Her first set of games hadn't gone so great, but she hoped the score picked up in this one.
Punkie grinned at Polair. Of course she was going to take up the challenge. Friendly rivalries were what made the world go around! The juggalo enthusiastically stepped up to the bowling ally and threw the ball. It didn't exactly roll, but it was a start. The juggalo whooped and cheered as each ball went rolling down the lane.

As Etsali finished her second game, she suddenly came to the realization that there was a lot more going on than she'd initially realized. Apparently that seadweller who owned the booth (she felt a little awkward now, realizing she'd never gotten a name somehow) was throwing down a glowling challenge. She figured she had more than enough practice by now to give it a good go.
[FRAME ONE (5,5)] | [FRAME TWO (3,1)] | [FRAME THREE (2,1)] | [FRAME FOUR (2,1)] | [FRAME FIVE (5,4)] | [FRAME SIX (2,1)] | [FRAME SEVEN (STRIKE] | [FRAME EIGHT (1,1)] | [FRAME NINE (4,3)] | [FRAME TEN (3,3)]
10, 4, 3, 3, 9, 3, 10, 2, 7, 6 Her first run through had been fairly decent, she knew, but she was going to have to really step it up if she wanted to compete. Getting a spare early on was a pretty good sign she was on her way, but she couldn't help letting out a loud cheer as she managed a strike too.
[FRAME ONE (1,0)] | [FRAME TWO (3,3)] | [FRAME THREE (5,5)] | [FRAME FOUR (7,1)] | [FRAME FIVE (STRIKE)] | [FRAME SIX (2,1)] | [FRAME SEVEN (2,1)] | [FRAME EIGHT (5,5)] | [FRAME NINE (1,0)] | [FRAME TEN (4,3)]
1, 6, 10, 8, 10, 3, 3, 10, 1, 7
And now for the final go! She got off to a rocky start but kept at it, sure of her ability to pull out a win somehow. Sure enough, she was rewarded with another spare and then, amazingly, another strike! She hurried to tally up her score, hoping it had been enough to beat the champ. The moment she was finished, she couldn't keep the grin off her face. She'd done it!

Polair watched some players knock over some pins. Not bad at all. With her neutral expression she handed out her tickets. "Thank you for stopping by. Such a shame I'm closing up soon... I do hope to see you again."

"Hey wow, thank you, I guess all that practice really did pay off!" Etsali held up her grand prize, admiring the space within, then glanced back at Polair with a little grin. "I guess since I've reached the top, I might as well go ahead and cash in, right? I think I still have..." The orangeblood reached into her bag, fishing around, and soon enough had produced a couple of hand fulls of tickets. With forty one normal tickets and twenty one from the VR game, she was sure she'd earned a good haul.
She looked over every single one of the prizes as she deliberated over what she wanted to get. The VR prizes were pretty easy, at least, because she'd liked the way the swords had glowed in game and obviously she needed a power source to go with it! The main ticket prize, though...Well, in the end there was no contest. Honestly, she'd known she wanted that shiny telescope from the moment she'd seen it.
For once in her life, though, she wasn't considering keeping it for herself. If she'd stopped and thought about that, she might have been shocked, but as it was, the only thought in her head was that she knew someone who would definitely want it even more than she did. With a little laugh, she glanced back at the young seadweller.
"This really was a a lot of fun. I'll have to keep an eye out for you next time. Bloodfest can always use a little more shine, right?"
