What is specifically happening on the marketplace that you think we need moderators for? There has been talk here and there from users randomly asking about artificially inflating items. I've seen quite a few people asking about it in cb last week alone. Heck, this week in the prequestions for this ats we had someone ask if it was against the rules to get together as a group and raise the prices of an item. People are talking and its concerning. Can't say for sure if its happening, but people are talking about it so it'd be only a bit of time :'3 totally not the person who asked, my bad. But I just wanted to put my own two cents in... Probably best to contact a moderator with that information and then we can review the information in question and see if we can do anything. You promised us no more gold gens - and this is absolutely a gold gen. What is your explanation for this promotion? Maintaining a reasonable economy had been our goal with the elimination of gold gen and the new Platinum currency system. We would never do anything that would jeopardize our efforts, and ruin the Gaia user experience. Goldgens are harmful as they they gave an unreasonable amount of gold over amount of GCash spent, and provide a overwhelmingly high advantage to funders to gain gold much easier than buying and selling GC items, and inflating the market along with it. The promotion for Mix10 is a sponsorship that in its essence do not come close to providing the amount of value to anyone who spend GC and sell items for gold in the marketplace, and the volume of gold granted from the sponsorship is a fraction of the average gold earned on Gaia. Please be assured that we monitor these promotions very carefully and we would make major adjustments if they pose any threats to the stability of Gaia's economy.

Quote: Features (Guilds)My guild has accumulated a total of 18 platinum (as per the homepage), but our guild announcements only cost 5g to send out (as of now); also, you can now set the entry fee for new members in platinum, but even if we put it at 1 platinum and admit one new person, the homepage still reads that we have 18 instead of 19 platinum. Is there any way that we could get this streamlined? This is a great opportunity for a gold-sink, especially for guilds with tons of members, frequent announcements, or both. Many thanks! Whoops we jumped on developing for the Christmas event, I'll check with the team and see if we can finish that feature first. Lanzer Eternally Gone Items - MPWould you guys ever consider giving users the ability to buy multiple items at once on the MP? For example, I'm currently collecting the Beyond set - while I'm grateful there are multiple listings, it's a pain the butt to buy them one at a time. Would this even been possible at all, even in the future? Yeah we have plans for shopping cart for both the regular shop and MP. Hopefully we'll get to these features in the near future.

And two, I've seen an item go from 40b to 1b in one day. There needs to be a system that keeps items that have depreciated to 1b or lower out of spinami for good. Can something be done about the huge depreciation? Perhaps adding some large-pool-rigs to the wheel would help keep so many of the same items dropping in just one day? It's a new features that also has new items introduced, hopefully we'll have the rarity aspects managed in a bit.

At the same time we don't want to trash our items, we want to give our items to other gaians who needs or wants them. Can you make it possible to give items away for free on the Marketplace? This wouldn't be an issue if you have switched over to Platinum, which we highly recommend. Otherwise you can also donate items for free using the "donate item" function which will send it to Dumpster Dive

January 9th, 2018: Lanzer jerkin 2 ur text replies Features - Marketplaceis there ever a possibility of the market getting an update to feature an option to weed out "items already owned" (same as the option to sort out the unlisted item). as an item collector, i tend to forget what i own sometimes & it'd be super easy to just click that as an option when browsing the market! That is a good idea. Let me look into it. The tricky part here is that some people have A LOT of items in their inventory, so doing so might slow down the page load.

Can someone take a look? Hi there, Which page are you referring to as being broken? What are the steps that you are using to try to delete items from your list? https://www.gaiaonline.com/account/wishlist/ Everything appears normal. I click the boxes next to the items I want to delete, hit save, the screen refreshes with the items still there. Same thing when I try to move items to different positions - I drag the item to where I want it, and then hit save, and they're all back where they originally started. I've tried the "Delete all items you already own" button, and it doesn't do anything. Like a bunch of unwrapped (or wrapped would be cool, too) gifts? We could add a refresh button. Though it would be nice to get real time updates on things like these. Having a second option to gift vs trade can be done, though the trading code is pretty old and I don't know if it might end up being a big time sink. The new site header was supposed to be fully capable of real time refresh, and if other pages are written the same way then everything would update in real time. Unfortunately converting all the pages would be too big of a project.

It shows items available when none are, show the cost of the items (if its there) at a much much much lower price than is being offered, frustrating when I think "hurray" they have some and there's none there. There's a timed job that scans the marketplace to produce the front page results. I'll check and see if there are any problems that might be causing a lag.
