No one had seen Cloud, at least not in the last five minutes. Which meant that Cloud was officially AWOL. Huey held back a groan and slid his hands up to his face, the heel of his palm digging into his eyes. "Nooo," he groaned and, still technically blind-folded, spun around and began heading in the opposite direction of Nimbasa. He just had to find his pokemon, there was absolutely no doubt in his mind about that, but he had no idea where to start looking or if he even had a chance to find the tiny little thing. But, for now there was no time for such negative thoughts, or even really a solid plan, he just needed to start looking. "Spread out and try to find him," he commanded and waited until he heard the sound of shuffling feet before he let his hands fall to his side. "Let's meet up.. back at that big tree, just try and be careful." It was one of the few distinguishable landmarks he could think of, and he didn't need to lose anymore pokemon.
Huey cupped his hand over his mouth, took a deep breath, called for his Togepi, and then waited. He strained his ears, trying to catch even a whisper, mental or verbal, of a response and pouted when he received nothing of the like. "Cloud, where did you go..." he asked quietly before he sent out Beep, who wagged his tail in a pleasant greeting. He planned to enter deeper into the forest, where the trees joined tighter together and there was less room to spread out, and without the rest of his pokemon around him he needed a bit more protection.
Not to mention Beep gave off the.. helpful vibe, even now he didn't seem to mind being brought out simply to play bodyguard; his eyes had gone wide and his tail wagged a mile a minute when the situation had been explained to him. Huey quirked an eyebrow, that certainly wasn't the reaction he'd expected, but eventually chalked it up to Beep being excited about helping not the fact that one of his teammates was missing.
So that was good.

With Beep by his side Huey slipped past the first line of trees, his eyes directed towards the ground; Cloud wasn't even two feet tall, he doubted he'd need to look in the trees for him. Beside him Beep diligently followed behind him, keeping a sharp eye out for his teammate. Though... if he thought about it, he actually had no idea what this teammate of his looked like. Maybe he looked like a Cloud, just like his nickname suggested.
That would be cool! Oh, but wait... technically.. didn't he look like a cloud? What with his white fleece and all. Maybe his name should have been 'Cloud' then? It wasn't as if he didn't like his nickname now--Beep had a nice ring to it-- so there was no true reason to begin asking for a new name.
A few uneventful minutes passed in which Huey only accomplished startling a few Pidove from the nests and causing them to take flight. He was starting to feel as if his search was in vain before he stopped suddenly and whirled around and stared off to the left. "Did you hear that?" he asked Beep quietly and Beep baaed in response. Both turned to look back to where the apparent sound had come from and after a few seconds a distant, yet distinct, babble could be heard. "That's Cloud!" Huey proclaimed and instantly darted forward in the direction of the voice.
Beep did his best to keep up with Huey only to have the occasional thorny bush catch on his fleece and impede his movement, so much so that he arrived late upon the scene; and what a strange scene it was.
Cloud looked up and quickly perked up at the sight of Huey, "hiya Hubert!" he waved happily, his small body wiggling in delight. "I didn't think you'd find me so soon!" Cloud shifted himself lightly, his eyes lifting upwards. "Have you met my new friend?" he asked before he gestured to the large Skarmory whose claws he was firmly trapped underneath. "She doesn't talk much, but she's a great listener!"

For the second time since entering the forest Huey found himself at a loss for words, his lips pressing down into a firm line of concern as he looked at Cloud. As always he appeared to oblivious to imminent danger, and how imminent it was... "Uhm, that's.. that's nice, Cloud," Huey heard himself say, and could only hope he didn't sound as nervous as he did in his head. "How did you meet your new 'friend'?" He had to stall for time, that was the only thing he could think of doing right now, stall until he could think of a plan; if that Skarmory's gaze was sharp its talons were sharper, and the way it kept them surrounded around his poor pokemon definitely wasn't comforting.
Speaking of his 'poor pokemon', he seemed more than pleased to retell the story of how he'd come to meet the stony Skarmory. "Well, I saw that worm thing again! So I went to investigate it, and then BAM!" Huey jumped at his joyous pokemon's sudden shout, and rubbed the back of his head. While he tried to regain his composure he made eye contact with Beep, trying to silently communicate that something needed to be done. Thankfully, he seemed to understand and gave a subtle nod. Now that he had one on board he just needed to catch his abductee up to speed...
"Cloud, can you hear me?" Huey asked in his mind. He knew that Tybalt could read his mind, though he didn't know if the same principles applied with Cloud, though it was worth trying. Cloud cocked his head to the side, which Huey took as some indication that he could. "Don't say anything, just... listen okay? I'm going to have Beep use a move on that Skarmory, and when it lets go run to me, got it?" There was a moment of silence and the boy swallowed heavily. "...What about the rest of my story?" the question was asked quietly, but from what he could tell only he could hear it. "Tell me about it once we're out of here, okay? I promise I'll listen.""...Okay~"
The Skarmory, taking note of the silence, narrowed her eyes at Huey suspiciously her grip tightening around Cloud and Huey watched in horror as Cloud began to squirm in discomfort. If that bird tightened its grip any further.... "Now Beep!" the boy shouted as loud as he could in a an attempt to disrupt the unpleasant thoughts coming to his mind. The Mareep didn't hesitate and let loose a powerful shock of thunder, directly at the Skarmory. It gave a cry of pain, its wings, and more importantly its legs, lifting up into the air in its shock. Cloud, feeling the pressure lift from his body, wiggled himself out from underneath it and ran directly to his trainer, who scooped him up in his arms protectively.
"Let's go!" Huey made sure his hold on Cloud was secure before he darted off, this time zig-zagging around the obstacles that would give Beep a hard time. He wasn't going to lose another pokemon.

Huey ran without once looking back, afraid that if he did he'd trip and fall or, even worse, he'd see the Skarmory giving chase, its talons outstretched and reaching. It was only when his chest began to hurt and his vision started to blur did he finally stop, his breath coming out in short gaps as he tried desperately to refill his lungs with oxygen. With trembling limbs he slid to the ground, his back presenting against the trunk of a tree, and peered down at Cloud. Once his vision had cleared he began to inspect the pokemon for injuries and, to his relief, found that there wasn't even a scratch; he would have heaved a sigh of relief, but he couldn't waste the oxygen.
Beside him Beep nudged his arm and baaed, worried for his trainer but more than pleased with his own contribution to the rescue, it'd been executed beautifully. "I'm... I'm fine, thank you," the boy wheezed and placed a hand atop his head. He'd succeeded in finding Cloud, now he just had to wait for the rest of his pokemon. It was rather convenient, but he'd ended up right back at the tree that served as their meeting place; it must've been a combination of luck and subconscious targeting. He wasn't too worried about them, however, Dianna, Yuki, and Rags were strong enough to fend off the pokemon of the forest, and even ones like that Skarmory. Though hopefully Beep's Thunder had put it out of commission.
"Can I continue my story now?" Cloud asked and shifted himself so that he could comfortably rest in Huey's lap. "Uh sure, Cloud. I think we have some time now." He nodded gratefully and stretched his arms up. While the pokemon got himself story-telling ready from the left came the sound of rustling bushes. Huey ignored it, however, figuring it to be just another curious pokemon, though he put a hand onto a random pokeball, just in case.
"Okay, so! Where was I..." Cloud tapped his chin to try and remember where he'd left off. "Oh! That's right! So! I saw the worm thing, went to investigate it and that's where I ran into this tall guy!""..Huh?" that certainly wasn't what Huey had expected, and it immediately left him unsettled. "Yeah, yeah! He's the trainer of my Skarmory friend, you remember her, right? Anyway, he grabbed me and we traveled for a bit, but after he handed me over to Skar-Skar--that's her new nickname, do you like it? I like it.-- he left for a bit."
That story had certainly taken a twist, and Huey wasn't too sure he was a fan. If that Skarmory had a trainer, and that trainer had been the one who had kidnapped Cloud and was no currently MIA.... Cloud's sudden gasp brought Huey from out of his thoughts and the Togepi flailed happily before he pointed out. Huey swallowed heavily. "There he is!" he proclaimed happily and pointed to the man who had emerged from the bushes. "That's the guy! Hi guy!"
Huey reluctantly turned his head to look in the direction Cloud had indicated to, his heart jumping into his throat. The man before him was rather.. plain, there was nothing that stood out except for the dark color of his pupil, it nearly blotted out the whites of his eyes, and the smirk that slowly curled over his lips.
"What's this ********> Huey heard himself mutter as he scrambled back to his feet.
Heh. He'd almost forgotten the word that Leon had unintentionally taught him. He wasn't too sure of its meaning, but it summed up his sudden situation.

Huey pressed his back against the tree firmly, the rough bark of the trunk digging into his shirt. Beside him Beep growled, electricity popping off his fleece. The man didn't say a word, simply cocked his head and sent out a Manetric, it set its red gaze on Beep and let loose a growl. "If you think you're going to get lucky a second time with that Thunder of yours, you might want to reconsider," he said slowly, voice in monotone. Huey swallowed heavily, tightening his grip around Cloud. "You there, boy." he jumped when he was addressed, the indifference in his voice making him shiver. "I believe you have something of mine, I did find it fair and square after all."
Instead of answering he began to try and edge away, taking small steps in the direction away from him. "Oh, now don't do that. We don't want to make this anymore difficult for you." Huey didn't listen and continued to step away before he broke out into a dead run. He didn't get too far, unfortunately, and within seconds was cut off by the Manetric, its deep growl rumbling in his chest. From behind him the sounds of footsteps could be heard and stopped directly behind him. "You don't listen well, do you?" the man hissed and Huey turned around to face the man, he didn't say anything and instead appraised the young boy silently. Those eyes of his... like pools of oil, they made the boy shudder and avert his eyes.
He chuckled and that was all the warning he got before in a flash of silver Huey was knocked onto his rear with his forearms stinging. Through sharp tears he looked up into the air to see the Skarmory from before, bruised and battered, with Cloud once again in her talons. "My friend is back~!" Cloud cried gleefully, and proceeded to squeal as he was thrown into the air and caught in its beak. "See what happens when you're not a good boy? You get hurt."
Huey sniffled and slowly brought himself onto one knee, his hands curling into tight fists atop his thighs. "Now, unless you want to get hurt again you'll be giving me the rest of your pokemon."

Huey grit his teeth before he shook his head fiercely, there was no way... absolutely no way he was losing his pokemon again. "You act like I gave you a choice." He kept his eyes down to avert his gaze and in the process caught sight of his forearms. The claws of that Skarmory had done some damage, tearing through both layers of his shirts and even the top layer of skin. The scratches hurt and bled a little, but they would heal within a few weeks; he could have sustained worse damage, he knew. With his head still bowed he twitched his finger towards his side, where the rest of his pokeballs lay. If electric wouldn't work, then he could always try another pokemon...
A sharp squeal, this one more pain-filled than joyful, broke through the air and Huey jerked his head up sharply, his eyes instantly seeking out Cloud. The Skarmory's beak had clamped down powerfully onto the Togepi's small form and made deliberate eye-contact with Huey as it did so. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. We wouldn't want your Togepi to get hurt now, would we?"
Huey swallowed thickly, his vision once again blurring as tears welled up in his eyes. "F-fine, I'll give you them... just stop hurting him," he pleaded, subtly ignoring the stricken expression on Beep's face. He didn't want to give up any of his pokemon, but what choice did he have? He couldn't bear the thought of Cloud being hurt anymore or... have anything worse happen to him.
He pulled himself onto unsteady feet, and with the back of his fist swiped quickly at his eyes to clear them of their tears. In front of him he could hear the man smack his lips in irritation. "Cut the waterworks and give me your pokemon already, I don't have all day." Huey snuffled and just barely managed to hold back a sob before his fingers slowly unclipped a pokeball and handed it off; that was Prim's pokeball, the little Floette had no idea that this illegal hand-off was even happening. "That one too," the man nudged his head towards Beep, whose growl reverberated in his throat. Huey stiffened and turned to look at him, the feeling of helplessness nearly crushing him. Why.. why.. couldn't he stop this?
The stand-off continued for several seconds before the Skarmory, deciding to speed things up, crunched down on Cloud, eliciting from him an uncomfortable wiggle and another cry of pain. Huey flinched and Beep's tail drooped. He looked to Huey for help, unsure of what to do himself, but upon seeing the despondent look in his dull eyes turned to look away. With a bow of his head he conceded and with slow, jerky, movements trotted over to join the man and his pokemon. Huey's small frame shook with another sob.
"We'll wait for the rest of your pokemon to come find you and then I'll take those as well. In the meantime you can give me those pokeballs you were trying to hide," he instructed and Huey only nodded his head robotically. Of course he'd know about the rest...
Without a word he began to take out the other eight pokeballs, but before the transaction could be made a small nose poked itself out of the hollow, followed by a white and yellow head. Cautiously the Emolga poked its head out, arm craned back with a few nuts at the ready. It looked between its target, decided the larger male was more of a threat, aimed, and fired.
The nut flew through the air and cracked upon the man's temple causing him to stumble back. He hissed and grabbed at his head, barely having any time to compose himself before another flew down and hit him in the nose.

As the onslaught of nuts began a spark of light lit into Huey's eyes and he took a chance, lunging towards the man with his fingers outstretched towards his pokeball. Unfortunately, although he was distracted he wasn't unaware and when Huey went for his pokemon all he received was a quick punch to the cheek. It connected sharply and sent him reeling back with his vision swimming, bright pain blossoming from his face. He sunk to the ground and clutched at his cheek, gingerly placing his small fingers against the injury.
"Tch," the hunter looked down at Huey with poorly disguised contempt and irritation, his hand flicking up into the away to redirect yet another nut. "Skarmory, go deal with that," he commanded and held a hand out to receive Cloud who was thrown to him without a word. He looked the Togepi over, who had grown uncharacteristically quiet, but reserved whatever comment he had and instead looked up to the tree. Skarmory hadn't even gotten close, however, before a bolt of lightening shot out from the hollow and right above her head, though it went directly down to the Manectic to be absorbed. She gave a cry of outrage, readjusted herself, and dove in, her claws raking the trunk of the tree. She pulled her claws back, retreated just in time to avoid blast of electricity, and returned to continue her work.
An agitated chitter could be heard from within the hollow and once Skarmory pulled back it leapt out, expanding its skin to glide down and land directly onto the hunter's face. With little claws extended it didn't hesitate to rake its claws repeatedly over his face. He cried out and in his surprise dropped both Cloud and Prim's pokeball and Huey, from his crouched position, didn't even think as he scrabbled for both. Pain wasn't even to dissuade him from retrieving his pokemon.
He snapped the pokeball back in place and in the same motion whipped out Beep's pokeball to promptly return him. Cloud toddled towards him slowly, only to be stopped by the Manetric, he'd almost forgotten about him. He puffed out his cheeks and looked at Huey who was just a few feet away, then to the obstacle in his way. He sent a psychic wave, directly at its mind, and watched as the canine buckled, swayed and fell over to his side. From there Cloud hopped over the incapacitated and ran into Huey's open arms.

Once he had Cloud safely back in his arms and the rest of his pokemon returned and tucked securely onto his person Huey began to look for an escape, his eyes darting around desperately to try and find an exit point. It wouldn't be too difficult, what with the hunter still blind to the events around him. His screams were muffled by the furry body of the Emolga who stuck to his face like glue, its tiny claws, like razor blades, tearing into his face. Huey couldn't find it within himself to muster up an once of sympathy, in fact he hoped the little squirrel scratched his eyes out. Without another word he turned away from the forest justice to begin searching for the Skarmory, who had undoubtedly heard her master's cries of distress.
Surprisingly enough, when he did manage to spot the giant bird he saw that she was only now disengaging from the tree but quickly made a beeline for her trainer in an attempt to assist him, and gave a cry to alert him of such. The hunter froze, save for the odd spasm of pain, and in one fluid motion grabbed the back of the Emolga's neck and ripped it off his face, grunting as chunks of skin was torn off. He arched his arm back, taking the pokemon by surprise, before he chucked it into the air and in the path of Skamory before he went to cup his face.
Skarmory caught it in her claws and squeezed down on it before she spun once, gaining power, and threw it against the base of the tree, where it hit with a thud before it fell to the ground, unconscious. With the pest now out of the way and her trainer still nursing his various wounds she turned her attention to Huey, who flinched, before she folded her wings in to begin a dive, her red eyes narrowed with malice. Huey began to tremble, fear cementing his feet to the floor, but turned his body so that he could still try to protect his pokemon. Cloud, on the other hand, was far more responsive than his trainer and stretched his mouth into a small 'o', yawning, and waited for the effects.
Skarmory wobbled as she yawned, her eyes narrowing to the point of closing before they snapped back open. Irritably she shook her head, only to find herself tilting and throwing off her own trajectory. Before she could correct herself a wave of drowsiness overtook her and the steel bird crashed into the ground, fast asleep. Huey stood there in shook, his mouth open with surprise, before a nudge from Cloud reminded him of where he was. "R-right," he stuttered and returned the Togepi to his pokeball before he gave one last look around, where he took notice of the Emolga. It had inadvertently saved him, and now lay unconscious on the ground with a bruise on its head; it didn't seem right just to leave it there.
Acting quickly Huey caught it, with plans of releasing it once he'd left the forest and gotten Nurse Joy to look at it, and spared one last look to the hunter, who was thankfully ignorant to all the events that had passed, before he ran off in the direction of Castelia.

When the pain subsided and his wounds, for the most part, had stopped bleeding the hunter pulled his hands away and blinked in the light. What he expected to see was the Emolga down, his prize reclaimed by Skarmory and the blonde brat hurriedly pulling out the rest of his pokeballs. What he saw, instead, was a comatose bird and an unconscious Manectric with its tongue lolling out of his mouth, no kid and no Emolga. Through gritted teeth he hissed and cursed, only to wince as the expression caused pain to tear through his newly scarred face. Forcing himself to calm down he returned his pokemon and began to look for signs of where the child could of gone next, grumbling throughout the entire time. If he could catch up to him fast enough he could knock him out and then take his pokemon, which was what he should've done in the first place. While he contemplated just what sort of pain to inflict upon the child he dug around for a few new pokeballs, with his main two out of commission he'd have to resort to his back-up team.

Still tired from his earlier run Huey didn't make it far before he had to stop once more, his breathing haggard and heart threatening to revolt and burst from out of his chest. The sound of his own wheezing and gasping sounded pathetic, even to him. But, his own condition wasn't what was important right now, right now he needed to focus on finding the rest of his pokemon and booking it back to Castelia to have his pokemon checked out and then report this to Officer Jenny.
Huey prepared himself to begin moving again when something rustled, and the boy instantly froze. He took a deep breath, preparing himself for another panicked run, only to stop when Rags appeared from the bushes, aggravated and plucking leaves from off of his body. The poor thing was blindsided by the hug he was swept into, and was so caught off guard that he began to squirm away to try and prepare an attack before he realized who it was. "I'm glad I found you," Huey breathed and even when he pulled away he made sure to hold onto his hands. Rags tilted his head, unsure of what the excitement was for, before his eyes widened at the sight of the purple bruise on his trainer's cheek.
"Oh," noticing his pokemon's blatant staring Huey gingerly pressed a hand to his cheek, only to wince. "This? It's nothing, I'll tell you later. We should go find the others." He was far more worried about the location of his other pokemon than he was by a little bruise. Sure, there'd be some swelling and a bit of discoloration, but it'd heal.

After a bit of questioning Huey was disappointed to find out that Rags had no clue where Yuki and Dianna were, which meant that he'd have to start up a blind search with the occasional whisper-call. It would be a long process, and he didn't have the luxury to take his time on this. No doubt that hunter was still out looking for him, not to mention he had told his pokemon to rendezvous at the big tree, which just so happened to be the last spot he'd seen the hunter. So, yeah, now certainly wasn't the time to take a stroll through the forest.
Huey started out at a brisk stride, the only pace his weary body could handle currently, and kept a hold onto Rags as he walked; it was paranoia that made his grip so unnecessarily strong, but the pokemon didn't voice a complaint. The two, stopped, however, when they came across a Bellossom. Although it was a grass-type, Huey didn't think it was a native of Pinwheel Forest, which instantly set him on edge. It didn't help that, upon catching sight of the two, Huey specifically, the pokemon took to charging at them--even if it was intimidating, there was still a sort of elegance to its moves. Rags, however, only took one step back in fear before he bolstered himself up and went in to intercept the hula dancer.

Rags brushed himself off after the battle and gave the fainted Bellossom only a dismissive glance before he turned to look curiously at his trainer. Huey looked back at him before he squinted and guiltily turned his head, choosing to march on ahead instead of discuss the matter at hand. Rags, after hiking up his loose skin, followed after him without a word.
The two hadn't traveled far, however, when a shadow fell overhead and Huey, sensing danger, hopped back several feet to just narrowly miss the landing of a Cascoon. The nearly immobile pokemon wasn't necessarily heavy, but when it was dropped, out of nowhere, several feet from the sky it became a little more dangerous than a pinecone falling from the sky. While Huey pondered just how the pokemon had even managed to become air-borne Rags took the initiative to battle it, finishing off the red-eyed pokemon with a Headbutt.

No sooner had Rags defeated Cascoon then a Turtwig came wobbling into view, its eyes locking onto Huey before it gave a fearsome cry and began its charge. It didn't get two steps, however, before Rags rushed it and sent it flying onto its back with an Ice Punch to the chin. After his flawless victory he pounded his fist into his open palm, a wide grin stretching across his face. He'd noticed recently, how strong he'd become, and couldn't help but to nod his head in approval. Of course he was! He was, after all, the great Rags.

Rags was more than ready, some might even argue thrilled, for the next pokemon to come, so much that he didn't wait for it to come to him and went running off aimlessly, managing to find, and flawlessly, defeat the Lunatone he took by surprise by sheer luck. It was a tactless plan that was bound to fail at some point, but for now it did the job; that job, executed perfectly, was to keep Huey save.
It didn't take much time for the two to reunite, Huey had been right at Rags' heels when the latter ran head, and once they found themselves in a more open area the boy relaxed long enough to begin thinking. It was obvious that those pokemon hadn't been random or wild, the quick, rapid-fire, succession in which they arrived only showed that they belonged to a trainer, more specifically the hunter; they'd all stopped to confirm his presence before attacking as well, their trainer must've given them a description of him.
He rubbed his forearm and swallowed heavily. The idea that that man was close by sent a chill down his spine and caused him to become just a tad paranoid, when he thought he heard footsteps he jerked his body violently in a random direction, his heart jumping into his throat, but stopped the second he realized Rags was no longer right beside him. Forcing himself to calm down Huey did 360, locating the yellow pokemon once the world had stopped spinning. He hadn't gone too far, just a few feet away and still within sight, and quickly jogged back to Huey when he noticed his panicked expression.
"Scraggy," he murmured sheepishly and patted the boy's stomach comfortingly. This was exactly what pokemon did, comfort their trainer when in dire times of need just like this one, and this is exactly what he'd do! Even if... even if he had no idea what or who caused such fear in his trainer, that wasn't important! Neither was the fact that his knees were now beginning to tremble and knock together.

Underneath Rags' watchful eye Huey took several calming breaths, and kept his mind occupied by allowing his fingers to fiddle with the hem of his shirt. "Let's move away from here," he instructed once he was of sound mind and began moving away from the battle area, it was likely that the hunter would come for his pokemon soon and it was in their best interest to be at least a few miles away from the area when he did. If luck was on their side they might even run into Yuki or Dianna-- or if Lady Luck was truly feeling truly sympathetic, both at the same time--
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty minutes passed without incident, the two keeping a steady pace the entire time. Maybe it was because they had gone off the path, but the forest was much larger than he'd originally thought. It was certainly different from the Ilex forest, the forest of his home region; which, he remembered depressingly, he'd also managed to get lost in. It was time to start avoiding forest entirely, nothing good came from traveling through them.
This game of Persian-and-Rattatta wasn't good for either of them, however, and whenever Huey started to feel a rise of panic or jumped at a sudden forest outburst he froze, and grabbed onto Rags to cling to as if his life depended on it. The bear-hug always managed to drive the oxygen from his scrawny body, but Rags never complained-- at least not out loud. As far as he saw it he was doing his duty as a pokemon, and in this particular situation that 'duty' just so happened to branch out into becoming, a Scraggy-shaped teddy bear.
Whenever the sound died away and no one stepped out from the greenery Huey's grip lessened, and Rags was allowed to breathe. Huey, observing the deep, gasping breaths his pokemon took, apologized quietly and pat the pokemon's head before he started walking again.

Another ten minutes passed without a sighting and Huey felt his spirits further dampen, unable to help but feel a little hopeless and a little more helpless. He turned to Rags to try and gauge his views on their current situation, as well as any opinion he might have on what to do next, when a voice spoke out, shattering the silence of the forest and whatever false sense of security he'd managed to delude himself with.
"Oi, brat!" the voice echoed throughout the forest, its echo making it difficult to pinpoint its location; but he was close, painfully so. "Give it up already, there's nowhere you can run." Huey gulped and squirmed in place, and just like that Rags found himself back in his trainer's arms, the oxygen being driven from his body. "Don't make this harder on yourself, I've got more pokemon and unless you really want to get hurt you'll give me yours now."
Even though he couldn't see the man the blonde began to shake his head fiercely and did his best to keep his trembling to a minimum. He took a breath, something Rags was slowly beginning to envy, and did the only thing he could do, run, taking a chance to flee in a random direction and simply hope it wasn't the same one the hunter was in.
