And a lynx? That was, like, double badass. Or something. Unfortunately, Rubythroat didn't have much in his repertoire, other than being great at talking someone's a** off.
Lynxes, smart as they could be, couldn't really understand a thing he said, and even though his tone of voice was as sweet and honeylike as could be...well, it was safe to say this was not a story he could tell Sweet Talk without coming off a fool. Whoops!

 Rob showed up, looking small and bright but not altogether very intimidating, unless you were a loose possession or bit of food that had gone unsupervised.
Subsequently, she was paired with a bird.
A very large bird.
The bird was almost larger than her.
"Now, let's all stay calm. What a handsome set of feathers!"

The swan, somehow, looked very pleased with itself.
"And that neck!" Rob praised, "how slender. You're the color of the fresh snow! And as fierce as a storm. It'll be a lucky bird who chooses you as their mate."
With all the flattery, the swan wandered out of the ring to preen.
It counted as a victory. Sort of. Rob also looked pleased with herself.

Thankfully, there was no swan to be found this time, just a large wasp. Which was easy enough to chase back given his tail. A small portion of Blue Blood's ego restored, he didn't know how much more of this he could take.

The shy kiokote almost tripped on the pangolin (and running in his mind already was oh no I screwed up! Oh no!) But thankfully he caught himself at the last moment, hooves hitting the ground and then turning --- to see the pangolin sleeping once again. And it wasn't very hard then to battle his opponent, just merely kicking it with his hoof as it rolled away to the side seeking comfortable slumber...

The little yellow and black doe who wandered into the ring didn't seem very intimidating. Then again, not everyone had won by intimidation alone.
The boar that Okay is Wonderful seemed to be facing, though? He looked very intimidating.

That was all right, though. "You can call me Optimist," she said, to the assembled audience.
Then she turned to the boar, which - well, it was a boar. It charged. Actually, it'd begun charging before she'd finished her sentence. Clearly she needed to be escorted out.
"That's fine," she said to the booth runners. "I'll come back later. I had a lot of fun!"

He didn't need the caiman to reply for him to kick a**, though. In this case a**-kicking mostly meant stomping furiously on the ground, and leaping gracefully away whenever the caiman looked like it was changing course to head toward the sound. Perhaps the time spent early this morning with that one acha's rock game had warmed him up.
In any case, he somehow found within himself enough stamina to outlast the caiman, which seemed to have lost interest once it realized that he wasn't interested in injuring it, and was also too nimble to be easily turned into prey himself. At this point he just touched his snout to its neck and darted away.
Ha.
He exited gloating.
