"Aloha." Kai waved at the new ghoul Demona had glommed on to. "Nice to meet boo."
After proper greetings, Kai tapped Demona on the shoulder.
"Hey, can we talk in private for a moment?" It was getting late...the end of the ball was clearly looming with Atomica taking the stage. It was time to ask Demona The Question.

Mona smiled "of course"
she walked off taking his hand leading him outside the bathrooms where it was a touch quieter
"This is an all-too-familiar scene" she smiled "well..not really the whole bathroom part..."
She blushed she knew what he wanted but she kinda loved to torture him
"What do you want to talk about?"

"Sure, Demona, you could totally borrow my jacket." She smiles and winks at Kai, "I may need to borrow something of yours one day." She joked in the direction of Kai
"Fintastic to meet you too! Wicked accent!" They chatted a bit, but her attention was drawn to the stage, to enjoy the concert.

Demona MH "What do you want to talk about?" "Well, I mean, it's been a big night..." Kai fidgeted with his claws a little bit. "I think our families got along pretty well - even Damon and Octavia seemed to hit it off. And being here with you has been..." Kai struggled a little bit to describe what he felt. Talking about feelings - not a boo specialty."Well, it's like, a week ago, I thought you were pretty much gone forever. You had this big career in Grrmany, and I had my plans laid out through the Summer, and it didn't seem like we were ever going to connect again. But then you came back, and it just feels..." Kai put a claw on her shoulder, pulling her a little bit closer to him."It feels right. Does it feel right for you too?"

"Jadzia?? JD has a sister?!?" Vanissha scratched her head asking Melody. "He never mentioned having a sister...." Suddenly the trio was pushed on the stage and they were meant to perform!
And perform they did!! Each of them taking their place, as Jadzia, didn't have the devilish looks of her brother, she sure could play a tune really well!
Once their first song was over, Vanissha, although impressed with her Musical ability, thumbed over to Jadzia asking her band mates.
"She's, like, totally temporary though right? I mean like, It was a clawsome Audition. It's just we need to put it to a vote If she's going to be like, totes offical." In truth, the selfish Vanissha didn't want to fracture the attention of R.I.P even farther! Bad enough Marceline was like super popular now. What the heck happened there?
Vanissha shrugs.

While Gryff was busying himself, waiting for that little gremlin fiend of his to return from the boofet table with a plate of nibbles for him, Layla spent her time idling smiling at him for his rather gruff demeanor and chatting with the prince of Boogoslavia, trying to save face for that rather abrupt performance by that space boo, whoever he was. She was saying that she would have words with him about his actions when she felt something bump into her."Hexcussse me." Layla smiled at the prince and she turned around and looked -- down -- (she has been propped up on her tail) and smiled at one of her many school guests."Oh! Hello Cassandra! I do love your outfit! Are you enjoying the fessstivities?"

"Erm, sure?"Shad had just been about to ask Melody if she wanted to dance (you can tell by how badly he was shaking and the fact he was choking on his own words) when the ghoul of his screams rushed off, out of the blue.
Shad frowned, wondering if he had done something? He looked at the small plate of gorederves and cupped his hand at his mouth and nose. Two quick breaths confirmed it."Nope. The pipes are clean!"Shad wandered over towards where Kai had just been left and sighed."Is it just me or do the howlidays make the werekittens a little trippy?"

Layla LaMia "Oh! Hello Cassandra! I do love your outfit! Are you enjoying the fessstivities?" "Uhm thank you and uhm no. I'm not, not really. Crowds aren't my thing" She shrugged "isn't Atomica doing wonderfully?" She tried to get off the subject as quickly as possible "She's just uhhmazing. I'm so glad she's happy....And you are you happy?" She mumbled She fiddled with her shawl "I mean it must be boring having to talk to all these people without hardly any time to spend with...your date" her voice trailed off, she was practically word vomiting all over the place. "Sorry if I'm annoying you I just thought..." She chuckled nervously "I wonder what Spectra's blog would say about me talking to you. Probably weird jealous threats perhaps."

She smirked cupping his cheek "Kai, everything with us just...clicks." she smiled She kissed his cheek "which is why...i'm going to be your ghoulfriend again. But this time I don't plan on picking up my passport any time soon... unless it's to see your fam of course." She bounced

"Well...now I don't need anything else for Cryptmas." Kai took Demona's hand and the two headed back towards the dance floor. "All of my nightmares have come true."
"Kai!" The two were grimterrupted by the arrival of Kai's step-sister. She had her arms wrapped around...
"Check it out! I have a boofriend now!" Kai's jaw dropped as Octavia hugged a lanky, teen idol vampire... "It's my scream come true!"
Kai looked at Demona. And then back at Octavia. And then at her...boofriend?!
"Scary Stiles?!"

"Dearly Departed," Atomica spoke into the microphone as the lights lowered in the ballroom. "We are gathered here today to spellebrate this thing called life. Electric word, life, it means forever, and that's a mighty long time."
"Hey, Prance!" Jimi Hexdrix poked the Faun sitting next to him in the back of the ballroom. "They're singing your song!"
"Fangtastic." The Faun sat back and watched the show.
"You're not going to plot some elaborate revenge on them for stealing your spotlight?" Hexdrix asked, bewildered.
"I only want to see them screaming in the purple rain." Prance replied. Hexdrix shrugged and went back to watching.
"So if the spellevator tries to break you down, go crazy!" Atomica called out as the lights blazed up and the Rest in Peace (Feat. Jadzia Leeds) started to perform.
"If you don't like
The world you're living in
Take a look around
At least you got friends!"
Perhaps meaningfully, Atomica looked down into the crowd gathered below the stage. She couldn't see Marceline anywhere.
"You see I called my old monster
For a friendly word
She picked up the phone
Dropped it on the floor
"Ahh! Ahh!" is all I heard
Are we gonna let the spellevator bring us down?
Oh, no LET'S GO!!"
The crowd all cheered and sang along with the chorus.
"Let's go crazy
Let's get nuts
Let's look for the purple banana
Until they put us in the truck, let's go!"

Estrella Espacio Finally....horns could lower back in place. She looked like a were-pup the whole time....
She adjusted the pouch round' her neck and continued consuming most of this party's food supply. Surprisingly this Boo was keeping up! Finally she was "full" and stopped...after one more mozzarella stick...noms!
She eyed him.
"I am.....but I will not disclose where I come from....." Still not totally trusting him. "Stellar. I don't want to pry." He smiles, then tilts his head to the sound of music a smile spreads across his face. "Would you care to dance?"

Harry was searching the ball for his date. He hadn't known Dragons were so stealthy. One would think one could find a fire breathing cosmic being easily. Then Atomica's band started playing a Prance cover. Harry winced at the boosic.
"Ugh, Prance is corpserate packaged pop- Atomica?"
Atomica's presence onstage had totally distracted the Fae Prince...which was why he stumbled right into the arms of Marianna Trench. She was nearly as tall as he was and his eyes were inches from hers.
"Uh..."

"Hey Tasty! Uh!! I mean. HI! " Marianna's swift moves caught the Fea Prince in her arms. When she looked into his eyes she realized, he may not have recognized her as she was Challenger Deep when they first encountered each other. She sure didn't want him too. She needed to distract him quickly.
She bounces up and down on her toes and bobs her head to the music. "Well if you wanted to dance just say so! Love your movies!" Once the music hit she was in full on rock concert mode!
"This is fintastic!" She smiles, showing her shark-like teeth, momentarily forgetting not to do that. "I'm the new ghoul and school. Names Marianna." She shakes his hand in hers a few times all the while still dancing. "What's your name?" she shouts over the music.

Marianna was whipping Harry around the dance floor so fast his head was spinning. Tasty? His moves? Why were they dancing? SUDDENLY SHAKING VERY HARD! Aaaaand back to being whipped back and forth to Prance.
"Uh...Harry?"
Why did that come out as a question? Maybe if he complimented her she would let him go? Was that a thing?
"Your teeth are very pointy."
