When they got to the doctor's house he got out and took her hand, leading her to the door. The man soon answered the door, welcoming them in. "I'll leave you to talk to him. I'm going to make a few calls." Sam kissed her and then walked into the next room, sitting down and calling up a friend that was in real estate. The guy gave him plenty of address that they might like, and they decided to check a few out today.

With any luck, they would find a house they loved today. Then they'd just need to do some paper work. It wasn't like he'd need to wait too long to get a yes or no. He had enough money to pay for any home in cash. That was one perk of his mother's company. She had created something very successful, and now he was helping run it. Soon it would be all up to him. Maybe Allie would want to help.

Sam looked up when Allie spoke, smiling gently. He stood and put his arm around her, nodding. "Fun. Okay. Would do you want to do? We have a little before my friend can meet us to show us some places." He walked with her and noticed her walking differently. "Are you sure you don't want to go home?" He was worried about her. What had the doctor done?

"Come here." Sam easily picked her up, carrying her out of the house and to the car. He put her down when they got there, smiling gently. "I didn't realize what ever you were going to decide on would hurt." Maybe he should've refused her last night. That way she wouldn't need to worry about pregnancy. He'd need to keep refusing her though...How long would that last?

"Okay. I hope it goes away quickly." Sam closed her door and then got into his seat, looking over at her. "As many as you want. I don't want to push you." He started the car and headed to an ice cream shop, figuring they could get a little treat before they went to look at the first house. This place was one of his favorites, and he hoped she enjoyed it.

When they got there he got out and went to her side, opening her door and taking her hand. "I've been going to this place for years. They have all sorts of great flavors. They make all of their flavors with either real ice cream of frozen yogurt." Sam led her inside, looking at the flavors. "If nothing sounds good we can go somewhere else. Or just not get anything."

Sam looked at her shocked. "You did?" He smiled and shook his head, thinking about it. "Wait a minute...I had a girl punch me once because of you.She saw me checking you out didn't like it." He laughed lightly and pulled her closer. "Now I can check you out without getting hurt...Right?" He wouldn't blame her for hitting him occasionally.

It wasn't that he looked at her and only thought of her as a piece of meat. He truly thought she was beautiful. There were times, even when he was fighting this, that he found himself staring at her. Allie was like some sort of mythical creature to him. Sam put his hand on the side of her face, gently turning her head toward him. "I'm glad I never asked you out then. You would have hated me."

Sam said hello to the girls working there, ordering his ice cream after Allie had. When they were seated he took his phone out and handed it to her. "These are some of the listings he gave me. They each have a few pictures. I figured you'd want to look at them, maybe rule some out. That way we don't waste any time."

There was one that he was really interested in looking at, and he hoped she liked it. Not only was it near the beach, but it also had an indoor swimming pool. It had a large kitchen, five bedrooms, and a fully furnished basement. The closet in the master bedroom was huge, and the attic was even refurnished. It seemed amazing.

Sam smiled when she showed him the house he liked. He looked at the others, making sure he remembered which ones she liked. He made small talk as they ate their ice cream, reaching across the table to take her hand. When they were done he sent a message to his friend, making sure he was ready. "I gave him the address of the first house you showed me. He said he can meet us there in fifteen minutes."

He got up, keeping her hand, and led her to the car. It took them a little over fifteen minutes to get to the house, and when they did he saw his friend waiting. Sam got out and opened Allie's door for her before walking over to his friend. "Allie, this is Tom. Tom, Allie." He was actually one of the guys that he had gone out to eat with the night he lied about being on a business trip. Which reminded him...He should probably apologize for that.

Tom gave Sam a knowing smirk, causing him to glare at him. When Allie said the house was perfect he took her hands and pulled her closer. "Do you want to look at other houses?" Tom moved closer, looking at some papers. "If you want this house we could have all the paper work done in a few days. You'd be able to move in pretty much right away." Sam looked at Tom and listened, wondering if this sounded good to Allie.

"Do you want to look at others just to make sure this is the one you want?" He really liked this one, too. Tom excused himself when his phone went off, walking off to another room. "I just want you to be happy with the house." If she was worried about cleaning then he could hire a cleaning lady. That would help her.
