Just when Hayes was beginning to believe that he had been stood up Nekhbet showed up and literally through her purse at him. He of course grabbed it before it fell on the ground but his eyes had widened slightly at her outburst of anger. He was a little surprised that she was angry at him at all, but especially to that degree. Hadn't she asked him to be her date? Hayes was to say the lease a little confused. Of course, just like everything else he just shrugged it off and and went with the flow. "I didn't think you would have went that far in." He admitted as he put her purse over his shoulder and held it there by his arm so it was out of the way. Could he rock a ghoul's purse with no problem? Yes, yes he could. "I've been waiting over here." He added, slightly hoping it would calm her down.
His purple ears lifted up slightly at the sound of her stomping but chose to ignore it. "Here?" Hayes asked, offering his right arm for her to grab so they could walk in together. He had seen some of the other boils doing it so it seemed like the right thing to do. "Nekhbet, where do you want me to escort you?" Hayes further asked in hopes of the ghoul having some sort of idea. He was also willing to let her take the lead on this since he had upset her for no reason.

himehorse YOU SNEAKY LITTLE- ilu2 ;; <33333 In the midst of his sullen glaring, he felt a soft kiss against his cheek. It was difficult to maintain his appropriate level of angst and unhappiness when Efflo was so close, and looked so damn beautiful. Somehow, he managed, though his eyes unfocused before softening when they looked at him. A roll of his eyes followed the inevitable wrapping of his arm around Efflo's waist, pulling him hard against his side. "You're going to ruin my reputation." Gabby growled, finally letting a smirk escape. His fingers caught Efflo's chin, and pulled him up for a proper kiss, if only to hide the way the boil always made him smile, no matter where they were. A proper, long, uninhibited kiss. Then he pulled away, and held Efflo's arm up. Apparently the kiss had been a distraction, while his hand had been frosting up a trio of bloomed roses made of ice that wrapped around Efflo's arm. A corsage. Sort of. "It won't last." He warned the boil, disentangling himself before he started to forget they were in public. "So don't get near anything too warm for a while." That was just an excuse to keep Efflo in his corner of ice, wasn't it? As if he needed one. Revitalized by the boil's presence, Gabby turned and began to ice up the walls afresh, lengthening the space of wall covered by ice.

[A.V.] Mia was flitting about, making sure drinks and snacks were constantly replenished, and making sure there were enough souvenirs to go around. She might have also been watching Gabby out of the corner of her eye, but as long as he wasn't making his ice a tripping hazard, she was content. He totally was. He totally was.

Not only beautiful but but nice! This night was getting better and better! It was nice to know that she wasn't the only one new to this type of party. Aureole did wonder what a 'Pyre Festival' looked like. Sounded fun! "I've been to one of the other events the school hosted but I haven't been to a festival before. My father has hosted different gatherings but nothing this big." Aureole tilted her head back and looked around and up at the decorations before grinning towards Ashanti. "Good to know I'm not the only one new to this sort of party. It's huge, right?" Aureole just really couldn't get over how big the parties here were! "And the food isn't too bad, as I can see you've already tried." How could she pass up a chance to comment on the frosting upon the dragoness's face. But, as it would seem, after Aureole had grabbed her own cupcake to taste, something came and knocked her in the back of the head, sending her face right into the frosting of the cupcake. She stood frozen for a moment with her face still in the sugary spread before slowly lifting it, blinking a few times to try and see past the frosting. Aureole couldn't help herself. She laughed. Not giggle but full-on laughed. Most would have tried to look and see what caused such a catastrophe but Aureole couldn't help but think what a classic case of kharma it was! "Haha! We match now!"TiH Student Council Oh! thank you so much! I would like a Blossilia Fairytale, please. c: SN: Kaineferu

"And it's nice to see you~! How's the cafe?" Junko asked with a grin as she laid a kiss against Xiu's cheek, then settled her chin on the other ghoul's shoulder. It was great until she heard creampuff again, followed by a new and improved version of the stupid name. She scowled, lifting her head to pout at Hel. "Stop calling me that!" Why am I friends with you?The Mistress cackled with amusement while Junko turned her attention back to Vaith, brightening up and giving him a wave. "Hey! You too!" A pause. She looked at Hel and Xiu, and then at Vaith, and then at Hel and Xiu again. "... Are they your dates?" Junko asked in a shocked whisper, eyes wide. Two dates Vaith? Two?! And Hel and her precious little Xiu of all creeple? ...Then again Nahm did it. But that was Nahm.

Of course Lou would see her out of all creeple in the crowd. Of course he would make a beeline over to her and Tanvir and hit every single nerve button she had. Piggy pig? Butch? Did he just call her butch?? The only reason she did not pummel his a** into the ground was due to recalling Deacon getting sent to the principals office, and she was not about to get sent there just cause of this vampire pain in the a**. So she would have to call on every sense of patience she ha- "THE ******** DID YOU JUST CALL HIM?!" She shouted at Lou with a clenched fist, exposing her sharp teeth in a threatening snarl. "Lou you have about three seconds to get out of my face..." The dragon continued to glare, glancing around for a way to escape. Nearby she saw Xiu chatting to a group of friends, and as awesome as it would be to chat to her she wasn't about to burden her with lou. Another check of the scenery revealed a lonely looking cat who was looking very familiar, and very pouty. "...The heck - LOU! TOPLESS CHICK!" She pointed the opposite way before she grabbed Tanvir's arm and hauled their asses outta thereWhat followed was some fantastic manoeuvres which included hiding behind the DJ, in amongst the dancing couples, until she dragged herself and Tanvir underneath a table, crawling around until she was crouching right next to Riyo. "Sup?"

Uru's head perked up when his name was called. Scanning among the crowd, his eyes fell upon the dormmouse ghoul. He offered a small smile and a similar wave as she was leaving with her friend - he imagined. He turned back to Damien, blushing from his ears. Rikku Takanashi Of course he recalls Camilla, her face doesn't change shape! Or her scent. It was while scanning for the one who called his name that he found a hint of another. In the distance he could see the out-of-place Horseman. His wings tucked and... well, he looked like he was genuinely curious about everything that was being offered. To Uru, he looked like a first time party-goer. The idea made him chuckle to himself. Uru offered a raise of his cup when their eyes met.

Ruth had forgotten just how expressive eyes could be. Brows too. But she was making the most of it as those sparkle-filled baby blues of hers widened and her brows rose in wonder. She clapped her hands first to her mouth then to her chest before continuing (still in that odd falsetto) "Does that make me a Princess?"
Hope shone in her eyes and the sparkles seemed to multiply to blinding proportions as she stared at Brenley and Ignatius. The Violet was having the time of her life because this is it, this must be it! "Oh but don't stop dancing for my sake! You two seem to be enjoying your date."
Hector just shrugged, unconcerned before smirking, "Someone said something about punch?"Seiana_ZI I am so sorry this is so late

"No," Brenley said. It was the answer to so many things.
She was not a princess, he did not want any punch, and this was not a date. He probably should have left it at that, but these were his friends and politeness was important. Once upon a time, it had even been Very Important. He wondered when that had changed. Bren closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. Look at that. He was a whole new person. Really. He even smiled.
"I mean, yes. Definitely. You are the very definition of a princess... Ruth." He tested the name and still found it difficult to square with reality. "Hector." He turned to the splotchy boil. Now that he was trying to ignore the blatant discomfort inherent in the situation, he couldn't help but wonder where the underdressed (thanks Ignatius) boil had come from. She had asked if they saw a frog, but he'd written it off as part of her episode. Was this Hector actually a frog? "I think the punch is just juice, but the drinks are that way. Right, Ignatius?" Despite the breathing and the smiles and the denial, he added, "We're just friends."Huni Pi i hope you're not in storm land idk maps ;;

D-dance? Lute looked to the floor and paled, not many people were actually dancing yet. That would be super embarrassing if they were spotlighted! Rosy eyes hit the floor and she fidgeted clinging tighter to Ayane. Lute did want to dance though so for a moment she struggled to come up with an answer. "U-um...maybe..maybe we can dance-e.." She offered looking up with an uncomfortable gaze and adding, "m-maybe off to the side?" "Heh..alright." A glance to the food told him that his ex wasn't around. More importantly the sweep of eyes had him noticing a rather punked out ghoul. A familiar one, Verusha , the ghoul he played arcade games with way back when. She was cool very in Zaire's book and while they weren't super friendly they had, had a good time. So with a squeeze to his boilfriends arm he smiled and gave a little tug in her direction. "On second thought...there is someone I want to say hi to..." His lazy tone had a slight purr to it as he lead Jory over to where Verusha was rocking out alone. "Verusha ...where's your pup?" He called to her a little teasingly as they approached, pausing a respectable distance and waiting to see if she recognized him from their maul play time. Beejoux LOOK JORY YOUR BOILFRIEND ISNT A LONER HE KNOWS PEOPLE

Eyeing the mirror from time to time, he wandered around the inner walls of the gym, inspecting what ever he could. His eye would also glance at the groups or pairs of friends, couples, and acquaintances, feeling a twinge of jealously suddenly sprout in his gut. That was a foreign sensation...
Lips pressing, and brows lowering some to make his eyelids veil a little more too, he had to do a double take when he noticed someone had been actually looking at him. It took a second to register, but his mind kicked in soon enough in recognizing the canine. Straightening up a bit from the gesture aimed his way, his wings gave a hesitant twitch at his sides, before he returned with an up-nod in greeting in return. His eyes drifted to those who surrounded the hellhound, in awe of the bonds the other was able to make. Uru'd said he had been like Qui at some point, and it looked like he'd managed to thrive and grow here. Yet Qui still felt the same: stagnant, life unchanged since 'that day'.

Uru gave the green-eyed boil a brief pat on the shoulder - a silent indication that he was briefly leaving his side. The demon maneuvered through the crowd, getting bumped, elbowed, stepped on, and such which he growled back in kind. Before long he found himself near the Horseman in question with a less grumpy expression the ancient was probably more familiar with. Dressed in a strapping outfit. Probably not as extravagant as his formal wear, but it would do what he was going for; the Moderate Sized Wolf and the Red Clad Human. "I didn't think you'd be here, Qui." He said, briefly flinching after had said so. Why wouldn't Qui be here? He was a free individual to do as he pleased. If Qui wanted to come to the Prom, he could certainly do that. Many students came here on their own. It was okay to do so. "I want you to meet someone."

Basically in her own little world, giving no craps to any strange looks or wrinkled noses of judgement her way, the reaper had even started humming along with the familiar songs. It was surprising when she eventually did realize that someone was actually talking to her! Hearing her name over the thrum of the beats, she blinked her eyes open to glance in the sources direction, surprise etching mildly on her face. Oh hey... it was that one cute gamer boil. A grin instantly lifted on her lips as she paused her grooving to address the other better, snorting lightly with mention of Cannon. A hand lifted to point a thumb over her shoulder towards the door, "Oh he's here alright, don't you worry. I just sometimes decide to have the courtesy to let him hang outside in crowded places like these." she smirked wryly, "I can be considerate... sometimes. Buuut I could always summon him in here, if you were missing him." the ghoul mused, before looking the aquatic being's get up a few times, and then his obvious date attached to the side, "You two enjoying yourselves?" she asked in a sort of knowing tone, paired with an expression to match. -------------- It was while he was inspecting Uru from afar that it hit him. Wait... wasn't he supposed to have someone here too? Having taken that... pair up quiz, thing, his results coupled with a flower indicated he had someone to join with here. But... how was he to find them...? Probably the blue flower he'd been given would glow if he got near them? But there were so many people...
A little distracted, now looking around his direct surroundings, reaching to the small hidden pocket that was nestled in his own get up, which was to resemble The Raven. Clad in mostly black now, even with a few dark feathers sprouted along one side of his head, and his usual wrap exchanged for a black one, with black feathers strung along his arms, his red wings really stood out more starkly than ever. But he couldn't bring himself to dye them, even for the brief occasion, but his hair was not except. Dark markings had been drawn on his face and exposed upper body with the shapes of bones, and to sharpen his features. 'Fancy dress' was clearly far different in his minds eye, due to his War Horseman upbringing, than the rest here, it seemed.
Lightly and slowly twirling the flower between his thumb and forefinger, he looked up quickly as Uru suddenly was much closer to him, embarrassingly fumbling to hide the flower back into the folds of his wrap. The statement made his lips part to speak, but nothing came out. Instead, his eyes looked to the side a little awkwardly, giving a faint and subtle nod in agreement. It... really wasn't the best decision, it seemed. But in his desperation for company, and trying to fit in, he'd came. With a soft snort, he raised a hand to run through his hair in defeat, "Yeah.. I guess I should have learned from the last time, huh?" he muttered, mostly under his breath. Looking up at the latter comment, though, he first blinked at Uru, before slightly shifting his gaze to right behind the larger boils frame to where he'd once been. "Yeah..?" was it one of those he was hanging out with?

Ayane smiled down to her fidgeting ghoulfriend and she nodded. "Off to the side is fine, we don't have to be out where everyone can see us." Personally, Ayane just wanted to say she'd come here with Lute and show her ghoulfriend a good time. There would be other occasions, other events to expand her social network and start currying favor and contacts with other creatures. But tonight was Lute's night. Besides, she'd never really had a good chance to dance with her ghoulfriend - no real excuse to, so she might as well get what she could now. She slowly lead Lute through the crowd, trying to find a somewhat reasonable spot for them to dance and not be in the way of anyone. Once she found a place to her liking, she stopped and smiled at Lute. "Will here work?"

Uru glanced over the Horseman a few times to take in the appearance. Compared to himself, it would seem the ancient Horsemen clans had a different definition of formal dress. Then again, most of them consisted of clothes, silks, bones, and feathers. For what it was, Qui looked good. Uru could appreciate culture. He patted the winged ancient as he led the not-stranger through the crowds back to the sulfur scented boil that was currently off somewhere. "That auction - party was a disaster, lets not talk about it." He announced over the untz of the music as he made a path for Qui to follow. He could take the elbows, the shoulders, the feet, the tails and such. At least Qui would not have to deal with them or the side-eyes and glares that Uru inevitable got for pushing through. He came up to the boil clad in red with a wide grin on his face. "Damien! This is the Horseman I know, Qui. Qui, this is Damien, my ----- date tonight." Uru wasn't exactly sure if he should put a label on it. They were still new... but if the boil had wanted...
