That wasn't what she had been expecting. Her face faltered and she didn't move. For a time she was still and seemed to be drifting between anger, hostility and deflecting. "He said he couldn't read me." She said after a time her voice was cold and distant, she could feel herself back in that place again. Solas she knew said he viewed blood magic as just that magic, a view they both shared.
"You said it yourself magic is magic. So long as it's not a crutch or a hobby." She took his own words from that day so long ago and put them on the table again. "All Dalish know human intolerance we suffer it all day every day. Some of us more than others. Than there are those of us who decide .. to fight back for a change."

"Thank you. It's not something I'm proud of nor with to revisit if I can avoid it." she fallowed him feeling the suddenly cold breeze of the mautines. 'That's not right..' She thaught but said nothing on it as she fallowed beside him. "What aobut you? No tales of last ditch efforts to surivive?" She asked but when he sad nothing she pressed him no further. "For some reason that reminded me a story my mother told me once. A story aobut art of Fen'Heral no one seems to remember. He was a trickster but also he crave vengeance for the wrongs done to the Elves. My mother told me that if pushed don't fear vengeance for it will save you when Hope has left you."
'Why did I remember that story?' A memory of her mother's face, young and happy as she was curled up next to her int heir areval at ngiht. Her father was hunting and had returned later to find them both sleeping. 'Why this memory fo all them?' She wandered holding the door of protection she had kept when it came to her childhood.

'We're not talking about the Breach are we?' She wanted to ask but knew the answer. This was .. a heavy moment and though she was greatly inexperienced she could tell this . this between them right now was something. She didn't know what that something was but it was .. something. 'What am I doing? What am I supposed to do?' the person she normally asked such things was looking at her in a way she'd never been looked at before and she was uncertain but whatgood would it do to turn away?
"Sometimes change is good. Sometimes we need it even if we don't know it." She felt oddly pinned though there was nothing holding her in place sh felt it. She liked it but it was new ansd somewhat .... disarming to be honest. "We crave truth and honest but .. soldeomly like how it tastes."

Ylva was at a loss for words. She had been given praises sense this whole mess had started but from Solas it actually felt genuine. True hoenst praise form someone who knew what the misery of this world was in it's tuest form. Her face was pink and her throat was tight and her mind was ... elsewere at the moment. Usually she could think of something to deflect or even push the other person away if she felt unconfrtonable, many in her clan said her ersonalty was so hard to navigate she often times to hard to be bothered with.
Solas navigated her self constructed throns seamlessly like they were evne there.
"Sweettalker." Was the only thing that her mind came up with and her mouth agreed with. He was a sweettalker even if he did not know it.

She hadn't been sure of what her actions were going to be She sure hadn't expected him to grab her suddenly and do .. that. It wans't bad by any means but it left her somewhat .. relying. her mind was dazed and his tongue had done nothing to stabilize it ether. She had never been kssed before and tha the certainly been an inpressive first time escpially given how much he put into it.
when he pulled away she was mor dazed than before, well her mind was less htan functioning. "What?" Was al her mind wa ble to comphrehend.
The next thing she realized was she was in her her bed in her room at SKyhold. She sat up startled and wondering still feeling everything. It took a moment for her mind to register wha thad happened.

"Is that why you had Vivien take e back to the Seamstress again" She asked wearing her new attire for the Ball. As vivien put it was elegent yet made a message. Power and Elegance as she had put it. Ylva found she really liked the boots, well she had devleped a likeing for boots as the weeks had gone by. She felt like she was almost wearing a dress but Vivien had insisted that her body was completed more by a half dress rather than a full one. The colors of the Inquisition, crimson red and gold, had to be the main focus of the outfit.
"The bowing was hard enough, more on my pride." She muttered to herself sense eshe knew the people of the court wold take extra pleasure seeing the Elvan Inquisitor bowing, in their mind as all elves should. "Vivien taught me to dance appririatly Dorien got me proper banter, more or less. Why do I feel like a sacrificial lamb?" She asked while Joshpine was adjuting the fornt of her outfit, the women seemed ot do it to reassure herself.
She was sacred, baldy. She felt like she wanted to vomit.

"So tiny yoru going to the Winter Palace huh?" Verric asked as he was sitting with Bull and some of his men. The ones going knew who they were already and Verric though origoanlly aske dot go requested not to.

"I'm looking forward more to you dressing up." Verric didn' evne hide the laugh or the smirk.

"So basically be plite, but not nice nor mena. Listen but don't ask directly and watch how much of a manipulating lier everyone else is and make sure you better. Sounds good. Almost like Fen'Herla himself made this game of your up himself." Ylva could imagen the Dread Wolf fnding such an event amusing, though she silently preyed his gaze was on her enimies tonight and not her.
'Mythal watch my steps and make sure I do not linger int he Wolfs gave but at his back. May his wrathful eyes fall on those that are mine own enimies.' she silently prayed. it seemed ridiculous but she was nervous.

"Hey worse comes to worse take the shirt off and see how many ladies we get on our side." Verric laughed before taking a large swig of ale. "Besides shouldn't you be getting ready I understand Johspine wants to leave soon."

he trip to the Winter Palace had been nauseating fo rYlva. The whole trip in the carrage she was pale and wanted ot throw up, she nearly grabbed Sola's hat once and did just that. Vvien patted her hand diently and reassured her saying the Inquisitor Must Not be seen to have thrown up bofre meeting the Empress.
"We are guests of The Grand Duke after all, for all that he he is still cousin to the empress. Show him corusesty dalring I know you have the talent of lying." Viviens eyes had a glint that Ylva reconzied.
Gasbad had been chamring apon their arrival evne taking ylva's hand like a lady of the court and skissing it She figeted evr so slightly sense the action was so alien to her. She smiled behind a practed mask, holding her urge to pull back and hiss.
The gardens were lovley, she kept telling herself while trying ot ignore being studied like a pet or savage as she over head many call her.
'I can do this... I closed the Breach this .. this should be easy ....' She kept repeating hoping to make it true.
