by another troll fleeing the trap. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, you test how strong the ceiling is by bracing your back and shoulders against it when it gets low enough, and pushing back. The ceiling rumbles, creaks, pops, and eventually stops pushing down on you, but not before giving you the backache of the century.Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, you wait till the ceiling is close enough, then tug and tear at it with your weapon and hand, pulling them back to reveal the inner workings. These you violently destroy, until the pannel above you shivers into stillness, and the grill ahead of you flops down. Take 1 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 5, you run to one end of the penned-in cage, then charge at the grill on the other end, sending it popping out of the floor, and you tumbling into a safe stretch of the hall. Take 2 dmg.
If you rolled a 6, you hurry over to the grill and shove either your weapon, or any old piece of metal in between it and the floor, levering it out with a pop. Talk about shoddy construction. You continue quickly down the hallway as the ceiling slams into the floor behind you. Take 1 dmg.
Polair and Claud go RIGHT! HP: 20/40 -1 HP each roll
Claud was feeling much better after eating some of the robotic monsters. The walls began to move towards them as the progressed. It was strange... Walls and roofs normally didn't do that, unless of course if it was controlled by a maniac defense system. Claud asked her if that was normal which she replied with a plain, "no."
Really, whoever designed this was a foolish troll. Claud growled and pushed his charge away from the walls. What was up with her?
Polair though decided to drag her feet and wait for the ceiling to get close to tear it open. Of course, Claud did a better job at tearing it apart. However, as soon as the inner wiring were exposed, the grill fell on them.
Psykgi Mentha 13/20 hp Damage Dealt: - to Half Constructed Tower Damage Taken: Take 2 dmg 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you. Direction: Right Military Standard Medical Kit (Adept Artifact Support A) (2/2 Uses, heal one troll 1/2 hp) Second Wind (1/1)
Psykgi looked out the window, pausing for a brief moment to take in the significance of the moment. She was a part of a volunteer force, here to advance trolldom and to protect the investments that they'd already made. If they could shut down the AI, progress could continue onwards into the ever-marching future. Psykgi wasn't selfless, but she was doing this for them. Wasn't she?
The building made an indescribable sound and she looked at it warily. She couldn't stay in one place. She needed to keep going.

∞ Ephias Sagine
Health: 10 (Zapped!) Defensive B Trinket: 1/1 Support A Artefact: 1/1
After disentangling himself from the snipperbeasts, Ephias was hard-pressed to catch up with the others. They had long since continued down the corridor, leaving him behind. Not that he minded. It gave him the chance to process his own thoughts, as abstract and slow moving as they were, to try and find some order among the nonsensical jumble.
Right. Easier said than done.
As he ran, his mind continued to cloud. Not just his mind but his vision and hearing too. If hearing could cloud. Everything seemed strangely distant. There was a delay between the movement of his legs and the scene passing before his lookstubs. Sounds passed through his spongeclots at first muted, but then jarringly loud. Ephias shut it all out. Focus on the task at hand.
Disconnecting himself from his senses may not have been the wisest decision however. He had not, he might have noticed the descending ceiling faster than he did.
“Damn!” The way ahead and behind was blocked. Okay, think! What would Etsali do in a time like this? What would Wolly do? Find some place to hide. Wait some place out of the way until the danger had passed. That did not leave him very many options.
Ephias unhooked his shears and plunged the blades into the wall. There was a sharp crack of electricity as he ripped through the power cables. Electricity danced down the shears and ran up his arms. To be honest, the feeling was not unpleasant. The scent of burning flesh tipped him off a moment later though.
HP: 8/20 Military Grade Partisan Support Trinket A: 1/1
As they moved along, one of the walls opened up beside them, left unfinished. It was a window into open space, one she hesitated to get too close too, but she couldn't help poking her head out to see how far up they'd come. And it was...a lot higher than she'd realized, now that she looked. Trolls waved up from down below, too far to completely make sense of their faces, and she lifted a hand to wave down at them before moving on and away. It was lucky she'd turned her attention back to the matter at hand, because the ceiling chose that moment to begin to drop.
Panic gripped at her bloodpusher, but she wasn't going to die here, in some unfinished hallway. "This way!" she called to the Sirens, bracing herself at the start of the hall and then charging for a grill at the end with full speed. The grill caved under her heel, sending her tumbling into a safe stretch of the hallway, and as soon as she could right herself, she twisted back to reach for her friends.
Austri dealt 2 damage. Austri is moving RIGHT.
Oh hey, it was that friendly blueblood from before~ With a small wave at her, Austri barely noticed the lowering ceiling until Lorata'd said something about it. With a stiff upper lip, the greenblood grabbed at the ceiling and pulled on it to see many wires and the innards of the panel. Using her pinwheels to shred whatever was inside, the greenblood felt her lips curl into a smile as it stopped and dropped. "Done~" She said with a giggle, excited.
Flydra Dromen HP: 22/40 (lusus) Damage: 2 Direction: Right 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
She would have to remember this trap. As the grills closed in around her and Hydraddy, Flydra briefly wondered who had been behind the genius design. Moving quickly and rashly, the tealblood grabbed at some of the bars in an effort to shake them and force them out of her way. Unfortunately, the idea worked a little too well and it suddenly snapped, causing her to fly forward and slip between the ceiling and the floor. Dangling dangerously, the small scientist struggled to grab onto her lusus while looking at the other sirens below with an alarmed look. She wasn't usually so easily rattled but these situations were getting more and more extreme, not to mention bizarre! If anything got out of hand though, she knew Scorpa or Austri could rescue her. The two of them were incredibly strong and good at climbing.
"Draddy, closer." The girl murmured, finally getting hold of one of her lusus's heads and slipping out of her shoe. She heard it land somewhere else now that her foot wasn't keeping it in place anymore. Whatever, she could always buy more shoes. Maybe if she was lucky, she'd be able to get a matching set with Lorata!

"Flydra!" Austri and Lorata made it through the grill obstacle relatively unscathed. Scorpa had stayed back in case her tealblood friend had any issues, knowing the nurse wasn't quite as athletically inclined. Her pumpbiscuit froze at seeing the girl get caught and the yellowblood booked it to her and began to push. No one was taking any of her friends down on her watch! Pissed, she pushed with everything in her body to try and save Flydra from injury. Eventually she popped through, leaving Scorpa as the last to pass. She snagged Flydra's shoe that had popped off and then launched directly into the ceiling, intending to use brute force to make it through. With a war cry and a loud bang, Scorpa was successful. She did feel the start of a headache forming though. Oops.
"No one left behind! Even you, I guess." The yellowblood growled at the building that was throwing every dangerous obstacle to kill them, before her gaze settled on Austri. As much as the two of them fought, she didn't want to lose her either. Embarrassed she had to immediately break the tension.
"So you better not ******** up!" Scorpa huffed and then stomped on ahead. She didn't realize the second seadweller was still with them until after she spoke. Gah, hopefully she understood what she'd meant.

Fellah goes UP and attacks.
The redblood managed to make a little headway, and was lucky enough to notice the ceiling falling at a relatively fast pace for Fellah. The farm troll started hacking at the panels once again with his shovel, but thinking he heard some other trolls up ahead made him do a little less damage than he could have. Successfully severing what he needed to, Fellah continued onward, hoping everything was alright with the rest of the trolls.
The ceiling was closing in. This was no time to panic and do something stupid. Filled with a sudden rage, Eostre threw her fist clean through the ceiling, and grabbed at the inner mechanisms. She wildly started pulling out the wiring and pieces, dropping them to the ground like a strange, mechanical rumpusbeast at a party. She continued until the machine shuddered to a stop, and the grill flopped over sadly. That seemed almost too easy, but god it felt good to destroy.
Her breathing was getting heavier, but she didn't think she was going down just yet... She was strong.
Eostre dealt 5 damage to the Defense AI She is going UP! -1 damage per roll
Eostre was looking very worse for wear. It was a true shame that Vulpin had no way to help or heal the blueblood struggling behind them. Perhaps they could be a touch encouraging, but that would be too far out of character. They liked Eostre, but that didn't mean they cared about her.
"Keep it together," Vulpin stressed. Was that encouraging enough? "Civisect is counting on you," They added, mostly to cover their own a**.
They didn't allow themself to be trapped by something as silly as a cage. Even with their tiny frame, a decent charge was all they needed to bust down the walls closing in. Not even thinking about it, Vulpin kept moving forward, working purely on instinct.
