((Guys I'm pretty sure that it's one geode per number group (ie 1-5) save for area 4 and so Area 2, Area 6, and Area 7 are out of geodes. Area 1 and 5 have one geode left and I think Area 3 pretty much has all of them left. Mythee would know for sure but that's what I got from the rules.))
Corbin watched as his pokemon continued to break up rocks. They weren't having any luck finding any more geodes.

Corbin was beginning to think they may have to head back down. Maybe there weren't any more geodes up here. Something told him there was at least one left for him to find.

Still nothing. Valkyrie was becoming irritated again at her lack of finding geodes. Aaron was simply getting tired. Corbin called for another water break so his pokemon could rest some.

After the break Corbin allowed his pokemon to continue breaking rocks. Hm... maybe they could do a mock battle here later. Valkyrie should be close to evolving.

After all this time Corbin finally realized that there was a distinct lack of pokemon up here. He frowned wondering what happened to them. Surely this was a good home for some Geodudes or Gravelers.

Noticing a lack of rocks Corbin moved to a different spot in this area. He found a good pile of rocks and pointed it out. His pokemon (mainly Valkyrie) descended upon them in a rush.

Corbin picked out a rock for Aaron to break and another for Valkyrie. He thought that one of them might be a geode. Turned out neither was.

Valkyrie decided her trainer didn't know what he was doing. She wasn't going to listen to him anymore when it came to which rocks might contain geodes. She was better off trusting her own judgement. Too bad her judgement was just as bad as Corbin's in this aspect.

Aaron was content to listen to Corbin's advice and to also stick close to the man. He really didn't like being too far away from him. The wind picked up a little causing him to grab his hat. He couldn't have that blow away. Once the wind died down he broke another rock.

Area 5: Mountainous Rocks"Hey Valkyrie. Break this one open!" Corbin called tossing a small-ish rock at her. Valkyrie caught the rock and looked it over. Surely it was too small to be a geode. She scoffed at her trainer but broke it open. And there it was. A geode. She crowed in triumph (never mind it had been Corbin who picked the rock) and all but flaunted it in Aaron's face. Take that!Corbin decided that this area had suffered enough devastation and herded his pokemon back down the path.  Moving to: Area 1: Outside the Volcano

Back down at the bottom of the volcano and outside of it too, Corbin decided it was time for a good rest. One with food. He busted out the small stash of food he kept on him and passed it out to his pokemon.

After some time had passed Corbin decided it was time to get back to work. His pokemon looked refreshed and ready to go. He headed towards the path that led into the volcano so they could work somewhere in there.

Now inside Corbin tried to decide: should they work here or find a way to go deeper inside. He eyed the lava warily. He didn't want to run into those Slugma again.
