Rolloverblackbird cake (Elidae) At some point, you find a raffle ticket with a smiley face drawn on it stuffed into your leg pouch. When did that get there? Micillia (Caiden) Lutrin flings a ticket at you before scampering off, screaming. It's another one of those nights. leon_a_darkangel (Xavier) Lutrin pelts this ticket at you from across the race, before dashing away in a hurry. But what's this? Rollover is not yet complete? Why, that's poppycock, you say! Indeed it is, much poppy, and much... uh... Anyway, you'll just have to deal with it!

Announcement Oh no! In the early evening when the maintenance crew was spreading salt on the roads, some of the salt got on the race track. For anyone who doesn't know, snails hate. It is super-extra-very-not-good for them, and while Lutrin won't go into the details she does mention something about “osmosis” with a gaunt, dead-eyed expression. Probably better not to ask. At any rate, she has done her best to clean up the track, but with so little time to wash it away, she is sure to have missed some. The last third in particular is looking pretty sketchy... salty rather. It's about turn into a very tight race. The snails are going to need some extra support tonight if they're to cross the finish line! As such Lutrin has set up place for an audience to sit! If anyone is fond of watching paint dry, they'll love watching snails race. Rules:As usual, players will be to rolling 1d10 to calculate their progress. There's a catch though. Any snail that has passed the 30 foot marker will only move at half speed (rounding up!) as they try to navigate the difficult terrain. On the other hand, the fresh water Lutrin sprayed down the other parts of the track sure have made it a lot easier to ooze along. Any player whose snail that has not yet passed the 30 foot marker can roll an additional 1d10. This second roll must be done in a separate post from your first. For the sake of everyone's sanity, if your snail passes the 30 foot marker during this second roll, disregard the half speed penalty for that roll only. Any further movement gained via lettuce or carrots are only half speed! Finally, snails may gain additional movement from the audience! Every cheer grants a snail a flat rate of 2 movement (this is unaffected by the half speed penalty). While a player cannot officially cheer for their own snail, they can cheer for others. A troll may only cheer for a snail once. After all, who wants to sit around all night cheering on snails as they creep towards the finish line? Aside from Lutrin. They can however cheer for as many different snails as they'd like! So get all your friends! You've got a race to win! If you are cheering for a snail, you must write at least one sentence of RP. Please use the code below: Go Go Speed Racer! Snail: Write the snail name here! Troll: Write the OWNER of the snail here. Not the name of the troll who is cheering! Also for Green's sanity please, please, PLEASE include your progress total in your post. And by progress total I mean the distance your snail has travelled altogether from the start line. I know it's the last day, but I would really appreciate it!

Dawn of the Final Day “Gooooooood evening, ladies and gentletrolls!” Perched in a tall chair that overlooked the race track, megaphone in hand was Lutrin. She had the volume turned up as high as it could go and yet she still shouted into the speaker. Periodically, it let out an electric squeal. “This is it!” she continued. “The moment you've been waiting for! Or rather the night, since it's still going to be a while. Hehe. But, anyway! The home stretch! The grand finale! The conclusion to a never before heard epic! The last night of racing! Gasp!” She covered her mouth with her hand. “Now, I know what you're all thinking. Let's be real. That speedy devil Prism has got this in the bag. So far, he's been a real straight slimer, charging towards that goal line with that cute little foot of his. Oh! Cool fact! Snails have feet! Or precisely one foot. That's what their tail is! Or rather... their foot is. They also breathe out of a hole on their back! The things you learn!” Pulling the megaphone away, she made an arc over her head with both hands like a rainbow. “Anyway, Prism's had a pretty good run, but I think he's looking pretty tired. He's sprinted almost the entire track and I'm not sure he can keep up the pace. But let's ask the snail himself. Maybe he can give us an insider's opinion. How about it, Prism? Ahem!”Lutrin stopped a moment to clear her throat. Then, blowing out her cheeks, she proceeded to speak very quickly with high-pitched, exceptionally peppy voice. “Thanks for having me here tonight, Lutrin! I'll tell you what, I make it look easy, but this race has been a real challenge for me. I've had a tough sweep, but I'm determined to turn it all around and win this thing. It's taken everything I've got to get as far as I have, and I won't lose now!”“That's great to hear, Prism!” Lutrin said in her usual voice. “Aren't you worried about any of the competition though? That Swirls has shown a lot of potential! If you don't watch out, she could catch up and steal the grand prize!”“Swirls is a great racer,” 'Prism' said, “But she's still just a beginner. She needs to learn to pace herself.”“Like you?” Lutrin asked. “Like me!”A laugh track played from a set of speakers hidden beneath the stands for the audience. “Honestly though, if there's one snail I'm worried about, it's Squish. She's hardly moved since the race and I don't know her skill set. If she's a sprinter, she could win this thing!”“Wow! That's fascinating! Well, thanks for the information, Prism, but we better let you get back to the race! Can't have Swirls passing you up. Best of luck out there!” Lutrin cleared her throat again. “What do you say to that, folks? It sounds like Prism is in this to win! Let's check in with that other racer he mentioned though, our very own dark hoofbeast, Squish!” She took a deep breath. “So Squish! I don't know if you know this, but you've become a crowd favourite. Even Prism is getting nervous! Could you let us in on your game plan?” Lutrin paused and held the megaphone out to the side for the 'snail' to 'speak'. “...”“Looks like she doesn't wanna share! Well then, what do think of your fellow contestant Prism?”“...”“Hmmm...” Lutrin leaned way out from her chair, staring down at the track. Suddenly she let out a laugh. “Looks like this snail is actually asleep!” Cue the laugh track once more. “I don't know about you guys, but I don't think Prism has anything to worry about! Now, for our next racer!”The commentary went on and on, with Lutrin providing voices for each and every snail. She only ever stopped talking to take a swig from her large cup of honeydew. [ And with that Gastropod Games is ready for the next night of racing! Players may now roll! ]

Chestnuts: 2 - 2 for carrot purchase = 0 Lettuce: 0 Carrots: 0
It was part of his schedule now. Take a break a little after midnight and go dive into the chestnut pit. It was a soothing therapeutic activity that blended his mind with nature. He could pretty much do this with his eyes closed and he did.BANG Amonee crashed straight into the tarp covering the pool. WTF? Why? He flailed in it for a bit and scrambled out of the pool.
After that he bought a carrot.Quote: Gettin' My Loot!: carrot Chestnuts Remaining: none

Prism was so close. Caiden was crying in joy. The tears were literally flowing down his cheeks. Suddenly the boy had an idea. Maybe his best-est best buddy would help him cheer on his snail. It was the only way. Full of determination Caiden went out to ask Engrav to help cheer on Prism, to the finish line!
