Ree looked away finally and glanced down at the blanket was has been pulled up almost as if attempted to hide him while he was trying to hide in his wings, he closed his eyes as a flicker of sadness passed his face and left. Opening his eyes again he motioned to the door. "He's hiding" he said quietly, lacking any infliction in his voice as he looked back at the door, wanting to keep on hiding...forever. "Lets head down. 24 more days" he muttered the coldness returning while he ruffled his feathers and pulling his wings back. He didn't look toward their tips, especially not trying to think about it but in the most general sense. Looking at Ashral he shook his head and moved to grab the paper and pencil she has been using earlier and erased everything she wrote last night and folded it before offering both to her and looked at her silently, waiting.

Ashral's eyes searched his face as he spoke, not sure what was going on in his head but trusting what he said. Spirit was hiding. She supposed maybe that was good. She wasn't sure.
He suggested they head down and she nodded then took the paper and pencil he handed her. She came to a stand, stumbling slightly as she tried to find the strength in her legs. It was difficult but it felt like it was getting easier as time passed. Ashral balanced herself before moving forward to the door slowly and unlocking it and moving out into the hallway, she looked back at him and frowned slightly. Slowly making her way downstairs, she gradually stopped paying attention to Ree, forcing herself to focus on anything else. They couldn't be close in public, and she figured even here might be considered public.
Downstairs, the non-humans were sitting at the large wooden dining table. There was a man with black hair and red eyes with his head mostly down avoiding eye contact and not talking. Next to him was the white-haired arch angel who was having a conversation with Vina whom was sitting on the other side of him. They appeared to be talking about Livy who had still not returned to the servant house, worried voices as Vina told him she'd check into it. Then there was an empty space then the still life who was sitting and eating food like everyone else with a happy grin on her face and there were two empty chairs next to her. The still life was swinging her legs and humming to herself as she chewed. Katarina, the fae was still in the kitchen section of the room, preparing two more plates as she looked over to the stairs to see Ree and Ashral descending. There was a faint smile on her face before she moved over and placed the plates of food at the two empty spaces at the table then moved back to the kitchen to begin cleaning.
Marq looked up to see Ree and narrowed his eyes. Shoving the rest of his food into his mouth, he got up from the table. "Come on, Nero. We have work to do." he half-demanded to the black-haired man next to him who flinched slightly, looked up at him, revealing the thin reminiscence of an old scar across his face as he looked a bit flustered by the sudden command to go.
"Marq!" Vina barked, glaring at him then looked to Nero with a kinder face. "Don't let Marq pressure you, take your time." she instructed and Nero nodded slowly then lowered his head to continue eating. Marq narrowed his eyes at Vina slightly then softened into a frown as he sighed then turned, moving to put the dish in the sink and left the room towards the main part of the house.
"Good to see you're both feeling better." Vina offered with a smile but her voice showed how regretful she was they were all back on the island. "Katarina is a fairly good cook, so come eat..."
Ashral analyzed all the people in the room before almost glancing back to Ree, but stopping herself as she continued and sat down at the table next to the still life. She put the paper and pencil on the table next to the plate since she didn't have any pockets then began to eat slowly, mostly picking at the food than really eating it.
The still life smiled at Ashral, leaning to her. "Hey, don't look so sad... Today you get to go with me into the main house. Miss Lena requested us which usually means she's bored and she'll just put you in fancy dresses. It's kinda fun actually." she spoke with a bit of optimism as though trying to cheer her up. Ashral didn't look at the still life as she just frowned. She didn't like the idea, but didn't have much of a choice, sighing slightly. At least she'd be able to try to talk to the still life to get more information.

Ree watched her open the door and head out quietly with only a faint look of pain. Silently he rubbed his face with both hands in a cat like manner until he felt it was clean of tears. Moving to the table he pocketed the knife and headed after her, giving her enough of a head start. Moving down the stairs he glanced at the scene before him, watching the other Arch give him one look and attempted to leave the room in a hurry. He didn't keep his eyes on him long as a shift of wing reminded him of someone else so long ago doing the same. Continuing down the stairs he observed the interaction between Vina, Marq and Nero. Keeping his eyes on Nero for a few more seconds as he observed him just as he reached the landing and kept walking. He meet Vina's gaze as he walked past, his own cold and dead as he went past them into the kitchen, not even reacting to the mention of Ashral being taken away, other than to think that there would likely be some deactivation switch and Ashral might have the chance to ask the still life her questions. Like how is she able to see spirits with the collar on, putting a little more points in his assumption that they had been modified for metas. Moving past the fae he paused by a counter and pulled out the knife, putting it down he continued walking with a faint limp outside.

Katarina shifted her gaze to look at Ree as he approached while she was doing the dishes, watching him put the knife on the counter and gave him a single nod before returning to the dishes, her expression not changing.
Vina hadn't expected him to walk outside as she got up from the table suddenly. "H-hey!" she called out as she left after him. She walked after him, but kept a slight distance from him. "Pretty bold of you to be walking around like this... Hey, if you want to see things, let me go with you. I'm suppose to show you around anyway and they'll be less inclined to keep a keen eye on you if I'm around you." she spoke out in a hushed voice but loud enough for him to hear. She was hoping he was okay, noticing the limp likely from his jump out the window before.

Ree turned back to look at her and smiled darkly but it never reached his eyes, those continued to stay cold and dead. "I think you did enough...don't you?" his voice was soft but with enough warning to make her think that keeping her distance might be a good idea. He lifted his wings slightly flapping them once without any lift and watched her to make sure she got the point before turning away. He started gritting his teeth as his breath started to speed up a little but turned away from the gate not wanting to see if they were open or not because he knew he wouldn't be able to restrain himself then. Heading back in the direction of the garden looking around for anything else that might be useful.

Vina paused in slight alarm, his voice disturbingly cold and dark. Almost like a completely different person, which honestly frightened her even if she hardened her gaze in defense but made no advances to shorten her distance from him, hanging back to at least stay in his relative area else she get in trouble if the watchers reported seeing him on his own. Folding her arms, she just appeared to be in deep thought, but not paying too close attention to Ree at the moment.
Upon searching the area of the garden, he noticed a toolshed off to the side that the lock had been left unlocked and the door was open, showing no one inside it. From where he stood, he could see a lot of quite useful things. There was a garden hose, gardening sheers, bug bombs, pesticides, a few bags of fertilizer, a can of gasoline, trash bags, twine, and heavy duty gloves.

Ree stared around the garden silently turning to look into the shed as if curious. He stood there taking note of everything he saw inside then turned away, nothing he could use with Vina so close by and again the mention of those watchers. Not that any of them interfered last night or even when he rushed out yesterday. Literal watchers? Turning away he started walking along the wall one hand to the stone as he focused on the area, trying to see the best place to put sentries if it was him. Either electrical, which he was training to hear, magical or living. With that in mind he started following the edge of the wall, looking in and to the top of the wall every now and then, he gazed at what he could see of the other side trying to see what the area outside this place was.

Really focusing on the electrical pulses, he couldn't exactly hear any electronics besides the electricity provided to the house and it's appliances within. Past that, there were not any electronics outside.
Beyond the walls were the tops of trees in the near distance. There was also second section of the grounds that was locked with a gate, through the metal gate he could see it was enclosed and there were a few smaller trees within and cobblestone steps that lead to a sort of winged shrine built of wood that had two doors that could used to enter it. The front exterior was decorated with hanging unused lanterns and hanging strips of paper with writing on them that billowed in the wind. The area was less kept than the other parts of the main grounds but looked to have been recently used. Ree would get a slightly dreaded feeling from the shrine like he didn't want to be around it, but it appeared fine.
Beyond that, there didn't appear to be much else close enough to see over the wall, only catching glimpse of houses in the distant area.
Vina frowned as she just casually followed at a sizable gap between them, only looking up at him every so often to keep an eye on him. She appeared preoccupied in her thoughts, her eyes looking fairly concerned as she silently kept her eyes downward most of the time.

Ree blinked and focused on the closed gate feeling a faint feeling of dread...and welcoming it as he moved toward it. If he felt dread and knowing the full blast of other Shadow intimidation auras, what worried him would worry others. Stopping in front of the gate he tried to open it and just felt the lock jingle slightly. Glancing back at Vina and noticing her distance he turned his attention to the shrine. Feeling dread and restlessness as he shifted from foot to foot slightly as he observed the shrine. Waiting for the right moment that the wind blew he uses telekinesis to try and snap off about three of the pieces of writing. A feeling...nothing more.

The wind blew and three of the paper slips broke free and fluttered off into the wind away. The feeling of dread didn't increase, but he would begin to feel a sense of familiarity. The same kind of dread felt in the ruins like something bad had happened here. Standing there for much longer, if he continued to focus on the shrine, he would doubt the lack of change. No, there was a change, just so subtle it was barely noticeable. Likely, the paper wasn't the only thing affecting the shrine. Or there was something within also keeping in the awful feeling the place gave off from getting out. Maybe even a combination of both.
Vina was looking up at one of the windows like she was focusing on something in particular but sighed and looked down to see at Ree fixated on the shrine and frowned. Remaining silent, she just stood there waiting, eventually shifting her eyes back toward the ground again until Ree moved again.

Ree frowned faintly and closed his eyes just feeling for any change, it was disorienting when he was unsure if what he felt was produced by an outside force or being improved upon by his own internal reactions. He wanted to rip at more of them to be entirely sure yet he had the feeling that that will be useful maybe. Now if he could only get inside....to what? "What is this shrine?" his voice emotionless as he asked without looking back at Vera, flicker of anger in his eyes.

Vina looked up as he finally spoke to her. She shifted to look at the shrine but still kept her distance. "Not exactly sure... Lady Carmella said it used to be a hospital, her daughters say that it was a sanitarium for mental ill, but from what I've gathered with past servants of the estate is that it's a hall of worship." she paused, trying to think of a better way to put it. Finding no other way to say it to such a cold and emotionless person, she frowned. "They store dead bodies in there. There used to be a time when a punishment severe enough got you locked inside. I think there's even cells in there... but I don't know, I've never been inside. Just heard from people who have.. if they come back." she answered, folding her arms and sighed with furrowed brows. She didn't want to be so blunt about a grim topic, but it was what it was.

"I see" he cast the shrine one last glance but didn't look bothered by the information as he continued to move back around the other side of the property. Musing what he had seen and heard, knowing he was missing a fountain of information that was Vina but she bothered him, they all did. Once upon a time he remembered thinking he could do an assignment that would require going undercover with a collar. It had taken a long time for him to accept placing a collar on himself but now he knew he could never do it... could never go under cover in such a way...could not survive in that way. Looking up again he glanced around looking for anything else on this side of the house when he made the mistake of looking toward the gate. His heart started beating faster as he shifted and started to walk faster. "Stop" he said in a soft whisper and was gone as panic surge through him as he ran full tilt toward the gate.

Vina sighed again, keeping her arms folded as she continued following him for now. She heard him say something but couldn't pick up what it was, "What was th-.." Suddenly, he was in a full run for the gate again. "s**t!" she cursed as she took off running after him again. "Stranger! Don't!" she called out, trying to keep hushed so as not to draw attention to the situation but that was hard as Marq, who had been walking by also noticed, dropping what he was doing to grab Vina's arm as she ran past. "Let him, it's the only way he's going to learn." he hissed angrily.
Vina shot a hard glare at Marq, "Don't touch me!" she hissed back, ripping her arm back from his grasp and continued running for Ree. Marq narrowed his eyes, watching them and gritting his teeth. He knew Vina was just going to keep getting hurt trying to protect the newcomer and feeling it useless as he saw what he was really made of the night before. "Idiot." he muttered.
Upon passing the gates perimeter, it would cause the collar to emit an electrical shock. It was a little less painful than the last time, but not by much. Vina hesitated as she made it to the gate, she hadn't checked what limitations she still had as she took a breath and ran towards Ree, not feeling the shock as she had before. "..are you kidding me..." she muttered as she tried her best to grab Ree. "You have to stop, you're going to pass out again!"

Ree cried out and pushed on, glancing around as he heard Vina coming up behind him. "LET ME GO!!!!" He roared at her slamming all 6 wings back to avoid her as he kept moving, his hands on the collar again and getting it burned like last time as he tried to get further. Gone was the emotionless coldness of before and now it was pure panic again boarding on inane focus to get out of both the place and the collar. Wings lifted and tried to take off only to lift him a few inches before he collapsed to his knees. Nails/claws reaching up and clawed at his neck where the burned marks from yesterday were still blistering and now opening again. He got a little further than last time before collapsing again.
