She moved under his arms now, using her height to fall back around him, then dart back in front of him and then back.
At least his speed met hers really.
But she bet his attack would be much better then her.

Chris guffawed, probably the most honest laugh he'd felt in a while. "Are you actually friends with Chel? How do you have conversations with her? She's ten times worse than me when it comes to language."
He definitely would not have had a better attack, and he was content to keep up the defense. Nora did not like zombies. Werewolves, vampires, demons, angels fallen or otherwise, Greek mythology and similar, sure. But not zombies. Her last encounter with the damn things had nearly gotten her infected and had resulted in a nightmarish infestation it had taken her several weeks to get completely over (no, Evan, that kick wasn't a result from a nightmare, that was merely restless leg syndrome again.)
She stood in the cordoned area and watched the groups have at it, taking a few minutes to get used to the sight without shuddering. Zombies were a special sort of horror: like a disease you couldn't quite put down.
Bonus: Sun Trainee +2 to attacks
Weapon: Melee (double damage to Armored)

"...Really?" She titled her head to stare up at the ceiling in awe. Other Native Americans on the island!? "How wonderful!" But then it was time to get down to business. Oh gosh. Molly went a bit wide eyed at seeing an actual zombie...and being split up from the rest of the Hunters. She kept her head about her though, since Dakota was there to anchor her. "R-right!" She stepped away and ahead of the other, hold a hand out to summon her monster lance-- Then immediately caught it on a trash can. "OH NOES!" HP: 58 / 60

How on earth could everyone be so cavalier about fighting zombies? Maybe it was a full hunter thing, whatever it was Peyton had just done to the creature looked like it had come straight out of a movie. With the rotten smell in the air and the nervous butterflies in his stomach, Oliver was about ready to throw up. The second friendly pat on his back might have calmed those nerves somewhat had another terrifying creature not stumbled forward. The acid it spat from whatever mouthparts it had left smelled just as terrible as the dead flesh itself. Oliver yelped loudly, and for once had an entirely unencumbered swing. The skeletal axe smashed heavily into the disgusting creature with a strength even the kid himself couldn’t have expected. Instead of answering her, Dakota bent his knee's a little. He was already set in battle mode, eyeing the creature that came towards them with no sympathy. Kill or be killed.
He smacked the hand away with his sword, gazing over his shoulder at Molly.

"Holy ********. I said finish it off not tear it the ******** apart." Not that Finn was really complaining. Actually, it had been rather mesmerizing to watch, though the stench that rose up out of all of those oozing, gaping wounds was at least gag worthy. Finn fought down a sudden urge to retch and wound his scarf around his mouth and nose, not just thinking about the smell but also of keeping that infected fluid splatter away from his face. And then another disgusting looking mutant infected form came scuttling towards them, this one all mouths and gross looking (likely acidic) substances dripping from their maw. With a sigh through his nose, he stepped forward, but not before Oliver demonstrated a rare moment of brevity and hit the creature for all he was worth. Finn let out a low whistle. "Nice one, princess!" He smiled from behind his makeshift mask, and continued on his way, giving Peyton some cover while sweeping his bladed lance around to try and knock it back. Actually, all he really accomplished was shielding her from some of the puke that the thing then spewed in their direction. "Aw, ******** hellllll." He groaned, attempting to kick the grossness off of his expensive boots. HP: 70 Defending: Peyton for 5 Charge: 2/3 Spitter HP: 27 Quote: Infected Info: Spitter! : HP - 40

Her cheeks were still red as her brows furrowed and she charged the zombie, tearing into it and nearly demolishing it. She just wanted Dakota to be proud. HP: 58 / 60

Thomas actually snorted, amused though he really shouldn't have been given the smell, and the sounds of battle in the air, including the screams of hunters who were under attack and in need of help. "Hand holding is juvenile. It is not like I intend to go skipping with you down some country lane." Following behind Chance now, he peered at the woman curiously from behind, before attempting to give her a reassuring smile as well. "Yes, as the man on the PA system has said. We are only here to help you. Please come with us, and we will take you to where you can be safe." At least, that's what he assumed was going to happen, now.

Robert wrapped his arms around the woman when she climbed into his lap, and the loud speaker Rep offered them a salute on their journey. He waited, and heard the gears begin to grind underneath them, but the spaceship did not budge an inch. He shook it a little, and heard another whine of metal under his a**. Mimsy's completely legitimate discovery had him nodding sagely, with his mouth caught in a small 'oh' shape. Then he grinned, and planted a wet kiss on her cheek. "Of course we are! It was teleportation! We sat down and put the money in and WHOOSH-" Upon screaming whoosh, the metal holding up the spacepod finally gave in, and they went crashing into the ground. It was a decently stable fall, leaving them still in the little vehicle even though it was now broken and slightly tilted on the floor. He waited for something else to happen, before finally whispering. "Let's go make those wishes." Someone was totally going to make them pay for that..
