Jing Xiang Lui
~ Lord of the Skies ~

With nothing more than an annoyed glance towards the pair, the other female left while only speaking to another weakling. Really?! Not a word, nor prostrating themselves before either of the pair of elder primal. Jing's golden eyes sparked with a rage akin to only the fieriest of storms. The winds would whip up, and howl, around the toned male, causing his long black hair to flutter about behind him. It wasn't till the other decided to chime in about the weak, did Jing look to him. 'He is one to talk...' Slowly the air grew more chill as a familiar presence would be sensed coming in. He would float down to the course sands below, letting his sandals sink into the loose grains. Golden orbs locking on his companion, 'Lady of the Flames', as she teasingly agrees to his idea to quelling the weak with a set target. "A good hunt would be thrilling... shame there are none to offer such a worthy challenge, but I have a few ideas on how to kill some time." His attention turning to the noble looking maid as she curtsies to him and Sapphira while speaking of it being a pleasure. "Indeed it is. When was the last time the three of us stood together?" Jing would question as he strokes his chin some. The motion of the vacating Hollows being 'friends' cause a scoff to leave him, "That we should. Come Sapphira let us introduce Skadi to our prey.... I mean... no I can not even pretend otherwise at the moment."

User ImageAfter Jing joined the group on the soft sands of the realm, Sapphira would stand leaving the rock she was once resting. It would seem as though her suggestion of where to start sat well with Jing. He would speak in favor of a thrilling hunt, but made not that there was no noteworthy challenge. Sapphira would scoff rather quickly at his comment. "As if anything could stand against us." she would practically growl. It was then another figure would arrive on the scene. Another familiar form, Skadi would greet them with elegance. "It's good to see both of you again... It's been far too long." she would genuinely reply with a hint of softness. Her temper and foul mood calming down. Skadi would ask if the pair who had departed were friends, and requested to be introduced. "Skadi..." she nearly whined. Even when she had calmed down some, she wasn't in the mood to play along. It wasn't something she was very good at to begin with. Jing then somewhat play along with the 'friends' game before giving up. "We should move before they get too far." Taking the lead, she would exit the area via the same direction she watched the two depart earlier.

Anelle Destros stepped forward from her hellish portal into the desolate sands of Muchos, but this had not been her intended target. She felt the surge of reiatsu and the power levels beyond that in sands further on in to this world of Hollow and Arrancar. It was a dangerous place to be for some, but at the same time, she didn't feel the threat. The people here didn't bother her in the slightest, in fact, she was here on a mission of diplomacy and peace... as well as helping establish the new order that would bring terror to the spiritual cosmos once again. So, she did not linger long, she instead moved forward in her quest to find those with like minds. Minds who would share her vision for a burning wasteland of tomorrow, and the screams of agony as her enemies lay broken on the battlefields beyond. Alfheim would soon burn under her might, along with her allies helping hands.

Khan

A large black shadow rose from the ground and ascended like a tower for seven feet. At the peak of the tower sat a white mask with two empty eyes that stared blankly at its own hand. In its hand was a creature, a hollow, that took the shape of a large bird. It had landed on this massive tower thinking it was some kind of structure due to it not moving for awhile. Unfortunately for this bird hollow, this tower was not just a tower but was a hollow itself..a hollow by the name of Khan. Khan stood a good 7ft tall and had two very long arms that usually hid underneath his massive shadowy cloak. Now those arms were occupied, one being used to hold this bird hollow in place while the other pulled the hollow apart limb by limb and slowly devoured it like a chicken breast. The blood rolled down Khan's long, slender fingers and stained his white mask as he stuffed chunks of flesh underneath his mask into his mouth. "M-..M-More" Khan murmured as he licked his fingers clean. Khan had been growing recently, and the more he grew the less he saw other hollows, they were starting to flea from his and his appetite. Khan was strong enough to make his way to better..more satisfying prey..but getting to the prey was not the hard part. Being able to hunt without being slain by the prey was the true hurdle and that is why Khan remains in Hueco Mundo. Not only to continue to feed on weaker hollows and grow stronger but to also run into some allies that can help take some of the heat off of him when he does decide to venture over to the land of the living or soul society.

As Khan licked his fingers clean he noticed some of the bird hollow's flesh and feathers still stuck to his hand, it seemed to be melting, almost as if Khan's skin itself was causing this. Khan had no idea that what he was witnessing was just the precursors to a natural ability that some hollows acquire called acidic touch. While not too much of a big deal for smaller hollows, a larger hollow with large hands could be a real problem when their skin itself is the weapon. Khan stared at the melting body parts on his hand for a moment longer before placing his hands back into his cloak and moving on. While it was something Khan should learn, his mind was still very much focused on food and , while acid was cool, acidic touch was not going to fill his stomach up. Khan scanned to terrain for signs of movement and planned to grab and devour the next unlucky hollow to cross his path that's too weak to fight back.

Khan continued to search the land for any signs of life. While he had the brain capacity of a normal human, imagine a human living 88 years in darkness, feeding on other creatures to survive. Had he been a bit more intelligent or reflective he might have found some deeper meaning to all this, some kind of inspiration that would change how he felt about this place, but he did not have this level of brain function or understanding of himself. To him he was just hungry or not hungry..and lately he had been more and more hungry, no matter how many little hollows he ate. Khan needed something that could satisfy him, something large or at least something with a little fight to it. These fodder hollows he fed on were just finger food, but he had an appetite for a main course. Just the thought of taking a full bite out of something and still having more flesh to eat just made Khan's mouth water. He was used to hollows that he could eat in one or two bites. Khan was only 7ft tall which is pretty small compared to "big" hollows but his body was so strange that it had the tendency to expand even larger when Khan got excited. For instance Khan's mouth is naturally pretty small but, when he goes to take a bite out of something he is eager to eat, it will grow much bigger, big enough to fit his own head into if it were possible. This was nifty for battle but made Khan's appetite far exceed his size, which was already pretty big.

As Khan searched he noticed something..chatter. Chatter was an interesting sound, most of the time it was difficult to pick out any one thing being said, but it was easy to tell that someone was saying something. Khan's skin crawled a bit in excitement as he came to a complete stop, his neck turning 360 degrees in the direction the sounds were coming from. His body then quickly snapped around to the direction of his head as he suddenly exploded into a full sprint, arms tucked back into his robe. Khan usually didn't run..hell he barely moved, but it had been so long since he heard someone actually talk. Just the idea of conversation caused a surge in Khan..it made him think of humans..it made him think of a satisfying feast! Khan let out a bellowing basic hollow roar as he grew closer and closer to where the sounds were coming from. He probably shouldn't have because when he did the sounds stopped, or at least lowered to a frequency that he couldn't hear them as clearly. Good thing for Khan he was already close. Khan eventually came to a sliding stop, his heels displacing the earth underneath him as halted his run. "C-cave?" Khan mumbled as he looked into the opening of the dark cave. This is where the noise was coming from, which was why it echoed as well. Caves were good protection but could amplify and project sound if one wasn't careful, due to echo. Khan's body stiffly moved as he began to creep into the entrance of the cave. He had the tendency to growl or make some kind of noise when he was excited, but he actively repressed that urge at the moment. He was in hunt mode now, no room for error. As Khan moved deeper into the cave, he became more and more hidden from the light of the moon until he became damn near invisible, completely cloaked in the shadow of the cave. He stuck to the sides of the cave in order to further avoid detection and slowly continued on. This cave was pretty deep..which would make someone with a stronger intellect wonder just how these voices were so easy to hear just a moment ago. Had it just been someone too stupid to lower their voice, he would have most likely found them already. This smelled like more of a trap..but Khan couldn't tell; he was just out for his next meal, traps were the last thing on his mind. Besides, traps were only as effective as the trapper and if Khan was the apex predator in these parts, like he thought, he shouldn't have a problem dealing with anything whether traps were involved or not.

Khan crept closer and closer to the center of the cave and finally began to see a sign of life...light. Khan stuck to the shadows and close to the walls, so that even if he was faintly noticed they would most likely just write him off as a peculiar shadow. Khan noticed three beings huddled around what seemed to be a fire. Khan hadn't seen fire in awhile..most things in Hueco Mundo weren't flammable..or at least he hadn't run into many things that could ignite them even if things were flammable. Khan's time here had just been very basic..he doesn't feel hot or cold so there was no need to seek out a fire and his vision was far past the point of needing light to see, after all he was a hollow, most of which lived in the deepest darkest parts of Hueco Mundo. Three hollows sat around a fire, they appeared to be wearing cloaks made of the same shabby material, which was a sign that they could make their own clothes. These beings behaved rather strangely to be hollows that was for sure. Khan watched them motionless, the flame danced and the shadows mirrored every step along the walls of the cave.. but one shadow remained motionless.

One of the hollows finally raised its head and noticed just how still a shadow was compared to others. As this hollow’s eyes lit up in shock so too did Khan’s. When the hollow looked up and noticed Khan, Khan noticed that this hollow’s mask was gone around it’s jaw. Not only was this hollow not damaged from its mask being broken but underneath the mask lied another..smaller jaw. It almost looked like the jaw of a.. ”HUMAN!!!” Khan shouted, instantly giving his presence away to the other two hollows that were sitting down. These other two hollows shot up to their feet while the first hollow fell to its back in fear of Khan’s imposing presence. Khans blood boiled with excitement as his robes flared up and out almost like the tail and fur of a cat in attack mode. His hands outstretched ready to snatch this human face up and devour it. Khan only paused to realize that the other two hollows were missing pieces of their masks as well, one an eye, the other its mouth. These were not human..they were hollow, but arrancar. Maybe if Khan had been a bit smarter he’d have been able to think to ask these beings how they obtained a power such as this..so that he may one day achieve it for himself. Unfortunately Khan wasn’t that smart and instead decided to kill and devour all three of them here and now.

Khan lashed out with a basic hollow roar with both hands opened at each of his sides. He'd go for the weak link first..no he'd go for the strongest first, the weakling will be dessert. Khan went for the arrancar with it's mask's mouth missing, this arrancar was carrying a large sword so he was the most dangerous. The Arrancr raised it's sword but the arm wielding the sword was quickly grabbed by Khan's mighty palm, fingers locked all the way around. Khan yanked the arrancar off balance and then used his other hand to rip right through the arrancar's shoulder and completely sever the arm. Before the blood shooting out could even hit the floor Khan was already approaching the another of the three, the one with the eye. Khan quickly grabbed this arrancar by both shoulders and held it's arms to its side. Khan looked into the visible eye of the hollow, peering straight into the pupil..it made his body tremble with excitement..he couldn't remember the last time he saw such a beautiful eye. Before Khan could even proceed with his plant to pluck the eye out he felt a strange sensation. He had been stabbed in the back it seemed. Khan's head spun around to see his back and saw the scared arrancar..the one with the missing jaw, holding the sword of the sword wielding arrancar while it was plunged into Khan's back. Khan looked at the arrancar as it breathed heavily and tightly gripped the hilt of the blade..it had faced its fear and attacked while Khan's back was turned. What an empty act of "bravery". Khan's head snapped back around in its right direction almost as if he had forgotten about the arrancar currently stabbing him. Suddenly his cloak flared out and hardened to create a shell of spikes that skewered both the arrancar stabbing him in the back and the arrancar he was holding close to him in the front. Khan then proceeded to devour the three low level arrancar before they had time to regenerate..if they even could.

Gundulf The Excel-er
Hollow

▅▅▅▅▅ ▅▅▅▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅

Don't Stay, Forget Our Memories, Forget Our Possibilities, What Were You Changing Me Into, Just Give Me Myself Back, and Don't Stay.

Gundulf, thee fierce fire beast of the wilds, the deep wilds of Hueco Mundo. These deserts, so grainy, and so unhitched by the dark burnt marks Gundulf would leave behind as his body is so spiraled with fire. The fire strongly symbolizes the warrior kind of spirit and attitude he carries despite being a base hollow. Warriors of Gundulf's caliber have come and gone but today is the new day for tears and scars as he trends upon the desert. Some of the sands would get scorched by the heat of the flames and get so fragile underneath the life crushing steps Gundulf takes. His steps are not of mercy but the flames respond in a way like instinct reaching out in the atmosphere trying to find another hollow like Gundulf.

His fangs are very sharp to the touch fitting in with the flames, so sharp similar to a dragon. The teeth have seem to be sharpened by the fierceness of the flames as the acid of the gums seem to mix in with it. Due to this, the acidic mixes in with the flames within the mouth which acts almost as if they are brothers. This in a way enhances Gundulf much further making him even more deadly then previous times of where he developed his techniques. However one of them he can't use currently due to it feels blank in his mind as if his body doesn't have enough power or knowledge to perform it. To make up for it, he thinks about all the hollows he hopes to devour including the one he is sensing. Though at this power he is training in a far away distance but he is doing so very quickly. He has always been a quick learner specially when his spiritual pressure is filled with urges for battle.

The urge for battle is the one thing any hollow should have and nothing to hold them back either. For example, Romance doesn't belong in a pure warrior's heart who is from Hueco Mundo itself. Its only a sign of weakness and that sign of weakness can be like poison to ones's strength. Such poison that taints every human being but despite that poison, Hollows like Gundulf wants to devour those humans and experience the soul going down into his gut. The gut would have such acidic properties that the soul wouldn't be able to hold itself together by the spiritual pressure devouring it mercilessly. There is no mercy in a being of a hollow or in Hueco Mundo, its the land that just wants to devour the weak and raise up the strong. His desire is to become the strongest hollow alive and reach a level where he doesn't submit to the higher powers that don't fit the beastly instinct. Retaining his beast like instincts just shows no romance can enter his heart, no matter how hard it tries, no love will reach his heart. Only battle....forever battle will rage in his mind and fulfilling that battle and devouring, should continue on for all eternity.

Battle is the core of Gundulf's being and due to it being the core of his being, all he can ever think about is eating hollows, his own kind despite his pride. The Acidic properties he wishes to adopt as it can become part of his strength, such strength that will symbolize the brutal methods. Why would people want acid poured or grabbed onto them? Would they feel helpless as they burn under Gundulf's touch? Will they scream in pain and weakness which Gundulf despises? Weakness under acid would only further prove to Gundulf they can't handle his power at normal levels like he is right now. He has so much to prove to every hollow around him, and by training very hard to learn every possible power he can, his soul thirst will be easier to drench down in his throat and body.

Once the acid retreated back into his body, it coursed through his blood like a long river that travel through Karakura Town. Though the claws seem to itch, spirit energy collects around the claws as when he swipes, sends a small spirit energy blast. This blast hits a stone like a anchor hits a ocean bed, bashful and brutal. The eyes of Gundulf widen and slit back down thinking very cleverly how this attack known as Bala can be used. The bala would cause the muscles and the claws of him to pulse with such resonating power that its almost as if the air is shaped by the claws. The spirit energy that is produced by the bala can be sure left in the air like dust that only circulates. This circulation may attract other hollows to his position due to his power and how it may be able to stain the air one day.

Why do hollows learn such techniques like Bala? Bala is the type of technique meant for lower ranked Hollows that even haven't reached Menos Grande. Though with it, its has a succession blunt attack where it can be used to suppress certain enemies that Gundulf may not find very worthy to fight up close at the start of the battle. Though with the high spiritual power that Gundulf has, the bala has a bit more kick then normal. Quickly to this, the spirit energy of the bala is slowly becoming part of Gundulf himself. Similar to the Acidic Touch, its sharpening his spiritual pressure much further in preparation for hollow evolution. The claws would tingle at each feel of the Bala being charged as it was like a geyser as each place it hit, the sand would only blow up due to the blunt impact. Each Geyser seemingly gets him very excited as he would growl with such happiness. Clearly seeing his power growing makes him very happy and growing stronger means he may meet a very strong opponent.

The one he sensed earlier, is stronger then he is but the idea of tasting his fellow kin only made his mouth water. Though no liquid like water or spit even exist in his mouth, its all flame, the flame that desires to turn flesh into charred remains as he would eat the flesh. Its like eating burnt bacon but it taste so good like he has done to many hollows. Though with the feel of this spiritual pressure, the flesh charred will be so much more potent. Will Gundulf grow into a new power including this bala by devouring another hollow that is stronger then him? Will he reach the next level of power and advance further ahead, will he meet much stronger opponents then the one he feels right now? For right now, his wolf eyes keep attached to the spiritual pressure as he continues thinking about the savage power of Bala. The very power that can destroy all resistance against him and bring out the true warrior. The very true warrior that would push him to the upmost limits like a cup that is overflowing with water and won't stop flowing. Though this overflowing would also mean he is enjoying the battle to the highest pleasure and if he died, he would be in absolute bliss.

The kind of bliss that only warriors who are indulges in combat will feel. Not just anyone can feel this, specially the ones who are concerned about dying in combat and would think about retreating from his claws. His claws have been carved and sharpen to render the flesh of the strong, not the weak. The weak have no or little interest to him as those ones would only die in a very quick matter yet again underestimating someone's instinct to fight is non negotiable. There is no excuse for that as to not give a weak hollow the chance to fight someone strong like him is almost as if he denies every warrior to fight him. He isn't above any hollow, he just looks for a very strong opponent or a opponent very eager to fight him regardless of his power.

Another way that hollows tend to drink on the power of others is a single word: Gonzui. Its a healing type of technique but it requires any living soul that is near by in a certain radius to feed into his power, all spirit energy, and life force as well. Though this technique would be like a vaccum that chokes around any living being's throat almost like its trying to pop their head off like a balloon. Such a balloon would pop and die underneath the extreme pressure that Gonzui produces. Souls, any kind sound very tasty to him though he is rather ravenous for hollows. Devouring a hollow makes him feel so good specially when they have fed recently on another soul, that soul becomes part of him and makes him more powerful then last. The rips...the tears...the limbs being torn...such ecstasy at the thought of the meal and how little is left of them. Though every piece of hollow should be eaten like a parent commanded him to finish all that is on his plate. Hollows have eaten many for years, and such years can cost on the mentality of hollows even today. Unique hollows may be born as well like Gundulf, a wolf hollow who has trended in Hueco Mundo for quite a long time. Why should he stop devouring young and old souls? Why should he even consider the feeling of a plus soul or even a hollow when he has dominated them? Its kill or be killed as the rule in Hueco Mundo goes. Do all hollows understand that rule or do some think by grouping up with others that you feel safer in the sands? Do they realize how much their blood can splatter and mix in with the sands? Don't they know the sands thirst for their blood to be spilled like they are bathing in the blood of the weak and strong? To the lands of Hueco Mundo, it doesn't matter who is dying, they are all the same, like a lotion to the land itself. Though some souls may not provide enough refreshments like a stronger soul would but hey, the land itself gouges its own morals in order to bath in such pain.

Why do hollows fight, tear, and rip away into the personalities of potential such as hollows or humans? Why do humans and hollows have to suffer for one individual like Gundulf? Its very simple, their pain and soul will strengthen his muscles, his body, his spiritual pressure like eating at a buffet. Gonzui can bring the buffet right away to Gundulf no problem, as such buffets are enjoyed when the soul is sucked in like a milkshake through a straw. Though anyone that survives a Gonzui, well that can be a power detector as well as it would tell him that the person who survived has higher concentration of power like a can that has a lot of pressure and goodies, he must break it. Like a can, they will be opened up like a lid, drunk up like a bottle of alcohol or even wine. He would even grin his toothy smile as he thinks about getting so drunk on someone's soul, he wouldn't know what to do with himself if he can't get the chance to devour them again. Once a hollow gets a taste for a very yummy, fat, and cherry tasting like soul, they seem to almost lose their minds on it to such a extreme level.

Such extreme levels can only be reached by fattening their bellies with souls that have very special powers or even have something about their personality. Its not about power that can make a soul interesting, its their personality as well, what they would do underneath the pressure about him being on their heels. Chasing prey is one other thing he can enjoy but only for awhile, a hollow can only take so much of a rabbit fleeing from the recipe of battle. Its dangerous considering about becoming fat on souls but it shouldn't matter. Its like candy from the candy store, every piece of candy is unique in its own taste and not tasting them would be a absolute shame to nothing at all. Every candy would have a unique shape to it, feel, and what makes it so delicious beyond all things.

Though candy don't talk and have business of being eaten by yours truly, Gundulf The Excel-er. Though the World Of The Living has been quiet as of late, he has no idea that there is some powerful beings there as well that may allow him to have a "nibble". Though "nibble" may not sound very good to the living person and they would prefer to put up a struggle. Why should they put up a struggle to someone such as Gundulf? Well if anything, the more struggle is presented, the more tasty they are to him. Warriors like him like it when a prey struggles and dances around trying to avoid the flaming hell that is growing in his being. Being charred is not exactly a good way to go and being treated like you are bacon, ripped in half and eaten. Cruel way to go if you don't like the idea being ripped into without permission. So ripped like you are paper but spill the most beautiful red which is obvious they have life force, such sweet life force that needs "diving into".

Khan
H O L L O W

As Khan licked his finger's dry he heard something strange. The hollow turned to see one of the bodies sliding off ever so slowly. Khan had been so wrapped up in his feast that he had forgotten to make sure they all were dead first. This was the former sword wielding arrancar who had his arm severed at the shoulder. Khan thought he had killed him with that blow alone but it seems as though this arrancar did have some power of healing..albeit a rather slow process. Khan watched the body move, almost like a cat with a mouse. He followed it just close enough for the body to feel his presence but stood back far enough to give the poor creature hope for escape. Khan couldn't tell why he didn't want to eat this creature right this second like he did his two friends. Maybe it was because he was full? That was unlikely..Khan's appetite was a raging storm that would take much more than two weak arrancar to quell. Maybe he really did find these little guys to be more interesting than just regular prey. He strolled behind the arrancar as he watched the arrancar heal more and more. while the arrancar was far from healing to the point where he could be a threat once again it was not wise to let him keep going, but Khan continued. Eventually the arrancar crawled his way to the mouth of the cave, the moon's gaze once again watched over the malevolent cloak of the hollow Khan. Said cloak layed flat almost like it was wet..but it was in fact dripping with the blood of the previous arrancar.

The arrancar, now under the moon's light and able to gather more spiritual power, raised his shaky hand above his head and, from where his finger touched, the sky began to open. Khan's hand quickly shot out from his cloak, latching onto the limp leg of the arrancar with such force that the bone snapped beneath his grip. The arrancar cried out before being flung in the opposite direction of the hole in the sky. The arrancar rolled to the ground and before it could lift its hand to open another hole Khan was already standing on top of it with his palm hovering just inches away from the hollows partial mask. While destroying his mask might not kill him, crushing his entire head would do the trick and they both knew that. "Tell me how" Khan said to the arrancar who just shivered for a moment as if he didn't understand Khan. "Tell me how!" Khan said more aggressively while also using his free hand to motion in the air like the arrancar did when he opened the hole in the sky. You mean the garganta!? garganta!" the arrancar shouted, he was injured and confused. His friends were dead and he was being questioned by a barely literate murderer, he had a lot on his plate, even Khan knew that. So Khan patted the arrancar's head in order to soothe it..and it actually worked a little. Maybe the randomness of the act is what lowered the arrancar's guard..whatever it was it filled him with the false hope that he was getting out of here alive. The arrancar then proceeded to teach Khan the basics of garganta, even going as far as to assisting Khan in making his own portal.

After some time of training Khan was appreciative of the experience, he actually felt that the whole thing had actually helped him regain some form of humanity, before now every skill he learned was figured out purely off instinct. Today was different, today he actually learned something and demonstrated what he learned on cue..that required at least some kind of brain function beyond that of a savage beast. Now he had the ability to travel to other places and look for more exotic dishes. He wasn't quite ready to use this skill yet but just to have it on file would be a confidence booster if nothing else. The food supply was starting to get a bit stale around here, but traveling to the human world alone would be suicide in his current state. Khan eventually let the arrancar go without devouring it, allowing it to slip away in a garganta of it's own. He had never done anything like that before..but just didn't feel the need to kill him just yet.

As the arrancar's portal in the sky closed Khan continued to stare at the spot in the sky. He had no idea what he was doing here or who he even was. This was the first time in Khan's 88 years of being a hollow that he ever looked up and wondered. The first time he ever really thought at all besides food. Maybe he had just finally reached that level of maturity that allowed a hollow to think for itself..or maybe he just crossed a personal hurdle of his own. Whatever it was it happened and Khan's mind was a bit clearer now.

Dimmwing The pale moonlight of this cold and empty world was the only source of light in this place. It was the lone source of some semblance of comfort and at the same time, a constant reminder for those who dwelled here. What was that reminder? It was that despite staring the light in the face, they would never be graced with its warmth as it had none to give. That they would forever be alone in this desolate world, cursed to wander the endless landscape of sand. However, this nihilistic point of view escaped the minds of the countless beings that roamed it, mindless savages who could do little to satiate their bottomless hunger...and the one called Dimmwing was no exception. This Hollow had wandered the sand dunes of Hueco Mundo for centuries, yet didn’t seem to care for much of anything except keeping his belly fully and getting his rest. And as he slowly began to stir from his sleep, it was about time to fulfil one of those desires. Among the sand dunes one would begin to tremble and shift as it expanded in size. It rose into the air until the pearly white point of a horn would penetrate the grainy terrain. A snout would follow it, blowing whatever sand covered it away and the head of Dimmwing would once more greet the light of the darkness. As his eyes creaked open to stare up at the sky, he wondered how long he’d been asleep this time. Raising his head with his crane like neck, the thought would shift to where he could find a meal. The Hollow’s vision was still blurry and obscured by the sand, prompting him to violently shake his head until it was clear. With his maw agape, the draconic being let out a yawn that was no different from a roar; a roar that would send a chill down the backs of even the hardiest of men. Next, his wings would peek through the surface, flapping the dust off of them and scattering the sand in the area. Waves of wind would roll down the dunes from the might of the powerful appendages. He finally rose to his feet, lifting those dark scaly claws and digging them deep into the top of the sand- the Hollow had finally returned to the void of Hueco Mundo...and he was starved. As if he was testing the winds, his wings reached for the dark sky as they flapped once more.

The familiar feeling of air beneath him would slowly lift him up, the dragon scanning the area for any who lingered after his awakening. Lo and behold, a small quadrupedal Hollow with hooves and a sleek coat of fur could be seen roaming alone on the horizon. Dimmwing hovered in the air, rising higher as he picked up his pace, glowing eyes leering at his target. The poor creature was marked for death and was clueless of its impending demise. Gliding through the sky, his black scales camouflaging with the eternal night, he made his approach quickly and silently. By the time the smaller Hollow noticed his presence, when his large frame blot out the dim light of, it was far too late. His jaws wide open, he swooped down and gently scooped the creature into his mouth; picking it up and carrying it off into the distance. The creature frantically squirmed and cried out with horrified squeals. But those cries were silenced the moment the dragon bit down on it; bones snapping like twigs and warm crimson liquid gushing from his mouth. Slowly chewing the now lifeless creature in his mouth, the drips of blood from his mouth leaving an ominous trail in the white sand as he flew, Dimmwing remained vigilant. Even before he’d swallowed his first meal whole, he was already looking for the next to fill his empty belly. No, this not enough to sate the void in his gut, far from it. But fortunately...he would see another two unsuspecting Hollow wandering aimlessly; one tall and lanky on two legs and the other short and plump looking. Allowing the crunchy and chewy carcass to slide down his gullet, he quickly flew over to catch his prey just as before. Though Dimmwing would soon come to find these two were more alert than they let on. When he opened his mouth to devour the tall one, it suddenly broke away, dodging to the side to evade his grasp. However, its partner was not as nimble or observant, as it failed to escape his open claw. The sharp nails dug into supple flesh as the chubby Hollow returned to the air with the drake where he hovered and observed his prey for a moment. It was flailing, trying to pry his claw open in vain as he would only squeeze hard. Then, the wriggling and terrified Hollow would find half of itself in the mouth of the dragon just before his razor sharp fang sunk in and severed it; a surplus of blood squirting about from the corpse. Grinding the flesh in his teeth, he found this one to be a lot more chewy than the last, not as crunchy and easier to swallow thanks to the lack of fur. This Hollow was definitely one that was not starving as much as the rest of them.

As he crammed the rest of the poor Hollow into his mouth, an abrupt feeling of pain in his back, accompanied with the sound of an explosion, would cause him to wince and shudder. Quickly locating the source, he’d find the lanky Hollow was attacking him from the ground and a mysterious red glow surrounding its fist. What just happened? He would see for himself this time, the light on its fist shining brighter and brighter until it flew off and again struck him, this time in the chest. What was it doing? How was it doing that?! It would not get another shot on him as Dimmwing dodged the next blast and carefully observed. After evading the next three scarlet energy balls, his irritation began to grow. And he could feel that irritation growing inside, more and more. He felt it in his furled claws as well...and it came to be that same glow the Hollow beneath him had. Swinging an empty punch, he would fire that same ball of energy at the target of his ire. The blast erupted the sand before it, making it fall down on its backside. Dimmwing descended, crashing to the surface on all fours, standing over the feeble Hollow. Breathing hard through his nostrils, his burning eyes would leer at the being who realized its fate was sealed. The dragon quickly snapped it up, gnashing it in its fangs, the audible crunch and crack of skinny Hollow’s body filling the air. After he downed his third meal, his tongue traced the edges of his mouth to sop up what blood slipped between his teeth. That one was crunchier than the others, but it wasn’t a bad thing at all. Stretching his wings again, Dimmwing picked himself up again and returned to his domain in the sky. Now...it was back to the hunt.

Nobu
H O L L O W

Boom, Boom, BOOM..that was all Nobu heard form his cave as he tried to rest. "Mmm, this sounds interesting!" Nobu said to himself as he quickly hopped to his stubby legs and quickly made way to the entrance to his cave. Nobu peeked his head out of his cave to see Hollows doing battle, but one caught his eye especially due to the fact it was flying through the sky like a bird but was absolutely massive. Nobu only stood at 5'6" so there was no question that this beast was much larger than he, even if he couldn't tell the exact size. Nobu continued to hide away and watch the battle unfold until a clear winner was decided. After all, it would be a shame for him to come out just as someone unleashed their finishing move and killed him in the crossfire. Nobu watched as the large Dragon pinned it's final enemy down and gave it a moment to realize just how bad of a position it was in. "Now for the best part~" Nobu whispered with a strong hint of delight in his voice. His claws dug into the side of the cave and his eyes widened, the red in his pupils deepening to a more bloody hue. He watched without batting an eye as the Dragon devoured his foe in a display of dominance.

As the large beastly Dimmwing would launch itself back into the skies Nobu came running out of his cave hoping to get the monster's attention before it was too late. "Wait! Wait!" the hollow cried out as he ran after the beast waving his arm, his stubby legs seeming to small and slow to give him enough speed to catch up to the beast without it returning to the surface. Hopefully its previous meals would hold off it's hunger for a little, or else Nobu was as good as Dragon feed.

Dimmwing Taken to the air, the dragon was getting re-accustomed to the feeling of flight. He was set out and search for other prey when he heard a voice over the air. Looking down from where he departed, he'd spot another figure he'd seemingly over looked prior. It was either incredibly brave or a naive fool to draw attention to itself like that. Amused, the dragon turned and flew toward the Hollow that flagged him down. Dimmwing landed with arms forward, kicking up sand as he came to a sliding halt before the horned being. He stood over the Hollow with a piercing gaze, sizing the Hollow up. His willingness to get so close would show that he was not afraid of the smaller Hollow, but that was not to say he was foolish enough to drop his guard. With a snort through his nostrils, he'd attempt to speak and respond. "...What...is it?" he asked with such a questionable tone. It was true it'd been quite some time since he'd spoken and because of this, his voice was rather raspy and untrained. There usually was no one to talk to, nor did he feel it useful to talk to his food. As for this one...he'd wait to see if it'd be the first. It must have had a good reason to garner his attention, for it’s sake, hopefully it was a pretty good one.

Nobu
H O L L O W

If Nobu had a heart it would've dropped when he actually saw the large monster change its course. He had tried to get the attention of much larger hollow before but those all turned out bad. Now to make matters worse, he did not have a get away plan this time. they were out in the open and this being could fly, even if Nobu did manage to create some distance, it would be nothing for this monster to catch up. But this time Nobu wouldn't rely on his feet but on his hollow wit to get him through. "You seem like a fellow that requires a lot of souls!" Nobu started his pitch with the charisma of a sleazy car dealer. His spread his arms wide and high in an attempt to make himself seem bigger as he continued his spiel. " How would you like to go some place not too far away, where there is an ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet of souls?" Nobu shouted the "All you can eat" in order to emphasize that even this large dragon can eat to it's hearts content. Nobu was only suggesting a trip to earth, something that hollows eventually figure out how to do on their own. Nobu was going to try to sell this knowledge to this large hollow in exchange for having a body guard while he feasted on souls on earth. The big guy would even be a good decoy if the Shinigami show up. Nobu thought, had his face not been covered by a mask he might have trouble hiding his sinister smile. Nobu was small and did not like to fight as much as he liked to eat souls. So he had to find ways to get a meal in that didn't rely on brute strength..that might rely on the brute strength of others instead.

Dimmwing The Hollow would proceed to explain himself, no stranger to speaking unlike himself. It meant he spent more time running his mouth than eating his fill. Perhaps that was why he was so scrawny looking. Althought, he brought up an observant point, though he wasn't aware of any here who were different in their need for souls. The hunger was something they all suffered from and this one before him should not have been any different. Dimmwing tilted his head as he stared at the oddly charismatic being who would go on to advertise whatever he was trying to sell. Though as he continued his spiel, his attempt to entice the dragon by shouting the main point would only make him more wary. All you can eat souls?! Who was he trying to trick, as if such a place existed? The notion annoyed him as he would raise his long black tail, the moonlight highlighting the sharp points on the end. Slamming the heavy limb down on the ground, he'd disturb the sand by making it fly up in the air. With a low growl, he'd lean in closer to this little trickster to make himself heard and heard well. "You take me...a fool?" he'd ask, prepared to silence the fiend where he stood. "You lie. No place exists here!" Dimmwing huffed, quite adamant on that fact. He was no stranger to this land, having wandered it longer than he can remember. And in all that time, he always found the source of food to be sporadic as no Hollow would be foolish enough to herd in large masses. To try and deceive him...perhaps he should just kill the little imp; however, he would give him one last chance to explain himself. After all...he was still hungry…

The white sands of Hueco Mundo had always been so unsightly to the wyvern-like Hollow, its crimson and black wings flapping and gliding through the ever night sky. Its green orbs occasionally had focused its sight downward to keep aware of any prey that may appear. Every grain of white sand had filled its sight as even the smallest of hollow would do, even if it was a miniscule thing as a rodent based Hollow, this wyvern one would swoop down to catch it. This hunting Hollow was Lanzda Cielesí, he recalled not where this name came from, whether he chose it for himself or not he had forgotten. There were other vague memories that rarely shifted from his subconscious, ever blurry the recollections showed only vague scenes and even vaguer voices, yet he could understand the latter somewhat. He was not sure if they were his memories or simply a vision of another time, but part of his being said they were his. A majority of these visions of the past were related to spears, mirrors, and a certain man, but among them were memories of another man’s death, then only a vision of a night sky he could not remember. He had these flashes for over a hundred years now, after consuming his own kind, as if it was a reward, or perhaps it was punishment for divulging in his primal gluttony. The wyvern didn’t care which it was truthfully, he couldn’t care less what these “memories” meant nor if they belonged to him in the first place, what mattered was satiating his hunger, and for that desire he would hunt endlessly. Prey would finally enter his sights, a bull-like Hollow that had been charging for quite some time, it’s large frame and hooves. kicking up the sand wildly. Though it was only slightly larger than Lanzda, the wyvern would still devour it, his masked maw practically salivating at the prospect of a hefty meal. Lanzda would begin to fly behind the bovine, gliding along the wind as to fly silently, moving his talons about as to ready them for the inevitable attack. Lanzda was no stranger to larger, heavier, prey, as he ate just about whatever he could in this empty world. He observed this bull for a bit longer, watching it from a silent distance as to ascertain how it fought and hunted. The bull charged forth into another Hollow, this one a ox, but because of his wild charge, its prey was able to counter attack. Their horns clashed like swords, locking against each other, both bovines pushing against the other in order to overpower their adversary. Lanzda would begin to circle over them, keeping his eye locked onto the two bovines as they would back up and then clash against one another over and over. The sounds of their horns and masks crashing against one another was enough for Lanzda to hear them even from the height he flew. Their blood would begin to spray from their heads, their masks cracking from the consistent impacts with one another. Lanzda could see their legs begin to buckle, no doubt the head attacks starting to affect the two of them, weakening their constitution and lowering their ability to defend themselves.

Eventually, their bodies would crumble over, their bodies heaving and breathing heavily from exhaustion, blood running down their bone-like faces. This was his time to strike, his green orbs focusing first on his original prey. With a quick flap of his scaly wings, the hollow flew downward, readying his talons, swooping onto the scene as the sharp flaws would sink into the bull’s hide. The Wyvern would then lift it up high into the air, as high as it could manage with its strength. Its body was heavy, the weight difference was much more than the Wyvern’s, but his strength allowed him to carry the larger Hollow quite far up. With a bit of repositioning, Lanzda would drop the bull hollow from high up, watching as it roared out, its mass working against it thanks to gravity. At an accelerated rate, the bull hollow's large frame would smash against the ox’s with a loud thud, the impact causing blood and organs to splatter from the two of them violently. They laid there, very much at death’s door, breathing their last breaths as they watched their killer fly down and land before them. His green orbs would look at them, tauntingly, as if to rub in that neither of them had killed the other with their own strength, but rather was killed by a third party. Without another second to waste, the Wyvern would dig his arm talons into the bull and would begin to feast, his maw would bite into the bovine’s hide, tearing and gouging out flesh with its fangs. Each bite was large, Lanzda taking large chunks out from the Hollow’s corpse before thoroughly chewing and then swallowing, then repeating the process. No matter how much flesh he devoured, he still felt empty, this had brought much frustration to the hollow, yet at the same time he felt satisfaction from being able to devour prey. He would continue to eat away at the Hollow’s flesh, when that was gone, Lanzda would devour the mask just the same. The bull was naught but blood that stained the now dead ox Hollow, Lanzda’s second meal. With a lick at his beak, Lanzda moved on, now devouring the ox, more violently than he did the bull. Though their flesh did not fill his stomach, he felt more than a desire of gluttony be tended to, even if there was no way it would be satiated just from this. He had been eating his own kind for more than two hundred years, he was practically a youngling compared to so many other Hollows that roamed this realm of cannibalism. He had seen many different kinds, and devoured most of what he had seen. What he hadn’t eaten his instincts told him to not attempt to attack, for the disparity in power was far too great for him to handle alone. Regrettably, he would avoid those Hollow, but certainly promised himself to one day hunt them down to devour them as a strong being. Even if there was no guarantee they hadn’t grown stronger since then, Lanzda still desired the stronger prey. Part of him told him that if he didn’t even try to hunt them, he would forever be branded as nothing but a coward, that he might as well offer himself to those very Hollows. It was that reason that he would not avoid them forever, he wouldn’t settle for weaker Hollows such as these two, he would continue to desire to eat stronger Hollow for as long as he could, for that is what a warrior would do.

He eventually would finish the ox Hollow, leaving nothing left but the blood of its former corpse. His hunger had yet to be satiated, not that it ever would, given his current state of being. Before he could resume his hunt, something would be blasted at him. Quickly he would take to the sky, nearly avoid the projectile, allowing him to see what had nearly blasted against him. It appeared to be composed of energy, a mass that flew out into the distance before crashing into a sand dune behind Lanzda. The Wyvern looked to the transgressor, eyes narrowing onto their figure; what he saw appeared to be a Gorilla-like Hollow, its fists pounding against its pectorals in a display of dominance. Lanzda wouldn’t falter, though he had seen such attacks before at a distance, he wouldn’t back away from potential prey. The ape would fire more of the energy attacks, Lanzda now being able to visualize how they were readied and then launched. It appeared that the attack started with a fist, the energy forming there, before being launched as the gorilla threw its fist. Once again Lanzda would dodge it, using his superior agility and flying ability to their fullest advantage. The ape would continue to throw one blast after another, and just the same Lanzda would deftly avoid them, flying in all directions that his wings would allow him to. As he kept dodging, the Wyvern would count the seconds in between each blast, seeing how long it took for the ape to fire them off one at a time. He eventually would find the timing, how many seconds it took for the energy to be gathered, formed, and then launched as the punch was thrown. With the timing down, Lanzda taking into account the primeape’s overall movement speed, the Wyvern would fly in while continuing to dodge the blasts, then with a swoop, his talons dug into the gorilla’s mask, and tore the head off, killing the Hollow instantly. With its headless body falling to the ground, Lanzda would toss its head into the air before catching it with his mouth, eating its mask and cranium first before moving back to its body to feast. Once more Lanzda would do his best to fill the emptiness within him that had been there since his birth into this world. But of course, no matter how much he feasted, he would not be satiated. Though this was still frustrating, all it did was drive the Wyvern to take on stronger and larger Hollow. Eventually the Gorilla was devoured completely, another blood stain left on the white sands of this desert; after three prey devoured, the Wyvern would decide to move on from this area and go onto the next. He would rise into the air, looking down as to catch any other potential prey moving about he could swoop down to catch. The Wyvern eventually would come across yet another Hollow, an injured stag type that was clearly attempting to escape from a leopard. Like before with the bovines, Lanzda was prepared to attack the two of them upon their bodies were weakened. But something peculiar happened, something the Hollow had only caught a glimpse of. The stag Hollow had created a gate before it which it would dash into at full speed, its life clearly depending on it. As its hoof leapt through and into the black gate, it would shut and disappear, the Leopard losing its prey had growled, the blood, no doubt from the stag, seeping from its fangs. Not wanting it to get away, especially while it was distracted, Lanzda swooped down once more, attacking the feline straight on, talons slashing at its back. It yelped, the surprise attack having been very successful, but it wouldn’t die without a fight, quickly it would leap up, clawing at Lanzda’s leg. Quickly performing a U-Turn, Lanzda would ready his talons before once more cutting at the feline, this time splitting its head in two with his talons. After devouring its corpse, Lanzda once again would take flight and look out for even more prey.

He would find something else however,a much larger Hollow than himself, appearing to be related in terms of animal typing, and a much smaller one. The Wyvern considered grabbing the smaller Hollow from high up and dropping it to its doom much like the others, but there was a hesitation, that perhaps it was the prey to the larger Hollow. For whatever reason, Lanzda’s instincts told him to respect the dragon, that perhaps there was an unknown longing the Wyvern had subconsciously carried over since his previous life. He wasn’t sure what this feeling was, all he knew was that he should observe for now, that he should instead witness. He would indeed follow what his instincts told him, staying above the larger drake to ascertain what sort of Hollow was he. Lanzda could see their lips moving, they were conversing no doubt, so the Wyvern flew lower, hoping to hear what was being discussed. Lanzda had wondered if the larger drake could fly with its wings, or if they were simply there for intimidation. That same part of Lanzda told him it would be worthwhile for them to meet, but for now he would stay at a distance.
