By doing best, it really meant Mintaka was standing there waiting for a really hard hit. Instead she felt air whooshing by her where Merlinite was trying to make it look like they were fighting. In that moment, she clearly understood that anyone looking at them would just assume excatly what it was. Her idea was stupid, and she was stupid for thinking of a stupid idea.
A couple of punches did hit her, but Merlinite wasn't trying to hurt her, so it wouldn't hurt like she thought. She held the spots he hit and opened her mouth. It was time to just leave Merlinite. And perhaps, she needed to reevalute the friendship she had with him. Because it was mostly her causing trouble for him. He was negaverser after all, sooner or later he'd remember she wasn't just a teenager, but a white court senshi and dangerous (even if she could never think of a reason to be).
"Origami Flurry*..." She held out her arms as the attack started to fall, like snow. "I'm sorry Merlinite, next time I won't let this happen." She smiled sadly at him, "Be careful getting out of here?" Her eyes drew to the battle with Painite and Camelot, and the sudden entrance of other negaversers. Vespa? The corrupt senshi was gone, along with the princess purifying him. There was no need for the battle to continue but it would. So she would leave like she originally planned, go home. Lament about her stupidity. As the snow of paper fell heavy, she took off, running towards the buildings and disappearing into the alleys.
Sailor Scout Attack: Origami Flurry
Mintaka summons over 250 small paper cranes and paper stars that blind in a flurry, lasting less than 20 seconds but can be pretty annoying. It acts more as a defensive distraction, by blinding an opponent, Think of snow as it falls, it gets quiet and heavy and as it starts...it builds and builds until all you can see is paper cranes and stars. (Occasionally there is a paper cut or too but overall its meant to blind rather than hurt.) Her range though is max 10ft from herself and can be deflected by air currents, gust of wind and covering her eyes. It's also ineffective if the enemy is out of range or moves out of range.

Camelot was here. Oenone and the Dark Mirror senshi had things under control with Mimisbrunnr. They were going to save her and be safe. Anabel and Snowball seemed to be stable and not too badly hurt, for the moment, and Ida, the Dark Mirror senshi, and Camelot seemed to have gotten the fight with Painite under control.
Hvergelmir was just crouching over to try and help Anabel when she felt herself hauled up and off her feet by arms that were much stronger than she was.
Being picked up and dragged backwards by the neck was a novel experience, and not a fun one. The arm around her throat was half-choking her, both from pressure and from the drag of her own weight as she was being pulled around; instinctively, Hvergelmir reached up to try and grapple with the General's arm binding her. Even weakened, Painite was stronger, though -- and her arm was gloved and clad everywhere Hvergelmir could reach, granting her no purchase with which to try and claw her way free.
"Just go!" she called to Oenone and the Dark Mirror senshi helping him with Mimisbrunnr, though not as loudly as she'd have liked. It was hard to breathe. "I'll be fine!"
If Hvergelmir had any real expectation of being fine, it wasn't because of any real certainty of her own ability to evade danger. No, it was the likelihood that, with this many knights and senshi about, someone would come to her rescue.
The only real weapon she had in her own arsenal was her knight magic. She was hesitant to use it while Oenone and Mimisbrunnr were still on the field, though -- and it was just as likely to piss Painite off as anything else. Right now, the General hadn't yet attempted to skewer Hvergelmir with her spear. The Cosmos knight wanted to keep it that way, at least long enough for her wounded friend to be carried out. She squirmed and struggled in Painite's grip, and tried to angle her face to bite Painite's arm, but held off on making any attempts to escape that were more serious than that. Better for Painite to be preoccupied with her than throwing spears at more people.

Eternal Thraen // Paved Walkways towards Grassy Area (West)
Imagination of the burning tar over the thinner, sensitive facial skin, let alone inside the delicate mucous membranes of nose or mouth, was more than enough already. Thraen didn't envy the snake general. A general who now had a name, courtesy of Alois.
Serpentine. Calling it what it is with that one, weren't we? Shouldn't Bischofite have some dealing with grouting you all together instead of tearing you all apart? A balm to constant pain instead of causing it? The model can't ring true always.
As much as he wanted to focus back on Zircon, on the Lieutenant (Galena), the prospect of an even more incapacitated General was too much a strategic boon to pass over. Thraen shifted forward to intercept again as the man was pushed from behind towards the tangling vines.
Like that is the only way to execute an enemy? Do you just want to daydream about that? Is that the S or M? Serpentine was distracted, not paying as much mind to the battle here instead of elsewhere. There was more loud vocalizations, but they were mixed in human rage and inhuman pain. It was the man's eyes that were striking as he tried to pull free- there was determination and desperation both there. A look that meant someone dear in trouble.
There are hearts on both sides. It gives no excuse or quarter to what they do, that they still have hearts beneath the black. Close quarters to the General might make Zircon hesitate to throw that ....thing again. That might just draw it into a lot more hand-to-hand...is that a good idea?
The Eternal threw an arm out, hoping to lock it around Serpentine's neck in a choke-hold.

Cpt. Titanlåvenite // Center Fountain: Main Fight
He had just enough time to pick a direction, Buddy, when he heard Bischofite's voice giving orders. Who let that one on the field?
He'd meant to just glance, but the Youma coming on and following orders, the hollow-eyed mask in the blurred chaos beyond it moving on, then more screaming and noise- Titan's expression turned to a severe frown. He belongs plucked in a cage.
He dodged the Youma's initial charge, just then noticing that there was ALSO an olive and white woman, brilliant red hair and sporting wings coming on him. "You're in the way."
Whip-bodied, many meat-legs skittering, the Youma doubled back on itself to lung again with its mouth. Rather than dodge, Titan caught the gaping mandibles and held them open and steady. His boots gave in slow increments sliding back over the ground. The Youma started thrashing to try to push into him and claim him. Its back body it is bigger than my hammer. Maybe it will catch her offguard. Or at least focus us both on it.

Maia had moved to intercept the youma and Athene had readied himself to move in after the red-haired eternal had cast her attack at it. The youma, as with pretty much all its brethren that Athene had had the misfortune to come across, was an ugly thing and he wondered to himself whether trying to go for the legs in an attempt to try and topple the thing over would be best whilst at the same time wishing that he'd thought to bring a stick with him back when he'd been over by the trees.
No point wishing, past is past he told himself as he watched Maia before tensing as another General-level aura arrived on the scene - that was until an accented German voice ordered the youma that he and Maia had been about to tackle away from them and told it to attack the huge Nega-Captain (Titan) that had just tossed the white-haired corrupt as if she was a match stick in the direction of the red and black clad Dark Mirror super senshi (Tantalus).
I know that voice. It sounds like Bischofite... He stared at the youmafied man. But Bischofite was most definitely human last time we crossed paths and I don't... His thoughts trailed off as the youmafied man, whoever or mayhaps more accurately whatever it was stalked towards the red-haired General.
He found himself puzzling over the youmafied man with the General-strength, even as Maia's voice snagged his attention back, nodding in her agreement of her assessment of the goings on at the fountain. All this chaos standing against chaos was making his head hurt and harder to track who it was he was supposed to be standing against. There was also the thought that for a purification attempt, it felt like a mess and he hoped fervently that Pasiphae and the Corrupted Eternal with her managed to make it towards where they needed to be.
Athene didn't immediately follow after Maia, but had instead tried to pick a target to try and trap, his intention being to try and at least temporarily incapacitate one of the Negas by the fountain and even things up on their side. Whatever his side was supposed to be - which to his mind was pretty much trying to keep those at the fountain from following after Pasiphae and the Corrupted Eternal with her.
He hadn't decided on an attempted target however until the huge Nega-Captain looked like he was attempting to shove the youma in Maia's direction. Narrowing his eyes Athene clenched his right hand into his fist and raised his left hand as he called out "Blue beads of Nazar – intenstated!" intending to send the beads that formed in the direction of what had to be the largest Nega-Captain he had ever come across, however there were so many people in that vicinity that it didn't quite happen that way. Although at least the beads were moving in the general direction of those by the fountain.
Attack launched Athene moved to catch up with Maia, intending to try and act as backup - especially as Camelot had left and moved towards some sort of clash near some tall trees.
Quote:
[Blue beads of Nazar – intenstated]: Athene’s super level attack takes the form of a ‘ball of beads’ that can trap a target with ill will towards either Athene or one of his allies in a barrier of beads if it connects. (Ill will means that the target wishes to cause some form of harm to either Athene or his ally). Target can still jump, block, or strike with their weapon - but they cannot leave the ring of beads. Beads can be smashed by someone outside the barrier, smashing half (24 to 30) will bring down the barrier. Duration: About thirty seconds (or 2 posts)
((Anyone by the fountain is free to intercept the attack, but the attack will 'fail' (the beads will fade away) if the attack hits someone without the necessary level of ill will))

Among the fighting in the park, there is suddenly a brilliant white light that emerges from a clearing in the nearby forest, its beams cascading between the openings of the trees and lighting up the park for a brief but spectacular moment.
It was clear that something had changed. A Chaos aura, that of an Eternal corrupted by Metallia's power, had disappeared, and a new Order aura had appeared in its place.
In the confusion, Eternal Vespa had purified...
((OOC: Vespa has purified, but the fight is not over yet! Mica has felt the power shift, and she is not pleased, nor will she leave this fight without someone's blood on her spear!))

"...What are you do- No! PUT ME DOWN!" Azurite shrieked as she was spun her hands shooting out to hold down (up?) her skirt. This was not happening. Not on top of all this stupidity. The white haired corrupt let out a scream as the Captain let go of her leg, sending her flying and crashing head first into Tantalus. "s**t!" She hissed in pain. That was it. ******** this s**t. Never again. Ever.
Growling, she rather forcefully disentangled herself from Tantalus and stood. She was so done with this. "Azurite Sphere Ripple" The corrupt growled, snapping her fingers at the Dark Mirror, not noticing the fluffy black mass of fur that had gotten caught in the tangle of limbs. The senshi didn't look back as left them and stalked over towards Buddingtonite and Bischofite
With a subtle snap of her fingers the air ripples in front of a person in a bubble effect that extends out ten feet around the person. Inside of this bubble the air starts to heat up and thin over thirty seconds. When the thirty seconds are ended, the bubble pops and the air returns to normal. The effect is also broken if the person walks out of the sphere.
Affects of thin air on the body: Headache is just the start. Symptoms of acute mountain sickness, or AMS, the most common mountain malady experienced above 9,000 feet, include nausea, dizziness and extreme fatigue. Sufferers also vomit, cough or have difficulty sleeping. AMS feels like the flu, seasickness or a bad hangover.

Clearly he was off to a fabulous start.
Alexandria whined, as he clutched his stomach. "...I guess it's too late to say I don't want any trouble???"
Apparently Niflhel was not a moment too late as he ran into the park seeing Painite grab Hvergelmir. "HEY! Pick on someone your own damn size b***h." He usually didn't use such words, actually Niflhel never used such language unless it was really called for. At this point, he felt it apparently horribly called for and the knight stood there with his chain in his hand.
He'd had dealings with Painite in the past and she was indeed a pain. He glanced over to the rest of the grouping. Someone had obviously been bleeding, he could see Snowball hidden under Mistral and "What in Saturn's name is going on?" Of course his eyes darted back to Painite who was fairly more important than the fact there was a whollllee lot of crazy going on and no apparent reason for such stupid acts. Well until that was a huge blast of white light. The knights brow lofted and sighed that didn't explain much but it apparently made some bit of sense. He really hoped there was more to this than just that.
There was also a small group around. . . was that s**t. More knights from Mistral's thing and one of them seemed fairly hurt which explained where the blood came from. The others seemed to be debating on moving her.
Snowball was still hidden under Mistral as his ears perked up. Well finally the knight showed up and in a rather unfortunate manner with his words. "Niflhel." He hissed "I swear such language. . ." He kept it so Mistral could hear him and not Painite. "Even if she does deserve such words. . ."

“I’ve met a few before.” Aludra had time to answer Hugbell as she dodged around behind the youma, her eyes going wide, impressed by the bear that had just been created. Not that she was sure what it would do, maybe would explode and cause some damage? Nope, as Liryn soon proved when he ran straight into the thing.
Darting in over, she took a defensive stance behind the cat, ready to scoop him up if the youma looked like it was going to charge.
“Be careful Massalia!” The chibi had taken the leap onto the youma and she was proud of him. She couldn’t seem to bring herself to get any close to actually hit or kick it herself.
“I’m going to find a weapon!” She announced to the group, before darting away back towards the tree, hoping to find a sturdy stick.

General Serpentine - Paved Walkways towards Grassy Area (West)
There were always consequences of distraction, and there was no denying that he had been distracted looking far away towards his goal location. Sudden movement drew his attention back towards his own flower-filled battle ground. Thraen, of course, taking action now that his magic had produced a fruitful harvest of targets. Serpentine brought one arm up reflexively to try and intercept the stangle hold to his neck. With his other, he aimed a punch for Thraen's ribs, attempting to strike his attacker. It was more desperate a strike than he would have wished, but the sneak attack from behind and the vines that continued to grip his boots both did a marvelous job in preventing him from taking more concentrated action or raising his whip.
Damn Vespa. Damn Thraen. Thrice damn Bischofite, who already had been damned twice before. The whip-bearing General's face and throat burned; his breathing came out in raspy, ragged gasps as his body tried to dislodge the last of the tar in his air passages. All he wanted was to get back to the fountain, back to Buddingtonite's side, and if the battle continued as it had... that would not happen. The prospect of failure enflamed him, an enraged snarl managing to escape his coated throat.
Where was the lieutenant and the captain who had been in the area with him? Why was no one offering support? What would it take for something to go his way?!
===
Horatio - Playground
The end result of her close forehead beam was that the youma gave a screeching howl of pain. Black dust began to spew from a wound, a weakening of the creature but not an end. It would be up to her current party to give the killing blow, however. Horatio sank to the ground, completely fatigued from using her attack.
But her mouth still went strong as she cheered them on, "GO GO GO!"

The giant egg made a clumsy splash into the fountain water, leaving a perfect egg yolk floating on the surface. If Megrez had the time to do so, she would have felt relieved by the fact that her eggs disappeared after a time and no one would have to ask about the egg yolk in the fountain. Of course, she did not have time to contemplate such a thing, as Mica had just grabbed her arm, causing her to stumble forward right into the fountain with an ungainly splash. She pulled her head out of the water, sputtered, and uttered some half-incoherent curses under her breath. Though it was yet another risky move, Megrez flailed a fist towards Mica, her aim rendered a bit off by the distraction of the water she was blinking out of her eyes. She was probably going to miss, but hey, a try would be better than nothing.
It was some damn fireworks show as the light of a Royal Crystal lit up the night, and he had little doubt it was Iris at work, even if he hadn't seen her leave the area, or who she'd purified. He was assuming it had been a success, but success or failure, it meant they needed to make sure the fight stayed here, at least long enough to let Ellie and her crew, and the hopefully newly purified retreat.
"GIVE THE BASTARDS HELL!" He roared, triumphantly, to anyone within ear shot. It was more encouragement than an order, he did not expect anyone to listen in this chaos, though he could give help to any other 'traitors' trying to depart in safety. like Bishophite or others, who he scanned the crowd for quickly.

Seeing Painite thrown by her attack was intensely satisfying, despite the nagging fear that her magic had lost some of its power since the glow had appeared. If it could still do this, then it was good enough. The point blank range was problematic though, one she rarely had to deal with since she usually attacked from farther away... and the explosion hit her too, shoving the eternal until she stumbled backwards, her hands thrown up to protect her face.
Hearing raised voiced, Ida looked up just in time to see a familiar knight club the general with his shield and send her crashing to the ground.
"Camelot! Thanks." She called. When the woman didn't move, Ida turned her attention to the group she had been protecting, glad that the page had begun the flight to the hospital that could very well save her life. There was nothing she could do for her now but hope and pray.
It was a bad idea to take her eyes off her opponent though, because before she realized what was happening, there was a sudden pull and energy burst from the eternal as though leaping free of her skin. Ida cried out as she felt Painite drain her and in the back of her mind she had a moment to wonder... was this what it was like to be drained? She'd never felt it before... and Painite must have been desperate, because she pulled so much of it... Ida struggled to hold onto her henshin as exhaustion bit at her, unresisting when Painite grabbed her and threw her into Camelot's arms. She stumbled and nearly fell, gripping Camelot's shirt as she struggled to get her feet under her.
Through a haze, Ida saw the general disappear and her eyes widened, struggling to see where she had gone. It was never a good thing when Painite teleported... and now was no exception. Terror gripped Ida as she shoved herself away from the Royal Knight, falling to her knees without her support.
"Hver!" She gasped out, struggling to get back onto her feet. Dang it, Painite! If I thought it would satisfy you and keep everyone safe, I'd let you kill me... this has to end! Desperation bit at the eternal, mixed with a sense of helplessness.
Bouncing into the magical deflating super teddy (as he had labelled, the first huge and then normal-sized teddy in his mind) hadn't phased Liryn for too long and after a little shake he had picked himself up just in time to catch Horatio use the kitty beam. Although Liryn had a kitty beam in him too, the little bobtail didn't follow up Horatio's beam with one of his own, instead he looked back at the green-haired chibi's (Aludra) mention of going to find a stick and offered cheerfully "Your friend had some earlier" adding "Or the tree might have some decent ones. I'll keep it busy whilst you find one."
Then whilst the youma was screeching he darted forward, keeping an eye to those legs around him so as not to get underfoot as he tried to swipe out at the youma with his claws.
Despite his mind being mostly focused on the youma, Liryn couldn't help but notice the bright white light that suddenly blazed from what looked like some trees further away, nor could he miss as suddenly a chaos aura winked out to be replaced by a new aura - that of an eternal senshi of the White Moon and he was glad, however whilst he would have very much liked to try and make his way towards the light, there was still a youma to take care off.
"Just a little more" he called out in between trying to dart in as he tried to once again swipe at the youma. "It's weakened - just a little more should be enough to take care off it once and for all."
Athene too had had noticed the white light that, for one brief moment had lit up the park and although he had never been in the vicinity of a purification before, the way that the chaos aura suddenly disappeared and was replaced by the strong, warm aura of a White Moon eternal senshi was enough to suggest that the purification had been successful.
Good for you he thought privately himself. Whoever you are.
A voice bellowing from nearby startled him - the source a blond Mars Knight with a bull shoulder ornament and Athene mentally scolded himself for his moment of inattention, brief as it was. After all the fountain still had three Generals by it - well make that four Generals, even if the fourth did (for whatever reason) appear to be attacking his own side.
I can't lose attention he reminded himself as he turned his attention back to the goings on around the fountain. Not here. Not here.

Zircon's head felt like it was going to explode.
There had been a scuffle, and a Lieutenant too willing to die. Serpentine. Thraen and his damned flowers. Zircon had known better to breathe in the sweet scent, but when she'd turned to warn Galena of its dangers she took in enough of the heady perfume to make her eyes droop. Her sharp pang of panic was enough to pull herself out of the immediate fray, but a moment later, she'd felt vines around her ankles, and suddenly the pavement of the little path park was rushing for her.
It was panic that woke the Captain, and despite the pain in her forehead she sprung from her fallen position on the ground, grabbing at her wrists and then her throat. Something had to be missing, something had to be broken; Thraen was not the sort to leave her whole after she'd been so vulnerable. But whole she was, and as the realization dawned on her she began to touch her face in confusion. How was she not dead? A quick touch of her forehead found the knot from when she'd collapsed on the pathway, but otherwise she was alive and well.
There wasn't much time to contemplate her apparent luck, not with the uproar of energies towards the center of the battle. Zircon turned just in time to feel the blinding sensation of Vespa's purification, and just as quickly jerked her head away, wrinkling her nose in distaste. The distant light washed over her senses, unwelcome and unwanted, the slimy clean sensation enough to make her grit her teeth. They had failed in their operation, then, let another traitor slip through. Let the senshi be blinded by his mewling ignorance, she thought bitterly, calling her weapon back to her hand. He can die just as easily as a member of the White Moon, where he belongs.
First, though, she needed to secure her allies, especially if Mica chose to call in a full-on assault on the fountain of light before them. Zircon couldn't find the lieutenant from before, but she did cast her eyes on Serpentine, covered in familiar-looking tar and still engaged with Thraen. Her first instinct was, of course, to run again, but Serpentine seemed to be losing hold, and there was no one else to help.
She exhaled, gathering her courage, then raced for the spat.
The two were far too entangled for Zircon to risk throwing her weapon, but even in-hand it made for a suitable blunt device. Glancing around, she locked eyes with a youma that looked roughly like a constrictor-sized centipede, and with a sharp flick of her wrist motioned towards the pair. "Bind the senshi," she snapped, pointing towards Thraen. Cautious to the blooms just beginning to wilt under their feet, Zircon sprinted around to what she could perceive as being 'behind' the senshi of gardens, and after a moment's hesitation, rushed in, her boomerang held high like a tomahawk poised for the back of his blooming head.
Just one hit and he'll be down, just one hit, he'll never see you...

Despite her own misery, Mica seen the flash of white light glisten from the woods, and she had felt the shift in power. The sickly Chaos that she had grown used to had dissipated and was replaced with an offensively warm aura of Order. It was then that she noticed that Vespa and his little weed of a girlfriend had disappeared from the park, and it was no question what had happened! Suddenly, the senshi that she had dragged into the fountain and had just punched her meant nothing to her, and she looked for her spear, spotting it as it laid on the ground, untouched and still hungry for blood.
She had failed to stop Vespa from switching sides, but at least she could make sure that his tenure in the White Moon would have been short lived! She reached for her spear and it obeyed her command without question, appearing back in her hands, and she only took a second to savor the feel of the security and strength it gave her before moving out of the fountain. She had managed to get onto the sides when Megrez threw a punch at her and managed to catch the back of her knee, causing her to lose her balance and stumble forward ever so slightly…
But even that could have been deadly. She had tried to catch herself with her spear, driving the hilt into the ground and activating its magic, and the ice anchored the weapon into the ground, but not so much the officer that held the weapon. Strong as she was, her fingers had slipped, and she could not hide the gasp she felt the tip of the spear pressing against the plating of her stomach. Had it pierced? She wasn’t sure, but she dared not move, remaining propped up by the blades of her own spear and silently hoping that her armor would be enough to keep her own weapon from impaling herself.
She caught movement from the corner of her eye, spotting Pasiphae and a vaguely familiar form, and she could not stop herself from hissing, despite her peculiar position between life and death. ”You traitor!”
It wasn’t that Eternal Vespa wanted to waste Irene’s magic, but he could not bring himself to abandon the fight right now. Mimisbrunnr’s injury and the thought of everyone that had supported his decision and fought to protect him, or even those that had been caught in the middle of his mess up, was still clear on his conscious. He could not abandon them to fight a battle that was his own. And he knew that Pasiphae would understand, so when she followed him back into the park, into the chaos, he felt justified in his actions.
He had to stop this fight before more were hurt! And he ran straight towards his tormentor with reckless abandon. Perhaps he could talk Mica down and convince her to abandon this fight? He knew that he could not convince her not to hate him or try and kill him later on, but perhaps he could talk her into retreating the Negaverse forces this night? The position she was in when he got there was terrifying enough, but he did not once stop or slow down, not until he was within arms reach of her. Her hate-filled words struck his conscious, but that didn’t stop him from speaking out. “You’re right! I am a traitor, Mica! But your anger’s not with the rest of them… it’s with me, and you have every reason to hate me! Just call off this fight and go home… I don’t want anyone else hurt this night!”
He wasn’t sure why there were so many people gathered anyway, but he was grateful for their support. Their presence alone had helped, and if he wasn’t talking down an angry and pinned Negaverse general, he would have expressed his gratitude towards all of them, but now wasn’t the time. She continued to glare at him, seething, and foolishly so, he inched closer to her, to help her down from the trap that she had made for herself. Perhaps if he helped her, she’d feel obligated to leave, if only for the night. She had some code of honor, he told himself, and he spoke softly and only to her as he made his approach. ”It’s not your fault, Mica… I simply wasn’t meant to be a part of the Negaverse. And neither are you, deep down inside. I know you cared about me, to some extent, but… I left for my own reasons, not because of you, and so this shouldn’t be seen as a failure on your part. So please, let me help you down, and in return, you call for a retreat. No one has to die tonight…”
Where had this courage come from? Mica remained as she were, still pinned with her own spear and her cold yet firm fingers the only thing keeping her from slipping further downwards and onto death. Yet, she didn’t look down at her weapon, but instead the true instrument of her destruction, her fierce turquoise eyes pinned on Vespa’s own green. A sneer remained firmly attached to her face as she listened to his speech, periodically pulling herself back, and when he approached her, she fought the urge to take a swing at him, if only because she knew that she couldn’t hold herself up with one hand.
”What are you babbling on about? Of course this is my fault! I took you in when our generals feared you were too meek, I made you sharpen your stingers… I used your family as BAIT. How the hell can you dare say this is not my failure?!”
Vespa wore a look on confusion, and it was that, as well as the cracking of melting ice that gave Mica the opening she’d need. He didn’t remember that? He didn’t remember his family? The ice that anchored her spear into the ground finally split and cracked, and Mica had managed to twist herself around, finishing her safe descent. She almost wanted to laugh at the death that she would give to Vespa, and his entire family- all she had to do was dislodge her spear from her armored chest plate and give it a twirl, and Vespa’s head would be hers!
”Your, and their heads, will be my redemption, little Wasp!”
