Siddie might once have flinched at the hiss, but she was less skittish these days. She just pushed steadily, giving Zar enough purchase to get the bone snapped back into place with a dull crack that resonated all the way up her arms.

The sudden enveloping cloud of emotions that were not her own startled her, a swirl of familiar-not-familiar feelings that didn't taste like hers, and a spike of surprise and curiosity colored the sense of her when she figured out what was going on. He didn't seem to be attacking her, and the little lump of suspicion eased quickly.

The storm of other feelings stopped as suddenly as it had started, and Siddie stepped back, pushing her hair out of her eyes and trying to get her breath and heartbeat back under control. "Um - was that you?" she asked. "Okay now?"

Zar was very grateful to have mobility of his jaw restored and gave it a few chomps just to reaffirm that it was folding up properly despite the pain involved from bruising and the gouges surface level. It seemed to be fine and he smiled, or at least, bared a lot of teeth at the ghoul.

"Thank you" he hissed. "And erm. It wasssss. I can't help it. My apologiessss." And, satisfied that he wouldn't completely mess himself up in doing so, he transformed back, his voice no longer a strangled serpentine hiss as he bowed his head to Siddie.

"Much obliged."

"That's all right. That must have hurt, I don't blame you for having a little trouble with your abilities when you're hurt," Siddie said, and performed a small curtsey. "Nice to meet you, even though the circumstances were less than perfect. I'm Obsidian, but you can call me Siddie."

Camilla practically sleep walked along with bag in hand she was looking at the ground to make sure she wouldn't trip on anything because she knew if she went down she wasn't getting back up again for a while...

Periodically she'd look up at a booth to see if she wanted to play it... not that she could even hope to comprehend it's rules right then but finally her eyes settled on a booth that made her smile drowsily a Nap booth! She couldn't just use a nap she NEEDED a nap! Tiredly she walked her way over to the inviting booth on her way by the roll of tickets she grabbed at one without thinking and it ripped in her hand blearily she stared at it for a moment before dropping it and moving towards the pillows

She was still wet and very cold and normally she'd hate to get somebody else's pillows all wet but in that moment she honestly didn't care and soon found a nice big mound of pillows after drowsily grabbing a blanket she pretty much dove into the mound and made a warm pillow nest... If anybody happened to move a few pillows they'd see a curled up Dormouse ghoul fast asleep

It was a good hour later before Camilla finally woke up blearily she poked her head out of the pillow nest before climbing out completely she was finally mostly dry but still alittle damp and despite the warmth of the air and the pillow nest she was still slightly chilled and so still kinda drowsy she frowns apologeticly at the booth owner for the wet pillows and blanket before waving a thanks and walking out

Zar narrowed his eyes once again as the ghoul identified herself. "Siddie. Are you the one who..." he shot a glare at Barth and then back to her. Barth surrounded himself with people, and that only made sense, but every time he ran into another person he hadn't known prior, he found himself irritated all over again.

Siddie pursed her lips a little, confused by the sudden chill in the demon boil's manner. Was she the one who ... what? He'd looked at Barth. Did he mean the arrangement? He must be a close friend, if he knew about that; it wasn't exactly common knowledge, kept quiet because the eventual breaking of the engagement would be less embarrassing for their families if it wasn't very public. She needed to speak to Barth about it, actually; she'd made her own contacts and arrangements in preparation, working diligently in her classes and outside them to be sure that she could support herself once her parents would not. It was about time to complete the deal. She would owe Barth a very big favor indeed, but she had known that all along.

If this boil knew about the arrangement, he wouldn't be spreading the information around, and perhaps he'd have a chance to talk to Barth before she did. "Yes," she said, quietly, because there were other people in the booth, "but do tell him that I need to ask him about breaking it, if I cannot find the time to tell him first."

Lusine looked at the huge roll of tickets. She pulled a ticket, trying to be careful, only to have ti rip in half. She sighed, this was supposed to be easy.

Zar pushed his glasses up his nose -still scratched and injured, even in this shape - with a perfect claw and now that he was in a form which was not quite so addled with instinct, gave the ghoul an appraising and critical once over. He was still unsure if Barth had been downplaying things or if he had been legitimate in his description of the situation, the other demon was one of his closest friends but that didn't mean he always believed him, it was the nature of their kind.

Still, if she was thinking about breaking it off, that meant Barth must have done something to slight her, something to make her want to break it off with him. This, at least pleased him and something about the coldness in his expression softened.

"I will be sure to." he said and smiled again. His parents had pressured him to marry himself off, or to find a wealthy demon who would have him as their live in concubine. He might have done those things too if he hadn't been and wasn't still a complete social disaster. He wanted to ask if it was necessity or something deeper that had sparked things in the first place, to hear her side of things, but it was evident it was something intended to be quiet, so he pressed no further.

"Sometimes, for someone who moves so incredibly slowly, he can be difficult to find."

"Thank you," Siddie nodded, and agreed ruefully, "Yes, he has many demands on his time, and I've plenty of homework and other things to do." She'd had some time free the previous week, but much of that time had been spent getting glitter eradicated from her room and scrubbed out of her minipets' fur and washed out of the sheets and out of her clothes. She hadn't yet decided on her revenge, and anyway, if she waited for a while, Sammy wouldn't be expecting it any more. The thought made her lips curl in a small, wicked smile.

"Your other form is impressive," she said. "I've sometimes wished I could change shape more effectively."

"I would trade it away." Zar said. "A lot of my abilities involve losing control of my shape for one reason or another, It seemed to be linked to my subconscious or my erm. Mood. I do not control it very well at all."

He sighed, dabbing the blackened handkerchief to his face with his tail. "It is more of a burden than a blessing, if I am honest." Shaking his head he raised a brow at her. "What sort of things do you do, if you don't mind my asking?" He couldn't guess from the ghoul's fascinating appearance what she was or what her abilities might be. She had tasted somehow dark, but beyond that he could not hazard a guess.

"Oh. I don't think I'd enjoy that much, then." Siddie curled a lock of hair around her finger, the inky shadow of the strand of hair merging and getting lost in the shadow of her hand. "I'm sure you'll learn," she added earnestly.

"I am a shadow," she explained, "and I have a little control over my shape and other shadows." She let go of the curl she'd been playing with and held out her hand, elongating her fingers into needle-like claws to demonstrate. "I can also go flat," she said, "but, um, I don't do that too much, because, well. My clothes don't go flat." Spots of deep purple blush flared on her cheeks. "If I can gather up some other shadows, I can shape them into something to wear, but that takes a lot of concentration."

The Incubus listened raptly to her explanation of what she was capable of, one brow raised. "Oh my." he said, looking over her claws with fascination. "That sounds extremely useful." His own shape was wobbly in places but hardly to the extent that he could reshape himself like a shadow. He couldn't help but be enthralled with anything that spoke of lethality or danger.

His smile turned a little more playful as he added. "If it were me, I should do it any way, clothing or no. Modesty is an illusion imposed on us by these pins." His tail coiled again in a smug satisfied kind of way. "I think you would look perfectly acceptable in nothing at all."
