 Quartz managed to find the cafeteria and liberated a few sandwich ingredients. Once she had her loot, she found a nice little spot and set things up. Almost immediately she began to attract slimes. Quartz just giggled and knelt down to watch them eat the food, finding too much enjoyment in their happiness to try to catch one. Once the food was gone most of them scattered again, but a couple stuck around. Quartz reached out to pet the closest one to her. It made a very happily contented sound, then crawled up in her lap where it settled, clearly not intending to move. Quartz just sat there for a bit, gently petting the little slime. It seemed like it had fallen asleep. She straightened up, then carried her new friend home, being careful not to jostle them.

 For now Somansh was going to keep trying to sneak around and hopefully catch a slime, hoping her wings would stop being a problem for her. So far it wasn't proving helpful, but maybe she would find herself lucky? Apparently not, because they were still causing a huge problem for her!

 Lazarus didn't know the slimes were following him in secret, hoping to hear more of him singing and playing music. He just wanted to for now find a spot he could focus enough to be able to do those things without the other nightmares and daydreams who were being noisy getting in his way. Sitting down alone, he took his instrument back out and began to play again, his voice ringing through the air and producing wave lengths desirable for the ear to hear. Once again he was entranced by his own music.

Exodus was pretty pooped at this point. He hadn't run around and chased anything in forever. Even chasing tail wasn't this athletic! After catching his breath some, he got back in the game, but boy he was not playing well as he missed again!Matty decided that maybe he should give up some of the stress eating he had been doing recently. He was in shape. That shape being on the round side of things. He laughed as he missed another slime and wondered if rolling around might work any better!Tricia was so far from unamused by all this psycho slime bullshit. She just sat outside, watching all the idiots stumble and fall over themselves while trying to catch the stupid things. What she didn't notice until it was too late is that one was bouncing right for her and squished right against her face!

 Sidhe really had no desire to catch one of the slime things. They were sorta cute but they were slime. Of course that didn’t last long when one landed on her head messing up her hair before it jumped off and went running away. Oh… oh it was on and that slime was going to be sorry. With a huff she started the chase.

 "Please wait for me!" she called out to the slime, still going after it. All she wanted was to befriend it, was that so hard to do? Was she really that undesirable for being a friend to the slimes. Her daddy, mommy, sibling, and friends so far didn't think so, so why why did the slimes not like her? Right now she wasn't being able to find out, still chasing after the slime who hadn't even looked back.

 Unfortunately the poor slime had never been chased by a rather pissed off Bakeneko before and it panicked jumping left when it should have jumped right and bam Sidhe was now holding one scared and shivering slime… great now it was going to look at her with those little eyes and she was gonna cave and… “fine I’m not going to serve you up for dinner. Go on” sidhe let the thing down on the ground and folded her arms. “but next time don’t go jumping in a poor girl’s….hair” the bakeneko trailed off as the critter wibbled and then jumped up attaching itself to her foot… no matter what she did she could shake it off and when she did it wibbled again and jumped in her bag… “ALRIGHT ALRIGHT YOU CAN COME HOME WITH ME” And now it was making happy sounds…. Gyaaah.

"Dumb wings," she told herself out loud, trying to find a spot to hide as her self-anxiety about her horrible wings started to become too much for her. She held herself in her arms and rushed into the restroom, closing one of the doors and sitting down as she tried hard to not cry. She truly didn't like her wings. Not only were they a reminder that she wasn't really a part of either world, it was another thing just getting in her everyday life, causing problem after problem. Somansh just remained there, nothing bothering her for the time being as she tried to keep her cool. Crying wasn't something she tried to do, so it was a good thing she had managed to get by herself just now.

He continued to just sing and preform for what he thought was himself, tapping his foot to keep in rhythm and to help him with speeding up the song. Seemed the little guy watching really liked it. However, the slime decided to stay at a distance, hiding inside the plant where Lazarus couldn't see it.

"Please Stop!" she called out, tripping over a pebble and falling into the grass next to the side walk. She tried not to cry, since she wasn't hurt, but it had startled her quite a bit. Where was mommy and daddy right now? Where was her brother? She needed a hug. No hug came though, her managing to get up and go over to a bench so she could see if she had hurt herself any.

Exodus slowed down again, flopping on the grass next to a tree as he worked to catch his breath once more. He missed a few more slimes and decided he needed a bit of a break now. At least his kid had some great luck!Matty decided that for the hell of it, he'd roll through the grass and try and catch some slimes by squishing them! That plan, however, backfired as he tail and ears got stepped on by some freshlings. Luckily, he had gotten better about holding in cursewords and just curled up instead, feeling like he'd been kicked in the junk from that!Katinka decided it was high time she join the fun! She raced right out into the fray and dove right at a group of slimes. They sure didn't stay put and she missed them completely... but she came out of it with an impressive somersault and popped right back up on her feet again!

Deciding she needed to head back to her room now that she was able to control her near crying, Somansh made her back back to her dorm room, noticing a slime in front of her that didn't look like it was expecting anyone. Perfect! Sneaking forward, she did her best to not scare it off before lunging forward to catch it. it noticed her right as she had jumped though due to her wings going through the air, jumping out of her reach and running off. She was now on her knees and elbows, trying to not cry again. What had gone wrong this time? Had it heard her wings as she went to jump for it?

 He wasn’t sure why he was out here. In fact Huginn was perfectly fine without having a familiar there were enough at his house after all, but the slime had looked lonely… and well huginn had a few minutes before class. He could definitely play with it. It took a while before he realized it wanted him to try to catch it? Ah well others were trying to catch them… he could try?

Still singing, he kept it up for quite awhile until he was getting tired, stopping his music and beginning to put his instrument away. As he was doing so he noticed the slime that had been watching him, looking at it a little shocked. Had it been listening to him? The two of them just stood there for a bit, looking at each other blankly until Lazarus began to move toward it. The slime was suddenly scared off back into the plant, Lazarus giving off a sigh ", You like my music and everything, but you are still scared of me."

Exodus was trying to decide if he wanted to get up and keep doing this or not, when a slime plopped on his head out of nowhere! Of course, the moment he reached for the dang thing, it was gone like that! "Oh dangit! I'll get one of you guys!" he said with a laugh as he pulled some slime from his hair.Matty groaned and slowly unfurled from the fetal position he had found himself in. Quick as he could manage, he sat up and pushed off from the ground. Rolling was not the way to do this. He stumbled a few steps, grabbing half-arsed at some slimes, but didn't catch any. Not that he was expecting to right then.Katinka swayed her tail to and fro as she watched the chaos about her. She was trying to find something she could catch. There! Thinking that she had it!, the grimmlin leapt into action, but the slime moved out of her grasp just in time!
