Hold Up! Troll: Nahori Gift number: 19 Number of rolls: 1 Outcome: Keeping it!
Though she wasn't sure how, Nahori had avoided a majority of the thievery and mayhem. Signing up for this game had been a stretch of what she was comfortable with, and after the first go at taking the gift she wanted, it was hard to even want to steal anyone else's gift. In fact, she liked the cute little star present. That, and stealing wasn't in her nature, even if it was just a game.
At least when someone did try to take the gift from her, not all that surprising really, it was someone she knew. Someone who didn't scare her. She was able to speak with him rather than shove the gift into his hands without thought and turn tail to run.
"I-I'm sorry, Alifax, b-but I think... I'd like to keep this one. Is that okay?" There was an apologetic look in her eye, a genuine one, but she'd grown fond of this present and planned on defending it if she could. It was hard to say no, especially to a friend, but Nahori was slowly learning how.

OOC
Hey, everyone! Reminding that the game will be ending at 11:59pm MST, tonight. Sorry this is sort of short notice, but steal cut off is at 10pm. If you try to steal before cut off and there is no response by the end, the troll stealing will win the roll and gifts will be automatically swapped for the last tiiiime~ I realize this might be difficult and super late for those in the East, so if you need to defend after cut off, just roll with the code! That's it! Rp isn't required! Fast! Go go goooooo

Gimme That Gift! Troll: Alifax Bunsem Gift number: 14 Number of rolls: 3
Nahori looked up at him with wide eyes and he shrugged: Frossa would understand, if he left her keep it. She at least knew Nahori, after all. And at least this way it was in the hands of someone they liked.
"Sure," he said.
(Well - there was no guarantee that Frossa would appreciate the innards of any of these gifts. But wasn't the goal of the game to swap gifts enough times and then move to the observers' space?)
Anyway. It was time for another target. There was someone holding a very purple box, although it was also obscenely-colored. The person was...oh. He remembered her, although she was taller than he'd last seen her. Airidi? What had the name been?
Well, it didn't matter. He walked up to her regardless. "Miss..." he said, remembering his old "manners" and brandishing his yellow and grey gift.
Hold Up! Troll: Engrav Setlar Gift number: 18 Number of rolls: 2 Outcome: Gift Swap!
Engrav was so distracted by the chaos in the room that he didn't notice the troll that had been sneaking up on him until they bumped into him. He'd been paralyzed by the possibilities of what was in his little brightly-wrapped package. Now Engrav was beginning to regret having signed up for the exchange. Sure he could give anything away, but he could be getting anything from these packages.
And now this greenblood was trying to switch with him. Not suspicious at all!
Engrav squinted at Hazmaz, trying to figure out what the kid was up to. He had a huuuuge coat. Maybe he'd switched the presents under his coat so he could give Engrav something dangerous? No, that didn't make any sense, he wouldn't have known how they were wrapped. Engrav started to sweat profusely. There was too much going on here! He'd thought he had most of the presents and where they were going memorized, but he most have lost track at some point. Maybe the present he had was something important? That had to be it!
he greenblood wanted to steal this present all along!
Unless...
Maybe the one that was important was the greenblood already had? And he knew Engrav wouldn't trade, of course, just so he could get closer to locking the present. Which one could it be? And just how crafty was the greenblood? And what was that smell?
Still squinting, Engrav leaned in and sniffed Hazmaz lightly. He'd been squinting for a while now, actually, and his eyes were starting to water, but Engrav didn't dare take his eyes off the greenblood. Smelled like... chemicals? And dust? No, that didn't sound right. He got a little closer and took a big sniff, really got the smell into his nose. Sniff.
Smelled like earth and dust and something acrid and maybe explosive. Smelled like someone suspicious. Smelled like someone Engrav wasn't going to trust. But it also smelled like someone tricky enough to know that he wouldn't be trusted. Which meant he was trying to lock his gift! Unless he'd known that Engrav was crafty enough to work out his plan, and had actually decided to swap gifts in the first place. Then he'd ba able to tell that Engrav would second-guess the logic behind it and switch in spite of what he wanted. Or maybe that's just what Engrav wanted him to think. Damn, this troll was tricky, and HAD to be hiding something! He must not want this present he has to be traded, so Engrav had better trade it while he still could and try to hold onto it for the rest of the round.
"Yeah, ok. I'm Engrav. Nice to meet you." Engrav said, sounding totally nonchalant and not at all suspicious. "I guess I can trade if you really want to. Or whatever. "

Caiden was under a blanket. It was a nice, warm, thick and safe blanket. He heard trolls talking. One was that blueblood. Caiden could tell. His voice sounded blue. At least he was talking quietly. It gave the brownblood some time to breath.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Finally Caiden was relaxing. None of those trolls were trying to hurt him. He had over reacted. Caiden even considered lifting up the blanket and talking to the blueblood and apologizing for his outburst. Then Caiden felt another body press up against him under the table and more whispers. Oh gosh, more trolls. They were fallowing him. Maybe Engrav was right... Maybe everyone was out to get everyone else... The thought struck Caiden like lightning through his young innocent heart. No! There HAD to be someone else good harted out there. Caiden poked his head out of the blanket. The blueblood was still there, but he had gotten up and was distracted. "Eek im sorry about screaming ill just take that." Caiden whispered as he grabbed the gift he was pretty sure was his and scuttled away. Where was she. The other kind troll. The troll Caiden was sure was nice.
There she was. The yellow troll with the smile, and the laugh, and the hat.
Caiden almost cried in joy. She was bigger and older than the brownblood, maybe she could even protect him from scary blue and red bloods. Well if anything, the brownblood needed a hug. Elidae was in the middle of something by the looks of it. Presents were all about in the air. Where they would land no one knew. So, Caiden threw his present up into the pile, roughly at greenblood (Kursha) and then sat down on the floor and hugged the yellowblood's leg. He wouldn't interrupt. He could wait till she had time to talk.

Hold Up! Troll: Kursha Vidari Gift number: 5 Number of rolls: 4 Outcome: No.
[+] Kursha Vidari
Kursha had hardly finished speaking when the orangeblooded child with the colourful jacket sprinted over, tossed his gift up into the air, and then dove towards his leg. Juggling his own gift, Kursha just managed to catch the red parcel before it hit Elidae in the face. Honestly, some kids. Without relinquishing his hold on the yellowblood, he lowered the gift back to the floor.

"Hey, you don't have--...!" He looked surprised as Elidae began her recovery mission.
Finally, the tension seemed to break if even for a moment. Stryke for a moment felt every ounce of nerve or fear dissipate. It was all thanks to a single, rather ridiculous moment in time. Even if he felt a pang of guilt that she was unwittingly helping him, he silently thanked Elidae. The playful fussing from the smaller yellowblood directed at Kursha's way, and his antics, followed by her sticking her tongue out from behind the blocked view? Stryke couldn't stop the initiate fits of snickers, that quickly evolved into a full on chuckle. Even if it gave away the secrecy of the exchange it was too late for that.
He covered his hand over his mouth to suppress the abrupt laughing. It wasn't forced, it was simply a rather humorous site! He couldn't help it, he shook his head as he tried to settle down enough to speak. When Kursha slid his arm around her and 'held her' in the arms of the law he twirled the handle of the bag he was holding.
Smoothing his jacket down, he crossed his arms over his chest as he was given a choice. "Given the kind citizen was merely playing in the spirit of things...I don't think you need to take her into questioning." It was his turn to wink back as he waved a dismissive hand to try and help out as a favor for a favor.

Game has ended!

"Eeh?" By reflex, the freckled yellowblood tensed from the sudden close contact. Kursha had his arm around her, with his face awfully close to hers. Too close. With the abrupt flare of apprehension, the teasing smile she originally wore turned tight-lipped, a bead of sweat running down her brow. Heat rose to her face. Blinking rapidly, Elidae's sputtering worsened.
"Wh-wh- You what?" What was it that he did for a living? This was clearly new information for Elidae. Suddenly, the guilt set in, for whatever silly reason. It was obviously just a game after all, yet here the yellowblood stood, feeling like she did something wrong. And it ate at her. "Questioning? Would he actually do that?" It was a dumb question, but slipped out anwyays. She looked to Nozdor imploringly. The redblood was chuckling. Elidae would have started giggling too as a response if a red object hadn't appeared out of the blue in the air, aimed for her face. "Eee!" Instinctively, she held up the gift in her hands as protection. Cracking an eye open, the yellowblooded stood in surprise when she hadn't been hit. She would have given a thank you to Kursha if he didn't still have his arm around her, and now something else was wrapped around her leg. Lifting the parcel and looking down, she saw the top of a child's head. A colorful set of garnets clued on who it was, though Elidae was baffled regardless. In fact, she felt quite dizzy and anxious.
Turning her head slightly, she caught Kursha's gaze in the corner of her eye. After a moment, a wide, toothy smile spread on her face. Tentatively, she slipped her fingers through the looped string, pulling the gift bag from his grasp and replacing it with the brown package. "It's yours!" Elidae squeaked, finally wiggling herself from his grasp, simultaneously being mindful of the child clinging to her leg. Slipping the bag around her wrist and swiping up the red gift to put under her arm, Elidae prepared to book it.
"Oh wow, hey! Look at the time! Better wrap up this game! I'll talk to you guys later!" Elidae said hastily, then looked down at this random small child she met briefly the day before. Pulling the kid up underneath his forearms, she started walking away with him at a brisk pace. Once a little away, she set him down and took a moment to breathe.
“Hey, you doing okay?” The yellowblood carefully crouched down, keeping a gentle hand on the crown of his head. For what reason this small child attached himself to her Elidae did not know, but she did not question it. Putting her own nervousness aside, she offered him a warm smile. “Caiden, was it? It’s time to open your present! Don't you wanna know what's insiiide?” After a friendly wink, she pulled the gift out from under her arm and offered it to him. She put up a 'one moment' finger, then rose to her feet.
“Time’s up! Whatever gift you have in your hand is yours!” The yellowblood yelled across the crowd. "Time to open!" She smiled and wiggled a bit, excited for the ending outcome of her little game. Twisting the bag between her fingers, Elidae admired her own present, wondering what was inside. However, she would wait to open it.
Turning back to Caiden, Elidae set down her gift bag gently on the ground and stooped down next him. Grinning, she patted her knees eagerly. "Go on! I wanna see! I wanna see!"

Ooh! Look! Elidae got:
This bag contains a delicately wrapped package with light green tissue paper. Inside the padding sits a beautiful moon lily of the valley planted in a mason jar. These flowers are known for their sweet fragrance and for blooming at night so trolls can actually enjoy them. A small pamphlet with care instructions for the plant is included in the bag as well.

Ooh! Look! Nucleo got:
You got a succulent, dried sausage! The finely ground meat would be uniform in appearance if not for the scattered chunks of rich fat throughout. The vague smell of honey wafts into the air- it seems to have been expertly smoked and spiced to compliment the meat's intense natural flavours. This clearly isn't something you can buy at a supermarket: it's some high quality stuff!
Yet no matter how hard you try, you can't quite seem to identify what kind of meat it is...

A Butterfly sculpted out of wire, it has Opal gems set into its wings which flash many bright and beautiful colors. Has attachments so it can be used as a hairpin, pendant, or broach.
Tag (RP): Caiden sat in his hive, on the floor wrapped up in a big quilt. He had just had an extremely exciting day. He say Engrav, his FAVORITE, this purpleblood, Frossa, also his favorite, this tall yellowblood, Elidae, his favorite, and so many other trolls, all of whom were new favorites in his life. Sure, he had been very very late to his meet-up with CamoDad, and had received a pretty intense look of disappointment and worry, but after Caiden had hugged his dad and told him everything it was all fine. Now tho Caiden needed a gift thing for this white elephant. He rolled around on his hive ground, his quilt that was already covered in splatters of paint was now collecting more as he rolled through wet paint splotches. Then the brownblood saw a piece of wire, and these pretty rocks he had collected for an adventure earlier that week. The idea sprang into his head. A butterfly! And those rocks, what did CamoDad call them? Opals! They would be EVERYONE'S color! Caiden grabbed up the wire, the rocks, and some other things and burrowed deep into his quilt. It was time to make something great! He could just imagine how it would look in Engrav's hair, or as an accessory for Elidae! Maybe even that blueblood would get it and wear it as a broach! THE OPTIONS! Caiden wanted this one to be a special present, one any troll could wear with pride.

Ooh! Look! Eridia got:
Inside the wrapped gift box are four scented and colored candles. Each candle is crafted into the shape of a rose. When brought up to ones sniffnode, each has a different smell. One smells like vanilla cake, another like mint of some kind, almost like the powerful cold of busthind was embodied in the tiny wax flower, the third a fine floral scent and the final one was a spice that would be hard to place but made one think of the holidays.
