"Yes... It'll... It'll be okay... I'll be fine." She continued to hum to herself, shivering. It took her a couple seconds to realize that someone was actually humming with her. She stopped short, allowing Mei to continue without her as long as she would, her ear perked to hear any changes to pitch. As far as she could tell, Mei had perfectly matched her own pitch and actually got the girl's humming to go from static and shaky to smooth and relaxed. She gripped her fishing rod with one hand, both of her eyes closed as she faced the general direction of Mei.
"Wh-Wh-Who is that..." She trembled again before Mihuna spoke, prompting a swing of her fishing rod that luckily was nowhere near anyone. She began tearing up again, her lip quivering as she backed up a little so whoever was in front of her wasn't so close.
"I have no idea where I am... I... I got a l-letter and got help going to an a-address, then I was ushered onto th-th-this train without a word. I..." She stopped short, remembering how she'd reacted to Mihuna's ear and sighed, trying her best to compose herself. "I... I've never met anyone with... Wolf ears before... I thought you were a... A..." She paused there and whispers out her next word. "... Demon..." She bit her lip and relaxed more, moving to sit on her knees and held out her hand as if she were going to push something. "If... If you aren't a demon... Th-Then you should have a regular tail..." She motions to her hand gently with her head. "P-Prove it." She wasn't as frantic as before, but she was still timid and afraid...

The girl nodded slightly at Mihuna's words of comfort whilst continuing the humming song that she had been playing along with the blind girl. She didn't realize in her confusion that the blonde from earlier had made it into the room, and that there was pressure on her shoulder from where the red panda had made its perch. All she cared about was the blind girl, and now it seemed she had stopped humming and was now trying to comprehend what was happening.
She stopped her humming, glad she had finished the song, and bit her lip with downcast eyes when the girl spoke of demons. She thought cute little Mihuna was a demon, so what would she do if she found out Mei was an even worse animal than an arctic wolf? She had never found herself showing anyone her demon form and she had spent so long trying to hide it that, unless she told them, no one would ever guess she was more than the little girl she appeared to be. That was, however, until the shrine monks told each and every newcomer to stay far away from her for fear of their soul being removed and sent to Hell. So she hid. Hid the best she could. But Mihuna didn't hide. He didn't want to hide. What did that feel like to actually like who you really were?
"It's okay," Mei said, her voice a wisp of a breath. "You just got on the train late so the Headmaster and everyone had already gotten on. If you had been out there you would have met a lot of nice and funny people." She looked to Mihuna and nodded her head, hoping he'd understand what she was trying to mean: ushering him to show his tail to the blind girl. "This school is supposed to be safe for... people like us."
It was surprising for her, very surprising that she had been so calm. She was the naive one. She was the one everyone thought was special because nothing ever bothered her and she lived her life with a smile and a skip in her step. And that was still true, for all intent and purposes Mei would go back to her happy self once the crying girl did. But a demon...

He was guessing that this person like him just woke up and had no idea what was going on. He just hoped that he and Mei can help this girl before she was scared again. He looked back to Shelia to see what she was doing before Snowball peeked out of his clothes again holding a cookie. The sly devil must have stole it, and was munching on it in his shirt. "It's Mihuna." he said flinching at the swing of the umbrella rod thing, which on a different note was an interesting invention. "No wonder your so scared. Your on a train to special school called Tokubetsu in Russia." Mihuna answered his tail wagging, making a light swishy noise. Mihuna paused in his wagging when Zuki said that she thought he was a demon.
"A demon? Huh... Didn't think people would think that. Normally they say I'm cute." Mihuna said with a sheepish smile, but his eyes went wide when she asked if she could feel his tail. "Woah uh... Will you be gentle? No one has ever touched my tail before... Not sure what would happen..." the wolf boy said as he went over slowly his body completely in front of Zuki. Mihuna was nervous... This was his tail! What if she pulled on it. "N-no pulling..." he said as he placed his tail in her hands. It was quite fluffy! "So... How does this prove that I am not a demon?" he asked nervous on what might happen.◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

Something you've never encountered before and just assume its 'demons' ?" Sheila grunted around the cigar in her teeth "Moreover, what kind of world do you live in where you accept demons as an actual thing?"The tall blonde stuffed her hands in her pockets as she slowly strode over to them, the tip of her cigar glowing brightly as she took a drag from it. "I can personally assure you that there ain't any demons running around this train kid, or probably anywhere else. Closest thing you'll get to something like that is just a really shitty person and they're in pretty great supply these days." She exhaled a thick stream of smoke from the corner of her mouth, away from the others, and looked over to Mei "And you , c'mere before I get angry" she reached out for Mei, eyes narrowed and seemed like she may have been reaching for her neck until the red panda on her shoulder yipped and scampered across sheila's arm and onto her shoulder "There you go boy, mama told you not to wander off didn't she?" the panda yipped again and rubbed his head against her cheek causing her to sigh and smile as she scritched his head "Ah fine, I cant stay mad at you."Sheila placed a hand on her hip as she looked down at the others, why so many people around here were shorter than her on average she didnt know, maybe it was the heels. "Right, names. I'm Sheila Vixen, no it ain't my real name, and this here's Coco. We're both from New York...well I am at least. I think he's from China if he wasn't born in captivity. Pleased to make your acquaintance or whatever the term is nowadays."◢ "Stay outta my kitchen and you wont get burned"...

Zuki continued holding out her hands, trembling softly. All of her trembling stopped when she heard those words, however. "People... Like us..." Then she felt Mihuna's tail brush against her hand, making her gasp and retract her free hand. She placed her fishing rod on the ground and reached forward, gently running her fingers through the fur on his tail. "I... Oh, my... It's... Just like an arctic wolf..." The look on her face was one of disbelief, almost as if she believe Mihuna was still lying to her. Her cheeks grew slightly flushed as she held his tail, almost as if this small gesture had a deeper meaning. "It feels... So beautiful..." She retracted her hands and released his tail, letting him have it back.
She seemed to stop and think for a second, then lowered her head. "Then... Why am I here... There's nothing special about me." She gropes for her fishing rod and twists it, the reel drawing close to the rod so she could pop the umbrella back into place, returning the walking stick to it's original form. She slowly dragged herself off the floor into a standing position, lowering her head. "Is it really so far-fetched a thing to believe in demons when one hasn't ever met anyone with animal ears? And who's to say there aren't any on the train?" She hummed softly and lifted her head again. "Sheila. Mei. Mihuna. I'll remember that... My name is Zuki Eri." She wasn't going to use her actual name just yet. Then again, most knew her as Zuki, so it pretty much was her real name. She gave a little bow, thankfully actually facing Mihuna, and lifted her head again.

Mei wanted to giggle at Mihuna's words of him being cute. He rather was, and she wanted the opportunity to pet his tail as well though he didn't seem too pleased about giving it out. She watched as the small ferret then peeked out of his robe again holding a cookie, and she wondered where her own pet had gotten off to.
Her attention was drawn to the blonde haired woman and she bit her lip. She really didn't think such harsh words were really needed at a time like this, but she listened intently to absorb some of the knowledge from a person obviously skilled in the world. She had a point about the demons thing, but that still made Mei feel even more horribly seeing as she had spent her entire life believing it. She herself was a demon. Of course there were such things in the world.
She suddenly became the center of attention to the blonde as she seemed to be coming straight for her neck, and if the red panda had not jumped immediately off of her, she would have dropped back into her stance to defend herself. She didn't think it was needed, but it frightened her slightly and she acted upon instinct. Having a master that would continuously surprise his pupils with sand bags and random attacks did not do well for ones trusting nature when it came to physicality.
"I'm so sorry!" Mei cried. "I didn't realize he was still with me." She blushed and scratched her head as the woman introduced herself. "I'm Mei, and this is Mihuna," she said, happy to hear that the blind girl enjoyed Mihuna's tail and seemed to calm further.
"Some people believe demons are real. No one can tell you what to believe or not to believe!" Mei walked slowly up to her but stopped before any level of space was invaded. "It's really nice to meet you, Zuki. I'm Mei!"

It just felt tingly. "Aw shucks! Thank you!" he said when Zuki commented on how his tail felt beautiful. "Your pretty beautiful yourself!" he said, and then felt weird about saying that. But he felt like he had to say something after receiving such a compliment. His tail curled back to his body, but he saw the look Mei was giving his tail. "..." he let his tail fall to Mei's side, and gave her a side glance. He was giving her permission, and it felt fair.
"Well... If I'm here because I can be a wolf, maybe your here for a different ability. One that is going to get stronger, it's the reason why we're all here!" Mihuna reasoned with excitement in his voice. Then came in Shelia, and Mihuna was silent for a moment. His ears went low till the tips were touching his head. "Wow Shelia... Your as tactful with your words as a bear trying to open a locker with a tricky lock. Like your pet though." Mihuna said, he wasn't trying to start a fight, he was just speaking his mind as well. "Well... Zuki, I'm just as pleased to meet you."◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

"Besides, the animal ears s**t I'm completely prepared to believe, even I can do some crazy s**t as have people through history. Being able to do insane things or having fluffy ears don't equate to demons , just sets us apart from the rest of society as the abnormal and beautiful if that makes any sense."Sheila glanced over at Mei and sighed before uttering a single word "Attack" At the sound of that word Coco leaped from her shoulder onto Mei's head where he patted her face with his soft paw pads and gently gnawed at her ear like a kitten before wearing himself out and draping himself across the back of her shoulders like a fluffy boa. "Now there's something new" Sheila chuckled as she leaned over to be at the the wolf boy's eye level "Now I've been called a fox before and a tiger in the ring, but never a bear. Still where I come from them's fightin' words, I'd say be more 'tactful' with your words cutie or you might just find out what I did professionally back home in the Big Apple."Sheila grinned as she playfully tugged at one of the boy's ears and gave him a kiss on the forehead. No particular reason why, she was just kind of cute and she was in a playful mood as it happened. Maybe because she finally got away from her moody team. ◢ "Stay outta my kitchen and you wont get burned"...

Zuki cutely smiled to them, seeming to be erased of her fear. "They might be. There are always things we cannot see, even if they are right in front of us. We can never be sure things aren't around us, even as we speak right now." She stopped short and hummed softly. She seemed to retreat into her mind for a second, processing exactly what Mihuna had said. She was here for something, but what? Did she have some crazy kind of power? "Wait! Do I have animal ears?!?!" The blind girl frantically runs her hands along her entire head, checking for any animal parts that shouldn't be there. When she was satisfied, she relaxed a bit and let out a sigh of relief. At least that wasn't the cause... Yet.
She then faced the direction of Sheila's voice, frowning softly. It either seemed like the girl was trying to play them, or be entirely antagonistic. That, or she liked them and showed it in a weird way. She softly listened to the exchange between Mihuna and Sheila, quickly going over her thoughts. Then suddenly, in an incredibly delayed reaction, she gasped and stepped back a little, her cheeks flushing red. "You... You think... Think that I'm... I'm..." She couldn't spit out the words, but by the look on her face, it was obvious what she was referring to. "I... I'm beautiful? T-To you?"

Mei giggled when Mihuna said the girl looked beautiful before obviously retreating a bit as he felt off by saying it. Her orbs widened wide as the wolf boy let his tail fall just in front of her, and it was all she had in her to not lunge at it with a yelp and pet it. Softly, though, and tentatively she extends her hand and slowly touches the fur. She can feel a creeping smile on her lips, and even something warm fluttering up in her stomach, but she doesn't know why. When she was little, she would pet her own tail before the others had found out about her, and wondered what it was like for someone to pet her. Would it feel different? Well it did right now as she pet the boy's tail with fluttering touches.
As she gently, and absentmindedly, kept petting Mihuna's tail, her own ears were trained on what Sheila was saying. Mei was not grown on the bible itself but of different teachings, so she didn't think she had much to say. There was also the fact that Master had taught her to never think less of anyone just becuase they didn't have the same religion as her. She did feel... different when the woman spoke of what makes a demon and what makes an animal. It was different, completely and utterly, from her own teachings and she would have pondered it more until the woman whispered something and suddenly the red panda leapt onto Mei's head and began patting her face.
"Hey," Mei giggled happily, her hands coming up and over to scratch down the panda's back with mirth. Her head bent to the side as Coco began gnawing on her ear and she had another case of uncontrollable giggles before his body elongated and wrapped itself around the back of her neck like a scarf. She looked up at Shiela, stars in her eyes, and asked, "Oh, Miss. Sheila! Where in the world did you get him?!"
She watched as the woman suddenly took Mihuna in hand and kissed his forehead and she wanted to giggle even more at that. It was all just too funny! The bad memories were easily washed away with the mood now floating around the cabin and she smiled as she scratched the length of Coco's body.
"We can hear pretty well," Mei said to Zuki, flipping up her hair to her normal looking human ear. "If anything was around, we'd hear it!" She frowned then as Zuki checked her head for ears, and then broke down into laughter and pointed. "You dont have ears, silly! You have to be born with them."

It felt nice, but it also made his tingly in his stomach. Like butterflies were in his stomach? He didn't know. His ears did a flip flop motion when Shelia started talking about being called a fox or a tiger in the ring. He tilted his head, "What you did in the what now?" Mihuna asked confused at the sentence. He got lost at the 'what I did professionally in the Big Apple' part of the speech. He made a puffer fish face as he thought about 'How can you live in a giant apple?' he thought his ears twitching, "I can so totally be tactful-augh!" Mihuna's tail went crazy thumping on the floor when his ear was tug and got a kiss. His face was completely red, before he poofed into the air Snowball, his ferret leaping out. As smoke cleared all there was left was a rolling wolf, well... A puppy wolf. It was kind of like how dogs would try to dry themselves after a bath. They would run, and rub their body into the ground. To Zuki's question he wanted to respond, but all he could muster was a "Woof!" to confirm what he felt.◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

Been with me ever since Ah-okay ...that's a thing.."The tall blonde jumped a little and looked down at the fluffy white pup and arched an eyebrow "As far as powers go...That uh...that's not exactly intimidating" she paused for a moment " if you try to look up my skirt from down there I'll toss you off the train. Dig?"A low growling sound suddenly permeated the air as Sheila put a hand over her belly. "So uh...this place got food or what?"◢ "Stay outta my kitchen and you wont get burned"...

Zuki somewhat relaxed again at Mei's words. "I... I wouldn't know, Mei... I kinda can't, ummm... See myself. I have no idea what I look like... For all I know, I could have had animal ears..." She then blushed again and looked to the side. "Also, I... Had no idea I looked nice... I used to have someone take care of that for me, so... I don't really know how to keep up my own appearance..." True, her hair was a little wild and her dress a little wrinkled, but she looked mostly okay. At least, from what they could see.
She then heard a poof and Sheila mention something being new, wondering what was happening. She backed up to a table and placed her hand on it, covering her red eye with her hand and focusing on her hand, feeling for abnormal vibrations. She felt the same three that had been talking, plus another somewhere, but one was much smaller now. At first, she wondered what was going on, until she heard that bark, making her gasp. "You can turn into a wolf? That's..." She got onto the ground again, placing her umbrella down as well before crawling over to Mihuna, feeling about for him. When her hand met with his paw, she promptly picked him up and hugged him to her chest tightly, an unbelievably blissful look on her face. She didn't say anything, she just hugged him with a wide smile and both eyes closed. It was a short bit before she actually said something. "That's amazing... I wish I'd met a cute puppy before like you!" Of course, she wasn't actually paying attention to what she was saying. She was in her happy mode, and the only thing that even registered to her was that she had a puppy in her arms.

Mei's orbs widened as there was a small *poof* before the boy that was named Mihuna suddenly became a small wolf named Mihuna. Her cornflower blue orbs widened in shock but also with mirth and she wanted to pick the little wolf up and fling him up into the air. He didn't seem able to talk in that form, and she wondered if he could get out of it.
Her knuckle flew to her lip to stop her giggling fit as Sheila mentioned the lack of intimidation from the boy. She barely realized the girl, Zuki, had retreated towards a table before placing a hand over her eye. She cocked her head, though her attention was more on Mihuna, and smiled happily when the girl also became jubilant and grabbed the wolf close to her.
"I know you can't see, but you can feel!" Mei said with mirth, her hands splaying outward with her words. "The breeze, your hair, faces, it's all there at your fingertips. You can learn so much from just what you feel!"
She smiled at Sheila and replied, "It should. Ooo it smells so good!" she cried as her stomach began to growl immensely. "Do you both want food too," she directed the question to Mihuna and Zuki then only to the prior, "You're just so cute!"

'Gross...' he thought trying to get the image of seeing up someone's underwear out of his mind. This was embarrassing! He changed in front of everyone due to embarrassment! And no he was even more so then before. "Well... This could be worse. Mihuna said through dog talk, his ears perking up more when Zuki landed on the ground in front of him. He tilted his head, and pressed his nose against Zuki's hand when she felt around for him by touching his paw. Then he was picked up, his body pressed up against her chest. "My head! In the chest! Why is it soft here?" He made that little grunting noise that puppies do, trying to get his head from of her Zuki's chest and up to her face.
When he saw her face and how happy she was, he wagged his tail. He made her happy? Was this really the same person hiding before? At the question of good Mihuna barked to say 'yes please!'. Though he was embarrassed from being picked up, he liked the attention her was getting, and how the people around him were feeling. It was good to make people happy. ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆
