Whatever friendly feelings she had toward Kennet quickly melted into the mud when he too opened his smart mouth. "If you wanted him safe stupid you wouldn't have brought his smartmouthed self to a camp aimed to strike at his nation. If this conversation had started with "Now just a moment he is not a threat to us." It may ...may mind you have ended differently.
He insulted her brother he insulted her and later she would understand why but right now the powder in her mind started to burn again, she strode forward and hit the barrier as well, she looked at Ruelash with confused eyes and saw him badmouthing the mage. A barrier, well that was neat! She resented it impeding her but she wished she could make one all the same.
Thats what that bonk sound had been! Ruelash had hit the barrier too. Thinking of her partner she reverently picked up his blade and held the hilt out to him waiting for him to turn. Blades were almost spiritual to their particular personality type and deserved respect and to be returned when they could. She would not use it herself without his express permission. It was somewhat the same as stealing someone elses underwear but less icky.
Iroia eyed the mage, probably a good thing he was here really. She heard Antiope's voice ring out. Mission? Weapons? Mission and Weapons? "Ruelash," she hissed, "we need a confirmation that the two viper tongues are on our side, then we can get to shredded evil people's hides."

Ime - post 3
Why was she not surprised? Ime sighed and gave the boy a sideways smile that clearly said he should have asked for permission, but they both knew that. What had happened had happened intentionally.
"Well, it sounds like your Momma is going to have to go out soon, so maybe we should go back to Daddy," she said, "but I'm glad you found me! This camp is really big, isn't it? I got lost in one when I was about your age... or no, it as more of an adventure than getting lost." She winked at the little boy. Sauron must be worried about him, and with the battle preparations beginning it would not be safe for a child to be wandering. "What do you say, should we go look for him?" She was already leading him out of the tent, though, in the hopes of finding him someone familiar, at the very least. He didn't need to be here if a scout came back wounded. Still, her voice was calm and happy. If she could avoid the boy seeing what she had seen, she would try.

Nyiim - post 2
So the time was fast approaching, was it? He watched the woman move off. Well, he already had his bow and he was confident that he and his companion could be quiet. Of course, the raptrix may be doubted in that respect, but it would be wrong to not offer. He came to the woman and offered a polite half-bow.
"I believe that I could be of assistance."
How odd to think that a year ago he had barely even known that the other races existed, and now he was swallowed up in them.

Kiyelt stood there a little stunned when his sailscale screeched bloody murder at the other one. Still not quite thinking properly he did manage to nab Norcrest. Kiyelt had a feeling he was protecting Iniu who didn't give a flying fart. Males were nice to her, she was a girl.
Kiyelt blinked at his audience then blushed furiously, tucking his sailscale under his arm and rubbing his leg where the goat had gently headbutted him, which was a nice change. He eyed Icewalker warily. Would he be trusted now that she had kissed him? She had kissed him....YAY!
He grinned happily while Norcrest chewed lightly at his arm, not wanting to hurt his iceling friend but wanting to finish his manly buisness. He growled unhappily.
Kiyelt patted him. "No fighting for you," he scolded. "Until the appropriate time anyway and you need to fight the oban's critters not ours."
"Eheh, sorry Mella, guess its close to breeding season maybe? Or shes going into heat."
Iniu waved her wings at the boys coyly. "Naughty girl Iniu." He scolded her too. "Yelena keep a good hold on her, you have the catalyst of these two." He peered down at Norcrest. "Don't make me get the muzzle again, we both don't like it."

LUCIJAH Post 4
xxxxNear edge of the camp >> Sleeping Tents
Lucijah continued her bluff, her chin raised in the very picture of confidence. But her body was tense in nervousness, and she expected him to not care about her claim. In the end, however, the man decided it was too much effort to argue - and wondered off. His parting words however made Lucijah's breath inhale, sharply. She watched him as he left, eyes narrowed into slits, before she finally turned back to Nera.
It was a risk, carrying her lover when she was an Oban in the middle of camp - but she hoped as long as she was tethered, no one would overly question it. "Just a little longer, amberling." She said, quietly, her heart breaking at the quiet sobs. She reached for the knife she kept in a bag tied at her thigh, pulling it out and maneuvering behind Nera. It was impossible to work the blade into the tight bindings, so she had to carefully saw at the ropes, cutting through them until they fell away - though it risked cutting into Nera's wrist, if only slightly. Once the ropes were removed, she stared at the raw mess of skin, but realized she couldn't do much about it.
Instead, she removed the blue cloth that she wore at her hips, pulling Nera's wrists foreward, infront of her, and tying the cloth around them, tight enough so they looked secure, but Nera could tell they were loose. Only then, with Nera bound once more, did Lucijah carefully lift her into her arms, a muscled arm hooking under the girl's knees, the other supporting her back. Her height was an advantage in this case, as she hefted the girl with ease, carrying her in the small alleys the lines of tents created, until she reached the sleeping tents that were erected for the battlers and their families. Peeking in, it took a while to find an empty tent - but eventually she did, and instantly deposited the Oban on the cot, pulling the cloth free and kneeling infront of her to examine her wrists.
Only for a moment, though. As if remembering herself, Lucijah tossed a weak, apologetic grin up to Nera, then stood and moved to a barrel full of water that had been set in the edge of the tent. There was probably one in every tent, just to make sure everyone who assembled had the basic supplies necessary. There was even a wooden serving basin, which she used to gather the water, before moving back to Nera, holding the spoon out for her so that she could either lean in to drink, or use her hands if they weren't too injured.

Jacinthus - ranger Location: With Keilana, heading over to Antiope. Post: 3
Jacinthus gave a bt of a smile as she told him that she thought that he was the enemy, "As if those Oban cowards would come skulking around here and end up unnoticed." He said, giving a half shrug before he looked in the direction that he knew them to be in, his eyes narrowing ever slow slightly. How he was looking forward to raining down arrows on the lot of them and their beasts, he'd make sure that they weren't able to take any more land then they already had. Jacinthus was tired of losing, a feeling that was probably the same for everyone present in the resistance camp. How he looked forward to turning the tides on them.
Glancing over at Keilana he gave a bit of a snort, "Almost grown men? They are brats and you know it, but that's alright. Even despite growing up in a time like this one at least they were able to enjoy being little." Something that he felt that Keilana and himself hadn't been able to do. The lose of their parents had made things more complicated, forcing them to grow up faster then a normal child might. He could only hope that the twins wouldn't end up feeling that same sort of loss. Looking off toward where the Oban camp was he said, "Let's hope that, if you are right about them, that they stay put there for a while. I'd much prefer that they not participate in the battle to come. The Obans have changed their strategy up and it's not one that I care for." From what he'd gathered they seemed far more focused on capture then killing, enslaving their enemies and taking them back to camp. Not a scenario he wanted for any member of his family.
"I am glad that you are fine, Little Kei." He said, one ear giving a little twitch before he said, "I am hoping that Takoda is still at the Healer Tents. It would be good if he remained there, seeing to the wounded instead of considering joining the battle. We have a daughter now and I'd much rather he stay with her." Maybe that would be a way to get Takoda to stay still, to remind him that he needed to tend to Korra to keep her from getting lost. He loved the girl but he'd bet anything that she'd somehow manage to get lost if someone didn't keep tabs on her. Puffing up a bit at her accusation he said, "I did nothing to him! That idiot was the one that..." He trailed off, considered his words, then seemed to try to figure out what it was that he should say. Crude, he should have just said he hadn't seen him.
Sighing he said, "Ahh, that is... you see..." He trailed off, jerking his head to the side, then said, "Ah! Seems the Elder Antiope is calling for help, maybe we should see what's up." He said, turning on his heel to hurry in that direction, wanting nothing more then to change the subject as quickly as possible.

Aysun - prentice Location: The Big Lizard's Cage, chatting with Chandra, Takoda, & Korra Post: 4
"Ehh... you could be right about that one." Aysun said after a moment of deliberation. He could only imagine the look on their mother's face if he were to bring home something like this giant lizard. She would be more then displease, of that he was certain, but who could say no to an adorable face like the one that the big beast had? Not Aysun for certain! He could never hate something so wonderful! If anything he wanted to give it all sorts of hugs and as many treats as he could fetch for it!
Turning to Korra he seemed to think about it before he said, "Well, maybe not steal, how about... liberate into my care so that he can join the rest of my animal army? I think that sounds better." He told her before he looked over at Chandra as he snapped his book closed. Giving a dramatic gasp he pointed at Chandra and declared to Korra, "Look, little cousin! There is a sight that you may never see again in your life time, that... that is Chandra's face NOT buried in a book! Oh, I'd heard stories such a thing existed by I never thought that I would see it with my own eyes!" He lifted his hands to his mouth, giving another gasp as though in complete awe of the sight that they were beholding... before he gave a chuckle, turning his attention to his uncle once more.
"Hm? Ahhh, gathering everyone up, huh? Well good luck with keeping Dad and Uncle Jacin from butting heads like a couple of capramel." He said, certain that if anyone could do it that it might be... well, Aysun and Chandra's mother, but Takoda could try too. Giving a laugh he nodded at the 'secret information' that he was given, "I will keep it in mind."
Hearing his name called out in such a joyous sort of way Rishima turned slowly to look toward the one who had a hand on his shoulder, his antennae giving a little twitch, before he said, "I figured that you were going to appear soon." If nothing else Gerraden was as consistent in following him around as Rishima's own shadow was, meaning that keeping an eye on him in such dangerous times was made a whole lot easier. Reaching his free hand out he rested it on Gerraden's shoulder, a thoughtful sort of look on his face before he dared to ask, "You... are you voluteering for this mission as well?" He would much rather he didn't, he found himself even debating over whether or not he could pull rank on him and order him to stay here to do something... safe. Maybe guarding the Healers or maybe just helping hand out the supplies as that other hybrid boy had been doing.
His mismatched eyes locked on Gerraden for a moment and he opened his mouth, as though he were about to try at giving him an order... when he spotted someone else coming toward them. Rishima's mismatched eyes went wide as he spotted his sister who he hadn't seen for a while, far longer then he'd like, "Ah!" Giving Gerraden a pat on the head Rishima then broke away from him, hurrying over to Jerarda, the various things in his hair clinking together as he went, "Jerarda!"
Closing the distance between himself and the taller woman he stuck his weapon into the ground so that he could wrap both his arms around her, "It's been too long, I've missed you, Sister!" He said, smiling up at her happily, glad that he was able to see her again. Again, this was another moment where he found himself worrying, knowing full well that Jerarda was going to be getting into the thick of things. Like Gerraden he doubted that there was anyway he could hold her back and keep her where it was safe either... so maybe the three of them could at least stick together so that he could keep an eye on them both? If sticking with them and protecting them was the best that he could do, since them staying behind wasn't an option, it was something he'd be willing to do if they were.

Pidgeons Go Meow X3
Eira - Dancer Location: With Viveka and her troupe Post: 3
Eira looked over at Borra a moment, giving him a smile, and half wanted to pet him on the head given that he was looking a bit on the woozy side. Poor little Borra, he really was so cute and and so soft! It made her wonder if that was why Gyuri was so head over heels for him? It was rather possible but for Eira she saw him more as another little brother then a love interest in the manner that Gyuri did. It was what made her worry for him and want to keep him near to their bodyguard since the big man would be only too happy to take good care of Borra, of this she'd bet anything.
"He's a singer if I recall right." She said, glancing over at Viveka, "A singer, right?" She wanted to make sure, either way it would be useful as far as musical entertainment went, "I bet the two of you could put on a fine show to entertain our guests." She said, clapping her hands together happily at the mere thought, "I can't wait for this war to be over so that we can get back to our normal lives, I don't know about the lot of you but I look forward to having Lyriala as my biggest enemy instead of the entirely of the Oban population." Hell if she would let one of those fools think for even a moment that she would become a slave for them. Ha! She was far too much of an alpha type for that sort of thing.
Turning to Sinny she seemed to think on the question a moment, looked around, and sighed, "I am starting to think that we really need to get him a bell. He wanders off far too much, as if he is invincible just because he has gotten better as using his magic to navigate." She said, crossing her arms under her ample chest and gave a huffing sound, "We should probably see about finding him before the battle starts."
As if to give them an idea of what was going on she heard a female voice calling out, talking about distributing weapons to those he didn't have anything. She quickly glanced between Gyuri and Sinny, making sure that they appeared prepared, before she continued to listen in. So they were gathering the quiet, stealthy types to go on a mission was she? Eira gave a thoughtful sound before saying, "Might not be the best thing for you, Gyuri, you don't exactly read stealthy." He wasn't exactly built for stealth in her opinion but more over she wanted him to stay with them, to keep the group safe in case any Oban was foolish enough to come here looking to start something. She could only hope that Gyuri, with all his muscle and intimidation factor, wasn't drafted to do some other mission. If that happened she wasn't quite sure what she might do... likely end up relying a lot more on Sinny, Makani, and their flashy magic no doubt. Meaning they should find her brother sooner then later.
Gyuri - Guard Location: With Viveka and the troupe Post: 3
Gyuri couldn't help but to look concerned as Borra leaned into him, looking a bit on the ill side. Should they bring him to the healing tents to be looked at or the sleeping tents for some rest? He might very well need to sit down and just out in the open might not be the best place to have him settle down. Instantly he wanted to do just that, to scoop Borra up, and carry him somewhere that he could sit down, or lay if he preferred, and rest up. Not as though he could do that exactly. He knew that Sin'qua had her magic but if Viveka was counted that would be three others without any sort of power to fight. He couldn't very well leave the three of them with just one bodyguard in Sin'qua. He'd have to stay and keep an eye on everyone.
At the mention of Makani and his currently location he found himself realizing that the whole of the troupe wasn't really accounted for without the blind mage. They really should see about finding him so that they could keep him safe as well. Things would be so much easier if this were Eira's dream inn instead of a war camp... at least if it was the peaceful place that Eira spoke of then they wouldn't have to fret over anyone who wasn't right in their line of sight! He couldn't run off to find Makani though since again he had a lot of people here that he needed to look after... so what to do? Maybe they could seek him out as a group? That or he and Borra could go leaving Sinny to look after only two people instead of three on her own? He gave a thoughtful sound as he debated with himself what needed to be done about Makani. The only suggestion given thus far was by Eira who suggested getting Makani a bell. It was something that Gyuri instantly found himself thinking over in a serious manner. At least then he'd always know where the blond was at.
When Eira said that they should find Makani he gave a nod of his head then said, "We should." In complete agreement that they really should find the mage. Of course before they could head out to do so they were waylaid by the Shifter Elder giving out a call for people for a special mission... one that he didn't even consider going on, even without Eira all but telling him to stay put. He turned to look at her, giving a smile, and said, "My place is here." Unless he was ordered to go by some high ranking someone then he'd remain right here with the troupe, keeping them safe.

Vollerei : Warrior. Location: Supply tents post 3 (1/2)
Vollerei was a bit surprised to see Jerarda be.. so close to a non alkidike... but she had gotten slog with those half all boys hadn't she? While Vollerei had nothing against earthlings... breeding or being more than friends was not something she would ever do with them. Ikk.... So she concentrated on her food and hopped off the table to follow Jerarda when she left to approach Anitope. No comment from her on how weird she thought Jer's feelings for the earthling were.
Though she couldn't help but swallow the last bit of bread and clear her throat at the very enthusiastic greeting of the half breed she'd seen with Jerarda last battle. "You're ah.. very close to a lot of non or part alkidikes, Jerarda....." Volle wasn't, she tended to stick with her sisters or by herself.
Then she turned to face Antiope: "So what sort of plan have you got? I'm all for being a distraction and letting other's do the sneaky sneaky parts." She was good at sneaky sneak... in the jungle. Out here not so much

Keilana - massif Location: With Jacinthus heading over to Antiope Post: 3
Even with her hammer hefted back onto her shoulder to rest she felt like she should go back out into the forest, the mother in her wanted to go beat some sense into the Obans and make sure that her family was safe. And this included her idiot brother as well the father of her boys. Though she had some tribulations about leaving her boys back in camp she felt it would be much safer than if they had been left at home. At least here there would be many others that could help protecting them while she was not around.
She looked to her brother as he mentioned that he hoped Takoda had stayed put with their 'daughter'. It made her feel the butterflies in her stomach alight all over again. There was nothing wrong with the little girl and the fact the two men had adopted her per-say but she couldn't help but feel as if...that dream may not end well if any of her living relatives came to claim her. Still she couldn't dislike Korra, she was a sweet and inquisitive girl who was firmly attached to her brother.
"Knowing Takoda he wouldn't leave you out by yourself for long..." She trailed off as she then shook her head, after the last battle she could only hope the shifter was staying put. Though she gave her brother a firm raised eyebrow at his stuttering reply about Chalcedony.
"Was the one...that??" She pressed as she moved closer to her brother in a threatening manner, what had Chalcedony done? That idiot if he got himself killed she would never let his spirit rest. Noting how her brother was now immediately changing the subject and trying to distract her by talking and then hurrying off.
"Hey!" she called after him growling as she went to catch up, her free hand coming to grab her brothers shoulder. "Don't 'you see' me, what has Chalcedony done?" The woman demanded not wanting her brother to change the subject.
Chandra - prentice Location: The Big Lizard's Cage near his brother, Korra and Ikkio Post: 4
Chandra noted the look he was given even if he seemed to have his head back into the pages of the book he had read a hundred times before. He still couldn't completely the newcomer, some part of him wondering when Aysun had met this woman and felt a stab of jealousy. It wasn't that he wanted to make friends, but the fact his brother had gone out and done something without him felt almost a foreign concept. Aysun always seemed to be pestering him so it was hard to accept that he probably had made friends outside of himself.
Perhaps it was why put on an even icier expression, giving the new comber a rather could shoulder. "Mother will probably kill you for even being near the thing. She knows you too well Aysun...I am surprised she hasn't even come back to check on us. " He continued in a tone that indicated he wasn't particularly apart of the conversation, just making a snarky remark here and there...though paying enough attention despite 'reading' obviously to make such remarks.
Korra: Youngling Location: Near Chandra and Aysun and Ikkio Post: 4
Korra like most children was wide eye'd as the newcomer actually came to speak to her. Holding onto Aysun's hand as if to make sure she wouldn't get lost she gave the woman a smile. Giggling as she asked if she was a friend and shook her head, only to nod her head when Aysun answered the question for her. Cousin had a nice ring to it. Though unrelated by blood she was being taken care of as if she was. It warmed her heart and made her enjoy her new 'family' even more.
Looking back to the beast as Aysun quickly informed them they shouldn't tell Aunt Kei Kei about him petting the acidic drooly creature made her laugh out loud.
"But Ay you wanted to..l...lib...librate it. I could help hide it for you." She managed with bright eyes. The idea of having such a creature at home sounded like fun! Looking back to Ikkio she reached out her free hand to offer it to the woman.. Chandra was being his normally grouchy self so there was little point offering him a hand. "Don't you think? I think so."

Jerarda : Warrior. Location: Moving towards Antiope with Rishima/Gerr/Voll post 3 The pure blood half turned when she heard the jingle of trinkets clink and when she spotted Rishima her face broke into a warm and inviting smile. Gladly accepting Rishima's hug by wrapping her own arms around him in return. It was true she hadn't seen Rishima since the last major battle and she felt sorry for it. So many things had been on the warrior woman's mind, primarily involving the Dretch rather than Obans.
"Ah my sister, look at you!" She coo'd like a mother who was fussing over a fledgling she pushed Rishima back a bit to look him over. He looked so...much stronger. Pride welled in within her as she then roughly squeezed him again in a tight and vice like hug. She noticed Gerraden behind Rishima and couldn't help but smirk in his direction as she cuddeled Rishima. Though she didn't have romantic feelings for Rishima, Jerarda had noted Vollerie's comment and with a slight frown she pondered this. Yes she had gotten rather relaxed around non-pure blood alkidikes hadn't she? But Rishima was special to her, she had found him and helped him become what he was today a proud sister with rank. Gerraden may of been half a alkidike but she hardly felt much for him beyond teasing. It was so obvious his feelings for Rishima she felt that it was her duty to tease him.
"Vollerie, this is sister Rishima." Jerarda managed when she finally pulled herself away from the hybrid. She didn't consider Gerraden a sister as he wielded a giant sword and though when she was young she had fought against using traditional weapons she couldn't help but use that fact to put a mark against him.
Gerraden - Swordsman Location:Moving towards Antiope with Rishima/Gerr/Voll Post: 3
Gerraden had been smiling with Rishima had turned around, looking surprised and relieved he was there. Now if only they could be alone. Of course he realized there was a war going on, alone time wasn't exactly something that was going to happen. Still he nodded his head enthusiastically when the mission was mentioned. Of course he would go! If Rishima was going he had to make sure his love stayed safe.
"Yep! Can't let you have all the fun." He managed in an offhanded sort of manner, though he wanted to take Rishima in his arms he instead found his head patted and ....Rishima going to embrace another. Looking he felt his own heart drop...right...this Jerarda woman Rishima was so attached to. Though the hybrid always attempted to stay positive and make sure to treat everyone the same he couldn't help but feel...jealous and...pout with this one. Plus he couldn't help but start to dislike this woman who had pretty much made fun of the love nest he had attempted to build for Rishima and himself.
"Oh...hey there Je..." he started before the woman was then introducing Rishima to another alkidike. The young man looked around the pair to spot Vollerie and he noticed that Jerarda had failed to include him in this introduction. Was she trying to pick a fight?
"I'm Gerraden." He introduced after Jera had spoke, putting on his smile as he didn't want to give Vollerie the wrong impression.

"Guess you get out more than I do...." Volerei said as she stepped around her sister to get a better look at the half breeds. She'd seen them at last battle with Jerarda as well.... Might as well make small talk while I wait for orders or for Antiope to give us the plan, she thought to herself.
She couldn't see the one called Gerraden as an Alkidike... He was just.. too not her people. Too Shifter. That's not a sister at all! Slightly taller than her... but she bet she out massed him! Guess I'll just call him by name. The Rishma can be a sister though, if Jer accepts him tan I can too. "You are the ... clingy one aren't you? I recall seeing you being very clingy and overprotective last time I briefly ran into you at the last fight.." She said to Gerraden, they'd changed since then, down up, but... yeah. He'd been that odd ball who'd been a bit too clingy and overprotective of this Rishma if she recalled right.

Kelina had smiled at the younger girl and started making her way out towards the edge of camp as the girl was very talkative. Much like her own son Kresimir, he could talk someone's ear off if you let him. "My sister is Lasarra, a shifter-alkidike hybrid. And yes, I am an archer. I haven't been a very good one though, as I didn't help much in the last battle. But I've trained a lot since then, so I hope it'll help." She paused as she heard part of Antiopes speech. They needed volunteers huh? Well, she was fairly stealthy she thought, and a bow would be good for taking people out at a distance. The kids were safe with Sauron and if things started to go sour she would just come back quickly and tell them what she learned. Kelina made up her mind quickly and turned back towards the Leader's tents. "I apologize. It seems my skill set is needed. Please be safe." She was someone's daughter or sister or friend, and this was a war camp, all the younger ones needed to be careful. She stopped by the supply tents on the way and made sure she had more than enough arrows in her quiver and her bow was in top shape before heading out. She assembled with the small group that was forming outside the leaders tents. Seeing another archer, she positioned herself next to him. "Seems archers might be good for this mission, eh?"
Tafiir: Post 1/2 Location: Somewhere between the Supply Tents and the Commanders' Tent---> With Kauff
Tafiir grinned, "Sure, you can use it, but I gotta return it to his grave after the battle, so I need it back." Finally his father's death would be avenged... In a way. Tafiir knew that getting the sword into battle would mean it would be ruining more than a few Oban's day, and that was enough for him. Standing on his tippy toes, Tafiir offered the fur wrapped weapon over to Kauff.
It was a long sword crafted of the finest steel avaliable. His father spared no expense when it came to his weapon because it was his livelihood. the weapon was kept in pristine condition up until recently when it was placed at his memorial site after he was felled in battle.
Tafiir felt tears coming to his eyes. Handing the weapon over was harder than he thought it would be. Looking to the earth he kicked the dirt ran a hand across his nose, "I tied the items Pa used on the sword into the fur... Didn't have much time, so...." He trailed off and crossed his arms.
Smerdle
[ between the supply and commanders' tents ]
Well, that answered his question. As soon as he had moved away from the growing bustle of the supply tent, Kauff heard the tail end of their leaders' announcement, which... directed him back to where he had just been. He couldn't help but notice that no one appeared to be checking for any actual skill with the blades and staves that were being handed out, nor had there been any mention that any was necessary in the announcement. He turned, bending to face Tafiir as if they were sharing a secret.
"Hey, kid. Tafiir. I think I might be able to sneak into battle with your dad's sword after all. If I'm good enough for it."
