Once she'd recovered from that, she quietly busied herself with a few small chores, taking care not to burn through all of her energy. Done with that event, Yuno soon moved on to using a broom and sweeping the streets clear of small debris, helping to make the area look more inhabited. Thud.
This time, Io was the one to hit her - and Yuno wasn't nearly as, uh, cushioned as Io was. It was actually slightly painful, and she scrambled to take her medicines as the other girl apologized. However, she found it hard to hate the other girl, and ultimately wound up helping Io with some more medical tasks.  Amora Necromonium Night came and went...And, as Amora pushed herself to her feet, glancing around anxiously for a familiar face...She found herself face-first in a certain...soft spot on someone.
"W..who.." she started, before the girl backed up."I..I'm sorry! I just.I thought you were in trouble..and I.." The girl called, holding her hands up as if to assure her she wasn't trying anything. A quick pat of her own outfit, and the girl bowing deeply later, she nodded quietly.
"It's okay.." Amora answered, averting her gaze."Are..Are you lost? Or..." the girl answered, looking nervous. "I just...I wanna.."Amora paused for a bit, glancing the girl up and down..before looking up.
"Have you seen a boy..with Dark green hair...and eyes like mine?" Amora called, looking the girl sternly in the eye."I...I.." the nervous girl called, flinching as Amora glared at her. "I..I haven't, but someone in JPs might have! It's over this way.."Amora was leery of the girl, but if it had a chance of finding her father...

Caution wasn't everything, though, and an explosion rocked the area where Yuno was working. Once more, she managed to avoid outright death... but DARN it hurt! Still... even if an otherworldly monster attacked her... she wasn't... going to give up...!

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"If the demons were trying to get into JPs Headquarters at the old Embryon base, they weren't trying very hard. A Moh Shuuvuu crumpled to the ground after a fire spell overwhelmed her and cried out before dissipating into magnetite; that was the last of the weak horde that had tried to rush the gates of their base shortly after Touma had officially thrown his lot in with the only organization really fighting back against this apocalypse surrounding them. His first task had been to put these infiltrators down, and he had done so with little trouble. What would come next, he wondered?
"Maybe I can get that p***k Hotsuin to find her..." he mused, before tossing the idea aside. Bigger fish to fry right now. No time to be selfish. ...He scoffed. Well, there was always time to be a little selfish...especially when being selfish was selfless. Ish. He didn't want to get too deep into it.

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"If he had been hoping for more of a challenge after the weaker demon raid, the challenge came when a group of angry citizens came charging at the gate as though the devils were inside the base and not behind them...many had summoning Apps and were hopping mad at a JPs organization that they felt had abandoned them the day before when the calamity began. Touma could almost understand the sentiment, but what damn good did they think they were doing tearing down the only group with the power to fight back against those...whatever that thing had been that nearly killed him yesterday! From Sako, he had heard the news that some kid from Sapporo gallivanting in the region had teamed up with some friends to knock that thing for a loop and finish it yesterday...he wished he had the opportunity for revenge himself, but at least whatever that monster was died. This fight, however, was different...angry, indignant, and righteously terrified humans were attacking the base and he was the frontline against them.
"Come to your senses you stupid, sons of, bi-!" he caught a strike to the jaw from one big, burly man and countered with a knee to the abdomen that crumpled the man and an elbow to the back of the head that blacked his eyes out and sent him tumbling into unconsciousness. One Agi from his tiny companion later and the last woman was down...the crisis averted...but the blood that lined his arms and his cheek were evidence enough that the fight hadn't been easy. "You're lucky..." he panted, wiping a trickle of crimson from the corner of the his lips, "You're still alive...you pricks..."
If that had been any more dangerous...he couldn't have promised he'd hold back enough to leave them that way, either.
