Hey, look at me, sweetie~
Hollandaise waved at the trembling little shortcake. She needed to tame it... with a whip. It wasn't a lion. Her first strike did not hit anywhere near the little dessert and she frowned, pink glitter falling from her hair.
"This seems less than nice..." She slanted yellow eyes at the boil. He was really cute, she supposed. She whipped at her dessert again, taking off bits of the cream.
"Please, come to me, sweetling," she cooed.

The damn shortcake wasn't phased; it understood ehr, but no trmebling shook it's tiny form. Hollandaise's eyes widened, her hair falling forward, over her shoulders. Her voice was a silibant hiss as she spoke to the shortcale. Slowly, slowly, it began to tremble and quake. It wasn't scared -enough-, but it would do. "Beth sy'n bod, little one? Benji listens carefully to the instructions before squaring off against a fairly angry-looking cherry eclair. He lashes the whip at it five times, knocking some random object aside the first time. The second time he definitely gets its attention, but the next three times he gets a little too aggressive and actually hurts it a bit, leaving it looking slightly battered.

Now be a good cutie and come down.Lowering the whip to his side but still trying to look menacing, Benji points imposingly to the cloth. "You get down here, on this cloth, right now!" he orders it, but it doesn't seem to pay attention, just circling higher and aiming a small spot of its ruffled and depleted cream at a passerby. Benji's ears go back and he bares his teeth at the eclair. His voice drops to a threatening hiss. "If you don't land on this cloth," he snarls at it, "I'm going to jump up and catch you, and when I catch you, I'm going to bite you." He can see it's shaking a little, but it's not frightened enough yet. He stretches his lips into a toothy grin. "And then," he continues, "I'm going to hold you tight, and I'll slowly... nibble... you.. to pieces." He clashes his sharp teeth a few times for emphasis, letting a predatory look into his eyes. At first he seems to have only scared it a little bit; he locks 'eyes' with a couple of interestingly-placed cherries, staring it down until it slowly, stubbornly floats down to land on the cloth, becoming indistinguishable from an ordinary, if roughly-handled, eclair. He accepts the sweet-smelling fluff from AJ and gives it a friendly pat before tucking it affectionately into his pocket. Assuming that the eclair did land, as the flavor text didn't say that it didn't land sweatdrop Meegane CONGRATULATIONS! I AM A LEGAL DESSERT TAMER! Hey, look at me, sweetie~
Leaving the ice cube booth with another treat in his bag, Rojo stopped at a game manned by an older boil that had, upon closer inspection, a head for a tail. Amazing!
He hesitantly picked up the required whip and gave it his best flick, which turned out to be quite an impressive one. Too bad it was a little too much for the sentient sundae he struck. It hissed and glared at him, dropping a couple of juicy maggots onto the ground beneath it. Rojo whipped at it again, and although it seemed more impressed with him this second time, his next three attempts were met with jaded indifference. He set his whip down in the same spot from where he'd picked it up, then crossed his arms, initiating a staring contest with the dessert even though they both lacked eyes.

Now be a good cutie and come down.His next task was to get the sundae onto a designated cloth, which seemed simple enough in theory. Rojo tried speaking to it calmly, but he soon realized that any forward motion the creature had made was due to his bony face. The sundae was frightened.
He was scary.
The calaca's mouth slowly opened in a happy (but admittedly terrifying) grin, scooting the dessert forward again, but nothing could make up for the damage he'd already done with the whip. Rojo seemed perfectly happy with being average, however, clapping and smiling as the sundae reached the cloth.

 Trouble giggled as creeple ate the desserts with some magical powders sprinkled, they were something different, they weren't give desserts lives, but they will give whoever ate the desserts some special gift. Look, another dumbie ate the dessert! The Pygmy Wish had its tail swung left and right, but disappointed that Shiki only got a pair of cute wings. Well, better than nothing, the image of a manly guy had wings fluttering at his back was funny enough. Trouble rewarded its peasant a fluff with a kick and a gloating expression. ==================================== OMG this poor boil. AJ wasn't sure what to say to the unlucky reaper of his luck, he already tried so hard, but the dango - the dango he picked - was another exception. Which dango would turn around non-stop like that? The serpent dragon boil caught the dango gently and sniffed it, and with an awkward expression announced, "Er, It's drunken, probably indulged in its own world....." He scratched his head. "Failures lead to success, you are doing well in my opinion, hmm - just need a bit of luck. You can stay here to observe the desserts longer until I close the booth? I can't say much because my feeling and yours are different, so observation is the best way to learn." Shadow walked up to the booth and was quickly sweet talked into trying to tame a dessert. The booth holder hand her a whip and explains that the first step is to get the desserts attention. Shadow swings her whip and managest to catch its attention

Nest step was to scare the dessert. Shadow was given 3 chances before he would step in and take over. She tries her best and is successful in some attempts.
